Riley's pov
We get back to Auradon as we are walking back to the school
"Why don't you guys stop by practice later?" Jay asked me and Lonnie
"What, in the mood to break some rules?" Lonnie asked which made me giggle a bit
"No" Jay said as he chuckles
I knew that Jay was talking about letting we fence on the team
"I'll get these back to the gym" Lonnie said as she smiles
"Thanks" Indira said with a smile
"See you later" Lonnie said as she headed to the gym
Then Jane walks us
"Ben, there you are. Cotillion's tonight. Come here. Look, this is the stained glass window for Mal. Isn't it beautiful? She's gonng love it" Jane said
"Do you want to cancel?" Ben asked Mal
"Um, you know what? I can come back -Uh, but, like, really, really soon" Jane said
"No, no, no. No, no, no. Now's fine. Um.." Ben said
"Do whatever you need to do" Ben said to Mal
Ben walks off
"We need to talk" Evie said as she grabs Mal's arm
"Yeah" Indira said also grabs my arm and pulls me with them
I looked at Wyatt with a look of help
"No" Carlos said
"No?" Evie said in confusion
"You guys are always going off in a huddle, whispering your girl talk stuff or whatever, and Jay, Wyatt and I are tired of it" Carlos said
"I'm not" Jay said
"Same here" Wyatt said
"We're your family, too. We've been through a lot together. We're not stopping that now, okay? Everyone sit" Carlos said as he sits down on the ground
"Come on" Carlos said to everyone
We sat down on the ground as Dude whines
"You too" Carlos said to Dude
"I don't know how to start girl talk" Carlos said sounding questioned
"What up?" Jay and Wyatt said together
We laughed softly and I lean onto Wyatt as he wraps his arm around me and of course Indira is holding hands with Jay too
"Um, well... I'm a mess. I'm such a mess. I mean, six months ago, I was, you know stealing candy from babies, and now everybody wants me to be this Lady of the Court. And I have no idea how to keep up the act" Mal said
"Then don't" Carlos said
"See? This was dumb" Jay said as he was about to get up with his girlfriend
"Maybe it wasn't" Evie said
And Jay sat back down
"You guys always gonna be the kids from the Isle" I said with a soft smile
"You guys tried to forget it. You really tried, but those are your roots" Indira said
"And you guys did what you had to do to survive. But it made you guys who you are" Azari said
"And we aren't gonna be like anybody else here. And that's okay. That's okay" Wyatt said
"And we can't fake it" Carlos said
"No" me, Indira and Azari said together
I turned to Wyatt and I smiled and he smiled back
"Yeah. I mean, especially without my spell book" Mal said
"Mal, if Ben doesn't love the real you, then he's not the one" Carlos said to her
"I agree" Indira said and grabs Mal's hand
"I like that" Evie said with a smile
"Give him a chance" I said with a smile
"I'll make some changes to your dress. And if you're up for it - only if you're up for it - it will be waiting for you, okay?" Evie said
Mal nods her head okay as Evie, Azari and Indira walked off not before Dira kissed her boyfriend before leaving
Me, Wyatt, Jay and Carlos got up and walked away as we see Mal still sitting on the ground
Me, Wyatt and Jay stopped and sat down in front of her
"Come to Cotillion tonight, all right?" Jay said
I grabbed her hand
"If Ben isn't smart enough to love you and you can't stand another day" I start
"We'll drive you back tomorrow. Okay?" Wyatt finished
Mal nods her head okay as we get up and go our separate ways will me and Wyatt went together since he doesn't want to leave me alone after what happened on the Isle
Carlos came up to us
"Riley, I need your advice" Carlos said
"Let me guess on asking Jane to Cotillion?" I asked as I giggled a bit
"Yes" he said and looked down
I placed my hand on his shoulder
"Carlos, just be yourself ok?" I said
"If she says no then she's a fool" Wyatt said
"Thanks you guys" Carlos said as he walks off towards Jay as they walked off
I sighed softly and looked at the bracelet that Fabian gave me
"They will be ok princess and plus you can still talk to them through the bracelet" Wyatt said
"I know but I wish they could come here and same goes for your little sister" I said
He cups my cheek and runs his thumb over it
"I wish that too. But someday it will happen" he said with a soft smile
I nod and pecked him on the lips
"I'll see you at fence practice wolfie" I said
"Ok princess love you" he said
"I love you too" I said
And we kissed one more time and we went our different ways
Third pov
Riley and Lonnie are back at R.O.A.R practice in the hall waiting to come out which they are both really excited about as we hear on what's happening
"Let's bring it in, guys. Let's bring it in" Jay said
Jay sighs as he continues
"All right. You all know I come from the Isle, right, where things are pretty whack. But there is one thing the Isle's got on Auradon" Jay starts
"If you're strong, we want you by our side - girl or boy" Wyatt finishes
"Hey, Jay, Wyatt hold on here. We don't - we don't break the rules here in Auradon. That's over one the Isle" Chad said as he scoffs
Wyatt pulls out the handbook and throws it to Jay who caught it
" 'The team shall be comprised of a captain and eight men' So, uh... give up for your new team captain and co-captain" Jay said
They all looked shocked as Lonnie and Riley came in as Wyatt smiles seeing that it worked now his princess is on the team
(Riley has a similar uniform like Lonnie but her's has suns then flowers and it's light purple and pink so imagine it please)
"Whoa! What?!" Chad said in shock
"Woo! Yeah Lonnie, Riley!!" Weiss, Aria and Indira cheered for them
Lonnie and Riley give your friends a smile as they walk up to the guys
Everyone claps as Jay hands them two whistles and everyone bows
"Thank you" Lonnie and Riley said together
"Fine" Chad said and bows too
Riley blows the whistle
"Give me 10! Come on, guys" Lonnie said
The guys got on the ground as they started doing push ups
"1, 2..." the guys all say
"Pick it up, Chad" Riley said as she places her foot on his back
"3, 4..." the guys said
"Nice form, Jay, Wyatt" Lonnie said
"6, 7, 8, 9, 10" the guys said
Lonnie blows the whistle again
"Okay, practice is over. Get out of here. Go get ready for Cotillion" Riley said
The guys left as Weiss, Aria and Indira came down and started congratulating Lonnie and Riley
"Hey, Jay" Lonnie calls out to him
"Yeah?" Jay asked
"Thank you and wait until I tell my mom" Lonnie said with a smile
The girls walk out of there as Jay and Indira left together talking about something
Riley's pov
I turned to Wyatt with a big smile on my face as he walked closer and kissed my cheek
"Ready for Cotillion?" I asked
"Yes as long as I'm with my sun princess" he said with a fangy smile
I blushed but kisses his cheek
"Come on let go get ready" I said
He nods and grabs my hand and we headed out to get ready for Cotillion
~Another Time skip~
I'm in my room getting ready for Cotillion with Weiss, Aria and Indira
Then Indira jumps up and walks over to her bag
"I almost forgot. Dizzy made us some jewelry for Cotillion" Indira said as she pulls out the jewelry
I grabbed the sun bracelet as I looked at it in awe
"Aw. She did amazing wish I got to meet her" I said
"Same here" Aria and Weiss said together
"Yeah but she had hi and hope to see us wearing her jewelry and Ry, Winnie said that she is happy that you are her older brother's mate and hopes too see you and Fabian told me that Winnie wanted him to give you that bracelet he gave you before we left" Indira said with a smile
I smiled and held two bracelets close to my chest knowing that I'll meet them someday
"Let continue getting ready girls" Aria said
"Right" Weiss said
And we continued to get ready
