"Well, it's have been nice meeting the two of you. See you around then!" Aeri spoke with much respect as soon as she saw Katsumi and Haku preparing to leave.
Both of them just nodded their head as they slowly walked away. She then gave him a school ID with his complete name and picture.
"Continue to lurk around the school. Get as much info as you can. Siren, keep an eye on that girl Aeri. Through her and her friends, find out when and where Heeseng and Minji meet. Oh, and make sure to grab her attention when things may get complicated, you know what I mean? But don't go singing to get her heart, the Puppeteer made it clear to not do that."
Haku simply nodded his head like a servant.
"What about you? What will you do then Succubus?" He asked.
"Oh I'll be having fun elsewhere. Sure I won't get to torment that Jay boy or whatever his name is, but I'll have much more fun hunting a very special boy. Once I'm done, I'll return to the base with the Hunter."
Haku and Katsumi went on their separate ways - both of them carrying out the missions that were given to them by an unknown authority.

"Jungwon, I know you're mad, but you have to understand that what we were about to do was wrong. We never should have thought of that."
A meditating Jungwon in the middle of the music room listened to the annoying voice of a regretful Sunoo.
He has been absent from school for several days. He didn't go to class, and he especially did not show his face to anyone. He often stayed in his apartment room, but today is an exception since Sunoo called for him to say a very important thing.
"You don't need to continue helping me. I don't want your help if it means I have to hurt others." Sunoo added.
"I never needed your help. You were and are absolutely useless. Come back when you can actually help me." Jungwon replied nonchalantly, inhaling and exhaling deeper as he continued to focus his mind.
Sunoo chuckled, shaking his head as he continued to have this conversation with Jungwon.
"I told you, I'm not helping you. What you're planning to do is wrong. I'm on Heeseung hyung and Minji's side here."
Jungwon slowly opened his eyes, gazing at Sunoo's figure, focusing his attention on the other's eyes.
"You picked the wrong side. This will be your final offer." He said, slowly getting up and facing backward, looking at the various stringed instruments behind the grand piano in the room.
"Help me, and all your dreams will come true." Jungwon said in a scheming voice. As he gently touched the piano, he began to elaborate more.
"You'll live your best life if you join me. What is it that you want? Fame? A successful career? Or perhaps...Ni-ki?" He said, turning his head to look at Sunoo once again.
This was exactly like their first deal, except instead of Sunoo making the offer, he is the one receiving it.
Sunoo's heart ached a little bit. Jungwon mentioned everything he wanted. He of course knew that Jungwon can't give him those, but a mere promise was enough to make him second guess the decision he'll make.
Though after a few seconds of silence, he shook his head no, staying strong and staying true to his word of not hurting anyone else anymore.
"You made a mistake."
"No, I made the right decision. You can't do anything without my help, you'll never succeed in making Heeseung hyung and Minji break up."
"Hmm." Jungwon chuckled, then heard multiple voices coming from outside the room. The students swarmed the corridors like bees surrounding a hive - all watching a problematic yet amusing scenario.
Jungwon and Sunoo put away their little argument for a while and went outside to check the situation. Someone had to go regulate the commission outside - and it was none other than Sunoo - the current council president's task to sort this out.
Outside they saw two female students fighting each other - slapping one another's faces and pulling each other's hair. It was a typical fight between high school girls. People tried to intervene, but they just won't stop fighting. The two ladies have already hit each other so much that it would leave bruises and marks all over their faces and bodies. They've fought so much that they may actually develop a bald spot from all the intense hair-pulling.
Sunoo saw this as an alarming situation. Not only will they all get scolded by the teachers, but the health and safety of the two girls will be at great risk at this rate.
With the help of other students, Sunoo managed to keep them away from each other. But despite restraining their movements, you could tell that they would still beat up the other. Their eyes were filled with rage. And they resisted so much to the point that the attempts to keep them still would be feeble.
"What the hell is wrong with you two?!!" Sunoo shouted as he did his best to hold back one girl.
Amidst the shouting and the chaos, there was a melody.
Behind the crowd, a few meters away, was a man singing. His voice was so intoxicating, so gentle, so pure - you'd fall into a trance.
"Show yourselves. The sooner I find you, the sooner these innocent girls will be free." the man told himself as he continued to sing his song.
After a few more seconds, Heeseung and Minji finally arrived at the scene. They heard from others that there was a fight going on, so they both rushed to the area immediately. Both of the helped Sunoo despite him being awkward around the two of them most of the time.
Jungwon, who was watching all this time, decided to finally step in and help.
Haku the Siren chuckled, finally stopping his melodic incantations.
"There you are."

Levi nearly had his throat slashed by a monster's claw.
He was peacefully minding his business. Even though he moved to a new apartment building, he knew that sooner or later, someone would find him. Though he has to admit, the girl that found him was not the one he was expecting.
Using daggers that he made from thin air, he blocked all attacks from a monstrous creature.
He and the monster battled it out even more, both nearly receiving deadly blows. The monster smashed everything around the area as it tried to cut off Levi's arm. Thankfully, he was swift enough to dodge every strike.
He saw an opportunity to strike back, his daggers merging like liquid to form a katana. Though the sword was made from pure energy, it was as sharp as a real one.
The two continued to battle it out - and after a long encounter, Levi was finally the first to fall to the floor.
As much as he wanted to fight back, he couldn't because of the wounds on his arm and chest area that he got from the creature's razor-sharp claws.
He hissed at the pain, looking at the tall beast transform into a pretty girl with a devilish smile.
"The Puppeteer said you were deadly. Turns out, I'm deadlier." Katsumi said, still looking as evil as ever.
Levi cannot allow himself to be taken away by the woman. He must fight back and escape. He needs to get out of here alive because there's something he needs to tell someone. He needs to tell a particular person to run away fast and get away from here as fast as they can. he needs to tell that person to hide in a place no one could ever find them.
He slowly crawled away, clearly having difficulty escaping.
Katsumi laughed as she sees Levi struggle. She readies her claws, preparing to deliver a final blow.
"Don't worry Hunter, I'll make sure you go back to your true nature."

hi everyone, it's me again. I know that this is the nth time that it took a chapter so long. To be honest, I felt burnt out in writing this book, that's why there were many breaks and the recent one was a super long hiatus. I won't make any promises because I always promised to write more often but end up not doing that.
Soooo instead of promising, I would like to say thank you to everyone who was patient enough to wait for me and Yangdere to come back. Thank you so much for your patience, and I hope the future chapters are worth the wait - especially now that the book is 3/4 done.
