GEORGINA
"Hija, is everything alright?" I immediately stopped walking when I heard my mom's voice. I turned to face her, only to see a batch of her Amigas sitting in our sala.
"I'm alright mom, napagod lang po, ipapahinga ko lang po. Good evening po" I greeted her friends.
"Good evening hija, let us not bother your daughter amiga, magpahinga ka na Georgina" I immediately recognized her, Wax's mom.
I just smiled and gave my mom a peck in the cheeks before I headed up our stairs.
"So, what is the reason why the wedding is called off?" one of mom's friends asked. Mabilis akong napahinto sa paglalakad, luckily this part of our stairs is hidden from our sala.
"Well, aware naman kayo na hindi ito ang unang beses na na atras ang kasal, same thing happened last year and my unico hijo waited patiently for Isabel because she asked for a year to pursue her career"
"So what happened now?" my mom asked.
"Well, as you know, Isabel is a very ambitious girl, it is not a bad thing of course but she kept disregarding my son's feelings. I heard she got another offer abroad, big project daw and it will take a year or two. I know my son is willing to wait for her pero I am not sure for how long"

Minabuti ko na lang na ituloy na ang pag akyat ko. I felt bad dahil nag eavesdrop ako pero somehow it made me feel better knowing na hindi ako nag dahilan why the wedding was called off.
I cleaned myself and wore a more comfortable clothes. Hindi ko alam kung anong meron pero dinala ko hanggang kama ko ang pregnancy test na binili ko at ipinangtest ko sa sarili kahit na doktor na ang nagsabing buntis ako.
I just looked at the two lines wondering how these red lines are going to change my life. I touched my tummy, obviously, it is still flat.
"I still don't know what to do with you, ano ba ang dapat kong gawin?"
That was the last thought in my mind before I dripped into sleep.
"Ilora Georgina!" i was awaked by my mom's scream. I immediately fell from my bad to the floor dahil sa gulat. I had a little difficulty standing up dahil nakaramdam ako ng pain sa puson ko.
"Mom" I stood up in front of her at ganoon na lang ang pagnginig ng laman ko ng makita ko ang hawak nya.

"What the hell is this? What the fcking hell is this, Georgina!" ang lakas na ng sigaw nya at galit na galit na ang tingin nya sakin.
"Mom, I can explain-
"Tell me!"
That's when I started crying, takot na takot ako dahil alam kong masasaktan ko na naman ang mommy ko.
"Mommy, I'm sorry, b-buntis po ako"
I immediately fell to the ground ng malakas nya akong sampalin.
"Georgina! Tngina naman! Kailan ka ba matatapos sa pagpapahirap sakin! Hanggang kailan mo ko papatayin sa sama ng loob?!"
At this point, I can't move really well but I ignored the pain and sat down to held on my mom's legs na ngayon ay umiiyak na sa galit.
"Mommy, sorry, sorry po talaga, hindi ko po gustong wag sabihin agad-
My mom pushed me again. She is so angry!
"You are a disgrace! Tell me, sino ang nakabuntis sayo?! I am sure it is a random guy you met at the bar! Ano na lang ang sasabihin ng mga tao sayo at sa akin?! Wala ka bang kahihiyan?!"
"Mommy, I am really sorry, patawatin nyo po ako-
"Sino ang nakabuntis sayo?! Tell me, sino?!"
I looked at my mom. Natatakot ako, alam ko na iba magalit si mommy at ayoko na mandamay pa ng iba. Wax and I agreed not to tell anyone, hindi na nila kailangan malaman.
The worst thing she will do is send me abroad.
"Georgina!"
"Mommy" I cried more, I am feeling lightheaded already. "I-I don't know" I lied.
My mom slowly sat down in front of me, tila nanghina sya.
"Ano na ang gagawin ko sayo? Ano na ang mangyayari sayo?!" she said crying but I didn't get a chance to apologize nor say anything dahil kusang dumilim ang paligid ko.

"Isabel called me" AJ told me. Magkatabi kami ngayon while he is busy checking patient's chart at nagkakape naman ako.
Kami ang naka assign sa ER ngayon, you might wonder why kami ang nandito, this hospital have that policy na dapat may main doctors pa din sa ER to oversee and nagkataong sabay ang duty namin ngayong umaga.
"Let her be, kakausapin ko na lang sya sa susunod" I told him.
"Honestly dude, don't just say ok or yes sa mga gusto nya. I know how much you respect her and her career pero inirerespeto nya ba ang mga desisyon mo?"
"You know I love her diba?"
"And I don't want to love like that again, nakakasira ng ulo"
I laughed dahil sobrang bitter pa rin ng lalaking ito.
"You know, I saw Avi the other day-
"Excuse me, may pasyente ako, ubusin mo na yang kape mo at nang magkasilbi ka dito sa ER" he immediately left me kaya naman I chuckled to myself.
Mabilis kong inubos ang kape ko.
Isabel and I have been in a relationship since college. I proposed to her three years ago, we are supposed to get married a year ago pero we had to push dahil she is still pursuing her career and now she just sent me an email telling me we have to cancel our wedding again this year because she was offered to do a big project in Italy.
She is a very talented woman but I just expected her to atleast tell me her reason in person, that she will be with me to answer the questions of our elderly.
I am not perfect, I got so drunk and cheated with her. I slept with Ilora and I'm thinking that this is my karma for that. I just accepted her reason and cancelled our wedding pero hindi pa kami nakakapag usap ng maayos.
"Ano pong nangyari?" my thoughts were interrupted when I heard one of our nurses ask that to an elderly woman na tila pamilyar sakin. She is shaking and crying kaya naman lumapit na ako.
"What happened here? Nasaan ang pasyente?" I asked.
"Ibinababa na po from ambulance dok, medyo nag iingat lang sila"
I looked at the woman, seeing her this close, she is one of my mom's friends and the one running to be this city's mayor.
"Excuse me po" I was about to ask her pero sakto ang naging pagpasok ng iba pang nurses na merong tulak na stretcher.
Mabilis akong pinanlamigan ng makita ko ang walang malay na si Ilora Georgina sa stretcher.
"Georgina" her mom started crying.
"What happened?" I asked her.
"We had an argument this morning, I got out of control, I pushed her, help me please, my daughter, she's bleeding-
"We will do our best misis. kumalma po muna-
"I can't! Please save my daughter, save my grandchld!"
"A-ano po?"
"She's pregnant, she's pregnant, please save them!"
