As you walked onto the room you were given too you couldn't help but be amazed. This school is loaded as hell! Well considering only a number of students get in.
Thank the God's you picked this one. Throwing your luggage onto the floor somewhere, you dove in the bed.
Soon after you just staying on the bed and scrolling through your phone, a knock came from the door. Standing up you opened it, " Y/n!! lets check out the bar while Xiao's not yet watching! " Venti said as he pulled your arm.
" you better be the one buying! " you whisper shouted at him. As the two of you navigated through the empty hallways, the voice you two we're trying your hardest to avoid came from behind you. " Buying what exactly? "
You looked behind you carefully seeing, a cross armed Xiao who was narrowing his eyes at you both. "Snacks!-" you blurted out sweat going down your forehead.
" you have like 8 bags of candy's and chips upstairs. " He said walking towards you. " well, look at the time I gotta go! " your supposed 'friend' said abandoning you with Xiao.
" VENTI YOU FUCKING TRAITOR! " you shouted at him. " so, you still going to buy snacks? " Xiao said shaking his head in disappointment.
" Venti was the one that dragged me, blame him " you whined knowing you've been busted. Xiao shook his head before taking your hand and dragging you with him, again. " where are we going exactly? " you ask only seeing his back.
He suddenly stopped, " you don't know do you? " you said covering your mouth with your hand to avoid laughing at him. " there's a beach at the front of the hotel? " he said looking at your reaction.
You nodded excitedly and started pulling him, until you stopped. " I forgot I don't know this place..."
As you two started walking around ( still getting nowhere ) you groaned loudly, " I think I saw a map on the front desk earlier. " you said.
" and you just decided to say that now!? " Xiao said groaning. " calm down, its still like 9 in the morning " you said rolling your eyes.
" wait I heard we we're going hiking today? " you said while leaning on his shoulder also looking at the map. " yeah Mr. Ragnvindr said its in an hour " he said nonchalantly.
" wait what?! " you shouted, you thought it was still in the afternoon?! " yeah, they're just giving the students an hour to settle in "
" wouldn't we be late if we explored now? " you asked tilting your head at him.
" nope, we'll run " Xiao said. After walking for a few minutes you finally got to the front of the hotel. You grinned taking off your shoes and ran around the sand.
Seeing Xiao at the side smiling at you, you decided to pull him along with you.
" wait! My shoes! " he shouted, too bad you didn't care. You pulled him along, as he rushed to take off his sneakers. " The water looks so fun to swim in " you said crouching down and running your hand through the water.
" maybe after we get back. Let's invite the others " Xiao said. Your eyes widen as you picked up a yellow seashell with black and green streaks. Picking it up you threw the seashell gently at him. " reminds me of you " you said with a smile.
A faint red can be seen at the cheeks of Xiao, as he blushed at the gesture. " come on we gotta get back if we don't wanna get in trouble for being late " Xiao said as he held your hand and held the shell you gave him on his other hand.
4 hours later...
" I'm so tired right now, I will literally faint. " Venti said as he fell to his knees panting. It's been 4 hours since you guys started hiking, and the whole class is close to fainting.
" nono cause I might not get up tomorrow with how sore my legs will be " you said as you leaned against one of the huge boulders in the forest.
Venti looked as Scaramouche as the two made eye contact and started smirking with each other. "what?" you said looking back and forth between them.
" nothing! " the two said in sync while laughing. Xiao glared at the two clearly understanding the dirty things they were thinking.
" I saw you reading the most ungodly shit on your phone, and you don't get this " Venti said as he bursted out laughing. " what do you mean 'most ungodly shit?' " Xiao asked Venti, your eyes widen as you ran over the green haired bard tackling him and covering his mouth.
" talk and I'll throw you over the cliff right now " You said with a smile. Venti nodded furiously as he ran behind Xiao giving you the middle finger.
" look at the view " you said a wide smile on your face. Taking out your phone you pulled Xiao next to you and took a few pictures of you two, " Xiao come on smile you look like the grumpy old man from UP" you whined shaking his shoulder.
" fine stop shaking me! " he said taking your phone and doing the peace sign while smiling as you smiled next to him. " look at them, such a happy couple " Kazuha said with a smile. Venti then called over everyone to go photo bomb your pictures.
5 hours later...
The time was 8pm at night, you stood in the balcony of your room as your haired swayed from the ocean breeze a wide smile was on your face. You scrolled through your gallery seeing the pictures of your friends, you had to admit if you told your past self you would be this happy she never would have believed you.
Setting the picture of your friend's photo bombing your selfie with Xiao as your lock screen, and last you set the picture of you and Xiao smiling happily as your home screen.
As you stayed on the balcony enjoying the ocean and the breeze, a knock came to your door. Not knowing who it was you opened the door, only to be met with your favorite pretty boy. You look at him from top to bottom, a black hoodie and some pants.
" hey, what brings you here " you said with a smile. He looked at you before shaking his head nothing, " I just wanted to make sure you weren't out drinking. " you rolled your eyes at him with a small smile.
"want to go to the balcony? " you ask opening the glass doors to let the cold breeze in.
You sat down at one of the rails looking at the dark ocean beneath you as the moon was your only source of light.
" be careful you might fall, we're 4 stories tall I don't think you'll make it out " he said worriedly looking at you.
You just looked at him, 'what would it be like if I kissed him?' you thought. " y/n? " he called out looking at you even more worried. You shook your head to get your thoughts out, 'what am I even thinking?' you thought your cheeks going red.
" sorry I keep spacing out, " you said. He shook his head at you chuckling, " hey Xiao...do you like anyone? " you blurted out. Xiao visibly froze at the question.
" maybe, maybe not. " he said staring directly at your eyes.
You stared at him, if he didn't like anyone he would just say no...so does that mean he likes someone? Your heart seemed to shatter at the thought. " how about you, do you like anyone? " he questioned. You didn't know what to answer.
" lets just change the topic..." you said averting your eyes at him. " well, wanna tell me your past? " he said looking at you intently. " wow you're really going for the deep questions " you said laughing while you shook your head.
" you don't have to answer if you don't want to. " he said a frown on his face. You shook your head wanting to tell him, he deserve to know. " are you sure though you really want to know? " you ask again looking at him intently.
He nodded, " maybe tomorrow " you said bursting out laughing at his dejected face.
" I hate you " he said crossing his arms and glaring at you. You gave him a smile, before walking over to him.
You leaned in until your faces was inches apart, now you've done this a couple of times just to make him flustered about how close you two we're but this time...it was different.
You leaned in closer and closer until... your lips met his.
You didn't know why you kissed him. You just wanted to make him flustered like how you did all the time, Maybe it was you couldn't stand the thought of him being with other people? No that couldn't be it right? It was just a puppy crush... right?
As you were about to pull away, a hand made its way to the back of your neck, kissing you deeper. As you pulled away, you averted your eyes from him.
A clear red was on your face, Xiao stared at you as he ran his hand to his hair, " I should go...goodnight y/n. " he said walking away from you not even giving you a last glance.
Your heart broke at that moment, and you didn't know why. Was he mad that you kissed him? oh...that's right he likes someone else. But you couldn't help but wipe the few tears that fell of your face.
He always will be your pretty boy, but I guess he will never be yours.
