It took 10 minutes for the meds to do its magic. Karina still stroking Winter's head gently, mouth hushing soft words and Karina kept looking forward, did not realize that Winter is already fine and now watching her from Karina's lap.
Everything on Karina's face was just breathtaking. Her cat eyes, her dark brown orbs, her sharp nose, her sharp jaw, to her small lips.
Winter wanted to kiss that lips again.
Not to mention how the older girl just ran her shit out, coming here for Winter when Winter knew that the girl was 8 kilometres away from her. Winter heart just wanted more from this silhouette.
"Karina..."
Karina shifted her eyes below her, looking at Winter who was still lying on her lap, now smiling warmly at her and Karina couldn't help but to smile back. "You're fine now?"
Winter just nodded her head lightly, still showing her warm smile towards the older girl. How can she not fall even deeper for this woman? Getting to know Karina for a month shows a lot, and Winter want it to be Karina.
"Thank you, Rina. I owe you a lot", Winter smiled.
"I'm worried shit about you, Winter. How in the damn world you didn't bring your meds when you knew you had medical needs at random times?", Karina nags and Winter find that version of Karina was too cute to ignore. So, the younger girl keep smiling.
"I did bring a bottle with me, but I didn't realize it's already empty. I'm so sorry for making you worried", Winter said as she finally pulled up her head from Karina's lap, now sitting right next to her.
"Forgiven", Karina answered but not convincing enough for Winter.
Winter scoffed once before bending her body slightly towards Karina, her face now facing Karina's and crashing her lips with Karina's just for a few second. Karina was surprised and she didn't even have time to do anything about it. But it doesn't mean she need to be mad about it.
"Thank you, Rina. I meant it", Winter said with her smile.
"You said that words too many times, you know?", Karina asked.
"I know", Winter answered, looking straight into Karina's beautiful dark brown orbs, mesmerising every beautiful view in front of her with a smile before she asked her questions. "Did you just panic when I called you?"
"Hell yeah"
"You came here by taxi?"
"No. I asked my dad for a driver. I've had no time for taxi"
"And you ran here, upstairs, to find me?"
"Yes. Winter, why are you asking too much questions?", Karina groaned before rolling her eyes as she tried to stand up from where they were sitting.
"Will you be my girlfriend, then?"
Winter's question took Karina by surprise. Hey eyes wide open, turning her head to her left, looking at Winter who still sitting on the floor. She thought the younger woman might be joking with her right now, but Winter's expression tells otherwise.
Winter's eyes are looking at her, lit up full of hope, warm and cozy. Her mouth slightly formed into a small trembling smile, like she was nervous with her own question. The way she sit almost like she was begging, but wasn't clearly a beg.
Winter wanted her, and Karina could tell.
"W-Winter... I...", Karina stuttered.
"B-But we... You are- my boss...", she continued.
Winter stand up as well, now facing Karina as her hands both holding Karina on her arms. Eyes looking at Karina deep, and Karina can't help but to feel butterflies in her stomach.
"I know. But I need you, more than anything. I've waited 3 years for someone like you, and finally I've found you. I don't want to let my chance go away just like that, and so Karina, will you be my girlfriend?"
And Winter just make her sway even more.
"Yes", Karina answered short, finally gave in and showing Winter the same smile that she did to her. Winter couldn't help but to feel overwhelmed by her answer, hugging Karina tightly into her embrace, also trying as hard as she can to not tear up in front of her now girlfriend.
"I did it mom..."
Winter slowly pulled away from the hug before cupping both her palms on Karina's cheeks. Her eyes were trailing on Karina's soft lips, and Karina did the same. Winter brushed her thumb on Karina's lower lips before slowly leaning in just to touch their foreheads and brushing their nose together.
"You'll tell me all your mysteries right...? I have so many questions in my head since the first time I met you...", Karina asked with her whisper-like deep voice. Winter slowly nod her head, exhaled her breath rough.
"I will, Rina", she answered.
"I will...", she whispered before finally crashing their lips together in a slow, but passionate, sweet, and deep kiss.

Karina ended her job earlier that day when Winter said that she can go straight home after that tiring 8 floor staircase marathon. Karina do agree that the running make her legs somehow jiggly and screaming in pain.
Karina go home by the NTYU car that day, for the first time in 10 years.
The next day when she came to work, she met Aeri by the lobby before her best friend suddenly displayed a playful knowing smirk towards her. They entered the elevator together. Karina scoffed before giving a light slap on Aeri's arm.
"Why are you looking at me like a freak?", Karina asked but the smirk never leave Aeri's face.
"Someone tell me she got a girlfriend yesterday~", Aeri answered and Karina tried to look somewhere else. She knew that her face was red at the moment.
"Oh god. Winter told you?"
"No. I'm not close with Miss Kim. Ningning told me", Aeri grin.
"Okay. Great. So Winter told Ningning and Ningning told you. Not a secret anymore, I guess", Karina face flushed. The elevator dings at the 4th floor, signing that Aeri need to go out but before she did, she don't forget to tease her best friend again.
"Glad that there's no one beside Ningning at the top floor. You can make any noise that you wanted~", Aeri said before finally signing off. Karina widening her eyes in shock with her friend's word.
"Aeri- You are crazy!"
Now it's officially three weird people in the company.

Karina was greeted by Ningning as soon as she landed her feet on the top floor, and it wasn't surprising anymore to see Ningning gave the same smirk to her like what Aeri did just now.
"You did it, Karina. You've succeeed", Ningning said.
"I didn't do anything", Karina answered back as she make her way towards the pantry, to her locker. Ningning followed right behind her before gave her a soft tap on her shoulder.
"You don't know Karina, but you did a lot. I can't help but feel thankful for everything you've done", Ningning smiled and Karina frowned. There it goes, Ningning and Winter keep playing with their secrets.
"You guys really kept lots of things from me, aren't you? I guess it's time for you to tell me what kind of sickness did Winter have. You said you'll tell me?", Karina turned her body towards Ningning. There's a lot of mysteries she wanted to unfold but both Ningning and Winter never say anything to her.
"I'll just say that it wasn't life threatening. It happens times to times, and you somehow was her lifesaver. I'll leave it to Winter for the explanation", Ningning smiled.
"But-", Karina want to protest but Ningning gave her a light pat on the shoulder before leaving her alone inside the pantry. Karina could only sigh, waiting for the secrets to uncover.
Karina can wait, and she don't mind to wait.
....
"Hi, Winter", Karina said as she enter Winter's office with her mop. Winter smiled happily before standing up from her seat and walking closer towards her girlfriend.
Oh god. How happy she is that now she can call Karina her girlfriend.
"Morning, Rina~", Winter wrapped her hands around Karina's waist before pulling her closer for a kiss. Karina gladly obeys but discomfort comes when they realized there's a mop between their touch.
"Can I... put this aside for a while? It's kinda get in our way", Winter scoffed, pointing at the mop before Karina just nodding her head agreeing, giggling a little.
Winter take hold of the mop from Karina's hand, only to realized that she's looking onto every detail of the mop. Winter don't want to admit it, but the mop really look fancy.
"The black top holder was made by silicone?", she asked and Karina nodded her head.
"Yup. And you can pull it out", Karina pulled out the black top holder before putting it back inside the mop rod.
"Are all these NTYU words made by gold? It looks fancy!", Winter exclaimed and Karina just sigh before nodding her head again.
"Kinda"
"And why did they painted the rod white-"
"Winter!", Karina finally snapped Winter from examining every detail on the mop. Winter lifted one of her eyebrows, looking at Karina in confusion and Karina letting out a heavy sigh before shaking her head in desbelief.
"I thought you said the mop is getting in our way?"
"Yeah~", Winter answered innocently.
"And don't you realize that now, you're the one who get in our way?", Karina said and Winter mouth formed into an O. She's right. Winter was too much into the mop.
"Ah. Sorry", Winter finally put the mop aside to the wall, trying to continue what they were doing just now and leaning closer to Karina again for another kiss, not until Karina took the mop from the wall and walk away from Winter's hold towards the center of the office.
"Rina, where are you going?", Winter pouted when she lost touch with her girlfriend.
"Mopping. Why?", Karina said before screeching the mop with the floor. Somehow the action makes Winter laughs. Winter came closer towards the older girl and gave Karina a gentle backhug. Her chin rest on Karina's shoulder, but Karina keep mopping the floor.
"Don't tell me you got jealous over a mop?"
"I am not!"
