Looking at her putting so much effort in picking her outfit, Fu Sinian's eyes were about to shoot fire.
Luckily after spending sometime in her closet, Yu Duo finally decided on a plain-looking little black dress.
Fu Sinian snickered. Alright, she wasn't a complete idiot after all!

"What? Madam, you are going to attend Mr. Yu's birthday banquet?" Aunty Lian looked up and down at the little black dress that Yu Duo was wearing. "Aiyo, my Madam, why do you look so plain? You didn't even have a necklace on. Why didn't you tell me beforehand? I could at least book a makeup artist. And your hair wasn't done up. No! No! You can't go looking like this. Hang on, let me get ahold of the makeup artist. And let me go pick another dress for you. This one is too plain looking!"

"No way! This is necessary!" said Aunty Lian as she picked up a necklace and earrings for her and modeled them one after another over her ears and neck.
