I held the container of condensed evil in my hand, remembering the first time my father ate it. A gate to a wing of Kryptarium Prison lifts up slowly.
"This is our new maximum-security wing. We spared no expense, I assure you." Noble told
"Very wise." I commented looking to all the security cameras
"Yep. The entire wing was built for one purpose... to hold the rottenest egg of all." He explained opening the door to my fathers cell. "Well... good luck." He runs off. "See you on the way out."
"Aren't you gonna—" The door slams shut and lasers scan. "Stay?" I pull a switch, and a pathway zooms out in front of me towards Garmadon's cell. "Hmm." I whisper making my way across the room and looking down to the darkness.
He was lounging on his bed and I finally reach his cell to see him smile and throw his magazine away. "Hello, Father."
"Well, well, if it isn't the Wind Ninja. To what, do I owe the honor?" He asked standing up to face me. "Your brother was just here seemed very panicked."
"Lloyd can handle himself and you sent for me, remember? You said it was urgent. I also brought you something to eat." I clicked a button opening up a small rectangle to which I then tossed the container to the floor.
"How kind." Garmadon remarked then chuckled like he knew something I didn't. "And did I? Hmm. That doesn't sound like me." He turns around slowly, expressing his carelessness. "I have all the time in the world in here."
"Fine." I turn around and start to walk away. "Then I guess I'll just—"
"Oh, yes." He turns towards me. "I remember now. I did call you. Do you remember the last time we saw each other? What I said?"
"You said something was coming." I recall
"Yes, but you didn't listen. And now, I'm afraid there isn't much time."
"Time for what?"
Garmadon smiles. "To prepare for the darkness, destruction. The end of Ninjago. And while I'm okay with that, in principle, I'd rather not be destroyed along with you, so I've decided to help you fight them."
"Fight who?" I ask watching his expression darken
"The Bringers of Doom. You and your color-coded little ninja are no match for them. There's only one thing powerful enough to stop them." My father told
"Bringers of Doom... I've heard that before." I mumble
Garmadon sighs. "Let me out, and you might have a chance."
"Hmm." I say bringing a hand up to my head. "How do I put this. No. N—O." I clarified even more putting my hand down. "Not if you were the last person in all of Ninjago. There is nothing you will say that will make me trust you ever again." I state walking away. "Goodbye."
"Hmm. You'll be back." Garmadon says with a smirk on his face
"I regret bringing you food! I will never ever do that again! But Cole said I should. So I did. BUT I WILL NOT DO IT AGAIN!" I yelled to him still making my way down the path
"Fine by me." Garmadon said with humor in his voice, I clench my hands into a fist purple flames forming. "How can someone be this annoying." I whisper exiting the cell prison
I took in breath trying to calm the anger in me. The purple disappeared slowly, you forgave him Y/n.

I returned back to the Monastery of Spinjitzu, seeing Jay practicing his Yin-Yang promise to Nya on Kai.
Jay stutters. "Nya? I've wanted to ask you this for... a... long time. Um, will you... be my Yang?" He holds up his Yin-Yang medallion.
"No, no, no. You can't ask like that." Kai dismissed
"Why not?" Jay asked
"You have to ask with confidence. Like this. Y/n come over here." Kai said pulling me in front of him. "Hey, Nya, how's it going?" He asked with a wink I felt like bursting out laughing but I kept my composure for Jay. "I've been thinking... you and me... we make a pretty good pair. So what do you say we make it official?" He slides around me, and grabs the Yin-Yang medallion, then spins into a proposal stance. "Will you be my Yang?"
I take the medallion and gasp happily. "Yes."
"See?" Kai pointed out to Jay
"Wait..." I trail off giving the medallion back to Jay. "No Kai." I state backing up to look at both of them. "And I feel like I have to point out, Cole's was way better then what Kai just did he gave me a cake."
"A burnt cake." Kai laughed shaking his head
"It's the thought that counts." I say with a smile turning my attention back to Jay
"I agree with Y/n, I can't ask like that. It doesn't feel right. It feels too... I don't know—cocky." Jay said
Dareth slides in through the doorway. "Who's cocky?"
"Nobody. Jay's trying to find the right way to ask Nya to be his Yang." Kai explained
"Seriously? You and Nya? Wow." Dareth breathed out
"Aw. Kai, do you mind?" Jay groaned
"Oh. Sorry." Kai replied
"It's supposed to be secret, so don't tell anyone." I add
"The Yin-Yang promise is a beautiful and sacred tradition, Jay. Congratulations. Ah! I'm so excited to be part of it. I-I am part of it, right?" Dareth asked
"Yes, Dareth." Jay responded
"If he ever asks Nya." I remark
Nya suddenly walks in. "Ask me what?"
Everyone gasps and Jay breaks out of his trance. "Um." He passes the medallion to Kai behind Dareth and me. "Ask you where you got that shirt—haha—because it's awesome. I want one."
I facepalm, feeling embarrassment for Jay. "It's a kimono, Jay. A traditional gown worn by women?" Nya said in confusion
"Uh, guys can wear them, too." Jay spoke looking around nervously hoping someone would back him up
"Yeah guys can totally can wear them." I added smiling to receive another confused look from Nya
"Ooh, I would look so good in a kimono." Dareth bragged sliding in beside them as Nya and Jay stare at each other.
"Uh, so, where's Master Wu?" Kai says changing the subject
"In the courtyard, supervising the new mural." Nya told
"Ooh, ooh, I wanna see." Dareth replied running out. Everyone walks over and gazes at the mural.
"Wow." I breathe out
"Will ya look at that." Kai smiled
"It is the history of Ninjago, a history in which all of you played a significant role." Master Wu explained
I started gazing at memories.
Season 7 painting: "Change anything, change everything."
Season 8 painting: "You want this city, Y/n? Then you can have it in ruins."
Season 6 painting: "Wish it all to go away."
Dareth runs to mural. "Where am I?" He runs around, looking at the paintings. "Where am I? I-I'm in here somewhere, right?"
"Oh, I'm sure you are." I assured
"Okay, I'll keep looking." He runs to the Season 8 painting. "Ooh, I think I see me. There's a brown spot here, and it looks just like me. Woohoo!"
Nya giggles at his actions, Kai walks toward pilot episodes mural. "What's that?"
"The Tornado of Creation. Don't you remember" I questioned and Jay chimes in. "We all came together and formed that—that bone-cage thingy."
"Oh yeah. Ha. Can't believe that worked." Kai chuckled
"Uh, except I don't remember it looking that impressive." I recall
"Yeah, Master Wu. Are you sure you want to commemorate this moment? I mean, we've had better ones." Kai pointed out
"It is a part of our history. When all hope seemed lost, you confronted destruction with creation." He balances his staff on his hand. "Balance was restored. That is the power of Spinjitzu, which we must always-" A vortex opens up above the Monastery.
"Huh?" A dragon flies out. "That looked like Firstbourne." Kai shouted
"Come on!" I yell as everyone runs down the steps. Wu reaches Firstbourne, comforting her. Firstbourne opens her talons and Faith falls out.
"Oh, my gosh. Faith!" Nya and Jay run up to her.
"Faith, what happened? Who did this?" Master Wu asks kneeling beside her, Faith whispers into his ear.
"What did she say?" I questioned
"She said... a darkness is coming." Master Wu informed with uncertainty in his face

The Destiny's Bounty is back. All ninja are waiting outside for news on Faith. Wu opens the door.
"How is she?" Lloyd speaks up
"Will she be okay?" Nya asked as I peeked through the door to see Misako lay a handkerchief on her head. Wu closes the door.
"I've given her a powerful healing potion. She will recover. As will Firstbourne, though it will take time." Master Wu told
"Did she say what happened?" Cole questioned walking closer to Master Wu
I watched as he made tea answering Cole's question. "She said... a darkness swept over the Realm of Oni and Dragon. She tried to resist it, but it grew and grew, consuming all in its path. Those who were touched by it were frozen where they stood like statues."
"I was at Kryptarium Prison, visiting my father. He said something similar. He said The darkness is coming." I stated as Master Wu passed tea to all of us
"Well, that's creepy." Jay commented waving his hand over the steam trying to blow it away.
"But what is it? What is the darkness?" Cole spoke up
Master Wu turns to me "What else did he say?"
"Something about The Bringers of Doom." I added on sipping some tea
"Bringers of doom." Master Wu muttered grabbing a book in the monastery, flips through pages. "There. That's it."
He turns the book to us all, showing a dark illustration.
"I don't like the look of that." Cole said slowly
"Oh. Me neither. What is it?" Kai asked
"It is an Oni." I replied watching everyone share conflicted faces
"My father called them the Bringers of Doom. He feared that they would one day spread out from their realm and cover all the lands of creation in darkness." Master Wu added
Jay laughs. "That's a crazy legend." He continues laughing. "Good thing it's just a legend, right?"
"Many legends begin in truth. And if there is any truth to this... we must prepare." Master Wu responded
"How?" Lloyd questioned
"We must warn Ninjago City. There isn't a moment to lose." Master Wu runs out and so do the other ninja but I stayed back staring at the page.
"The Bringers of Doom." I whisper examining the warning, I then quickly shut the page running out to join the others.
I jumped onto the bounty before it left the Monastery. "No way. Look at this thing." I could hear Kai say from the other room
"Wow." I breathed out examining the bounty it was identical like it was never destroyed.
"Huh. This looks just like the old Bounty." I say walking beside Cole and Jay who were playing with the buttons and switches.
"They did a wonderful job." Nya nodded in approval
"Let's see what she's capable of. Full speed ahead." Lloyd ordered Zane pulls up the switch, causing the thrusters to turn backwards. The ninja yell in surprise and Zane turns off the switch.
"What was that?" Nya replies
"Forwards, Zane. Not backwards." I remark gaining my balance back
Zane pulls off the sticker. "Someone must have wired the lever wrong." He puts the sticker down the right way and pulls down the lever. The Bounty speeds off.
"Uh, guys? I'm picking up a lot of distress calls on UHF." Zane informed
"We're too late." Cole said
"Maximum speed." Lloyd told
"Hold on, everyone." Nay hits a button making the rusters slowly power up. "Come on you, unhinged ship. Mmph!" Nya kicks the engine and the rusters boost up to its maximum speed.

Y/n, Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, and Lloyd slide down the ropes. "Oh, boy, are we glad to see you guys." The commissioner smiled
"Commissioner, get your officers out of here." Lloyd stated passing them the ladder. "You heard him. Move it." Policemen and Commissioner climb the ladder.
"Okay, let's see what this is made of. Care to do the honors, Jay?" Lloyd asked as Jay laughed hyped up. "My pleasure. Lightning." He strikes lightning at the darkness. But the Darkness absorbs the lightning.
"Uh, heh. Let's see how it likes fire. Fire." Kai strikes the darkness with fire. But it absorbs the fire. "What?"
"Okay, everybody at the same time." Lloyd encouraged
Y/n, Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, and Lloyd: "Nin-ja-go." Everyone strikes the darkness with their powers. But the darkness absorbs all the powers.
"Our elemental powers appear to be ineffective." Zane pointed out
"Yeah, no kidding." Kai remarked
"What do we do?" I ask slowly as it draws closer
"Nya, get us out of here." Lloyd spoke
"You got it." Nya said as all the ninja climb up the ropes and ladder, with Cole being last on his rope.
"Wha—ah. Uh, guys. Help. It's got me." Cole yelled as I looked down to see the the Darkness dragging him down. "Ahh!" Cole cried out falling to the ground. I quickly let go of my rope and jump down towards Cole. I pull out my sword in midair then cut the darkness and hear something roar in pain. "Come on, Cole. Time to get out of here." I help him up guiding him to the rope
"Reel us in. Quick." I yell as P.I.X.A.L. and Nya help me and Cole up. "We need to go save some more people." Lloyd spoke
As Jay hands someone tea. "Here. Drink this. It's good for you."
I stood beside Cole who was sitting down, he was shaking in fear I have never seen him like this before I put my hand on his shoulder to feel he was cold to the touch. "Cole your freezing let me get you some tea!" I say quickly
"No just please stay here." Cole whispered out sounding completely drained of energy
"Ok." I said sitting beside him putting my hand intertwined with his. He leaned next to me laying his head on my shoulder.
At that moment I knew where I had to go.
