Irene's POV
"Hinatak mo na naman ako eh may ginagawa ako Greggy!" I whined as he pull me to his office.
"You were just playing with the company's laptop love" he said.
I found a game kasi in their laptop and I enjoyed it very well. Tapos bigla na lang manghahatak ito. Naiwan ko tuloy yung nilalaro ko, baka matalo yun!
"Come with me muna. This is important"
When we finally reached his floor, Josh smiled and greeted me so I smiled back.
My mouth then fell open when he opened the door. I let out a loud gasp.
Oh my god!
"Hoy!" Greggy uttered. "Ginagawa niyong motel itong opisina ko" he protected me behind him, making sure I won't see them, but it was too late.
What the hell did I just saw! I can not believe this.
It was Zackarie and Xylyx, making out in Greggy's office!
"Oh," Xylyx chuckled. "Sorry. You guys are here na pala"
Zack just smiled and put his arm on her shoulder. He then waved at me.
Hindi pa ako nakaget-over kaya dahan-dahan kong inangat ang kamay ko at kumaway pabalik. Natawa naman sila sa reaksiyon ko.
Greggy made me sit on his swivel chair and he just stood beside me. "Kailangan mo ng tubig?" he chuckled.
"Yes please" I answered.
He reached for his water bottle, opened it and gave it to me. "Thank you" I told him when I was done.
May sarili na namang mundo ang dalawa nang tingnan ko sila.
"Sila?" I whispered to Greggy. Hindi matatahimik ang buhay ko hangga't di ko naitatanong ito.
"They're already engaged" he uttered. Patuloy pa ring natatawa.

Ako na lang ba ang hindi nakaka-alam dito?
I thought they were just friends. Hindi ko naman kasi binibigyan ng meaning ang closeness nila noong sinundo nila kami sa Palawan. Akala ko normal lang iyon sa kanila!

Suddenly, the door opened and two gentlemen came in. Napa-ayos tuloy agad ako ng upo.
"You wanted to see us?" Tito Luisito. Nagulat pa siya nang makita kami. "Oh, you guys are here"
Xylyx stood up and went to the other man. She hugged him and kissed his cheeks. "Hi Dad" she greeted.

"What do you want to say? Tell it now Greg, may meeting pa tayo" kinilabutan ako sa higpit ng tinig ni Tito Luisito.
"Get us out from that engagement" diretsang sabi ni Greggy.

"I'm begging you Dad" he added.
I gulped when Tito Luisito looked at me.

"Xylyx and I can't get married" he speaks again. "Dad you know my reason from the very beginning. Tito Ysmael, I'm sorry, but I hope you understand."
Nabalot ng katahimikan ang opisina ni Greggy, until Xylyx decided to break it.
"I'm pregnant" she announced so we all looked at her. "And I'm going to marry the father of my unborn child. So Dad please..." he held Zackarie's hands.
"Y-you're pregnant?" halata ang gulat sa mukha ng ama niya. "I'm gonna be a lolo?" he exclaimed. He suddenly became so happy.
We gave them time to talk, just the three of them. While us, we were just silently watching them.
"Wala naman talagang kasalan na mangyayari" Tito Luisito decided to break our silence.
Greggy looked at him. "What?"
"Ysmael asked for help and the only solution to his problem that we can see is giving our name to them, for a short period of time. I don't want to agree at first since I don't want to trap you into a marriage again... just like what I did before. And bilang pagtanaw ng utang na loob na din, they helped us before when we were down" his dad explained.
"We were supposed to tell you next week about this but, naunahan niyo na kami" Tito Ysmael chuckled. "I need to thank you hijo for agreeing on this. You became such a big help in our business."
Greggy couldn't believe what he heard, well neither am I.
"Dad? Why didn't you tell me that it was all fake?" he asked.
"I just want to" his dad smirked. Obviously making fun of his son.
"I can't believe you." he hissed.
"Kaya nga walang singsing 'di ba? You already got a pretty ring on your finger" Tito Luisito pointed our fingers. "You don't know how hard to stop your Mom from telling this secret to you, alam mo naman 'yon."
"Mom knows about this too? Oh god, unbelievable"
"Alright, we need to head out. Yun lang ba ang sasabihin mo? We'll be going to the conference room for the meeting, sumunod ka na lang mamaya" he and Tito Ysmael then went out. He pat my shoulders before he left.
"Phew, para akong nabunutan ng tinik" huminga ng malalim si Xylyx.
"You're really pregnant babe?" Zack asked her.
Oh, he didn't know too.
"Do I look like someone who would joke about pregnancy?" she raised her eyeberow.
Zack then brought all his happiness out. Mukhang kanina pa niya gustong-gusto na sumabog pero nagpipigil dahil sa Daddy ni Xylyx.
"Ako na ang bahala na mag-sabi sa publiko. Leave it all to me. I'll make sure they won't attack you two with negative comments" Xylyx told us.
"Nag-kabalikan na ba kayo?" she then asked that surprised us. "Tell me when you did huh, I'll be the first person to celebrate" she giggled.
Napapa-iling na lang si Greggy sa kanya. Few minutes later, they decided to leave.
"You okay?" I asked Greggy when I saw him staring blankly at the floor.
"Yeah. I just can't believe it was fake... but hey, I'm not disappointed or what. I am so glad and happy" he said. "Finally" he held my hands.
I smiled warmly. I pulled him to a tight hug.
"Your dad was a bit intimidating. Nakakatakot yung aura niya" I said. "Akala ko nga kanina sasabihan niya ako ng 'Sampung milyon, layuan mo ang anak ko'" I chuckled.
"Kapag nangyari yon, don't accept it. Sampung milyon lang? Ako na lang magbibigay sa'yo nun, dagdagan ko pa" he smirked.
Pero paano kung nangyari nga, tatanggapin ko kaya?
Baka hindi rin. Baka nga ako ang magbigay ng sampung milyon sa Daddy niya, basta layuan niya kami ng anak niya.

"Don't you have a meeting to attend to? Go now" I told him.

The place was silent as I fix his tie.

He went to his room. Probably to get something. But before he step inside, he looked back at me. "Red is a lovely color. It really suits you" was all he said before he went inside.
What he said made me so confuse. I don't get it.
But then I saw my reflection through the glass wall. My blouse was a little unbuttoned. Damn!
I glared at him when he stepped out of the room. He has this wide grin on his face.

I didn't go to work the next following days. I'm not sick or anything, I just don't feel like working.

It was already five in the afternoon and I decided to buy something outside. Palabas na sana ang sasakyan ko pero napadaan ako sa parking lot ng kabilang building.
I saw someone.
"Pst, pogi" I caught his attention. He just went out of his car, obviously he just came from work.

"Hey! May pupuntahan ako" I said.

I rolled my eyes. "Pagkain"
"Oh, you didn't tell me you're hungry. Let's go get food for my love then"
I didn't say anything and started to drive. "You made our baby look even cooler" he uttered again.

"Si Maria" he touched the car. "Ang dami pala nating baby, why don't we make a real one?"
I immediately stepped on the gas.

"Sisipain kita palabas kapag hindi ka tumigil" banta ko sa kanya.

He bought me foods, he said it was his peace offering. Sumama pa siya pabalik sa condo ko.

I just looked at him and focused on my phone.
"Huwag ka ngang tumingin. Sa tv ka manood, 'wag sa'kin!" I glared at my brother when I noticed that he was still looking at me.
"Pangit mo kiligin" he said and returned his gaze back to the television.

Irene:
Corny mo! Do your work na mister. Ang landi mo na naman.

Greggy:
Working na po, Boss Love! Will make you landi again later. I love you! 😉
I smiled and put my phone away. I didn't bother to reply anymore kasi hahaba na naman ang usapan namin.
I snatched the remote from my brother and changed what he was watching.
"Makipagtext ka na lang kay Greggy, nanonood ako, Irene naman. Isusumbong kita kay Mommy!" he said.
Ang pikon! Tapos kapag ako ang pinagtripan, siya pa galit kapag napipikon na ako!
"Mature mo naman Bongbong" I scoffed.
"Shut up. Give the remote back and go upstairs. Sila Ime ang guluhin mo, 'wag ako" pagtataboy niya sa'kin.
I rolled my eyes and stood up. Carrying my phone with me and one of the remote's battery na pasimple kong tinanggal while he wasn't looking, I walked away from him.
"Sungit. Mabangga sana hinliliit mo sa cabinet" I uttered as I go upstairs.
"Irene! What did you do to the remote!" dinig kong sigaw niya kasunod sa pagpukpok niya nito sa mesa.
I ran fastly to my room and immediately locked it.
Ayaw mo magpanood ha, bahala kang manood diyan. Tingnan lang natin kung mapapalitan mo pa channel niyan.
Good thing hindi niya alam kung saan nakatago ang mga reserbang battery.

I stopped my work when I heard my phone rang. Oh, my love is calling.
"Yes love? Are you done preparing now?"
"Yeah. I just called to check up on you. Paano, mauuna na lang ako sa party? Matagal ka ba diyan?" Ah, her voice is very pleasing.
"Susunod ako. I just need to finish something important, mabilis na lang to. I'm sorry I can't fetch you. Sabay na lang tayong uuwi mamaya, promise." I answered.
"It's okay, I understand. I need to go so you can finish that immediately."
"Alright, see you at the party."
"Hmm-mm, see you. Ang pag-drive ha, mag-ingat ka" she said.
"Opo." I uttered then she ended the call.
We are both invited to a party but because I still have things to do, she'll go first.
I checked my social media account first to check Xylyx's post. She already revealed her relationship with Zackarie and told everyone that our engagement was just fake. She even posted a photo of the four of us.
I smiled while reading the comments.

I grabbed my coat and head out right after I'm done. When I arrived, I went inside and looked for her.

As I was browsing photos in my camera, I saw pictures of us during our monthsaries. It was a treasure that I kept.

I wanted to laugh when they didn't obey what he said. Napasunod niya lang ang lima nang naglakad siya papunta sa kama ko.
My babies jump on my bed and started wagging their tails. I didn't miss anyone when I started petting them.
"Alright, baba na. It's my turn, come on." he uttered. Aagawan pa ng eksena ang mga aso.
"How's your sleep, hmm?" he buried his face on my neck.
"Okay lang. But I'm so hungry"
"What do you want? Well, aside from me" he said that made me roll my eyes.
Mas malakas pa hangin mo kaysa sa mga windmill sa Ilocos.
"Anong pagkain sa baba?" I asked.
"Oh, I brought custard cake nga pala kaninang dumating ako. Do you want that?" he said.
I just pulled him and went downstairs to eat. Magluluto pa pala ako mamaya.

Nag-isip siya ng kaunti hanggang sa maalala na niya.

He sighed. "Okay, here it goes" he faced me and held my hands. Then, I heard those words from his mouth again.
"I won't ask 'can you be my girlfriend', but instead, I want to ask, 'can I be your man'?"
My lips automatically curved a smile. I stared at his eyes for a while before calling my dogs.
Bumitaw ako sa pagkaka-hawak niya at tinawag sila isa-isa. They came to me wagging their tails.
"What's happening love?" nag-aalalang tanong ni Greggy. "I told you, hindi ko na lang sana inulit yon baka--"
He stopped talking when he noticed the dogs' collars.

"Yes?" he read them and looked at me.
I smiled and reached for his hands.

"Do I look like I'm kidding?" I chuckled.

"Calm down. Marinig ka nila" I was almost laughing.
"Wala nang bawian ha. Hindi to playtime or what" he said again.
"Hindi nga" I slightly punched his chest.
He then pulled me up and sealed this night with a kiss.
Just like few years ago, same day, under the moonlight and the night sky that is full of stars.
"Kumalma ka, nasa labas tayo. My siblings might see us"
"Sorry, just got too excited" he grinned.
I leaned my head on his shoulder and looked up in the sky.

Afterwards, we decided to go to my room and prepare to sleep. It's already late. Buti na lang nasa taas na ang mga kapatid ko nang makapasok kami.
"Go change. I'll wait for you here" I said and jumped on my bed.

I looked at the clock and it's already twenty past six in the evening. I wore a puff sleeve midi dress and paired it with heels.
When I got satisfied with my look, I opened the door and the first thing I saw was Greggy, holding my handbag on his shoulder.
"Pogi naman ng date ko" I muttered under my breath.
He eyed me from head to toe. "Does it get tiring?"
Huh? "What?"
"Being the most beautiful girl on earth?" he added.
"Stop your pambobolas, let's go" I pulled him outside. He keeps on chuckling.
"Mom, we're leaving" paalam ko kay Mommy.
"Gregorio huwag mong itatakbo ang ading ko ha" banta ni Manang Imee.
"Isauli mo nang buo 'yan" Bongbong also said.
Ano ba itong mga kapatid ko, nakakahiya!
Mommy just chuckled then she looked at Greggy and I. "What time will you come home"
Ayan na naman tayo sa hindi pa nakaka-alis, tatanungin na ang oras ng uwi.
"I will take her home by ten, Tita. Buong-buo" he grinned.
"Alright. You better get going, baka matraffic kayo"
"Bye Mommy" I kissed her cheek.
"Bye Mommy" Greggy mimicked me. He then pulled my hand and we walked to his car.
"Mommy ka diyan. Nakiki-mommy ka" I slightly punched his arms.
"Doon din naman yun papunta love, ina-advance ko lang" he grinned.
I went inside the passenger's seat when he opened the door.
We stopped by a skydeck restaurant near his company. Looks like he rented the whole place, walang ibang tao, kami lang.
They served our food and they started playing us mellow songs.
"Have I told you you're beautiful love?" he asked while we were eating.
"I lost count already. Tama na,naflu-flutter na ako masiyado" I chuckled. "Try this one love" I circled my fork through the mushroom pasta and put it in his mouth. "It's good right?"
"It is. Are you having fun?"
"Of course." Bakit naman hindi eh ikaw ang kasama ko.
We decided to see the citylights after we ate. We are at the top floor so we can clearly see the city lights from here.
"You see that Araneta sign over there?" he pointed the sign of his company, kitang-kita kasi malapit lang kami doon.
"Hmm?"
"That will be your surname" he held my hand tightly.
I bit my lower lip to stop myself from smiling. "Okay lang kiligin" he teased me so I decided to tease him back.
"But I prefer my current surname" I smirked when he raised his eyebrow at me.
"Trust me love, your name sounds good right now but it will sound better with my surname on it." He smirked too.

Moments later, we went to his car to head home. Mukhang uulan na kasi.
We are now driving down the street. His right hand is resting on my lap.
"What are you doing?" I looked at him when he suddenly started slowing down the car.
"Let's go, it's raining" he's smiling.
"Exactly! So start the car and let's go home. An--" He ignored me and unbuckled his seatbelt and went out of the car. "Hoy, Gregorio!" I shouted but he was already under the rain.

He ran towards my door and opened it. He's smiling from ear to ear as he extend his hand,"Come" he said.
"No, it's raining" I replied.
"Let's do what they're doing in the movies. Kiss me under the rain love, please" he gently pulled my hand.
"What?" I started laughing.
"Seryoso nga. Sige na love" he pouted.
Oh lord, please don't make that face.
Wala na akong nagawa nang kalasin niya ang seatbelt ko.
The rain is pouring on the both of us. He's holding my hands tightly, refusing to let go.
He then put my hands on his shoulder as he face me. He put a stand of my hair behind my ear then put his hands on my waist. He then started to hum and sway me.
This is crazy... but romantic indeed.
He smiled when I cupped his face and slowly leaned towards him. He was just staring directly at my eyes.
I closed my eyes the moment my lips met his. He was right, the kiss was so perfect... just like in the movies.
So this is how it feels like.
We had fun under the rain and decided to go back inside the car afterwards.
"Aren't you taking me home love?" I furrowed my eyebrows when I noticed that we're not taking the way back to the mansion.
"I will take you home." He then grinned, "I didn't say which home though"
"We're here" aniya.

"Mommy is expecting me at the mansion Gregorio" reklamo ko.
"Relax" he chuckled. "We'll just dry our clothes, pagagalitan ako kapag nalaman nilang naligo ka sa ulan"

"Anything to make my love happy. You enjoyed it naman" turo niya sa'kin.

"Mauna ka na sa shower, ako na ang bahala sa mga damit mo" he said.
I obediently did what he said. Naligo ako saglit at lumabas suot ang isa pa niyang robe. He's also wearing his robe while drying our clothes.
"Can't we just use another clothes love?" I pouted as I hug him sideways.
"Mag-tataka sila bakit iba na suot natin love. They'll ask questions, ikaw kung gusto mong sagutin lahat ng tanong nila, okay lang naman sa'kin" he chuckled.
Yeah, right.
I looked at the clock and we only have an hour left before the clock will striked at ten.
"Mabilis na lang to, go dry your hair" utos na naman niya sakin.
"Can you dry it for me?" I leaned closer to him which made him smile.
"Let's go then" he said.
He was stunned when I made him sit while I sat on his lap. "Oh, okay" he whispered. He then started drying my hair.
I stared at him while he's doing my hair. I looked at his eyes, then to his lips and back to his eyes again.
He's so focused on what he's doing that he didn't noticed that I was leaning in for a kiss. I heard he turned the hair dryer off and pulled my head closer to him.
I chuckled secretly when he gripped my waist. My hand was resting at the back of his head.
When I pulled away, he pouted. I just smirked and fished my phone out.
Nang matapos na niya ang pagpapatuyo sa buhok ko, tinanggal niyo ito sa saksakan at inilapag sa mesa. He then pulled me closer to hug me tighter.
"Love, stop breathing on my neck. Nakikiliti ako" I told him when he keeps on inhaling and licking my neck.
I browsed photos and videos on my phone. I giggled when I played a video.
"What are you laughing at? Can I see?"he asked, confused.
I quickly hid my phone behind me and faced him. I smiled widely and shook my head.
"What is it love?" he asked again.
"Nothing! I swear" hagikgik ko.
I immediately get off him and started running away, he was chasing me.
"Gregorio stop it!" I uttered while running.
Anong laban ko dito eh ang laki niyang tao!
He finally caught me as he hugged me from behind. "Gotcha. Show me please" he whispered on my ear that made me shiver.
"F-fine" nanghihinang sagot ko.
I unlocked my phone and played the video. I can't help but to laugh even though I already watched it for a lot of times.
"What the?! When was that? Ako ba talaga yan?" he exclaimed.
I grinned. "Yes love. When we were in Palawan"
It was a video of him, drunk, and laying down beside me on bed. He keeps saying how much he loves me, and mumbling a lot of 'i love yous'.
Parang noong nalasing noong team building ng kompanya. Ang kaibahan lang, he didn't recognized that it was me before pero yung video niya ngayon, he was talking to me as if hindi ko alam kung gaano niya ako kamahal.
"It was when I asked you to drink pero pabibo ka, inubos mo yung alak"
"Really?" he scratched his head. "Delete it love, para akong tanga diyan"
"No! Ang cute mo kaya dito" I grinned even more. "Now go check our clothes so we can go home already. Anong oras na oh, ten p.m pa naman ang sinabi mo"
"Yes love" he even gave me a salute. Siraulo talaga.
"Here" he gave it to me when he came back. I eyed him and he was already clothed.
"Thanks. Excuse me, magpapalit na ako" I uttered. He was blocking my way.
"Don't bother going to the bathroom, dito ka na lang mag-palit." He smirked.
"Ayoko! Greggy alis na kasi!" I whined as I push him but he's too strong.
"The clock is ticking love, maga-alas dyis na."
"Kaya nga umalis ka na dahil dadaan ako!"
"Do you want me to dress you? Kanina ka pa sana bihis" his smirked grew bigger.

I sighed, taking my defeat. Lumamlam ang mukha niya nang makita ang itsura ko. He then kissed my forehead. "Sige na love. Promise I'll behave."
"Siguraduhin mo lang dahil talagang tatamaan ka sa'kin Gregorio" I told him.
Dali-dali kong tinanggal ang robe ko at nagbihis. I saw how he bit his lips, holding back. Ginusto mo yan, panindigan mo.
"All done" I said when I'm finished.
"Alright let's go" he held my hand and we went our way to his car.
There was a light traffic but we got out immediately and arrived at home in time.
"Nine fifty nine" he chuckled when he opened the door for me and unbuckled my seatbelt.
He gave his keys to the driver so he can park it properly.
Saktong ten p.m nang maka-tapak kami sa sala. Just like what I expexted, they waited for us. They were all in the sala, watching a, I think horror movie. Well except for the kids of course.
"Wow, alas dyis nga" Bonget uttered and smiled.
"Buo pa naman Bonget, wala tayong dapat ika-takot" Manang Imee.
"How was your night?" My mom asked and I gave her a sweet smile, she immediately gets it. "Go change your clothes na, come join us here if you want."
I nodded and went upstairs, Greggy is behind me.

Napailing ako sa reply niya. I put my phone away and hugged my knees while laying dow. Ang sakit na nga ng ulo ko ang sakit pa ng puson ko!
I closed my eyes, trying to sleep. Hopefully, the paim will go away once I wake up.

"Ah, shit!" I shouted in pain while I hold my abdomen. I've been crying because of the excruciating pain.
Akala ko naman mawawala na yung sakit paggising ko pero yung sakit mismo ang gumising sa'kin.
I reached my phone again and saw that it's alreay two in the afternoon. Di ako nakapag-lunch. I also saw bunch of text messages and missed calls from Greggy.
I immediately dialled his number, gladly, he answered agad.
"What happened love? Kanina pa kita kino-contact, hindi ka sumasagot. Have you eaten your lunch? May nangyari ba? Do you need anything?" bumungad ang sunod-sunod niyang tanong.
Woah, calm down, will you.
I sniffed and cried again.
"Love? What's wrong? Whay are you crying? You're making me worried" bakas ang pag-aalala sa tinig niya.
"Ang sakit ng puson ko love. Sobrang sakit na niya" tila batang pagsusumbong ko, naiiyak pa rin.
"Oh geez." He said. "Okay ganito na lang, elevate your feet and use a hot compress love... Ay, kaya mo bang tumayo?"
"N-no. It hurts so much. Come here love, I want you here please, I need you."
"Alright. I'll be there in five. Hopefully walang traffic. Bye love, I'll see you" He uttered before ending the line.
I threw my phone and wiped my tears. I tried elevating my feet. Nung una, wala namang nangyayari pero habang tumatagal, nababawasan ang sakit. Pero ewan ko bakit naiiyak pa rin ako.
Maya-maya pa, bumukas ang pinto ng kwarto ko. Akala ko naman kung sino, ang boyfriend ko lang pala.
"Here, I prepared the hot compress" he said. Kanina pa pala siya dito?
"I also bought you foods. Pero I decided na bukas na lang bilhin mga kine-crave mo dahil alam kong wala kang ganang kumain ngayon dahil sa puson mo. I also bought extra pads and tampons, just incase you ran out of stock. I don't know which one do you prefef so I bought both of them na lang." mahabang paliwanang niya.
"Do you want to eat? Or mamaya na?" he asked.
"Later love"
"Alright, tell me beforehand so I can reheat it." he kissed my forehead.
He cuddled me until I fell asleep again. His embrace feels so safe and warm.

"How are you love?" Greggy asked me when I gave him a back hug. He was nowhere to be found in my room when I woke up so I looked for him and he's cooking here in the kitchen.
"I'm fine now love. Thank you" I answered.
"Thank me with a kiss" he turned around and grinned.

I tiptoed and gave him a peck on the lips but he pulled me closer and kissed me passionately. I held a grip of his shirt when I couldn't breathe anymore.
"Sarap!" he exclaimed when I pulled away.
I jokingly rolled my eyes and check what he's cooking.
"Nag-search ako online kung anong pwede mong kainin kapag meron ka." Pagmamalaki niya.
"But I have a great idea para hindi sumakit ang puson mo" he grinned. "Nine months yun love, hindi ka dadatnan ng nine months"
Matutuwa na sana ako sa sinabi mo sa umpisa eh.
"Shut up Gregorio. Baka masipa kita palabas"
"Magbe-behave na love" he bit his lower lip to supress his smiles.
"Pakainin mo na ako, gutom na ako"
"P-pakainin?"
"'Di ba you cooked?" I looked at him.
"Oh, r-right" he scratched the back of his head. Ayan napapala mo, iba kasi iniisip mo.

Days had passed and I stayed in my condo. Hindi na ako masiyadong pumupunta sa trabaho dahil okay lang naman daw sabi ng boss, ang boyfriend ko.
It's already past six in the evening and I'm still reading the book I started earlier, my book is leaning against the headboard of my bed.
Suddenly, I heard the door opened. I know it's Greggy since I gave him a spare key. And I was right, he came to my room immediately.
I was surprised when he laid on top of me. He sighed heavily and wrapped his arms around my waist and he kissed my neck that caused me to stop reading.
"Hmm? What's wrong love?" I asked.
"Nothing. Just got tired from work, ang daming pinagawa sa'kin" pagsusumbong niya. "Masakit pa ba ang puson mo?"
"No na."
"That's good"
"Can you play with my hair love? I wanna fall asleep please" he spoke, burying his face on my neck.
I chuckled on his acts and start stroking his hair. After a few minutes, he was already sleeping like a little baby, as I hear his soft snores.
I continued reading the book while I play with his hair. He's heavy but he's making sure that I won't get hurt.

"Greg, wake up, I'm hungry" I slightly tapped his cheek.
He fluttered his eyes open and looked at me. "Sorry, napasarap tulog ko" bumangon siya. "What do you want? I'll cook"
"No, ako na. You're tired right?"
"I'm good now. Effective kung saan ako natulog eh" he grinned. "Masarap talaga matulog kapag ganyan ang unan" nginuso niya ang dibdib ko.
I raised my eyebrow. "Mag-luto ka na kung mag-luluto ka. Cook anything you want. I'm so hungry na talaga"
"Sure love. Pakiss ako, pang-motivate lang" he said and lean towards me.
Daming alam, magluluto na nga lang.
I fixed my bed as soon as he went to the kitchen. I also charged my phone before I followed him.
I sat on the island counter as I watch him cook. When I got bored, I called him. "Can I borrow your phone? I'm bored"
"Of course you can" he gave it to me. "You know my password, I didn't change it"
I smiled and grinned when I saw my photo on his lockscreen and our photo in his homescreen. I installed a game and played. When I got bored again, I explored his phone. Matagal kong hindi nahawakan 'to.
I opened his album, bumungad sa'kin ang picture naming dalawa at mga pictures ko, kadalasan ay stolen shots. You can ask me for a decent picture, you know.
Awtomatikong tumaas ang kilay ko nang may makita akong mukha na hindi ko kilala. "Who's this?" agad kong tanong.
"Patingin" he went to me. Nanlaki ang mata niya nang makita ang picture. "Love I'll explain..." he gulped.
It's a photo of him when he was, I think college? He was with woman beside him, looking so sweet together. May heart pa sa gitna.
"Cute niyo" I commented.
"It's not what you think, love" he looks so nervous. "You see, I forgot to delete those. I didn't know na automatic na nasa-save sa phone ko ang mga sinesend sa'kin na pictures. They sent that in our batch's groupchat, swipe mo may group photos kami diyan" he said but I didn't move. Nanatili ang titig ko sa kaniya.
"So matagal na 'to sa phone mo?"
"M-medyo. Ide-delete ko naman talaga love, nakakalimutan ko lang talaga." he answered.
"Sweet niyo oh, magka-akbay na nga, magka-hawak pa ng kamay. How romantic. Bakit di mo gawing wallpaper? May heart pa siya oh" I zoomed in the picture. "Sino 'to, ex mo?"
Unti-unti siyang tumango. "Hindi ako ang nag-edit niyan love, please don't be mad" he went closer to me but I ignored him.
Not gonna lie, his ex is pretty. May taste.
But I'm prettier, that's for sure.
"Oh, phone mo. That photo will look good as your homescreen" I gave him his phone.
He tapped his screen and he faced me. "I already deleted it love, look oh" he showed me an empty album. Dinelete niya lahat ng nareceive niyang photos.
"Siyempre nakita ko na eh" I scoffed.
"L-love..." he tried to reach my hand but I moved away. "Wala kang dapat isipin because she's already married."
"Updated ka ha" I said.
"Kase she and her husband invited me pero hindi ako nakapunta noon. I swear love"
"Yung niluluto mo, bantayan mo" I said and went to my room. I used my phone while waiting for the food.
After a moment, he went inside my room. "Kain na love, the food is ready. Bati na tayo please"
I ignored him and stood up, head out to the kitchen.
He pulled a chair for me but I sat on the other chair. I heard him sigh.
Nagsimula kaming kumain pero nanatili akong tahimik. He keeps on talking but I refused to talk. Siya rin ang napagod kaya nanahimik na din siya.
I'm not mad at him. I am just delighted to let him suffer for a little longer. Nagtampo lang ako ng slight kanina pero hindi naman ako galit.
I'm not dumb to get jealous in every little things. Gusto ko lang siyang pag-tripan ngayon.
When I'm done eating, I stood up and bring my plate on the sink. I am leaning on the sink while drinking a glass of water.
I heard his footsteps getting closer and I felt he layed his forehead on my shoulder. I moved away from him.
"Get lost Gregorio" I uttered but he still followed me.
He grabbed the sink from both sides, locking me in between his veiny hands.
I gulped, composing myself together. 'Calm down Irene!' I told myself.
He held my waist, gently turning me around, facing him. He then rest his arms back on the sink, he looked me directly in the eye. "Get lost, huh?" he said in a low voice.
I avoided his gaze, turning my head on the left but he held my chin, making me face him again.
"When I'm talking to you love, look me in the eye" he said.
"Get away fro--"
"Shut that pretty mouth of yours" he shushed me.

I smirked and leaned closer to him. "Make me" I whispered, right before his lips.
He didn't waste any moment and immediately crashed his lips on mine. He kissed me amorously. He even lifted me up on the sink without pulling away.
"Uhmm" a moan escaped from my mouth.
He was about to lick my neck when someone rang the doorbell on my main door.
"Go check it" I told him.
He groaned and pouted before leaving me. I fixed myself before following him.
"Really? How old are you then?" dinig kong magiliw na tanong ni Greggy sa kausap.
"Sino yan, love?" I asked when I reached the door. He opened it widely and I saw a little girl wearing a party hat and carrying a tupper ware, and a balloon tied to her hand.
"Hello po!" she greeted politely and waved her hands. "It's my birthday po today, sorry if we didn't invite you to our house, but here" she gave the tupperware. "I saw you po pala yesterday, you're so pretty po"
Oh, she's the daughter of my new neighbor. They live below my condo. I met them once, the couple, this kid and her lola.
"Ang bata hindi nagsi-sinungaling" Greggy whispered to me.
"By the way I am seven na po. And I got this balloon for you. Iisa na lang po kasi nag-uwi ng balloons ang mga classmates and playmates ko po kanina" she bubbly said.
Greggy happily took the balloon. "Thank you Zahara!" parang batang aniya.
Right, her name is Zahara.
"Happy Birthday!" I greeted her.
She grinned widely. "Thank you so much po!"
I don't know what pushed me but I hugged her, while Greggy pat her head when she left.
"She's so adorable" I said while I close the door.
He agreed. "I'll tie this on your bed ha" he showed me the balloon.
Hindi pa ako nakakasagot nang umalis na siya. I followed him and saw him tying it on my side. "Kapag talaga yan biglang pumutok sinasabi ko sa'yo ha."
"Hindi yan" he grinned and went to me. "Aren't we going to continue what we started earlier?" parang pusa na lumapit sa'kin.
"I'm going to wash the dishes" I said and walked away, secretly grinning.
"Later love?" he shouted but I didn't answer.
"Go to sleep, itulog mo na lang yan" I shouted back. I turned around and he's already at the door, slightly glaring at me. "Mauna ka na sa kwarto, susunod ako, mabilis lang 'to, promise" I told him.
Good thing he already did what I said. I washed the dishes as fast as I could.
When I went to my room, I found him on my bed, peacefully sleeping while hugging my pillow.
'Ta mo, sabi na antok lang yan.
I fixed him on bed and covered him with the comforter and increased the temperature of the aircon.
I placed a light kiss on his head and nose before I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth.
I continued reading the book when I locked and checked everything in my condo. Same position, my back leaning on the headboard of the bed.
He suddenly hugged me very tightly, still sleeping and muttered words I couldn't get.
There he goes again with his sleep talking.
I ignored it and continued the book but what he was saying became clear.
"No, no, no" there was a hinch of panic on his voice. "Don't go away love please. Don't leave me, stay here Irene" he was like a kid, whining, hugging me tighter.
"Hey," I uttered softly, rubbing his back. "I'm here love. I'm not going anywhere, I promise" I bent down and kissed his cheeks.
He slowly started to calm down. Mas isiniksik niya ang katawan niya sa'kin. Tila takot mahiwalay.
"Good night my love" I said before putting the book away and turning of my lamp.

They followed me when I walked away. The senior architects and some juniors. Nagpa-iwan ang mga interns.

As soon as they all stepped inside the elevator, I pressed his floor.
"Miss Irene, it's okay, we're okay. We'll do na lang po our works better" Polaris uttered, worried that their boss will be mad at them.

I didn't speak until the door opened. Josh looked shocked when he saw us. "Is he busy?"
"Good afternoon po Miss Irene, boss is inside po, and hindi po siya busy" Josh said.
I opened the door and Greggy looked surprised when he saw me.
"Oh, you--" he didn't finish his sentence when he saw them behind me. "What's going on? May problema ba?"
"You! You're my problem!" I pointed him. "You keep on giving your employees a hard time. Ano itong nababalitaan ko na dine-decline mo yung mga pinapasa nila sa'yo? God! Ang tagal na nun, bakit ayaw mong tanggapin, their designs are perfect, ano ka ba!"
"H-hey, calm down. Hi--" he stood up.
"Anong calm down! Walang nakaka-kalma sa ginagawa mo Gregorio!"
"M-miss Irene..." Portia held my elbow, calming me down. There is a hinch of nervousness on her voice.
Suddenly, he chuckled and went towards me. I glared at him but he keeps on chuckling. "Init na naman ulo mo. Honestly, those designs are truly perfect, kaya nga ginagawa na ngayon"
"Boss?" Caelum interfered. "Ginagawa na?"
"Yes, they're working on it already. Ang gaganda nga eh, lalo na yung mga ideas mo" he glanced at me.
"So you're saying that all of those na napasa na, approved na ang mga iyon?" I asked him.
"Oo. Kaya nga may copy ako sa mga lahat na naipasa" he chuckled again. "I just forgot to tell you to stop na. You exceeded na sa pinapagawa ko. Great work everyone."
They all sighed in relief and cheered.
"Bwisit ka!" I hit his arm. "Why did you do that?!"
"To obviously make your stay here little bit longer. When I found out that you were helping them, I took that opportunity. That was when we're still not in good terms" he grinned.
Nanggigigil ko siyang kinurot. "Aray love, that hurts!" he exclaimed.
Gulat na napatingin sa'min ang mga kasama ko. "OMG?" someone reacted.
"Hala love daw!"
"Gagi, comeback na!"
"Magbunyi, sila na!"
"The long wait is over. They're back!"
"Finally, finally, finally"
"Gago, pre kinikilig ako!"
"Parang di ka lalaki kung kiligin, tumigil ka nga!"
"Kaya pala, yung post ni Maam Xylyx bakit di ko nagets agad"
Isa-isa nilang reaksiyon. Oh, right, they still don't know our relationship.
"News flash everyone" Zack clapped his hands. "Yes, may comeback na naganap. Hindi na tayo makaka-witness ng everyday away, at hindi na ako mai-ipit sa kanilang dalawa" he announced.
They squealed and shouted in joy. Greggy smoothly clasp our hands together.
"Any more problem? If none, you can go now" Greggy told them.
"Awit, gusto na naman masolo" Zack grinned.
When they left, doon lang ako naka-hinga ng maluwag.
Greggy pulled me, he sat down on his swivel chair while I sat on the edge of his table, facing him.
"Huwag ka diyan, naa-attract ako lalo sa'yo, baka maihiga kita diyan" he said and pulled me to sit on his lap.
Aba!
"Are you hungry? Do you want anything?"
"Love, we just had our lunch earlier. Papakainin mo na naman ako, you're ruining my diet" I frowned.
"Diet-diet. Itigil mo na yan, you don't need that, you're just starving yourself. Everything about you is perfect, keep that in mind" he caressed my hair.
I got so much kilig with his words to the point that I went to the restroom to pee. Paglabas ko, may kausap na siya s cellphone niya.
"What is it Mom?" Oh, it's Tita. "Anong meron?"
He glanced at me and motioned me to go sit back on his lap. He put his phone on the table and put the call on speaker so I can hear it too.
"Kailangan ba ng ganap para makompleto tayo dito sa bahay? Sige na anak, isang araw lang. For Mommy, please?" Tita Emma sounded so hopeful.
"Alright Mom. Pero I'll bring someone over" he breathed on my nape which send me chills.
"Sino naman yan?"
"My date, girlfriend ko" I felt his smile.
"May girlfriend ka? Who's this woman? Bakit hindi mo pinapakilala sa amin? My god Gregorio, paano na si Irene niyan?" sunod-sunod na tanong niya.
Nga naman, paano na ako niyan?
"You'll meet her tomorrow Mom. Kaya nga I'm bringing her over"
"Hindi ako natutuwa sa'yo Gregorio ha. Nakapili na ako ng manugang, tapos may ganyan kang balita." she sounded like she's sulking.
"You'll surely love her Mommy, I swear. She's the best"
"Are you really serious? Hindi ba 'to joketime? May girlfriend ka na talaga?"
"Mommy naman..."
I supress my lips to stop myself from laughing, Tita might hear me.
"Huwag ka na palang pupunta dito" she suddenly said.
"Huh? Why?"
"Huwag na huwag kang tatapak dito bukas. Ayokong nagdadala ka ng ibang babae sa pamamahay ko. You're cheating on my daughter-in-law. Itatakwil talaga kita kapag nagdala ka ng ibang babae dito bukas. I'm telling you, I won't be nice to her, si Irene lang ang gusto kong manugang" mahabang litanya at pintay na ang tawag. She sounded like a kid na nagtatampo.
There we both lose it. Greggy laughed so hard that made me laugh too.
"Your mom was so funny" I said. She still doesn't know about us. What's more funny is that, she really thought Greggy has a new girlfriend.
"You'll come with me tomorrow, right? They'll be so happy, I'll tell them about us na. Hindi pa pala sinabi ni Daddy"
Bigla akong napatahimik. Ayan na naman tayo sa meeting the family! Ngayon pang kinakabahan ako sa tatay niya!
"Hey love," he snapped in front of me. "What's the matter?"
"It's just that... facing your dad again makes me nervous" I uttered.
"Do you think I'll let you feel nervous. Don't worry, hindi kita papabayaan, besides, narinig mo naman si Mommy kanina" he chuckled. His laughs makes my mind and heart at ease.

I am staring myself at the mirror while combing my hair. I suddenly felt consciousness on my body, I felt a bit insecure.
I really am gaining weight. Kain kasi ng kain, ano ba yan!
Greggy then walked into the bedroom wearing, as usual, buttoned polo.
"Are you done-- woah!" his eyes widened. "You look so gorgeous love!" he complimented.
I know but...
"Is there anything about me you'd like to change?" I asked.
He stared deeply and started thinking. "Hmm, yeah"
Oh...
"I would like to change your surname" he smiled. "Gusto ko, yung pareho tayo."
I bit my lip and avoided his gaze. "Is there something or someone that's making you feel insecure? Tell me, reresbakan natin" he said that made me chuckle. "Ang ganda-ganda kaya ng Irene ko, sobra pa sa sobra" he attacked my face with kisses.
"Tara na nga, we're gonna be late!"
Kalandian na naman inuuna.

"Oh!" agad napatayo si Gwen nang makapasok kami. She was laying down on their sala pero nagulat nang makita kami.
"Hush! Be quiet nga!" bulong na suway ni Greggy. "Nasaan si Mommy?"
"She's in their room, ayaw niyang bumaba. She evem said na kapag dumating ka daw, paalisin kita, she doesn't want to see your girlfriend, pero now, I think she would love to meet her na" she chuckled.
"Mommy talaga" he laughingly shook his head. "Can you call her Gwen?"
"Sure Kuya" she smiled widely. "Payakap saglit Ate Irene, namiss kita" she jumped to me.
"Careful, baka masaktan naman!" Greggy pulled his sister away from me.
"OA mo naman Kuya!" she whined. "Akyat lang ako Ate, sabihan ko na rin sila Ate Gab" she happily went upstairs.
"Your hand is cold" Greggy chuckled when he held my hands.
"Kinakabahan nga ako!" I whispered.
Few minutes later, I hear footsteps coming down the stairs.
"Mommy, dali na. Kuya's girlfriend is here!" boses ni Gwen ang nangibabaw.
"Stop pulling me Gwyneth! Ayoko ngang bumaba!" Tita Emma replied.
"Ano ba Mommy, halika na kasi, you're heavy pa naman!"
Greggy stood up when we can already see them. Pero bigla akong walang nakita dahil tinago niya ako sa likod niya para hindi nila ako makita. "Mom" he said.
"Ano?" mataray na tanong ng nanay niya.
"Be nice nga Mommy, you're scaring her" Greggy told her.
"Hay naku Gregorio, huwag mo kong madaan-daan sa ganyan mo." she crossed her arms.
I decided to stand up and show up to her. "Good morning Tita" I uttered.
Nanlaki ang mata niya at palipat-lipat ang tingin sa'kin at kay Greggy. She was speechless.
"It's Ate Irene, Mommy!" Gwen said.
"Oh, Lord. Is this for real? Am I not dreaming? Nandito ka ba talaga? You're my son's girlfriend, right?" she asked and held me.
"Yes Mom, she's my girlfriend" Greggy pulled me closer to him.
"What's going on here?" I heard Tito's voice. Shit, ayan na naman siya!
Biglang humigpit ang hawak ko kay Greggy. He felt it and he looked at me.
"Mom, Dad is scaring Irene" pagsusumbong ni Greggy kay Tita na hindi pa lumalayo sa'min.
"Really? Don't worry, ako na ang bahala" she replied.
"Greg's girlfriend is here, be nice to her or you'll sleep on the couch tonight." Tita uttered.
That's when I met his eyes. I was surprised when he smiled. "Good morning, Irene"
"G-good morning po" I replied.
"See, she's afraid of you. Anong ginawa mo?" Tita asked her husband.
"Huh? Wala akong ginagawa." He then looked at me, "Please tell them I didn't do anything hija, baka sa couch ako matutulog"
Greggy beside me tried his best not to laugh. "I was just intimidated by his aura sometimes Tita" I honestly said.
"Ganon?" Tito chuckled. "Bakit naman eh ang bait-bait ko kaya"
I just smiled.
"And because you're here, magpapaluto ako ng marami! Excuse me for a while" Tita uttered and then left.
"Have a seat." Tito motioned the couch. "So, you finally said yes to my son. I'm happy for the both of you. Welcome back to the family hija" he said.
I am slowly getting comfortable with his mood. Nakakatakot lang kapag palagi siyang seryoso, parang laging galit.
Nag-kwentuhan lang kami nang bumalik na si Tita Emma. Later on, I heard tiny steps coming from the stairs.
"Tita Irene, you're here!" Theia was the first one to ran to me.
"Hello Tita, are you going to read us bed time stories again?" Myreah.
And lastly, Aumyrrh. "See, I told you, I was right, Tita Irene will marry Tito Greggy!"
Greggy and I looked at each other while the rest looked at Gwen.
"Hindi ako ang nag-turo diyan. I don't know where he got that" depensa agad niya.
Wala na akong nagawa nang ako na ang kinulit ng tatlo.
"Do you want to rest for a while? Let's go to my room" Greggy told me.
I held his hand when he stood up. When we stepped inside his room, I jumped on his bed.

We were making ourselves busy when suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
"Irene, Greggy, the table is ready. Kakain na" Tita Emma uttered from outside.
Oh, it's lunch time already.
"Susunod kami Mommy!" Greggy answered.
"Edi sumunod ka. Let's go Irene, sabay ka na sa'kin" she said.
Napatawa ako sa kanilang dalawa. I stood up and fixed myself before I went to open the door.
Tita Emma was smiling so widely when she saw us. "Sorry to disturb you two, but we need to eat first, 'kay?" makahulugang sabi niya. She then looked at her son when he walkes towards us. "Ikaw, sumunod ka na lang mamaya, pagkababa namin ng girlfriend mo" she grinned like a kid.
He groaned in annoyance before Tita closed the door. "Mommy!" was all we heard as we go down the stairs.
"Let's eat. Where's your son?" Tito,whose sitting in the middle asked.
"Susunod daw. Hayaan mo yun, kaya na niya ng sarili niya, matanda na siya" we chuckled.
Hindi rin nagtagal at dumating na rin si Greggy. We uttered a prayer and after that, we started eating.
The meal was fulled with stories and laughters. Parang ilang taon na hindi nagkikita.
While I was enjoying the food, I suddenly felt a hand on my thigh. The hand started to move slowly , higher and higher.
I turned to my right and found Greggy smirking. I tried to keep a straight face and stop myself from producing unwanted sounds.
I simply pinch his hand and he immediately remove his hand. Bwisit na to, ipapahamak pa ako sa harap ng pamilya niya.
"So, do we hear wedding bells now?" Ate Gabriela suddenly asked.
They all looked at us. "We'll get there. Pero hindi pa ngayon."
"Oh, by the way. Ano itong narinig ko na sapilitan mong dinala si Irene sa Palawan?" Kuya George
They don't know about that?
"Really? Irene is it true?" tanong sa'kin ni Tita Emma.
"U-uhm..."
"Mom I have no choice!" depensa agad ni Greggy.
His siblings laughed but his mother was so serious.
"Ikaw Gregorio, hindi kita pinalaki para mangidnap ha!" she exclaimed and glared at her son.
I suddenly came up with an idea. Paniguradong lagot ka Gregorio.
"That's what I'm telling him Tita. He made me eat something that made me lost consciousness and when I woke up, I found myself on the beach. Sinong matutuwa sa ganoon" panggagatong ko.
"Love naman..." Greggy uttered.
"Greggy hindi tama 'yon ha!" she was furious.
Oops.
"Konti na lang talaga Kuya iisipin kong napilitan lang si Ate Irene makipag-balikan sa'yo dahil wala siyang choice. Dinala mo ba naman sa isla" Gwen chuckled. Even Tito Luisito was laughing.
"H-hindi ah! Where did you even heard that Kuya Goerge?" he asked, his brows furrowed.
"Thiago told me. Or I think nadulas siya"
"Bwisit na Santiago'ng iyon. Di man lang maitikom ang bibig! Parang hindi kaibigan" he whispered.
Until we finished eating, iyon pa rin ang topic namin. Nakabusangot si Greggy dahil binibiro siya ng mga kapatid niya.

We spent the whole day at the Araneta's residence. We did a lot to let the time pass.
Kakatapos lang ng dinner kanina but here we are again, eating ice cream while watching a short musical film by a friend of Tita Emma.
"Mommy, I want to sleep na" Myreah told her mother, Ate Gabriela. She then lookes at me.
May usapan kasi kami kanina na mag-babasa ulit ako ng bed time stories sa kanilang tatlo.
"Let's go?" I smiled and asked.
"Yes po" they replied in chorus.
Greggy accompanied me upstairs.
'Thank you' I saw Ate Gabriela mouthed those words.
"Should we read this princess one?" I asked them as they snuggle on Myreah's bed.
"Ayaw niyo bang si Tito na lang ang mag-basa?" singit ni Greggy.
"No thanks po Tito, we might end up laughing and not sleeping" Aumyrrh answered without even thinking about it twice.
I chuckled as Greggy frown his face. I read the story and surprisingly, they were fast asleep, I didn't even finish reading it.
"Pagod ang mga 'yan kaya mabilis nakatulog" Greggy uttered as he fix their comforter.
I thought we were leaving na when he came to me and asked me to stand up. But instead, he sat on the chair I was using and pulled me to sit on his lap.
He's hugging me from behind so I leaned my head on his shoulder and slightly yawned.
"Inaantok ka na ba? Do you want to go home na?" he asked.
I didn't respond but I put my arms on his neck, hugging him closely.
"Do you want to sleep here or we'll go home?" he asked again.
Hmm? Sleep here? Pwede rin pero... I have other plans tonight and I can't do it here.
"Uwi na tayo love" I whispered but made sure he understands it.
"Masusunod, mahal ko" he said with a wide smile.
Everyone looked at us when we were going down the stairs.
"Mom,Dad, we're going home na" he told his parents.
"Gabi na, why don't you just spend the night here?" Tito said.
"As much as she wants to, may gagawin daw siya sa condo niya Dad"
Ang galing naman ng Gregorio ko, he knows that I don't want to sleep here so he made up an excuse.
Dahil diyan may reward ka sa'kin mamaya!
"Ah, yes Tito, my assistant sent me something earlier and I need to work on that po" I uttered.
"Is that so? Sayang naman, maybe next time then. Dito na kayo matulog sa susunod ha. And Irene, I want you to bring some of your things here so you have something to use when you come over, 'kay?" Tita said.
"Yes Tita. Mauna na po kami" paalam ko at bumeso isa-isa sa kanila.
"Oh sige, bumalik ka kaagad ha, the door is open for you always. I'll call you very often hija, don't get irita of me ha, makulit lang talaga ako" she giggled and hug me.
When we bid our goodbyes, we head home.
"Are you going to work love?" he asked me as soon as we entered my room.
"No but, go wait for me on the bed" I smirked and closed the door of the bathroom.

Weeks passed and Greggy's birthday is coming near. He told his mom he doesn't want a party for this year, just because.
He said he's getting ready for something big, he doesn't want to tell me.
"What do you want for your birthday then, love?" I asked him again.
"Wish granted na, I have you already" he giggled.
"I'm serious love, you can ask me for anything."
"Ask you for anything, hmm? How 'bout I ask for your hand" he uttered and grab my hand. Pinagmasdan niya ito, "Ang ganda ng kamay mo, sarap lagyan ng singsing"
I felt my cheeks burning and he noticed it, I saw him smirked.
"P-parang tanga 'to!" I hit his arms and he chuckled.
When he calmed down, he talked again. "Are you free on Wednesday, love?"
Wednesday? That is two days before his birthday.
"Yes love, why?"
"I'm going to visit our farm, do you want to come with me?" he asked.
Farm, that sounds fun. "Sure love"
He smiled widely and leaned closer to me.

I am applying chapstick on my lips when Greggy came inside the room. We're getting ready for our lakas since today is Wednesday.
"What's that, love?" he asked as he lean against the vanity mirror.
"Chapstick. To keep my lips moisturize" I said.
Tatango-tango siya. "Can I?" paghingi niya.
I was stunned when he went closer to me instead of getting the chapstick. He claimed my lips that made me shut my eyes.
"I want it directly on my lips" he said when he pulled away. "Delicious. Cherries" he commented.
I rolled my eyes on him. I get my things and went outside. "Tara na nga, kalandian na naman inuuna mo!" I said and he went to me while laughing.

We arrived in Bulacan in less than an hour. Sumalubong sa'min ang berdeng kapaligiran. Their farm is so big.
This is relaxing.
"Greggy!" we heard someone. "Naku, bata ka. Bakit hindi ka nagsasabi na pupunta ka. Sana nakapag-handa kami" an old woman came out from the big nipa house. Probably on her sixties.
"Biglaan lang din 'Nay. Siya nga pala I'm with Irene" he held my elbow.
The lady looked at me. "Aba! Talaga namang napakagandang bata!" she went to me and cupped my face. "Mabuti at nakita na kita hija, madalas kang makwento ni Greggy sa tuwing dadalaw siya dito. Ako nga pala si Fortunata pero tawagin mo na lang akong Nanay Fort"
"Nice meeting you po" I smiled sweetly.
"Oh siya, maglibot muna kayong dalawa. Ipaghahanda namin kayo ng makakain" she said.
We started to roam around and I can't help but ti be amazed. Wow, just wow.
"That houses over there" turo niya sa mga bahay na magkaka-tabi. "We provide housing for our workers who doesn't own any home. Kaya imbis na magbayad pa sila ng mga renta, binigyan na lang namin sila ng bahay, dito na rin mismo kung saan sila nagta-trabaho"
I just listened to him as he explain and talk.
"You love planting, love, right?" he asked.
"Hmm-mm. Bakit, bibigyan mo ba ako ng sarili kong farm?" I joked.
"Well, not a whole farm pero naglaan ako ng lote para mapag-taniman mo ng kahit anong gusto mo." he showed me a wide lot. "It will be your own garden, love. Walang ibang mangingi-alam except sa mga mag-aalaga sa mga tanim mo"
Woah. This lot is for me to plant? Ang laki! Pwede nang magpatayo ng dalawang bahay dito ah.
"Really? This is mine talaga? No joke?"
"Oo nga" he chuckled. "Why will I joke you. And next time na lang ang sarili mong farm ha, mag-iipon muna ako"
"Hey! I'm just kidding! Why will I want my own farm eh meron ka nang farm" I said.
"You don't want a farm? How 'bout your own company love? We can build a new one and magiging kasangga iyon ng kompanya ko. What can you say?"
"No way! Ayoko Greg, you know I'm not into business. Tutulungan na lang kita sa kompanya mo"
"In what way can you help me then" he leaned closer.
"Moral support, ganon" I said but he just laughed. "Tara na nga!" I pulled him.
We spent more time outside before we decided to go back to the big nipa house. We were just in time because they just finished setting up the table.
"Hali na kayo. Kakain na" Nanay Fort told us.
Different kind of ulams are on the table. Natakam ako nang makita ko ang sinigang na hipon.
"Lahat ng mga iyan ay galing mismo dito sa farm" she told me.
"Mukha nga pong masarap 'Nay" I commented.
Para daw tuloy-tuloy ang kain ko, pinagbalatan ako ni Greggy ng hipon. I was about to feel guilty because he's putting me first that's why I am feeding him. Sinusubuan ko siya pagkatapos kong sumubo. Gustong-gusto naman niya.
I learned that Nanay Fort cooked all of this, with the help of the other workers here. It was all delicious, I am so full.
"Gusto ko doon, love" I pointed at the bamboo bed under a big tree. Mukhang presko.
Agad naman siyang tumalima sa sinabi ko. We went there and I was right, presko nga.
I leaned my head on his shoulder as we watch the fields of grains getting swayed by the thin air. Taniman ng palay dito sa kabila habang mga prutas at gulay sa kabilang banda, I even saw a fishpond earlier.
"What do you want to do pa later love?" he asked me.
"Hmm. Mabait ba mga kabayo niyo dito?"
"Ah, yeah. Do you want to go for a ride before we go home later?" he asked again and I nodded while smiling. "There's a small river here, baka gusto mong maligo?"
"We can go there but I don't want to swim." I said. "Shoot! I forgot to bring my camera!" I exclaimed when I remember I don't have my cam with me.
Ano ba yan! Ang dami pa namang pwedeng icapture dito!
"I know you forgot it earlier, kaya ako na ang nagdala" he suddenly showed me what I was looking for.
I squealed and hugged him. "Thank you, love. You really are the best!" I showered his face with kisses.
"I know" he smiled confidently.
"Oh dali, tumayo ka na diyan. Picture'an kita" I told him. Nawala bigla ang ngiti niya.
"Mamaya na love, ang init kaya!" reklamo niya.
"Dali na!" pinanlakihan ko siya ng mata kaya agad siyang tumalima. "Ayusin mo naman ngiti mo Gregorio, halatang napipilitan ka" I rolled my eyes.
"Anything for you love" he said and fixed his smiles.

We also harvested some vegetables and as I expected, kinulang ang binigay na basket. I enjoyed it too much na naging apat na malaking basket na ang binigay sa'kin.
"Love, I saw rambutan trees kanina. Pwede na ba mag-harvest doon?" I asked Greggy.
He looked at the workers. "Ah opo, hinog na ang mga iyon. Kami na lang po ang aakyat" one of them said.
We followed them and I was amazed by the trees full of fruits.
Inutusan ko si Greggy na manungkit dahil wiling-wili talaga ako sa dami ng bunga.
"Ang lamya mo naman love, ano ba yan" I teased him when he can't pull anything.
He was challenged on what I said and he strongly and forcefully pulled and some of the fruit fell.
He picked and opened one before giving it to me. "Taste it. Ikaw ang unang makaka-tikim ng bunga ng mga punong ito," he said. Ito kasi ang unang beses na mamumunga ang mga puno ng rambutan dito.
"It's very sweet" I commented.
He grabbed my hand where the fruit is and put it in his mouth, slowly biting it.
"Tikman niyo, matamis!" he told everyone and smiled.
As they harvest, kain lang ata ako ng kain dito. After harvesting, we went to the river that he was saying.
"Pwede kayong mag-picnic doon. Sandali ipaghahanda ko kayo ng dadalhin niyo" that was what Nanay Fort told us before going to the river, and she literally prepared us basket of food and a picnic mat.
It wasn't far away so we immediately arrived there. Nilatag ni Greggy ang tela at inalalayan akong maupo. The water was so calm and it was like inviting us to swim but we can't since we don't have any spare clothes.
The place was so quiet and peaceful. Greggy is resting his head on my lap while I am telling him random stories.
While I was still speaking, he suddenly shut his eyes close which I got annoyed.
I frowned. "Hey. Tell me kung nabo-boring'an ka sa'kin or something. Hindi yung tutulugan mo ako diyan."
He chuckled while his eyes remained closed. "No love, it's just your voice... music to my ears, keep talking my love"
I bit the inside of my cheeks while I feel my face burning right now.
Hay, epekto mo sa'kin Gregorio.

"Mang Romy, kumusta!" bati ni Greggy nang makapasok kami sa kwadra ng mga kabayo.
"Greggy! Mabuti napadalaw ka dito" the guy said. He then looked at me, "Kasama mo pala si Irene," he smiled proudly.
Pare-pareho ng reaksiyon ng mga tao kapag nakikita ako dito. It's as if they were waiting for this moment to come. And they are so happy that it finally came.
"Maglilibot lang kami ulit bago kami umuwi" Greggy uttered.
"Ah, sige. Si Nympha ba?" Mang Romy asked.
"Siyempre, matic!" Greggy smirked. Then, Mang Romy went inside and told us to wait him here.
"Sino si Nympha?" tanong ko kay Greggy.
"Nympha was my first girl" he uttered. What?
"She's a horse, by the way. Baka iba ang maisip mo love" he added.
Sakto namang pagkasabi niya iyon ay may puting kabayo na lumabas.
"Hey girl, how are you!" pagka-usap ni Greggy dito na parang tao. He's even complimenting her. "Come here, love. Para madali ka niyang ma-familiarize"
I slowly stepped forward and went to them.
"Maiwan ko na muna kayo, may tatapusin lang ako. Enjoy kayo ha!" Mang Romy said and left.
"Nympha, this is my very gorgeous girlfriend, ang pinakamamahal ko." He motioned me, then looked at me. "Love, this was my first ever horse when I was a kid."
"Touch her, don't worry, she's mabait" he added.
Hindi ko siya sinunod kaya siya na mismo ang kumuha sa kamay ko at inihaplos iyon sa kabayo.
Surprisingly, the horse is very malambing. Damn, she's mabait nga!
When I finally got along with her, Greggy helped me to get on her.
"Do you know how to ride a horse?" he asked.
"Duh, of course. Daddy taught me noon kaya marunong na akong mangabayo" I replied.
He smirked on what I said. "Ah, yeah. Magaling ka ngang mangabayo. Proven and tested" he tapped his chest twice.
There and then I realized what I said. "Greg naman! Yung bunganga mo, bwisit ka. Tirik na tirik pa ang araw, kung anu-ano iniisip mo" I rolled my eyes on him.
"Buti pa yung araw, tirik na tirik" he laughed.
"Isa pa Gregorio ha. I'm getting annoyed of you na!" I can already feel my cheeks turning like a tomato.
"Hindi na" he laughed pa rin. "Okay, eto na. Titigil na po" he suppressed his lips to stop his laughter.
"Bati na tayo, sorry na"
"Don't do that again kung ayaw mong masira araw mo" I glared at him and I calmed myself.
"Go get another horse, race tayo" I said later on.
"No!" he immediately said and rode behind me. I protruded my lips and he noticed it. "Next time na lang love, 'kay?"
"Okay"
"Smile na. Mas okay pag ganito oh, mas romantic" he joked on our position right now.
"Mabibigatan si Nympha. Ang laki mo pa namang tao"
As I said that, he pulled the string and Nympha begun to walk. We roamed around the farm once more.
When we're done, nagpa-alam kami isa-isa sa mga nandoon.
"Pagbalik niyo tatlo na kayo ha!" Nanay Fort said. When she saw how clueless we are, she pointed my stomach.
"Sige Nay, asahan mo yan" Greggy replied and I can't help but to blush again.
After bidding goodbyes, we checked if we already have all the things we'll take home and after that, we hit the road back to home.
"Tired, love? Take a nap muna, I'll wake you up when we get there" he said when I yawned.
"No na lang. Hindi naman malayo, and para may kausap ka. You might get bored" I said and he smiled.
I look at him as he drive, admiring his features. This man never fails to make me happy.
So thankful that I have the perfect boyfriend. He's very attractive, successful, kind and he treasures me like I am the most precious diamond.
