"What the fuck is wrong with him?"

Pacing back and forth in her small apartment, Y/N sighed in frustration as she let her fingers through her hair. She didn't and couldn't understand what was going on with Sunghoon or why was he so different.

So full of hate.

Her place, the one that used to be filled with their laughter, was now so silent and gray. Some of his things were still there - she couldn't get rid of them. A part of her still wanted to believe him when she knew for a fact that he was indeed the bad guy.

Staring at the pieces of her ear device that Sunghoon had crashed the other day, she found herself remembering the look he had in his eyes. It was weird because he looked hurt.

Why can't I hate him? She thought as she grabbed her keys and walked out of her place.

She knew the answer of course because she was madly in love with him. However, she couldn't love the villain of the story she she just forced herself to hate him. She fails miserably every time she tells herself that she hates him, though.

How could Y/N ever hate him? She could seem strong and fierce, but she always shook like a leaf whenever he was around, although she made sure he didn't see it.

Stepping into the building where their hideout was, she wore the same expression she always wears when she's working. Her coworkers barely see her smile, she's always having her usual bitch face whenever she's at work.

Her work did not make her smile, anyways.

"You're back," Ujin muttered, looking from his screen and at Y/N that didn't spare him a glance. "What the fuck happened there?"

The place was silent and it was only him as if he was waiting for her to arrive. Y/N looked at him and he had a look of confusion and curiosity, mixed with some disappointment that she had no idea where it was coming from and why.

"It fell and I stepped on it." She muttered, putting her ear device on her desk as Ujin stood up and made his way towards her.

"That's odd. I mean, it happened yesterday."

"Yeah, so?"

"I don't know," He said, looking down at her as he sat on her desk. But when Y/N wanted to push him away, he grabbed her wrist. "You've been switching it off a lot these days, even at work time. And now you break it?"

"What does it have to do with you?" She muttered with a frown.

"Oh, nothing," Ujin shook his head and smirked before leaning towards her. "I'm just wondering what's this thing you're hiding that you don't want us to know about it."

"It was an accident." Her fist tightened and she was about to break his nose if he didn't let go of her hand right then, but, good for him, he did.

"I'm just kidding, Y/N," Laughing, he stood up. "I just like seeing you flustered. Remember? I trust you. You also trust me."

"Why does it seem that you're angry and disappointed, though?" Her words made him stop in his track as he was walking out of the office. "Why do you have that look on your face?"

"What look?" He raised an eyebrow and she looked at her screen.

"The look you usually have whenever one of your plans doesn't work." These words made Ujin freeze in his place, but Y/N was too busy to look back at him. Or she just didn't care about him.

"I mean," He started, staring at her for a moment before he turned around to leave. "It didn't."

Y/N was left alone in the office, her fingers running through her red locks as she sighed heaat vily, the sight of an old woman who carried the world on her shoulders. She had a mission and she needed to stop getting distracted.

What she needed to do was seduce Min Jun, but she believed she got closer to him without even doing so. He seemed to be a good guy, and Y/N was going to use that to know more about his family, but most of all, beat Sunghoon.

She was petty and he wasn't gonna play with her.

Looking at Min Jun's background information, she frowned as she put her chin on her hands. He knew many bar and casino owners, he even had his part of the business. He was willing to build one of the biggest bars in Korea, Fort De Plaisir.

What a weird name, but a great place. The design of the building was amazing, and it seemed that it would bring him a fortune. Was Sunghoon really after their wealth, after all?

Y/N sighed, closing her eyes as she put her head down on her desk. Her thoughts couldn't move an inch without bumping into some piece of him and that frustrated her.

When she looked back at her screen, the positions of her coworkers appeared and she just looked brushed it off, focusing back on Min Jun's data that she didn't notice them switching their ear devices off.

Her gaze landed on quite interesting information and she found herself getting up quickly as she grabbed her keys and left the office.

It was time to go shopping. Not literally, though.

Min Jun was invited to one of the biggest weddings that Korea will ever hear of, and he was getting his new suit from one of the famous tailors in Times Square Mall. Y/N deally fancy shopping since her clothes only consisted of her black suit and the clothes she wore in missions - that were all from Mr. Kang.

But as she stepped into the mall, many eyes, if not all, turned to look at her while she just kept walking. Her red wine dress matched her red hair and the sound of her heels echoed through the place. She was so beautiful, something she always used for her favor when in missions.

No one seemed to be suspicious of her, they just thought that she was someone of a high position because her aura didn't give secret agent vibes. It gave a chaebol's rich heiress.

The tailor's shop was close by and when she stopped in front of it, she wore her best fake smile and stepped inside before greeting the owner. "Hello." Y/N bowed politely and the mister bowed back at her, welcoming her inside the place.

"Welcome, Miss. How do I help you?"

"Well, I'm looking for a suit as a gift for a friend." She smiled while looking around. "Just bring me your most expensive piece."

"Oh, the thing is..." He said, unsure, and Y/N's smirk almost appeared. "It's already sold, I fear."

"Hm? Who bought it?"

"I believe the mister is still here," Muttering these words, he excused himself. "Let me just check."

Y/N sat down on the sofa in the middle of the shop and waited for Min Jun to appear because she was sure as hell that he was the one who bought it.

"Who's asking about it?" Min Jun's voice made her smile to herself before she turned around to look at him as he made his way towards her with the shop's owner. "Are you- Kang Yejin?" The way he remembered and said her fake name made her stop for a moment, staring at him with slightly wide eyes.

"Min Jun?" She muttered and he rushed towards her, worry written all over his face. He seemed happy, relieved even, to see her.

"What happened last night? Did he hurt you? You were gone but when I checked the CCTVs, they were all not working and I thought something happened to y-"

"I'm okay." She smiled a little, reassuring him. "He let me go the moment we stepped out and he was gone... but why was he after you? Do you know him?"

"I..." Min Jun looked down and then away as if trying to not get angry at the thought of him. "It's nothing, just family affairs."

"Ah, I see."

"I'm sorry you had to go through that because of me, I apologize for that." He bowed at her and she couldn't believe it. Was the Seong Min Jun politely bowing at her? Yes, he indeed was.

"No, it's okay, it's nothing."

"Oh, by the way, were you asking about a suit?" He asked and the owner stepped to talk.

"Yes, this is the woman I told you about, Mr. Seong."

"Ah," He muttered, nodding. "Well, just let her have it. I can always get another one."

"Really?" Her eyes widened, not because he let her have it, but rather because she would have to pay millions of dollars for that damn suit. "It's okay, I'll just-"

"I would like to pay for her suit," Min Jun told to the owner before he turned to her with a smile. "This is the least I can do as an apology for what happened."

The relief Y/N felt at that moment was something that couldn't be described. It almost felt like something that would make her smile for the rest of her life.

"You're very generous, Min Jun."

"It's nothing, my lady." Her heart was acting weird and her cheeks reddened a little as she cleared her throat and bowed at him. "You look beautiful, I thought about telling you that the moment I saw you."

Stop it, heart, it's not time for that.

"Thank you." She smiled softly and he nodded, his eyes sparkling.

Y/N's mission was going well, Min Jun seemed like he liked her and in no time, she'd be where she needed to be. But what she didn't realize and notice was the man in black that pointed his rifle at her from the building's rooftop.
