"Bye Tara" the nurse hugged her, my mom was getting released from the hospital today. So far she seemed to be fine except for the limp she had when she walked and she was still coughing but everything else was good.

Kai helped her walk to the car which eventually she hit him "I can walk kai" she said making them
Laugh and Kai went and got in on the drivers side.

"you ready to be going home?" Kai asked as he pulled off

"Yes, I just hope the world wasn't moving to fast while I was gone"she shook her head

"Hell my life was moving fast as hell and slow at the same time" kai bit down on his bottom lip

"how is that" she laughed

"the slowness of you still not waking up was terrible, and then everything that happened with cortez and then Mia. still can't believe that whole mia situation"

"Four years and y'all just going to throw it away? I don't know what she did but i trust that you made the right decision so I'm going to stop questioning you"

"But let me ask you one question" Tara said and Kai nodded "how did you go from Mia to soriah" she said making me laugh cause Mia and soriah was two different people and as much as I seen that I guess everyone else did too

"Me and her ain't together so I didn't really go from her to soriah" I mumbled

"You don't have to lie son" Tara laughed

"Soriahs a good girl though, I like her. And you know when I say that I really mean it. She's got a lot going for herself and you need someone to balance you out" Tara smiled looking out the window

"Ok ma" kai laughed waving her off, she then gasped as she pulled up to her house seeing all the cars and people in her driveway.

"they ain't here for me" kai laughed because she was looking over at him

Some people couldn't make it to visit her in the hospital, she also had limited visitations so they all just decided to see her when she came home

They both got out the car and Tara immediately started hugging some of her friends and family. Tara didn't really have a partner she had been single every since Kai's dad left, which he was on drugs bad so it was no telling where he was.

Kai walked up to soriah who was standing up beside amaya and mari. He was confused why they was here but he ain't really care.

"what's wrong" soriah said as I wrapped my arms around her neck

"nun" I mumbled looking down at her

"sweating out my curls" mari mumbled making me get off of soriah and look at them

"you ain't have none to begin wit them curls been deflated" Amaya said as she laughed looking at me, amaya was a little annoying. She was cute and all but she would always try to get my attention and it was aggy.

"She so happy" kai said looking at his mom who was dancing wit her long time friend

"she probably happy to be getting out that hospital" amaya said and I agreed nodding my head

"She better stop, gone be sore in the morning" I shook my head

"Leave her alone" soriah laughed

"why she here" mari said making me and soriah both look behind us to see Mia walking up.

"wow" soriah mumbled

"don't do nothing stupid out here"'soriah whispered to me as I started over to her

"yeah ight" I mumbled, then walking over to Mia before anyone else could notice that she was here

"Why the fuck are you here" I jerked my head back

"I just heard about her getting out the hospital I wanted to say hi" Mia mumbled

"you ain't give a fuck about her or me when she was in the hospital so you can go"

"kai- I'm sorry"

"Fuck you and your sorry."

"why is she always here" Mia asked looking behind me at soriah

"why you fuck aj?" I said making eye contact with her, but she stayed quiet

"exactly, so don't come over here asking me bout the people that's over here wit me. Cause when I asked you if you and aj had something going on you lied in my face. We done Mia this shit is over. I don't wanna talk to anymore, and don't come over here again I swear to god."

"kai im- I" she started stuttering

"yo go the fuck home!" I slightly yelled balling my fist up, and everyone turned there attention to me

"I'm sorry" her eyes filled with tears

"I don't give a fuck-" I was cut off by someone pulling my arm. I was bout to fight whoever it was but then I realized it was soriah. She pulled me into my mom house.

"sit down" she said pointing to the couch and I did so.

"what happened" amaya came in the house

I just sat there slumped on the couch with my leg shaking, as I tried to calm myself down. I was just irritated because she always wanna pop up and shit. Just wanted her to Leave me alone, and then she asking me bout soriah really just pissed me off

"what did she say to you?" Amaya asked and I just mugged her then mari walked in the house

"leave him alone maya" soriah mumbled

"I was just asking" Amaya frowned and I muugged both Mari and amaya before I walked upstairs to my old room

"hold up" soriah said following after kai

"You gotta stop letting that girl get to you" soriah said walking in the room seeing kai sitting down on the bed

"she want shit to be about her so bad. Ain't no way she came over here on the day my mom came out the hospital." He said as soriah came over and sat beside him

"you literally letting that girl get to you, and you can't even enjoy your day wit your mom" soriah said

"she ain't even worth getting all worked up about"she said and nodded in agreement

"chill out" she said wrapping her arms around his neck

"mhm" he mumbled looking at her, and she got closer to him pecking his lips.

"baby ass" she mumbled making him laugh, and then he grabbed her neck giving her a wet sloppy kiss.

She pulled away from him as she looked around the room "this was yo room when you was younger?" She asked looking at his pictures on the wall and he nodded

"aw too cute" she said picking up a photo of him when he was younger

"my teeth was fucked up" he mumbled and she just laughed
