I see so many people smiling every day
How many of them might actually be real?
Are they all as contented and cheerful as they say?
I feel curious to know what those smiles conceal
What pain are they trying hide by that smile?
Do they have some weakness they try not to show?
Have they been hiding themself since awhile?
Keep troubles buried not wanting anyone to know
There is a long story behind every "I am alright"
Some are really satisfied, many sad or insecure
Countless let out their troubles weeping at night
A fake smile seems easier than the truth for sure
There are some issues no one wants to share
Everyone has their own hidden inner leaflet
Its better than encountering a judgmental stare
