"B-But Yi, what you want to happen is impossible. You're not just an ordinary man; you're the crown prince, for heaven's sake!" I hang my head down, feeling in despair. Sangwoo is right; I can't escape easily. I told them what happened earlier in the palace about Jandi's cheating. They can't believe it at first, but when they see me with teary eyes, they know that I'm not lying.
"You're only allowed to stay for three months."
That's why I wake up early in the morning, or should I say that I didn't sleep at all? Jandi also keeps calling me. It's a good thing she's not allowed to go inside the palace in the middle of the night, or else she might be here trying to talk to me.
"Your Royal Highness?" Gaeul's voice shocked my empty mind.
"W-What are you doing, brother?" I froze for a moment, confused about what I would tell my younger sister, and just flopped myself on the bed. Gaeul steps inside; my sister suspects the things on the bag I'm fixing.
"Why are you packing your clothes? On your wedding day?" Gaeul stared at me in disbelief while showing me the clothes I put inside the bag. "Are you running away?" I glanced aside while biting my lip to retain my composure. Now, Jaeyoung, the head bodyguard that was in charge of me, was now talking as my friend.
"Why are you running away, brother? What is happening? Did you and Jandi-eonnie fight?"
"It's hard to explain for now, Gaeul, Jae; I just need some time." I guided her to sit beside me, and I held her in both arms and said, "I will come back, I promise you."
"Yijeong..." I can see how confused my friend was when he saw my sister's presence in the room, but all I can do is plead with her to let me go for a moment.
"What are you talking about, brother?" My younger sister's eyes welled up.
"Trust your brother for now, Gaeul." Ren also steps inside and locks the open door.
"C-Crown Prince Ren, you also know about this?" Gaeul knows the closeness of my relationship with Ren. This is the first time they have met, even though Ren has already formally visited our palace before.
"Nothing is going to happen with your older brother; he will come back safe and sound. As of now, he just needs to breathe, far away from this place." Because of what Ren said, Gaeul started crying.
"Where are you going?" She asked in her sobs.
"I will stay for a while in Thailand's palace; promise me to keep this from everybody. I also promise that I will tell you everything after I come back." She didn't respond but just hugged me tightly.
"Just keep your promise; don't leave me alone for too long here, brother." I hug her tightly and run my hands through her hair while I smile bitterly.
"Crown Prince Ren, please take care of Yijeong." Jaeyoung bowed as he made his request. I mouthed "thank you" while Ren just nodded and gave him an assuring smile.
"I promise; take care of yourself, Gaeul." I feel that she's having a heavy breath; my sister is really a crying baby. I gently tapped her back to comfort her. After that, I jumped outside through the window; Noah was already waiting for me. Noah is Ren's loyal bodyguard; he is also my good friend.
"The Crown Prince! The Crown Prince is missing!" After we heard the hysterical voice of my younger sister, we rushed off to the secret passage of the palace.

Noah took me to where Ren is currently staying; it's a high-class hotel and has the best security. I've been wondering the whole day what happened in the palace while I'm anxious to turn on the television. I can't also afford to turn on my phone, or else they can track me. In the middle of my thoughts, I heard a soft knock on the door. It must be Noah; it's already past dinner. He might bring something to eat.
"Come in!" However, the person who's holding a tray of food is Ren. I quickly got up from my seat.
"W-What happened in the palace? T-The wedding, what happened?" He placed the tray on the table without making a noise.
"They still continued the wedding without you."
"What?" Then softly laugh while pointing at my face. This man has me! I frowned.
"I'm kidding; they didn't continue the wedding by telling us that the King had a heart attack." I was about to ask him why, but he held my shoulder and instructed me to sit down.
"Don't panic; it's just a cover. His Majesty doesn't want to let the people know that you're missing. I got home late because they are interrogating each person who's working in the palace because the CCTV was cut off by you."
"W-What about Jaeyoung?"
"They can't afford to blame Jaeyoung; they treated him as their son. They just want him to bring you back to the palace as soon as possible." Jaeyoung has been with us since we were little. He's already an orphan; that's why my parents took him to the palace. That kid wants to replace my parents' kindness and support. That's why he chose to be my bodyguard.
"What about Jandi?" I asked in a low tone, but enough to make him hear.
"You're still asking for that girl? She's been crying the whole day." I want to laugh because he sounds so bitter because I still asked about Jandi but it stings my heart hearing she's crying... for me. Is she really sad? Or just feeling guilty for what happened?
"Stop thinking and eat your food. Our flight is early in the morning; get some sleep after this." He gently grips my shoulder before heading to the bathroom.
On the next day, we headed early in his private plane and flew to Thailand, the Land of Smiles. Even though I'm walking behind him, he and Noah are making sure that I will not leave their side until we reach their Royal Palace. I'm kind of nervous because this will be the first time I meet the Royal Family. As far as I know, Ren has a twin. I wonder what he will look like.
"Brother!" Suddenly, a man hugged my friend, and everyone bowed down a little. He has neck-length hair, like the typical bad boy look you can see in movies or series. Our height is almost the same, and I can say he has a free spirit. He must be the twin brother of Ren, the youngest of the twins.
"How was Korea? Did you meet beautiful women there? Did you get their numbers?" Don't tell me he's a womanizer?
"MJ, I didn't go to Korea for that matter. Is Her Majesty in her quarter?"
"You're boring! But I think yes. She's always in her chamber." Ren thanked him and walked away. All of them bowed down again which I also did to act like one of them. However later on, he demanded his other servant to leave him for a while except Noah and I.
"Wait Ren, what do you want to say to Her Majesty?"
"What more? Of course I have to say who you are." He was about to walk away but I stopped him.
"Please, let me stay here peacefully. Don't tell the Queen about me."
"Crown Prince, Her Majesty wants to see you." A lady interrupted our conversation. Ren placed his hand on my shoulder.
"Stay here, let's talk about this later." I smiled at him. Around the Grand Palace where the Thailand's Royal Family lives, there are numerous buildings, halls, and pavilions that are molded from the prosperous culture and tradition of the people who live here. This will be my new home... temporarily. I closed my eyes and felt the cold air touch my skin. Everything is new but I have to adjust.
"Please spare me. I'm wrong, I will not let it happen again." As my curiosity invades my system, I walk to the left corner to see a servant on her knees begging for something and also a guy wearing high-brand clothes and accessories from top to bottom.
"Of course you will not let it happen again because I will make sure you can remember it." As soon as I realized his hand was about to touch the woman, I dashed over to them and grabbed his hand.
"What are you doing?"
"What are you doing?" He repeated my words with an authoritative voice. As if I'm scared of him.
"Are you crazy? Do you really have to hurt her?" If she did something wrong, they can talk about it. Also, the lady already admitted her fault and asked for forgiveness. His face suddenly smirked.
"I'm crazy? Did you just insult me?" Then his gaze went to my hand grabbing his, "How dare you touch me, low peasant?" I heard rushing footsteps from behind me, and I saw them bowing towards us the moment they reached our place. One of the servants helped the lady on the floor get up, and two men held my arms. Wait, what's happening?
"I apologize for coming late; are you okay, Your Highness?" The last term made my eyes widen. He's also a prince?!
