Alex POV
Today was a fun day. Why you may ask?
Because it's my BIRTHDAY.
And that meant I could take the day off and do almost nothing. So I did... kinda at least.
I took a walk for a while and got some sandwitches from Delmars for lunch. I just walked around for a while before I went back home.
But when I got back to my apartment door and was ready to unlock it and go inside the door was blocked by a bunch of brightly wrapped boxes and cards.
I reached over them and unlocked the door. I opened it and brought all the things inside. When i got inside there were more things on the table.

I looked at the tags on some of the bags and boxes. The ones on the table were from, Wade, Matt, Peter, MJ, Ned, and Aunt May.
The ones that were by my door were from Tony, Clint, Thor, Loki, Nate, and Cassie.
Most of them had cards or tags on them. I flipped over the card from Tony and read it.
"Happy Birthday kid, we all wanted to give you a gift so enjoy the presents. And I hope you enjoy mine the best - Tony Stark" I read out loud.
I turned to the the ones one the table and flipped through one of the cards.
And guess what. People don't hate me because they were all birthday presents for me. Wow.
I started to open the ones on the table starting with Wades present. I tore open the bright unicorn wrapping paper and inside of that was a box so I lifted the top off and inside was a gun. It was a pistol and the design was a bunch of skeleton bones scattered around the gun.

I put the gun down after looking over it a few times looked at the note that was placed under the gun. "Hope you have fun and use it recklessly :) - Wade" I chucked when I read the note and turned to the bag from Matt.
I pulled away the tissue paper and looked inside the bag. Inside was a soft homemade crotchet stuffed duck. Though the color was purple, the feet were green, and the eyes were slightly off centered.... I mean he tried. But I loved it. There was a note stuffed in the side of the bag.
"Alex I hope this reads right because I'm using speech to text, but happy birthday and I hope you enjoy the duck. As you can probably tell I hand made it so I hope you enjoy. Happiest Birthday -Matt" I read out again.
I smiled and moved aside the present and moved towards Peters. I opened the bag to see a huge ass sweater. It has a care bear on it with pastel flowers around it with the words 'I'm a huge fucking disappointment' on it. And let me tell you I loved it.
Peter knows my humor is bad. And I know his humor is also bad.
I folded the sweater up and looked at the present from Ned. It was a new go-pro! I had one a while back but it fell off a building..... I used to make videos on patrol with Peter. Maybe this is a sign to start again.
There was a small box from MJ. I opened it carefully and inside was a necklace with a sun charm. Behind the necklace was a note. "Hope you like the necklace, it's small but I figured you would enjoy it -Your favorite MJ"

After a small (large) panic I looked at the box Aunt May left. I opened it and inside was a long black skirt, a brown top with flowers on it, a pair of sandals, and one of those floppy sun hats. I looked at the note "Have fun with the new outfit, hope you have fun plans with it ;) -Aunt May.
I smiled internally screaming with joy and excitement as I looked over at the gifts from the people at the tower.
There was a card from Clint so I looked at that first. I opened the card and the first thing I saw was $100 taped to the card. I took it off and turned back to the words written on the card. "Happy birthday, this is a thanks for babysitting from me and Laura. Thank you - Clint Barton"
I picked up the box from Thor next. I carefully opened it and inside was a FUCKING BIRD. LIKE A LIVE CAW-CAWING BIRD. It tilted its head at me and squawked. I should mention it was a raven and it had these gold/silver streaks in the feathers.
"Uh hello?" Yes I am talking to a bird.
It just squawked at me again.
There was a note on the inside of the box. I carefully reached inside and pulled it out. The bird did nothing and just stepped aside and I reached my hand in and pulled out the note.
"Dear Alex. This is a gift from Thor and as you can probably tell it's a raven. And do not worry as she is magic and doesn't need food or anything. She is a companion to you from now on, she will help you on your journey of life. And if you need to send letters she would be more than happy too. Happy birthday young one!"

"You wanna be called Wednesday?" I looked at the bird. She squawked at me again and ruffled her feathers.
"I'm taking that as a yes"
I carefully picked her up out of the box and held her. She seemed to like it. I was kinda hoping that she would be kinda like Sydney (or Sydney the Destroyer if you want the full name) Wednesday flew up to my shoulder and sat there.
I moved onto the box from Loki, this box was longer than the rest, and Inside was a long (and sharp) sword with a leather handle. In the area where the blade and hilt of the sword met there was a symbol. It was like a snake with the tales wrapped around each other.
It was the symbol of Loki
(At least I think it is, I don't fucking know. But it should be)
I picked up the sword and waved it around a little. Holy shit this was so cool. The sword fit well in my hands and it was REALLY pretty. I think Loki liked to give out swords and knives, but hey I wasn't complaining.
I carefully placed the sword down and picked up Nate's small gift. I opened it and inside was a drawing, it was messy but Nate was like 6. It was a drawing of us under a rainbow with the words best friends written over it.
I smiled as I placed the drawing down and looked over at the box from Cassie. Inside was a VERY poofy pink princess dress with a tira and a pair of Heals to match. There was a note included with the package. "Bring this next time you babysit were gonna have a tea party - Cassie"

After fussing over the dress for a little bit I turned to Tony's package. Now the box was almost as big as me so I was a little concerned, but there was a card on top along with the first one so I read that first.
Once I opened the card something fell out and I caught it. It was a chain with something attached to it (it looked like a guitar pick) , I didn't pay attention to it at first hoping the letter would explain more.
I stated to read the card. "Once again happy birthday and I hope you enjoy your day. Inside is a gift for you (no refunds) the chip that was in the card is the that will help you control the present. Place it down on the ground (follow the arrows) and open the box. Slide the gift out and once it is fully out press your thumb on the chip and wait for the prick. Then the gift will work. There will be more info that comes with the gift. Have fun!" - Tony Stark.
'Control the gift' ya after those words I was concerned.
But fuck it.
I laid the box down hotdog style with the arrows pointing out. It was slightly hard to do because it was HEAVY, but with a mix of super strength and persistence, I got the box to lay down. I slit open the boxes top and starts to slide something out of the box.
I stopped when I saw the face of a dog-like thing. Not a real dog though.
A mechanical one.

I continued to slide it out until it was fully out of the box. I stood up and held the chip in my hand.
"This better not kill me," I said out loud. I pressed my thumb on the chip for a second before I felt a sharp prick on my thumb. I removed my thumb to see a small bead of blood forming. As I while away the blood the chip glowed blue for a second before the mechanical dogs eyes glowed a bright blue.
There was a bunch of mechanical whirring and the dog shifted to life.
(yes I am going off the idea of A.X.L from the movie, so this is what I'm talking about)
The dog tilted its head and barked.
"Uh hello?"
The dog shifted its weight and suddenly a hologram video projected from the dog. It was a video of Tony and he was talking.
"Hello if you are seeing this your name must be Alex so this is for you" The recording started.
"this is Dog and you can pick a different name obviously, but Dog is your newest addition to your house. If you followed the directions correctly you are now paired with him which means he will assist you in any way you need. He has everything you could need... Don't quote me on that though. And no he won't attack anything that you don't want him to so don't be reckless." Tony pointed out.
"And If you want there is even a button where if you would like it can talk. Yes talk like a human and You can find that on the side of the body, there should be a touch screen so you can personalize it to help her fit in with you" Tony explained.
"And don't worry about keeping him inside and hidden if he needs to he can camouflage to look like another dog, but on that short list of things have fun and happy Birthday" and then the message ended.
"Of course Tony gives ME the robot dog who can do ALMOST anything, I feel like he should know that I only fake being responsible" I mumbled as I walked over to the side of the dog and looked at the screen on the dog's side.
The screen turned on and I could see there was a button thing that said 'voice' so I hoped that is what won't was talking about. I clicked the button and for a moment nothing happened but then a voice said "hello"
I jumped back, "Fucking shit, I'm hoping that that hello came from you and not a random man in my house?"
"Yes, that was from me" the dog said turning to face me. The jaw didn't actually 'speak' the jaws just parted slightly and I was guessing the noise came from a speaker.
"This is so cool" I whispered.
"Thank you" the dog responded.
"So what's your name?" yes I'm talking to a dog now.
"I don't have one, but you can choose one for me!"
"Ok gimme a minute"

"I like that very much" The dog now named Bowie responded.
I should also mention that Bowie sounded like Doug from UP.
"Well, then Bowie how about we clean this all up and then watch a movie" I suggested.
"I like movies"
"Don't we all" I said as I moved to clean up everything.
After a little bit of putting everything away nicely and getting dinner ordered (I want about to cook on my birthday) we sat down on the couch and watched t.v.
Now I have Sunny and Char who are chickens, Bart who is a robot rat, Wednesday who is a magic raven, Bowie who Is a robot dog. And Venom.
My house is fucking chaos.
