Cale didn't know why he ended up here..
He just followed the SYSTEM'S instructions and somehow ended up inside the school's library.
'Are you sure I'm supposed to be here??' Cale thought, speaking to the SYSTEM
[ ABSOLUTELY ]
The robotic voice replied as the sound echoed in his head.
'What am I even supposed to do?' He questioned.
[ WHERE ARE YOU? ]
The robotic voice suddenly asked.
'The library? Didn't you tell me to-'
[ RIGHT, NOW WHAT DO YOU DO IF YOU'RE INSIDE THE LIBRARY? ]
'umm... Read books?'
[ EXACTLY, NOW GO AND DO THAT ]
"..."
Cale didn't know if the SYSTEM was being sarcastic or was just being mean..
'Whatever, let's just do what it says' Cale sighed as he headed to find a book to read.

Cale didn't understand on what the hell is going on nor does he know what the fuck he should do.
He was just sitting down on one of the library chairs, reading a book that piqued his interest when all of a sudden, a black haired boy ran up to him and tackled him, snuggling close, hugging him tightly as possible.
'What the-!'
"E- Excuse me...?" Cale managed to choke out from the tight squeeze the ravenette gave him.
Hearing the red head's voice, the unknown person removed their grip and looked at Cale face to face.
[ ALERT-
CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HAVE MET THE FUTURE SHADOW MONARCH ]
The Robotic voice echoed in Cale's mind as it congratulates him.
"..."
'So you're telling me.... This cute boy is the supposed to be shadow monarch..?' Cale thought, surprised as his imagination on the monarch was quite different per say..
'However....'
"Can you please get off?" Cale said to the ravenette who was still on top of him.
'-We still need to fix our positions...'
Having a body with heavy weight on top of you is not a great experience, and Cale can tell you all about it.
Compared to Cale's slim body that can almost be mistaken for a female's if it wasn't for his Addams Apple, the shadow monarch has slight muscles that looked like it's from carrying heavy objects.
Cale assumed it's due to the ravenette having a job.
It does make sense considering he's rich so he doesn't need to work, while the boy on the other hand, doesn't seem to be from a well off family..
But why does the shadow monarch keep staring at him?!??
Does he look weird?!??
'Gosh.. I wish I could stop calling him "The Shadow Monarch" but how can I?!? I don't even fucking know his name!' Cale thought, complaining in his thoughts.
[ YOU STILL NEED TO INTRODUCE EACH OTHER TO AVOID SUSPICION ]
The SYSTEM said, giving a point
'Well that's a fucked up way to avoid suspicion when you don't even know their names..'
[ ... ]
'...'
[ WE'RE NOT GOING TO HELP YOU UNTIL YOU AND HIM WILL BECOME FAMILIAR WITH EACH OTHER, GOODBYE ]
And just like that, the SYSTEM vanished.
'No wait-'
'...'
'..I apologize...?'
'...'
Sigh
It looks like he's on his own until he finishes introducing himself to the boy.
Cale stared back at the boy and waited for him to get off.
"..."
Milliseconds, Seconds, minutes passed and he still didn't get off.
'Ok, this is getting really complicated' Cale thought, irritated at the supposed to be overpowered shadow monarch.
"Hey-"
Aaaand he got off-
'Wow, I didn't even get to finish my words..he only got of when I stopped being polite...'
Standing up, Cale was surprised that this cute looking boy was taller than him.
Despite the two almost having the same build, the ravenette is still 5 inches taller than him.
Cale frowned.
'Why is the alternative me short?' He thought, sulking in the inside but remained calm on the outside.
Cale then looked up at the boy only to see him still staring with an expression he didn't understand.
'Damn.. Do I really look weird?'
The shadow monarch opened their mouth making their action look like they're about to speak, only to close it back again, causing Cale raise an eyebrow at the boys' weirdness.
'Please just say something!' Cale thought, tired of standing and exhausted at the awkwardness.
"Listen, if you're not-" Cale was about to scold the supposed to be almighty monarch but was caught off by him speaking.
"...woo" They said in a soft but stern voice.
"Huh?" Cale tilted his head, asking for the boy repeat his words.
"Jinwoo... Call me Jinwoo..."
"..."
Cale was speechless. He didn't know what to say.
Was this boy that eager to make friends to the point that they'd tackle a stranger-
Wait...
Are they even strangers...?
As if he discovered something horrific, Cale's thoughts started to become chaotic.
'Hold on-! Did the god of death ever say something about the monarch- no, Jinwoo knowing him?!??'
'SYSTEM! HEY SYSTEM!!!' Cale shouted in his mind, panicking.
[ ... ]
[ WHAT ]
The same robotic voice echoed once again in his head.
Cale mentally sighed in relief.
'Do I know Jinwoo?' He asked, hoping to get an answer he hoped for.
[ ACCORDING TO THE REPORT GIVEN TO US, NO. YOU DO NOT KNOW THE FUTURE SHADOW MONARCH OR THE NAME YOU CALL, JINWOO ]
With this, Cale finally calmed down.
He then looked back at Jinwoo after some time only to catch him staring again.
Cale shivered.
'It's like he's starting through my soul-!'
"Yes.. Um"
"Sung Jinwoo"
"Of course.. Jinwoo-nim..."
The one who called themselves Jinwoo, smiled brightly at the red head finally calling their name but continued to frown slightly when they heard the red head adding a 'nim' to his name.
"You don't need to add a nim..." Jinwoo said, not liking Cale using honorifics.
Cale didn't know ow how to act so he went and ask for help to his assistant; aka, the SYSTEM
'Hey SYSTEM, Help me out here!'
[ JUST ACT NORMALLY. HOWEVER, IF YOU WANT TO LEAVE A GOOD IMPRESSION, MAKE SURE TO BE FRIENDLY ]
Cale doesn't have want other choice but to follow what the robotic voice had adviced him to do.
'Sigh whatever, it's not like it'll hurt! For the sake of my Slacker Life!!'
After placing his thoughts in order, Cale finally replied
"Then, it's a pleasure to meet you Jinwoo. My name is Cale"
Jinwoo smiled.
"Pleasure is all mine.... Cale.."
