I quickly finished the spaghetti that Wanda had made and thanked her, then I excused myself from the table. I rinsed off my plate and put it in the dishwasher.
When I turned around I was greeted with odd looks from half the table.
"I, uh... I should get going... don't wanna get home too late," I slipped out the door and backtracked the directions I was given earlier, but once I rounded the corner my spidey senses went off.
I turned around and grabbed the person behind me, my heart making an attempt to break out of my rib cage.
The person grabbed me by the shoulders. "Hey! Hello? Guess who,"
"Mr. Stark!"
"That's me," He glanced down at my neck. "Those don't look like cat scratches."
"Yeah, they were... they were vicious."
"Right. And, uh, you wanna tell me why you have those scratches all over your body?"
"Wha- FRIDAY?"
"Mhm. Come on, you're going to the infirmary."
"Why?"
"Cause I said so, and also cause you're bleeding internally."
"Oh, come on!"
