i wake up laying on my stomach
on the cold floor of the basement
i turn over so i'm laying on my back now
i stand up and see the grabber in the corner
" fight me " i say
he stands up and runs towards me
i kick him in the face and he falls backwards
but i don't run

i punch him over and over again
until he stops trying to get me off
i stand up and walk up the stairs and out the front door
" leah ? " gwen says as the sun light hits my face for the first time in a long time
" gwen ? " i say smiling and running to her
she hugs me and lets go
i lose my balance and fall to the ground
but as soon as i do
i jolt awake
it was a dream ?

i try and sit up but i- i just can't
" bruce " i say turning my head to him
" why can't i sit up " i say starting to panic
" leah- yo- " i cut him off
" don't fucking tell me i'm paralyzed " i say starting to tear up
" no your not paralyzed " he says slightly laughing
" he stabbed you in the side " " so maybe that's why you can't sit up " he says sighing
" he stabbed me ? " i say
a tear sliding down my face
" he stabbed all of us " paperboy says
" that's how we died " he says
" he cut my neck with a knife " paperboy says sitting down
" he cut my face with a knife and then stabbed me " bruce says turning around
" he threw me down the stairs like you but i broke me back and then he stabbed me.. over and over again " griffin says looking down at me
i feel so bad for all of them
but griffin mostly
he was just a little kid
i try to sit up and actually do it this time
" what even happened " i say throwing my self on the mattress
" well you tried to run up the stairs but he stabbed you and then you fell backwards, rolled down the stairs, and then he took the knife out
and bandaged you all up " bruce says looking at me
" ah so that's why i'm not bleeding out and dying " i say while closing my eyes
" you still dying but he just made your death slower, he just wants you to play his game " paperboy says
" game ? " i say confused
" naughty boy " griffin says
" i'm a girl i'm not playing that " i say opening my eyes
" you have too or else he's gonna kill you leah " bruce says sighing
" then let him kill me " i say sitting up
" i'd rather die than anything else right now " i say looking at bruce
" your being a bitch " bruce says slightly yelling
" selfish even " he says looking at me disappointed
" a bitch ? " i say standing up
" yeah we didn't get a chance like you, he killed us a day after we got here " he says scoffing and walking into a corner
" that's not my fault ! " i yell
bruce looks at me disappointed
" yeah i guess you right " he says walking into the other little room where the bathrooms at
" bruce i- i didn't mean it " i say trying to stand up
but i end up falling and passing out

it's been about 10 minutes
and the door starts to open
so i pretend i'm asleep
" i know.. your not asleep " the grabber says in a high pitched voice
i open my eyes and sit up
" looks like your doing pretty well with that little problem on your side " he says walking over to me
" when can i go home " i say looking at him
" tell me your name ? " he says playing with my hair
" i.. " i stop my self
" leah.. tell him your name maybe he'll let you go like he did with finney " bruce yells while running out of the bathroom
i look at him

i wake up to gwen shaking me
i sit up
" robin i had a dream about leah " she says running to finneys room
" what ? " i say getting up and running into finneys room
" what was it about ? " i say sitting on finneys bed
" it was a house red bricks and a big tree in the front yard but all of the leaves had fallen off of it " she says
" let's go look for it " finney says walking out of his room
me and gwen get up and walk outside with finney
it's pouring rain
" let's go get some rain coats " finneys says
we walk inside and gwen goes to get hers
and finney gives me one of his
" i really miss leah " i say looking down
" we all do " finney says walking out of his room
i walk out too and then gwen runs up to us
" ready ? " she says
i smile and nod
we've been riding around for maybe 10 or 11 minutes and still no house with a dead tree and red bricks
after 20 more minutes of trying to find the damn house
we give up

" l- lily ryan " i say while looking down
" no leah- " bruce yells
he falls to the ground
" you can't end up like me please " he says while starting to cry
the grabber sets down a news paper

i look up at him
" i- " im cut off by him grabbing my hair and dragging me off the bed
the pain i'm feeling right now is so bad
" i was actually starting to like you " he says frowning
" get the fuck off " i yell while trying to scratch his hand
he pulls me up the stairs and i keep hitting my side on each step
" please let go " i say crying
and he does
and once again
i fall down the stairs
( AHAHAHAHAHA BUM )
i pass out
and he shuts the door to the basement and leaves
about an hour later
i wake up
my vision is blurry
my whole body hurts
my head hurts the most
i grab my head and see blood on my hand
" my- my head is bleeding.. isn't it " i say sitting up very slowly
i grab my nose
" my nose too " i say wiping the blood on my pants
" shit shit shit " i yell
" WHY DIDNT I JUST TELL HIM MY NAME ! WHY DIDNT I- i just tell him my name " i say starting to cry and put my head in my knees
" i told you leah " bruce says sitting next to me
" this is my fault bruce i'm sorry " i say putting my head on his shoulder
and i can feel his shoulder
i quickly back up from him
" bruce.. bruce no " i say yelling and backing up
" leah.. " he says standing up
" why- why can i feel you " i say starting to cry again
" am i dead ? " i say hitting the wall
" i tried to tell you leah " bruce says walking over to me
" we tried to tell you " griffin says
" no no no i needed to get out for my family ! for robin " i say crying
" we didn't say you were dead leah " paperboy says
" your not dead " bruce says
" then why can i feel you ? " i say crying
" why can you talk to us ? " griffin says
" i don't know " i say looking up at them
" we don't know either " bruce says bending down next to me
" leah i love you a lot so your gonna need to get out for me, for us " he says grabbing my chin
" b-but i don't know how " i say not crying anymore
he points to the phone on the wall
" the phone " i say confused
he nods
i try to get up but i can't
everything hurts and worse then before
" i can't move " i say
" you have to " " no matter how hard it is and how much pain it's bringing you it will be worth it " paperboy says
" bruce i can touch you and you can touch me " " so help me up " i say looking at bruce
he walks over to me and i grab his hands
i haven't felt my bestfriends touch in a while
and after this i won't every be able to
because he's gonna be free
i hug him
and he hugs back
and i start crying
" i-ive missed you so much bruce you don't understand " i say crying into his chest
" you were my bestfriend and i'm so so sorry i wasn't here for you when he got you " i say pulling away
" i love you bruce, your my bestfriend " i say smiling
" then get out for me " he says smiling back and i see a tear fall down his cheek but he quickly wipes it away
he helps me walk to the phone
and i grab it
i walk over to the hallway and see a lose tile so i rip it off since bruce and billy kept on pointing to it
and there's dirt underneath it
i grab the dirt and pack it in tight in the phone
i already know how to fight
so i don't need to practice that
but the only problem is that i'm too weak to fight anyone right now
" i can barley run " i say sitting on the mattress
" go to sleep leah " billy says
" we'll wake you up when he's coming down the stairs " griffin says
and i nod and start to fall asleep
about maybe 20 minutes later griffin wakes me up by yelling in my ear
" what " i scream and sit up
" he's coming down " griffin says
i nod and sit up
the basement door opens
" you- your the reason my friends are dead " i say pissed
" we're your friends? " griffin says smiling
" nobody even knew that small kid " " he deserved it " the grabber says laughing
im pissed
griffin didn't deserve that
none of them did
the adrenaline is really kicking in
and so is some anger
i get up
and grab the phone
" griffin didn't deserve shit " i yell
" none of them did " i say looking at him
" such a shame, bruce was screaming your name when he was down here " the grabber says sighing
" what.. " i say looking at bruce and then back at him
" fuck you " i say running up to him and hitting him the face with the phone
he tries to grab me but i duck and uppercut him
he falls back
he kicks my legs while he falls and i fall on my back
i'm not gonna die like this
i quickly get back up
with all the energy i have left
" go to hell " i say while choking him
" bruce was my bestfriend and you just killed him like he was nothing ! when he was everything to me " i say yelling
he passed out
but i don't want to kill him yet
i stop choking him
" leah he's not dead " billy says
i look at him and then the grabber
" i know " i say walking upstairs
i grab a knife from the kitchen and walk back down the stairs
the grabber is trying to get back up
" your gonna die like how they did " i say stabbing him in the back and the talking it out
" i love you too leah blake " i hear bruce say
" we love you leah " billy says
he yells in pain and then falls to the ground
i slit his neck
for billy
and then i cut his face
for bruce
i stabbed his back
for griffin
" did i- i just killed someone " i say scared of my own self
" i feel great " i say looking over to bruce, billy, and griffin
( girl whaa- t )
but their not there
" guys ? " i say walking around the basement
" bruce ? griffin ? bil- paperboy ? " i yell
their not anywhere
their gone for good
at least i hugged bruce for the lastime
i start to walk up the stairs and stab the lock on the door with the knife and then i walk out
it's pitch black outside
expect for the street lights
i start to run home
my head hurts
i just want to go home
be in robins arms
i get to my house and bang on my front door
it may be 12 am or 3 am
i don't know
the door opens
and i see finney standing there
" l- leah " he says looking at me and then at my hand
" fin- " my vision starts to get really blurry
and before we could say anything else
i pass out from my head being cut open on the stairs
blood loss i guess
i wake up to me being it the back of an ambulance
i sit up and see finney and gwen in a blanket
i get up from the bed they have in there
and go to sit with them
" leah ! we missed you " gwen says crying and hugging me
and so does finney
about 5 minutes later the police ask me something
" did you kill h- " but my mind cuts off everything around me
i stand up and push the officer out of the way
i stop and just look at robin
he's so handsome
today was the day i stopped taking my life for granted
the people in my life for granted
robin.. for granted
i run to robin
and we hug and fall to the ground
" i thought i lost you " he says crying
" i just wanted to be in your arms the whole time " i say crying too
" i- i love you leah " he says kissing me and then hugging me again
