You tried to stop him as he could accidentally rearrange the cat's intestine with that vigorous shaking of his. (This sounds weird for no reason tf)

You decided to crawl back under Jiwoo's bed and go back to sleep since he was back to being a sunshine.

Having woken up by the sound of the door opening, you crawl out from under Jiwoo's bed again and walk out to the living room, only to see him holding another. Injured. Cat. Bruh.
Jiwoo noticed you and smiled brightly, "Oh, (Name)! You're awake! Did you sleep well?"
"Hmm!"
You then pointed towards the cat with a deadpan.
"Oh! That's a long story hehe- I'll tell you after i finish patching up this cat!" He said, shining again.
Did he seriously forget you could heal? Well, you're just gonna wait for him to remember since you do not want to spend any of your energy on healing someone.
You decide to settle down next to him, away from the talking cat since you found him creepy.
You intently watched as he treated the injured cat.
Well, that was until you spotted a loaf of bread from the corner of your eyes which made you remember the fact that Jiwoo. Still. Hasn't. Eaten.
WEE WOO WEE WOO BIG EMERGENCY
You leaped up and grabbed the bread, then dashed towards the kitchen all while startling Jiwoo (who let out a small 'eek') and the yellow cat.
"Yah, (Name)! What happened?!" Jiwoo cried out.
"HmHkamoKdnsmM!" You keyboard smashed. (IDK WHAT TO DESCRIBE THIS AS LMAO HELP)
"Oh, okay!" Jiwoo said after he understood the language of the gods.
Poor Kayden was contemplating whatever the hell happened as he just stared unblinkingly at the pillow next to him. (Basically the image above but imagine a cat making that face instead of Yeonjun. Weird to imagine, ik)

Your eyes sparkle as you put a shit ton of Nutella (not sponsored) over your own toast and stack another toast over it.
You had made five grilled cheese sandwiches along with three Nutella (not sponsored) covered sandwiches. The three cheese sandwiches along with a Nutella (not sponsored) covered one for Jiwoo, and the rest for yourself.
You carry them out happily, humming your favourite song.
Only to see Jiwoo wiping his tears and the talking tom rip off sitting in front of him.

What was actually happening:
To say you were pissed off was an understatement.
Once Jiwoo noticed that there was a disturbance in the force, he whipped his head (ouch) towards your direction only to see you standing in the dark menacingly, holding a plate of shit ton of sandwiches.
Jiwoo immediately calmed you down before you could open your third fucking eye or sumn shit.
And now you both were sitting in front of the cat who was completely oblivious about the hell that would've unfolded if Jiwoo hadn't calmed you down.
You were nomming on your sandwich while Jiwoo was conversing with the cat.
"May I ask you something else Mr Kayden? Can you teach me more about awakened ones?"

So the cat was an awakened one too.

Jiwoo's scream startled you and now you paid attention to everything happening in front of you.

"These powers are called awakened abilities, which can be developed in many ways. Your powers make you move fast, and maybe even other special things."

You said while shoving the plate of the sandwiches you made towards his poor face.
"Hehe... I'm sorryyyy I'll eat now (nickname)." Jiwoo said apologetically.
"I was explaining something important..." Kayden said grumpily. Oh wait, that was just his face.
"I'm sorry Mr. Kayden! I didn't eat anything this evening." Jiwoo said and then began eating the yummy sandwiches you made. (You have already devoured yours)
Kayden turned towards you. "Hey kid, i wanted to confirm this before; You are an awakened one too, aren't you?"
You gave him a deadpan look. "Hmm" (Translation: no shit Sherlock)
You emitted a tiny pinkish flame on your finger and moved it towards the injured cat, deciding to finally heal most of the minor injuries. (plot reasons-)
"YOU COULD DO THAT AND YET YOU DIDN'T?!" Kayden exclaimed making Jiwoo choke.
"Hmm! :D"

You pat poor Jiwoo's back to soothe his coughing.
"Thanks (Name)!" Jiwoo smiled brightly at you and then continued devouring the sandwiches again. You taught him well.

"..." You.
Kayden turned his head away while you, once again, gave yourself a whiplash from turning your head so quick.
You immediately dashed towards the kitchen and came back with a shit ton (I'm using that word a lot today) of cat food along with a comically large bowl all while Kayden watched with fear and Jiwoo struggled with eating the third sandwich.
No one is sleeping hungry today, not on grandma (Name)'s watch. :).

You watched over the injured cat while the boy and the cat-man-thing were eating contently.
That was until you smelled a weird energy.
Your pupils shrunk, and you let out a growl once you felt it getting stronger, being more alert than before. The energy entered the house.
You turned towards the gray cat, ready to run with the cat, far away from the weird energy. But, you were too late since the cat jumped out of the house, wrecking some of the furniture in the process.
You wasted no time and immediately jumped after it, intending to chase it.
"(NAME)!" Jiwoo called out after you.
