Returning back to the normal schedule was not a big deal for the group. Most of them would rather not think about the ridiculous future that was a possibility. Harry had gone ahead with the adoption and adopted a very young and innocent Byakuran. The young albino was none the wiser of what his counterpart had done and as far as they were concerned would never have to deal with it. After a few digging around Tsuna and the others still had not found the wreath rings.
Tsuna, "Byakuran said he found it here, didn't he?"
Hayato, "Yeah, perhaps it was removed?"
Hana, "Maybe because this world is different. So the place is different?"
Kyoko, "That is possible."
Ryohei, "Extreme annoyance."
Kyoya, "Hn."
Mukuro, "Ku fu fu fu fu! I like the idea of joining the Vindice but they are mafia. I think maybe. Hmmm!"
Ken, "Wherever you go, we go boss."
MM, "Yes, Mukuro - sama.,"
Chikusa, "Nothing this side too."
Takeshi, "Apologies Tsu - chan. Nothing here."
Lambo, "Sorry Tsu - nii, Lambo - san failed."
Tsuna sighed, "It can't be helped. Let's return for now. We will figure things out."
Unknown to them they were being watched by a masked person who was interested by their behavior. Harry was frowning, he had a bad feeling the last few days and that feeling increased in the form of a letter. Kayeta and Sora were livid when they saw the letter and had taken it to Reborn straight away. The Hitman frowned at it, the rings were already destroyed and broken for months. They even forfeit the title and gave it to Xanxus who was actually interested in running the organization.
Harry, "It's a trap. How are Enma's Guardians doing?"
Reborn who now reached Harry's chest hummed, "They are healing slowly but surely. Having Enma around without being sealed helps as well."
Harry sighed, "I'm just glad Tsu - chan and Enma - chan was not around for that mess."
Reborn nodded, "Yes instead Tsunayoshi, Vongola Decimo is the one who had to deal with it."
Harry, "Poor guy never got a break. Although it was good way to distract him."
Reborn, "I hope that Bambi is doing well."
Flashback:
Tsunayoshi was helping his mom and the ladies serve the customers at the cafe. It was really nice to see his mom flutter around the kitchen and the customers. She really was suited to the service industry, in fact, he should have insisted his mother got a job from the start. She looks so happy making meals for everyone, why didn't he think about this again? Oh yeah! He was sealed making it difficult for him to focus on anything. Ugh! He was so cutting his old man off once he retired, this world just proved Iemitsu had no reason to do half the nonsense he had done. Harry had been helping him get over the negative effects but sometimes they showed their ugly heads during training.
Tsunayoshi, "Butterbeer and Cauldron cake, ice mice and sugar quills, for table four."
Customer, "Thank you."
Tsunayoshi, "Pumpkin pie and treacle tart for table ten."
Adelheid, "Tsunayoshi outside now."
Tsunayoshi, "Give me a minute to clean up."
Adelheid turned on Tsunayoshi and attacked him the moment he came out demanding where Enma was. Tsunayoshi however was no slouch at all and knocked her out before carrying her to Harry's place. He didn't want to leave her out in the open where anyone could jump her and hurt her. Harry frowned on sensing the state her flames were in and took her to the warded room.
Harry, "She needs her Earth flame the same way, storm needs the sky flame."
Tsunayoshi, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for Enma to get involved."
Reborn, "Accidents happen, Bambi. We can only do our best by adjusting ourselves to deal with it."
Tsunayoshi nodded, "That is true, I hope she gets better and Enma returns home soon."
Harry, "You don't want to leave?"
Tsunayoshi looked away guiltily, "I know, I have to return to my family. But I.. I am so happy here. I never even knew I wanted baby siblings so much till I met Sora and Kayeta."
Tsunayoshi looks at Harry with an emotional look, "I always wanted an older sibling I could depend on, no matter what. I want my mom to not be so lonely anymore and have friends she could depend on."
The next day however Kaoru attacked Mukuro who had retaliated using his Mist flames to put him to sleep and take him in. Adelheid had a blank expression as she watched Kaoru being brought in like he weight nothing to the mist. She had talked to Harry and the older Sky had assured her Enma was alright only time travelled. She was skeptical but after looking at Vongola Decimo properly realized he was definitely older and not a teen.
Adelheid, "I'll wait for Kaoru to wake up then see what to do."
Kaoru didn't stay unconscious for long, "Adelheid?"
Adelheid, "You awake then?"
Kaoru nodded, "What the fuck happened?"
Adelheid, "Enma time travelled to the future and we have an older Tsunayoshi here."
Kaoru, "Oh! Then who sent the letter saying Enma was kidnapped by the Vongola?"
Adelheid, "We will have to clean house it seems."
Flashback end!
The two had left the house after that and were observing the others around them. It took some time but they noticed the Mist flames that seemed to be floating around the Simon famiglia's island and requested help. Harry put on his battle suit and went to the island where they dealt with a mist controlled Ooyama and Shitt P. It took time to safely dispatch the two of them much to a certain someone's surprise.
A ghost appeared infront of Harry all angry and hissing at him for ruining his long laid plans. Harry raised his eyebrow at him as if to say, Anything else? Which pissed the spirit or rather Daemon off a lot and attacked Harry only to be blocked. Harry retaliates using magic to attack Daemon who had been surprised when he felt pain from the attack. The Mist user looked at where he felt pain and looked at Harry in fear.
Harry however didn't give him time to recover and gave the signal to his elements to capture the spirit. Daemon cursed them when he realized what had happened and tried to forcefully escape the ward that caught him. Daemon refused to go away easily making Harry exasperated at his stubbornness. Harry decided to say fuck it and used the stone to call Giotto and the others.
Giotto was shocked when he saw Daemon caught and chained by wards. He didn't think he would see his wayward Mist again honestly speaking. He had given up on seeing him again after the last quarrel they had. Daemon was not amused to see them too but before he could say anything else Harry demanded Giotto take his Mist and leave or else. Giotto nodded to Daemon's shock and took him forcefully, promising he would not cause trouble anymore.
Harry, "Those were quiet some adventures we had. I swear that was the Potter luck rearing it's head."
Reborn chuckled, "Indeed, I'm just glad our stint didn't attract the Vindice."
Verde who was looking like a fifteen year old laughed, "I'm sure the Vindice are busy trying to hunt Checkerface. I sent them a personal package of what we discovered about the curses."
Skull who looked the oldest among them winced, "Ooof! They probably were very pissed off then? I heard anyone who they see breaking the law gets thrown to prison without a chance to explain."
Fon who was looking like a twelve year old, "I have kept my clan who are directly involved in the underworld away from the areas Vindice is active in."
Harry looked between them, "I think, I'm more baffled by your growths. You'd think your growths would be at the same speed?"
Verde, "I believe it depends on exposure. Fon has been traveling to and fro, from China to Japan. Skull had stuck to you like glue for your protection. While Reborn and I have been going around the place searching for clues as well. We all want to teach Checkerface a lesson for what he did."
Harry, "I suppose so."
Tsuna, "We are back Harry - nii."
Harry smiled warmly at them, "Welcome back. How was your day?"
Enma, "It was good. My dear elements are much more calmer then before. They are happier and less suspicious of those around them."
Harry, "I'm happy to hear that."
Mukuro, "Harry, you will come to my graduation right?"
Harry, "Of course I will Mukuro. It's a big step as a teenager you know?"
Mukuro beamed at him, "It's next week."
Ryohei, "Right before ours, does that mean you will come to ours too?"
Kyoya looked at Harry, "Hn?"
Harry nodded, "I don't see why not? Have you all decided on which university you want to join?"
Mukuro grinned as he took out a pamphlet of the University he had chosen in India. He was taking up criminal psychology and becoming a cop, this would be his way to cut off most of the mafia from his life. He knew people quit the mafia before, Harry was proof of it, he was a Sky though he was civilian. That meant one of his ancestors was part of the mafia but they quit, not just them but Takeshi's father was retired too. It was not impossible.
Ryohei took out the pamphlet for a university in New York City which provided scholarship for boxing and merit. The college was on the same level as the Ivy League and Ryohei had won the scholarship fair and square among so many students. Harry encouraged him to follow his dreams and that despite what people said he could have more than one dream. His life was his to live after all.
Kyoya would be going to a local university and at the same time training with his Dad to become the head of the Hibari household. They were not expecting him to marry a girl but they expected grandchildren either through surrogate or IVF after Tsuna cleared his education. But that was a long way into the future for them to worry about so for the time being they didn't worry much.
Harry, "Now, what to do with this inheritance problem?"
Tsuna, "Should we call Xanxus and find out what is happening?"
Harry, "I think we should. This is not normal, no matter how you look at it."
Tsuna, "I don't want to go to Italy."
Kyoya, "We don't have to.
Harry, "Correct you lot have classes. I will deal with it, alright?"
Meanwhile in the probable future Reborn was giving Iemitsu hell for six months now because of what he had done to Tsunayoshi. Nana who overheard snippets of the conversation frowned at the implications. She had always believed in true love and for Iemitsu to deny her Tsu - chan his chance. That was just unforgivable! She could forgive his lies, maybe even his cheating and hiding but not if he broke her Tsu - chan's heart. That was the last straw on the camel's back.
She went to Xanxus with this and the man put two and two together and promised Nana he would keep bunny cousin away from Iemitsu. The man had fucked up really bad, it was not even funny at this point, sealing an active child? Oh no! That's where the lines of patience and tolerance are drawn. He was already annoyed by Iemitsu's constant interference in Varia's matters, but messing with the family's kids. Yeah, he was as good as cut off, not to forget Nana wanted a divorce.
Tsunayoshi was surprised when he heard his mother wanted to divorce Iemitsu. He knew his mother had been cold towards Iemitsu ever since he returned from the other dimension. He wondered what happened exactly and it was Chrome who told him of the fight that had occurred between Nana and Iemitsu during his absence. Tsuna was surprised and yet not he was about to say more but Kyoya came and took him out.
Kyoya was a very passionate lover, who knew? Tsuna did not, although his alternate self certainly did. He took things easy and slow for half a year then started to get physically intimate with him. Kyoko who heard they were together gushed about her ultimate ship finally getting together. Tsuna sweat dropped, how in the world, did he not notice she was a fangirl? She helped him make dinner dates for Kyoya as Tsunayoshi's cooking was best next to Nana. She insisted it was his strong point so he should use it. As far as Tsuna was concerned their relationship was going well and everyone was happier even Takeshi and Hayato. He gave the two his blessings and who knew Hayato could blush so adorably. Takeshi was lucky.
