After waiting for so long, Solar finally unlocked his 3rd tier. But.... He doesn't seem to be happy about it...
Why is that?
"Solar? Are you okay?" The said person turned to his side, Gempa's worried eyes looking at him.
"Yeah, I'm okay. Don't worry about me" he reassured him, to tell the truth, Solar isn't okay.
He feels rather scared.....
'I've unlocked Gamma now... Yet I don't feel accomplished... Happy.... Why..?'
Maybe because he keeps overthinking?
What if he will become like Retak'ka?
What if he can't control it?
What if he accidentally kills someone?

"Solar."
"Huh...?" He snapped out of his thoughts as he felt arms warping around him, pulling him in a warm and comfortable hug.
"Don't think about it too much.... I'm sure you'll able to control your 3rd tier. I trust you." His brother spoke to him with a soft voice. Solar remained silent.... Gempa didn't wait for an answer. He knew Solar can control his 3rd tier.
"Say... Do you wanna train with me and the others? To control your 3rd tier?" Solar looked at Gempa with a hesitant one.
"I'm not.. Sure.." He stated, looking down at his notes.
"SOLAR!! SNAP OUT OF IT!!"
GASP──
Solar woke up drenched in sweat, hand clutching his chest, as he breathes heavily. As he look up, he could see concerned eyes staring at him.
"Thank goodness, you're awake.." Gempa sighed in relief, seeing his brother awake from his nightmare. The latter looked at him slightly confused, nightmare? What nightmare?
"What... Happened...?" He asked.
"well....." Gempa explained everything to Solar, as the other listened, clutching the white sheets as his bangs covered his eyes. Quite hard to read his expression.
"I see..." He mumbled.
"Don't blame yourself, Solar. At least no one is hurt, right?" His brother smiled softly at him, but that soon got replaced with Gempa being all bloody and staring at him with those lifeless eyes.
"Sol? Are you okay?" As he blinked, everything seemed turned normal...
"....yeah... I-... I'm fine..." His voice sounded so quiet... As if he's whispering.
"I'll go back to sleep..." He laid back down on the bed as he covered himself with the blanket. Gempa could only give the younger one a sympathetic (?) look.
Before gempa left the room, he made sure the nightlight is on, just in case Solar wakes up in the middle of the night, and not freak out if he finds himself literally surrounded by darkness.

Heavy breathes and heavy footsteps echoed through the hallways, Solar stopped for a moment to catch his breath, apparently. He's running around from his old enemy, an enemy that haunts him even now.
"Oh Solar~ where are you my dear subject~?"
Solar's breath hitched as he heard the voice, metal clanking (?) On the walls of TAPOPS can be heard.
"Our experiment haven't finished yet, why are you running away?"
He was about to run away when his arm is suddenly got grabbed by the person─ no, by the Doctor.
Indigo eyes staring menacingly at scared silver ones.
"Found you."
Solar tried to get out of the grip, but it was too strong and too tight.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!!"
A light beam suddenly emerged, making the doctor let go of him as it grazed through his cheek, leaving a cut as blood leaked out.
As he turned back his attention to his patient. The light element seemed to disappear.
"So you wanna play...? Then let's play~"
Eyes full of sinister as he licked the blood of his lip, glowing faintly.

"Where did he go?!?!"
"I don't know! All he did was literally attack me and disappeared!"
"He teleported you idiot! He can literally teleport everywhere in a blink of an eye without screaming his ability!"
"Stop fighting you two!"
"We need to find him!"
"Okay then genius. How are we suppose to find him in this big-ass station?!?!"
"Does anyone has his location?!"
"Guys!! I have his location!!"
"####! You're a life saver!"
"Quick go to his location before anything happens!"

Solar sighed deeply as he leaned down on the wall, catching his breath as he calls himself.
'Did I lose him...?'
He knew better than anyone that it's hard to lose the doctor, especially when he literally memorized the whole station.
'Just how did he get here...? We still haven't met yet... He's here already... What's going on?'
He tried to think any possible way, he haven't done anything yet, well── other than losing control of Gamma for the 3rd time and almost killing his brothers ag─
'No! Stop thinking that!' Solar shook away the thoughts, he curled himself up as he stared deeply at the floor.
"...."
"In the end..... I always end up killing someone..."
Solar wished he didn't had the power of light. How ironic.
It's called "Light" yet it's used to kill people. Not to save people.... Just how cruel fate is?
'No matter what happens.... Don't blame yourself.'
Said a distant voice in his head.
Just as Solar was about to leave, he felt an object coming to his way, he barely dodged it as it let a cut on his cheek.
"Play time's over, subject 207."
Fear written all over his face as the doctor stepped out of the shadows, sinister smile on his face. Despite the fear he's feeling, the tips of his hands glowed as he got into a battle-stance.
"Let us dance shall we~?"

"SOMEONE HOLD HIM OFF!"
"GUYS I HAVE THE ANTIDOTE!"
"###! FREEZE HIM! QUICK!"
"SHIT!! HE'S ACTIVATING HIS SOLAR ECLIPSE!"

Solar widen his eyes in horror, his dark purple eyes slowly turned to his original silver ones.
Gempa and the others sighed in relief when they saw Solar finally stopped attacking.
'I──i almost killed them──'
He fell to his knees as thoughts clouded his mind, tears formed in his eyes. His breath hitched, once again.
'I almost killed them.'
'Why?'
'Why is it me always?'
Despite being slightly injured, Ice went to his brother and hugged him, as he buried Solar's head to his chest.
'Just what kind of hell you've been through?'
Ice knew better than anyone that Solar often has anxiety and would often get anxiety attacks, Sometimes Hali comforts Solar but it's mostly Ice because of how many times the Ice element hangs out in the lab with the youngest element.
He often comforts him when something triggers his trauma, Ice also knew how his brother's power's backlash.
Even if it's hidden away by the gloves, he knew there's burns beneath it.
'For once, stop hiding whatever your going through, Solar...'

Having the doctor doing experiments on their patient is something you don't see everyday.
So yeah, I'm keeping that way lol.
