"Max will you stop being a little shit and just take photos for my instagram?" It was barely even 10am and Max was already pissing around "Alright, alright. Calm down, I'm taking them now" He smiled and then thankfully focused on getting the photos. "Thank you Casanova" I kissed his cheek once he finished and handed my phone back "Yeah yeah, let's go" He picked up his back pack and we made our way out of his drivers motor home and to his car that was parked just outside.

Like yesterday, Max and I spent sometime just outside the paddock talking and taking photos with fans. "Lucia! Lucia! Can you please get Max to sign this?" A girl asked, handing me a hat "Of course" I laughed and walked over to the other side "Hey, Max can you sign this?" I asked and he quickly turned to me and did his signature "Thank you" I smiled and then walked back to the fan "Omg thanks so much!" The fan beamed, putting the hat on.
"Cia! Let's go!" Max said, saying goodbye to the fans, Max swung his arm round my shoulders I could hear the fans scream behind us "You wanted to keep it private Huh?" I laughed "We are, we used to do this anyway" Max shrugged. Rolling my eyes i lifted his arm off my shoulders and we met Jos and Sophie at the Red Bull motor home.
"Lucia my love!" Sophie squealed and then gave me a quick hug "Hey Soph" I replied "Good to see you again Lucia" Jos acknowledged me and I smiled back "Hey Jos, you too".
"Uhm ok, anyway I have to get to a meeting" I announced "I'll see you in a bit" I turned to Max and gave him a kiss before exiting the room "Have a good meeting Cia" Max said as I walked away and I turned back to look at him.
Max Verstappen
Standing in the room with my mum and dad. My mother was gushing over Lucia whilst my dad rolled his eyes "You got a problem dad?" I asked "No son" He replied "Really? You were just rolling your eyes?" I folded my arms, shifting my weight onto my right foot "Max" I heard my mum's voice "Alright I was. Problem?" Jos snarled "That's my girlfriend, who you were all for asking her to be my girlfriend a couple months ago" I replied "Your Mother asked me to spark an interest. Lucia-" I cut my dad off as soon as he mentioned Lucia's name "Don't you fucking dare talk about Lucia". "Max all I'm saying is, is she worth it?" Jos questioned, I let out a horse laugh from disbelief "Okay Max why don't you go to your drivers room and Jos that's enough" My mum tried to disperse the situation "Don't talk about Lucia like that again otherwise I swear to god Jos" - "MAX THAT IS ENOUGH" My mum cut me off and I rolled my eyes, needing to go find Lucia.
Searching the hallways of the Red Bull motor homes, it was clear that Lucia hadn't finished her meeting yet as none of the engineers were around.
Heading out into the paddock, I went for a walk. Shoving my hands into my jeans pockets and my flat cap on, I was stopped every now and again for pictures and sign caps for fans.
"Hey mate" My old teammate smiled as I walked past McLaren "Hey Danny" I walked towards the Australian "Shouldn't you be at Red Bull? You're not even in your suit yet?" Daniel questioned me "Lucia's in a meeting and my dad pissed me off so I went for a walk" I shrugged my shoulders "Ah so nothing's changed since I used to be your teammate then" Daniel said, referring to my dad "Unfortunately not" I let a sarcastic laugh.
"Max! Time to get ready mate!" My performance coach, Bradley, jogged towards me as I had let time run away with its self whilst I spoke with Daniel "I'll catch up with you later mate, we'll have drinks sometime yeah?" I said as I started to walk away and Daniel in reply held his thumb up before being directed back into the McLaren motor home.
"Has Lucia finished with her meeting yet?" I asked as we marched back to Red Bull "Yeah, she's in the garage talking to Christian about something" Bradley replied "But you speak to her after" He waggled his finger at me "Alright, alright" I replied and we then made it back to the motor home.

"Yeah that's fine" I smiled as I ended my conversation with Christian "Perfect, I'll leave you to it" He replied and I turned back round to my computer and continued to look through data.
"Hey sweetheart" A Dutch accent rang through my ears "Casanova" I replied not even turning round "What are you doing?" Max flung his arm round my shoulder and looked at the computer screen "Looking through the data from the free practices and looking where we could go faster" I replied "Ah look here. Compared to last year you are 0.171 off the pace in sector 2 mainly through Maggots and Becketts" I pointed to the screen "Oh right. So how would I fix that then?" He asked "Well I was thinking if you kept it in a lower gear and let the engine revs stay high, you'll have more power when coming out. The only thing is you'll have to make sure it doesn't rev too high" I replied "You really are a smart little thing" Max nudged my shoulder with his "I like to think so. But thank you" I grinned back.

After ironing out the kinks in FP3, it was time for qualifying. "Okay Max you have 1 minute and 52 seconds to get round for the flag "Ok, understood" Max replied and then got on with his warm up lap.
Sitting up on the pit wall with my head set on and my fingers crossed as I watched Max complete his lap.
Hamilton went fastest with a 1:27.038, a new lap record "Oh fuck" I dipped my head.
"Lucia that was a good lap! Where am I?" Max radioed as soon as he had crossed the line "Uhm P2 Max" I replied "What? P2? Who went fastest?" Max argued "Hamilton with a new lap record" I told him "Fuck sake of course" Max huffed and then turned the radio off.
Standing at the barrier as Max got out his car, the crowed roared as Hamilton and Ezralia stood and waved. "You've still got tomorrow Max" I said as he came over to celebrate with the team "Yeah" He replied nodding his head "I've got it tomorrow" Max leaned in and gave me a hug and I wrapped my arms round his neck tightly.
