hey everyone !,i totally did not completely forgot to write because i was playing Dungeons and dragon with my friends everys single day and night ,i was also watching anime and reading a lot of manga too....,i watch date a live( the whole show in a single day/night,took me around 21h nonstop,i was challenging myself there) ,i re-watch overlord season 1-2-3 to prepare for season 4(also start to read the manga),i read a lot of manwha and webtoon too.
my friend( the one with whom i had a big arguments) and i manage to have a normal talk (several talk actually) and we end up apologies to each others ,i think and hope we are on a good track to forget about the whole argument (i mean if your a guy you know that we can just insult each other or punch each other and still be friend in the ends,while this argument was pretty heavy..i think our friendship is stronger than that)
anyways,here's the chapter,hope you enjoy
accelerator was standing in front of the door of yomikawa's apartment,he had cut his hair....at least he tried,it was done poorly and it look like a mess a and it was still pretty long
(his hair are like that,sorry for the people who prefer short hair accelerator,but i just love it like that)
he was just staring at the door since almost 5 minute,not wanting to go inside,knowing it'll be a lot of troube and of course he will have to be the one to fix them
he take a deep breath

accelerator simply open the door
and was great by having index suddenly crashing on him,he manage to catch and didn't even flinch using his power
index was basically hugging him,she seem to have been flee someone and try to escape by jumping.
index look up at accelerator
"hey,white hair you back !"said index

index immediatly oblige as she realise where she was
accelerator look inside the apartment so see stiyl magnus who definitly was the one who try to catch index,sphynx (the cat) was hissing at stiyl

behind stiyl,accelerator could see yomikawa trying to separate shokuhou and esther like two children fighting by standing between them

accelerator stare at the girls

esther and shokuhou immediatly went on the couch at top speed

he had a suddenly memory of something similar happening to him,except for him it wasn't a priest but a guy with a white coat and that reallly put him in a bad mood,a really bad one and that could felt in the entire room

yomikawa simply follow his recommendation and went to seat on the couch
shokuhou get up and go near yomikawa and observe the wound too

at some it start raising one of his paws...aiming at accelerator's long hair
"somebody take that of me before i throw that cat outside and i won't use the stair not the elevator!"said accelerator as he definitely hated the feeling even if the scene seem pretty wholesome from an exterioir point of views

index was a bit surprise by the sudden excuse of accelerator,he seemed sincere

it's pretty rare to have someone like accelerator be able to actually say sorry like that,especially his spot as the number 1 of the city and power basically made him,it seem almost strange that accelerator was so humble about it
yomikawa,yoshikawa and last order had explain a bit of accelerator past,according to yoshikawa even before taking a bullet to the head,accelerator didn't really care about being number 1,mostly because it didn't mean anything to regular bullies that were still trying their chance at him.
and after the bullet,accelerator became way more aware of his own mortality and weakness which just end up making him more dangerous than before.
and so far index had only seen a really calm accelerator,he seem to alway be in control of the situation and it was admirable and not scare of anything
but the sudden rage and anger that he express earlier was a proof that when it come to people he care,he doesn't stay calm....or least he completely loose that gentle that he has with the people close to him and can become a terrifying monster,the devil literally

she use index blood sample and a bit of the genetic data of acceleraotor that she already had because she was one of the scientist observing him
her room was already like a small lab,so she easily could do a comparaison of their DNA,however it was a bit long,becaus she didn't the money to buy to have highly efficient and fast equipement,so the DNA test took a whole,but she since she had modified the equipement she bought,she still have an insane amount of detail of the genetics of index and accelerator
she had start the DNA test since like night and was hoping it was done by the morning,turn out it was just done about now
she came back to the couch and take a look at the DNA of index
"what's that ?asks misaka misaka as she intruded yoshikawa's private life"
"nothing just index DNA card,i was just curious about what level 5 she could be if she was an esper,based on genetic alone i mean ,because you know that while genetic have a lot of impact on an esper levels there's a few other variable that link to the personnality and experience of the esper and since index have some extreme intellectual ablitities like accelerator,i couldn't hold back my curiosity"
accelerator and index couldn't hear what was yoshikawa talking about because they busy cooking
well,more like accelerator was trying to cook while index was blowing everything up
yoshikawa just run a small calculation
"now,i'll just have to wait a few seconds"said yoshikawa was cracking her fingers
"hey accelerator ,index ! i've got to show you something"called yoshikawa

"that would kinda inaccurate,gene does have a huge impact on the potential on an esper,but it's like 60% impact,the rest are unknown variable or mostly hard to explain since it's to the mental abilities and experience of the esper,the value set in his reality which can change with a traumatic experience and other similar things"

even index didn't seem interest at first,she still got curious and watch
and 10 second later,the result of the calculation came in

meanwhile accelerator didn't seem THAT surprise by the result,he had a look of shock for a second,but he quickly hide knowning that index potential was almost an evidence ,just knowing her ability to hold a whole library in her head
yoshikawa analyse the genes with more accuracy again
"her genes are amazing,she wouldn't need any kind of training,she would be a level 5 from the start,it's like she was born to be an esper...i'm pretty genes with genes like she also had a lot of chance of her becoming a gemstone kinda like accelerator"said yoshikawa
"wait what ?"react accelerator
"you didn't knew your genes are also perfect from being an esper ? even without the program developped by academic city,you would have probably gain a supernatural power naturaly after a few years probably around puberty since that when the body goes throught a lot of changes
"i didn't knew about that"said accelerator
"well,every gemstone have insane genes...and after a few blood test and observation,the scientist of academy city deduce that most of the level 5s would probably have awaken powers naturally while growing up,i thought you knew that,it's pretty old knews...Maybe kihara amatta didn't tell on purpose to make you believe you were his creation"

index just went in shock on the couch opposing yoshikawa and last order,accelerator followed her
meanwhile last order was pouting a bit,knowing she could only at best reach level 4

"i don't really know...I mean it's like it matter or not....i guess i should be happy about it....but i'm mostly confuse...i mean i was fully raise by the church,it's weird for my body"said index
they both look at yoshikawa who was like a crazy scientist,she was typing to fast on the keyboard
"it's like her genes are almost perfect.they're pretty similar to accelerator"said yoshikawa as she start comparing the genes of the teenager in front of her
yoshikawa suddenly stare at accelerator and index who were sit next to each other then at the computer
"your genes...from the both of you are...like really similar...like in a weird way"
"what do you mean?" asks index and accelerator while last order was still pouting
"like..the same ?"suddenly said yoshikawa
"give me a second...."
she suddenly run another kind of calculation
"hey yoshikawa,don't be joking now"said accelerator as he get up and was about to reach the computer
"just give me 3 seconds"beg yoshikawa
" aaaaand done!"
the hand of accelerator was literally on the computer
there was a heavy silent as yoshikawa's eyes widened,she even start sweating,it seem like she couldn't believe what she was looking at
"what ? just show the thing!"said accelerator as he tried to take the computer
"nope!"said yoshikawa as she move the computer closer to her and almost hug it
accelerator noticed that yoshikawa's eyes were trembling in shock,so did index and last order
"i think...you should sit "said yoshikawa to accelerator
after a second of hesitation
"tch..."accelerator went back and sit next to index
"so.......i just did a DNA comparaison between you two....to know the pourcentage of much you genes were similar...and mostly the same"said yoshikawa
"what does it mean ?....in the book i read about biology 2 days ago,does kind of calculation are made to see if two person are related or not"said index confuse
"quick question index....where do you came from ?"asks yoshikawa while slowly sweating
"England,i'm born there at least that's what i was told"said index
"ok...and accelerator ?"said yoshikawa
"this city or at least japan,my parents left me when i was very young around 2 or 3 yearls olds,i don't even remember their face,so i don't know if they had any particular physical traits nor their origins and me being albinos make it very hard to know if i have particular traits and since there a lot of foreign people coming at academic city around the time i was born and left alone... there's a chance my parents come from another country"said accelerator,he knew where this was going even he really didn't like it
"so..."yoshikawa was a bit hesitating
"accelerator...you're 16 right ?"asks yoshikawa trying to delay the inevitable

"14 near 15 probably,my memory lost due to magic make it hard t know"said index

"just say the number "said accelerator who just wanted to end it
"yeah...stop fooling around"said index who start sweating too
and suddenly last order jump on yoshikawa and look on the screen,because her curiosity got the better of her
"25 % match ! says misaka misaka as she finally sees the screen"
after that last order is push away by yoshikawa as the adult was heavly sweating
meanwhile accelerator was staring in the air,just froze,his own brain basically just shut down
"what ?...why does he react like to such number ?"asks index completely lost not knowing what having 25% identical genes with someone else meants
"25% i mean it's not much"
"25 % ?itn't that a lot ?asks misaka misaka remembering a book one of the sisters read ?"
yoshikawa basically holding her head because of a sudden head ache [i shouldn't have done that,i shouldn't have done that!]
yoshikawa slowly close the computer

index stare at accelerator and grab him by the shoulder as he barely react
"please say something!what does 25% match mean ?!"ask a desperate index
accelerator not reacting index turn toward yoshikawa
"what does it mean ?!"asks index who was sweating too and a whole
"we-well....the more DNA your share with someone...the closer your are to that person in the family tree"
"if two person share a 100% DNA,there are twin or clone"
"if two person shares 50%DNA...one of them is either the dad/mom of the other,or the two person are direct siblings
"and if two person shares 25% DNA.....it mean they are either grand-parent and grand-children....or in your case.....h-hal-"start yoshikawa
