Waking up in Max's motor home, we were at my home circuit. Silverstone. Yesterday was media day but I had it off so I went to visit my dad. I quickly got up and grabbed the orange pill bottle from my toiletries bag and took them before Max woke up.
"Morning Maxy" I smiled as I laid on his chest "Morning Cia, are you excited for today?" He asked "You bet I am, my dad is going to love it" I replied "And he can't wait to meet you" I continued. I still hadn't told my dad that Max and I were together but that's what I was going to do today.
"Max?" I yawned "Yes Lucia" He replied with his eyes shut "Can we go get a coffee?" I asked as the ones that are free taste like shit "Do we have to?" Max opened his eyes and looked at me "Yes" I replied "Fine, let's go" Max sat up and I laughed knowing I have this man wrapped round my pinkie finger.

As the drivers motor home camp sight was a little too far to walk, Max and I got into his car and then drove to the track.
Getting out, I was going to let Max walk first and I follow a couple minutes behind him however the boy insisted I walked in with him "Fine, let's go" I rolled my eyes as he stomped his feet like a child.
"Max! Lucia!" The fans at the entrance yelled, waving as I walked past I took pictures with a few fans as Max was signing a few shirts. "I love you, you are so cool!" A girl coo'd "Thank you my love!" I smiled giving her a hug and then took a picture with her.
"Cia you ready?" Max yelled as he had finished signing things "Sorry guys, have a good day" I apologised to the group of Red Bull fans I was talking too, and then walked over to Max.
"Fun?" He asked as we walked "Yeh, they were nice" I smiled "Good" Max threw his arm over my shoulders and we walked down the paddock.
"Ciaaaaa!" Lio ran and launched himself in my arms as I was now kneeled to his level "Hey Lio, I've missed you" I picked the little boy and placed him on my hip "Lio what about me?" Max questioned "Uncle Max!" Lio beamed and then leant towards his uncle, Max took Lio from my arms and we walked to the Red Bull hospitality where Victoria was standing "Hey Tori!" I pulled Max's sister in for a hug "Luka!" I waved at the five year old that was hidden behind his mums legs "Hi auntie Cia" He gave me a shy wave and then Victoria prompted him to give me a hug, like he was told to Luka gave my legs a hug and I placed my hand on his back "Sorry, he's shy" Victoria said "Oh no it's all good, I was like that when I was young" I replied then I felt a small human run into the back of my legs "Lio!" I laughed and the little boy grabbed onto my hand "Sowy auntie Cia, uncle Max made me do it" he pointed to Max who was behind us with a smirk on his face. "Come on love, let's go eat" Victoria smiled at Lio but the child refused to let go of my hand "No, Cia!" He stomped his little feet "He can spend the day with me?" I offered "Are you sure? He would love that!" Victoria beamed "Yes of course, no problem at all" I replied, looking down at Lio he in return gave my a toothy grin.
Following Victoria into the Red Bull private family room, Sophie, Max's mum, wrapped her arms round me and gave a tight hug "Hey Sophie" I smiled, hugging her back "Hey, lovely" She replied, releasing me from her grip "How have you been?" She asked "I've been well, what about you?" I smiled "I've been good" She replied "Moeder are you giving my girlfriend a hard time?" Max walked over and then tucked me under his arm "No! I was simply- wait? Girlfriend?!" Sophie's eyes widened "Yeah" I nodded as she looked at me "Oh my goodness!" She pulled both Max and I into a hug "Jos!" Sophie called out for her ex husband "Look at how adorable they are together! Your son finally asked Lucia to be his girlfriend!" She shrieked, laughing Jos gave Max and I a quick hug and returned to talking with Luka "Shhh mamma, the team doesn't know yet" Max said as his mum wouldn't stop talking about us and the future plans, which both Max and I laughed and rolled our eyes at.

"He really could not have given a shit" Max spat as only him and I entered his drivers room "Huh?" I questioned, standing in between his legs as he lent on the table "My dad, he couldn't have given any more shits that we were together, he only gave us a brief hug because moeder was there" Max explained in an annoyed voice "Maxy, who cares? Because I don't. You know what Jos is like, hell even I know what he's like. What else were you expecting?" I replied placing my hands on the side of his face "I don't know, something I guess? I spent my whole childhood trying to make him proud and nothing fucking worked. He saw how much I liked you when we had the family dinner a couple months ago and he was the one who encouraged me to ask you out. But when I actually do and I've taken his advice, he couldn't give a shit" Max went off on a tangent and I pulled him in for a hug "Maxy, I'm sorry you feel like that and I'm sorry that Jos is the way he is" I said in the crook of his neck but it probably came out muffled.
"Yo Max, time to get in the car!" JP, one of the mechanics knocked on his drivers room door "Alright, I'll be right out mate!" Max replied and then turned towards me. Cupping both my cheeks, Max gave me a kiss and I smiled as my favourite sight of him is when he's got his racing suit on and the arms are tied round his waist "Good luck kiss" Max said once he pulled away "Like you need luck" I laughed which earned me another quick peck on the lips before we walked out the door like none of it happened.
"Papa!" I beamed as I saw my dad standing in the Red Bull pits with a head set on "Ah Lu! There you are!" He gave me a big hug "Sorry I couldn't come see you earlier, I had to handle something with Max" I gave him an apologetic smile "Don't you worry about that my dear, a lovely lady show'd me around" My dad replied "Oh I'm glad it was all ok then" I smiled with relief knowing I didn't just ditch my dad and he had find his own way around. "Auntie Cia!" Lio yelled as the Verstappen clan entered the pits "Hey handsome" I picked up the little boy as he ran to my legs "Hey dad can I talk to you later? I have something to tell you" I turned back towards my dad "Of course my darling, come find me later" He said and then turned back to the mechanic he was talking to before.
"Hey Lio, you wanna sit up at the pit wall with me?" I asked "Yes, yes! Yessss!" He bounced up and down in my arms. Chuckling, Lio and I walked over to the pit wall and he sat next to me on the stall. "Can you sit here for me whilst I give these to your brother?" I asked and then looked up at Christian to keep a quick eye on him.
Jumping off the pit wall, I grabbed a pair of headphones that were connected to the radios and gave them to Luka as even though he didn't want to sit on the pit wall I was sure he'd still want to be involved.
"Hey Luka, look what I have for you" I walked over to the little boy who was sitting with his mum at the back of the garage. Taking them out my hands an immediate smile grew on his face "These headphones are connected to mine and Max's radios. So you can hear everything too" I beamed and Luka's eyes lit up at the thought of being involved and thought of "Thank you Auntie Cia!" He smiled and then held his arms out for a hug "You are so welcome" I hugged him tightly back "Thank you so much Lucia" Victoria smiled "It's all good. I have to get back to the pit wall so I'll see you guys after" I waved to Luka and then looked up to Sophie and Jos who were sitting behind them. Sophie smiled at me and I smiled back.
Walking back past Max's car, he held his hand out the top and I gave him a fist bump as I walked past.
"Let's have some fun in FP1 Max, also Luka and Lio can hear you" I said once I had my head set on.

After both FP1 & 2 had finished, I brought my dad up to Max's drivers room so he could finally meet Max properly.
"So dad, I just wanted to tell you that Max and I are together" I smiled, just before opening the door "Really?" He questioned "Yes dad, he's my boyfriend" I replied "Well then I'm happy for you my darling" Was all he said before bursting into Max's driver's room, threatening to hurt him if he hurts me.
Standing behind my dad with my head in my hands, I mouthed the word 'Sorry' to Max who was taking it like a champ "Are we clear?" My dad raised his brows at Max "Yes sir" Max replied, giving Max a nod dad turned round to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek before leaving.
"Your dad will end my F1 career by hurting me if I hurt you?" Max teased "Oh shut up" I rolled my eyes playfully and Max pulled me into him "I wouldn't mess with British dads if I were you, especially the ones that were brought up London" I shrugged "Well it's good then I don't see my self getting my F1 career ruined ever" Max said against my lips.
