"HAVE A GOODNIGHT Y'ALL," Aurora said to her workers as she and Jaseh walked through the hair salon, Jaseh busy munching on the sour Skittles that his mother had recently bought him when he started complaining that he was hungry.
It was nearly eight o'clock at night, meaning that Aurora's store was on the verge of closing until the morning, and it was finally time for her and Jaseh to leave so that they could get home.
Usually Aurora would've dropped Jaseh off at home after she picked him up from school because Jeremy normally was there to watch him but today he wasn't which resulted in Aurora having to take him to work with her. Fortunately for her though, Jaseh was well behaved so she didn't have to worry about him acting up.
"Bye Ms.Rose. Bye Jaseh," the remaining workers said, waving to the mother and son duo as they continued making their way to the doors of the establishment.
"Bye guys," Jaseh said, waving his tiny hand that didn't have candy in it at the workers, making a big smile start to spread across Aurora's face.
She loved how happy, loving, and kind her son was towards everybody, unless you did something to make him dislike you,and hoped that he would never change his ways when he started to get older. She also loved how he didn't act nor look like his dad in any way shape or form.
Continuing to make their way to exit, the two soon got to it, making Aurora push it open with her hip, the cool winter breeze hitting her and her son in the face, almost knocking the sweet item out of Jaseh's hand.
"What do you wanna eat tonight Jay," Aurora asked Jaseh since she didn't have the energy to make dinner. She also didn't want to make it since Jeremy more than likely didn't take the chicken out of the freezer like she had asked him to do when he got home from work.
"Chick-fil-A," Jaseh excitedly yelled out into the air making Aurora shake her head and lightly chuckle at her son's fast food choices as she unlocked her car from halfway across the parking lot.
Normally kids of Jaseh's age would ask for chicken nuggets from McDonald's and be satisfied but Jaseh had an expensive food taste for someone so young, only because of his mother that spoiled him ever since he was born.
Still making her way to her 2022 black Range Rover, Aurora soon got to it, making her open the passenger door that was right behind the driver's seat before helping her son into his booster seat. Once he got inside, she made sure to strap him in correctly then closed the door back so she could get inside.
She opened the driver's door and got in, shrugging her white moncler winter coat off of her shoulders and placing it in the passenger seat next to her that way she wasn't hot when she turned the heat on to warm up the freezing cold vehicle.
When she got in all the way she closed and locked all four doors back that way nobody could run up to her car, open the door and harm her or Jaseh.
"You ready baby," Aurora asked, looking at her son through the rearview mirror as she brought the seatbelt across her slim body before buckling it in.
"Yes mommy I am," Jaseh said, kicking his feet back and forth while he smiled at his mother, showing off some of the sour candy that he was currently eating.
Hearing her son say that made Aurora turn the car on, the heat and radio turning on when she did as well, before she backed out of the reserved parking space that only she was allowed to park in and sped off to the closest Chick-fil-A.
30 minutes later
"Thank you," Aurora nicely said grabbing the two Chick-fil-A bags full of food from out of the worker's hands before placing them in her lap to make sure that all of the items she ordered were there, including the sauces.
When she realized all the food she got, as well as the drinks she had gotten before the food were correct, she wasted no time placing the white and red paper bag in her dark red leather passenger seat and drove off so that the car behind her could pull up and get their dinner.
"Mommy can I get my fries," Jaseh asked while Aurora was looking back and forth to make sure that there were no oncoming cars. Once she realized that it was all clear, she quickly pulled out of the Chick-fil-A exit and into the lane of cars that were sitting in front of a red light.
"Here you go baby," Aurora said digging in the bag with one of her hands for the hot fries while the other was scrolling on her phone through her message, missed calls, and voicemails since she had gained a lot throughout the day.
Clicking on the first voicemail she saw as she gave her son part of his meal like he requested, Aurora then turned up the volume on her white iPhone 11 that way she could hear what the person that sent her a voicemail had to say.
"Good evening Mrs.Wilson. This is Dean Williams from Florida International University and you've been chosen to be a substitute for one of our teacher's that are going on maternity leave. All the information has been emailed to you and you would be starting next Monday. If you have any problems contact me at this number or email me."
"Mommy who was that," Jaseh curiously asked putting one of the salty fries in his mouth while Aurora sat there surprised at the fact someone had actually contacted about her teaching.
Usually she wouldn't have to worry about that happening because she had only applied for it to get the extra money, it not working out in her favor after she did considering months went by and she didn't get any calls but now that she did she was in shock.
She knew that this was her first time teaching people in a classroom though, adults at that, so she was going to have to make a good first impression that way more people would recommend her at different schools.
"Well baby mommy's working somewhere new on Monday and they just called me about it," Aurora said, locking her phone back before placing it in the small slot behind the cupholders as soon as she saw the light that she was sitting at turn green.
"Can I come with you please," Jaseh asked, making Aurora smile. She loved how attached her son was to her and how he loved coming to work with her, even if he barely did anything. It was like a mother and son bonding time for the two, even though that always happened because of what Jaseh's father was like.
Unfortunately for Jaseh though he wouldn't be able to go to work with his mother this time and it hurt Aurora to tell him that because she didn't like seeing her son sad or disappointed because his emotions affected her.
Before Aurora could tell her son 'no', she heard her phone loudly ringing, the noise filling the car since her phone was connected to the vehicle making her look up at the screen that was her radio and see it was Jeremy, her mood now changing.
Pressing the green accept icon on the touch screen, Aurora soon heard her husband's annoying voice say, "Where the hell are you Rose," calling Aurora by her middle name when he did.
This made Aurora let in a deep breath and let it out that way she didn't snap on her husband in front of their child.
That didn't seem to work though because knowing that he was on the phone with her still pissed her off so she simply decided to hang up on Jeremy, not knowing why she answered his call in the first place.
"Mommy daddy seemed mad," Jaseh quietly said, obviously hearing the aggressive emotion in his voice when Aurora answered the phone.
One thing that Aurora didn't like that her son could do was read body language extremely well, especially his father's. It would always end up backfiring on him because whenever Jaseh felt like his dad was mad he would try to be a good son and cheer him up but it always resulted in Jeremy taking the anger he had out on Jaseh.
"I know baby but we're not gonna let him ruin our mood okay," Aurora said making a large smile appear on Jaseh's face as Aurora continued driving the two home.
10 minutes later
"Well if it isn't Aurora. Why weren't you answering my calls," Aurora heard Jeremy ask from the staircase step that he was sitting on as her and Jaseh walked in soaking wet from head to toe since it started raining extremely hard.
Hearing her husband greet her like that as soon as she walked inside of their large family home, not even giving her time to close the door or take the wet articles of clothing off of her body and change, made Aurora simply ignore him.
She didn't have the time nor energy to argue with the male so if he wanted to argue with her it was going to be like arguing with a brick wall, Aurora knowing that he was eventually going to get tired of basically talking to himself.
"Aurora I know you hear me talking to you," Jeremy said, standing up from the stairs as Jaseh sucked on the straw of his sweet tea, staring at his dad while he was.
"I did hear you Jeremy but I'm not about to argue with you. If you're mad at me for hanging up on you and not answering your calls then oh well," Aurora said closing the large front door back, locking all three locks after she did. She then started making her way to the kitchen that way she could place the food down before her and Jaseh changed into dry clothes.
"Well you should've been home then I wouldn't have been mad," Jeremy said trying to place the blame on Aurora which made her scoff. She couldn't believe how Jeremy was blaming her for him being upset when her work hours were the same everyday and rarely changed, him knowing what they were.
If he wanted to play the blame game though she could too, so now all thoughts about her keeping calm and not arguing with her husband were now thrown out of the window.
"You should've been home like I asked you to so you could've watched Jaseh instead of me having to take him with me to work but were you? No, so you can't say nothing about someone not being home when they're asked," Aurora said, aggressively placing the bags of food down on the table while Jaseh looked back and forth between his parents, sipping on the tea.
"I had my reasons though," Jeremy said, following behind Aurora out of the kitchen since she was now headed upstairs that way she and Jaseh could change.
Aurora couldn't wait to hear the stupid reason her husband would come up with like he always did when he was called out on something that he did or the argument he started backfired on him. It was always so interesting for her to listen to because he somehow managed to get caught up in his own lies.
"What were your reasons Jeremy? I'm listening," Aurora said, not listening all the way since she wasn't even focused on what her husband had to say to her anymore.
At this point she was done with going back and forth with her husband and couldn't wait to divorce him, something she had been wanting to do. She knew she couldn't just divorce him though so she had started gathering more and more evidence when it came to him cheating on her.
After she asked him that, he had went quiet as a mouse letting Aurora know that he didn't have anything to say, more than likely not even expecting Aurora to ask what his reason was for him not being home on time.
"Y'know what I don't gotta answer to you. And I'm tired of going back and forth with you so I'm going out. Don't wait up," Jeremy said walking back down the small amount of stairs that he had walked up that way he could grab his keys from the rack.
Hearing Jeremy say that didn't surprise Aurora at all either because everytime he felt like he was losing the argument with her he would always leave then come back in the middle of the night smelling like alcohol.
She wasn't going to let him back in this time so she planned on not opening the door when he got back.
She also planned on placing heavy items in front of the entrance as well so even if he did unlock the door, he would have to use as much force as he could to push it open.
As soon as Jeremy grabbed his keys, he was about to tell pettily tell Aurora goodbye but she had already finished making her way up the stairs with Jaseh making Jeremy simply turn around and leave out of the front door.

"Fuck," Jeremy loudly groaned as he felt his nut fill up the condom, the girl, who obviously wasn't the woman he was married to and vowed to stay loyal, laying underneath him creaming all over the rubber material.
It was currently 12 o'clock at night and instead of Jeremy being at a bar getting drunk like Aurora had thought he was he was cheating on her, something he had doing for nearly six months now.
At first when it happened he was drunk and angry but after he woke up he automatically regretted it since he vowed to Aurora that he would never be unfaithful to her. As the months went on though that guilt was thrown out of the window and he started doing it more and more to the point where he didn't care about how she felt.
Pulling his dick out of the white woman, Jeremy then flopped down next to her on her full sized bed making her cuddle up next to him, his hand finding it's way to her flat backside.
"So when are you going to divorce your wife like you said you were," Katie asked, tracing Jeremy's black chest hair as he took the semen filled condom off of his dick and threw it in the small pink trashcan next to him.
"I dont know. It's gonna be soon though cause I don't love her anymore and instead I love you," Jeremy said, lying through his teeth making the college student underneath him smile extremely big before placing a kiss on his lips.
The truth was he still did love Aurora, with all of his heart even and he would never stop loving her no matter what, but he felt like after she gave birth to Jaseh she didn't love him as much anymore.
This was actually one of the reasons Jeremy didn't like taking care of Jaseh. He basically was jealous of the child for taking his wife away, even though he still had her, but he still complained to Aurora about no being able to parent the boy just to make it seem like he cared.
"Good because I can't wait to start a family with you soon," Katie said making Jeremy look down at her like he was crazy.
Although Jeremy was cheating on Aurora with her he would never start a family with her. He just used her to have sex with because of how easy she was and would never actually plan on marrying her or having kids with her because she didn't seem fit for either.
"Slow your roll. We just met a couple of months ago and you're already talking about a family," Jeremy asked, discreetly unwrapping his large arm from around her tiny body since he started contemplating on leaving instead of spending the night.
He knew he shouldn't have called her up in the first place and instead should've called up one of the other woman who's number were in his phone, waiting to be dialed just so they could be used by Jeremy for sexual pleasure.
"Yea Jeremy. Obviously that bitch isn't pleasing you correctly and you don't want that little boy so I can fill their spots," Katie said referring to all of the things Jeremy said about Jaseh.
Not only did Jeremy envy Jaseh but he would constantly vent to Katie about how he thought that Jaseh wasn't his son.
When Jaseh was born Jeremy thought he was his because Aurora was the one who gave birth to him and he trusted her not to cheat on him. As he got older though all that trust went out the window because he started looking nothing like him.
"She can please me it's just I don't want to be with her right now. I want to be with you," Jeremy said, slowly but surely confusing himself the more he thought about the whole situation more and more.
He wanted to be with Aurora obviously because that was the woman that he had proposed to and planned to spend the rest of his life with but he found comfort in Katie whenever he and Aurora got into an argument, which was a lot nowadays.
"Well is it going to be me or her because if you choose her since she can please you, you can go with her and stop having sex with me whenever you want to," Katie asked, sitting up, taking her turquoise colored comforter with her so that she could cover hernaled body. "If you go with her too I'll just go ahead and tell her about the affair youre having."
When Katie said that, Jeremy couldn't help but start to rethink his decision about who he wanted to go with. He didn't want to choose Katie over Aurora since Katie was a penny and Aurora was a dime but he also didn't want Katie telling Aurora that he was cheating, knowing that she would.
After a couple of seconds of contemplating his decision, Jeremy finally figured out who he wanted to choose and he was honestly hoping that he wouldn't regret it in the future.
"You Katie. I choose you."
Jeremy is just a hot ass mess and gives me a headache
Anyways though Aurora got the job so she's gonna be meeting her future man real soon
Not Jeremy cheating on Aurora. How are you gonna swap out a butterfly for a roach? Smh. Not only that but he's jealous of his son too. Crazy
I just want Seh'kani to kill him off but I can't cause this isn't like Aichmomania and he's kinda still needed in the plot for some chapters. Him and Aurora will be divorcing soon though. Before that happens y'all will be mad at me so I'm just letting y'all know now : )
I also realized that Jeremy is questioning Aurora so much because he's guilty about cheating and projecting it onto her LMAO
