-Day 2-
We finally reached the 2nd day of the exam. We still have more than 200 points so we are still in the clear.
Today was supposed to be when I and Kaori would scout for Class D and E but we had a bit of changing plans. And now...
"Nii, Let's go."
"I don't hate the idea of scouting but it's ✨Socializing✨! We both hate those Shiro!" Sora screamed at the top of his lungs as Shiro looks at him with a deadpan.
Shiro volunteered to take over the scouting instead with his older brother, Sora. I particularly didn't mind but I did wonder why they would do it.
Shiro said it was for practicing to ✨Socialize✨ So I didn't mind them and just let them do their own business.
"Oiii Kiyotaka! Me and Akise found a cornfield! Why don't we have some Cooked corn today instead?!" Karma screamed at the top of his lungs. Beside him was Akise who was holding a basket with such an annoying face.
To be honest, I was sort of amazed by the fact that they arrived so early. It hasn't even been 20 minutes since they left. Maybe that cornfield was too near to us?
"Got it Asuna? Oreki?"
"Okay."
"You got it! Kiyotaka-kun!" Oreki replied with his ever-so-usual lazy voice and Asuna said with an energetic voice. Asuna immediately picked up the ingredients and left in the hut with Oreki lagging behind her.
"Oh, and Shiba, Sakuta?" The two named immediately turned their heads toward me. I got the map I got from Ellen-Sensei earlier as I give it to them.
"Can you look for more spots? You just have to look for that similar Machines like that one. And mark them on the map." I said as I pointed to the Square Machine near the Hut. They both just nod and left.
Now with this, everyone should have a responsibility in the Class. Asuna and Oreki would be taking care of the food, Sora and Shiro will be scouting the other classes, Shiba and Sakuta would be looking for more spots, and the rest will continue building the hammocks, they didn't finish it yesterday for some reason.
And thus, it leaves me a bit more private time.
"So, What was this plan of yours?" Kaori asks. Of course, I still have to get Kaori to know about my plan.
I know she would agree, but there is still a small possibility she won't cooperate. After all, my plan was quite dangerous. However, Kaori trusts me and vice versa. So hopefully, she'll cooperate.

"Shiro, why'd you do that? Kiyotaka and Kaori can scout the classes themselves."
"I can't help it..... I feel guilty not helping........ Also, they have a plan..... They need to discuss it without us....." Shiro muttered. She didn't lie about feeling Guilty, in fact, everything about what she said was nothing but the truth.
It was just speculation but since Kiyotaka has been spending less time with Class B, she simply assumed he has some sort of plan going on.
"Oh? Is that so?" Sora said. Sora wasn't the type to normally doubt hios sister, since they have the best bond a sibling could ever have, but he can't help but feel suspicious. Shiro tends to hide things from him after all.
"I'm also curious.... How many wildcards do Class D and E have.....? And can they defeat us....?" Sora's eyes slightly narrowed at Shiro's statement. Shiro was a genius, so she would say complicated things sometimes. But Sora would understand them.
If he doesn't understand Shiro's reason, that means Shiro is planning something else.
"What's your aim? Shiro?"
".... To see if the two can actually live up to their name..." Shiro muttered so quietly Sora barely heard her. But he was sure he heard her right.
".. You mean...?"
"Mhn... But let's not focus on that, Nii.... We are near Class D.." Shiro said as she pointed to the beach ahead.
Not to their surprise, they arrived at Class D having fun. They knew Ryuuen was like Ayanokouji in thinking, no--- It was simply just speculation... Ayanokouji is far more powerful than Ryuuen... That for them is sure.
"---Who's the really stupid here? Why would you starve and suffer just for a few hundred points? Don't make me laugh." A guy with magenta-colored hair said as he relaxes into his chair. The two siblings simply assumed this was Ryuuen due to his dominating aura.
On the other hand, Horikita, who was talking to Ryuuen, simply scowled in response. She opened her mouth to answer but Sora finally decided to introduce himself.
"He is right you know? If you don't get what he means, then you simply don't see the bigger picture. Horikita-san."
"Tch, both Class D and Class B are a bunch of stupid people. I don't even understand how you guys are superior." Ryuuen simply gave a mocking smile, as if he didn't care what she said to him at all.
The Nai siblings simply stayed quiet. Sora was standing there with a smirk while Shiro is drinking a cola she got from Ryuuen's cooler and is looking at Horikita.
"You're pretty useless.... Aren't you? Horikita....? You're only adept in Academics..... I bet someone like Sudou can beat you in sports...." Shiro said as she insulted Horikita. Horikita's calm demeanor immediately disappeared as it was replaced with a glare.
Sora, who was just a bystander, widened his eyes in realization as he realized that Shiro was more used to talking to people. She no longer speaks in short sentences and her responses have been more brutal than before.
"... You... Obviously know Ibuki-san... Right?" Horikita said to Ryuuen as she ignored the Nai siblings. Not knowing she just dug herself a hole.
Shiro's and Sora's eyes immediately stared at her as they recognized the name.
Ibuki Mio, a student from Class D, is a girl that is more on the physical side, much like Sudou. Well--- technically she is Sudou but far better...
If someone from Class D is in another class, which they assumed Ibuki is, then they are most probably a spy.
But they did wonder--- Why do they not have a spy? Is it only for Class E or what? They didn't know at all...
"Yeah, she's my classmate. What about it?"
"Her face was swollen.... That was you, wasn't it?"
"And so? Everyone who defies me and my orders is to be punished accordingly--- Just like Ibuki.."
"I see..." Horikit muttered. She then left but not before giving a glare to the Nai siblings.
Both of them knew their predictions were spot-on due to Ryuuen's and Horikita's conversation. They knew they had to tell Ayanokouji.
But before they could leave, Ryuuen immediately turned to them with a mocking smile as he looks at the two with an analyzing gaze. After a few minutes, he finally decided to speak.
"Kuku... So why are the two of you here? Hm?"

Hello everyone and I do hope everyone had a good day!
I sincerely apologize for not updating faster, especially when I finally had this thing going along pretty well with the updates.
I.... Didn't reach the usual word quota due to a few reasons... And this actually has something to do with my week(Or is it two?) absence.
I just want to put the book on hold for now--- It's not that I have writer's block nor had I lost the motivation to continue it... In fact, it's quite boosted now... I just don't know what to write.
My brain is completely scrambled... I lost a family member. I am good now but the stress is still there... Whenever someone calls, I always think it's the hospital calling that someone in my family has complications...
I also made the plot for the Island Exam, but completely lost it in these two weeks... So I don't know what to write now because of the plot that I thought actually disappeared.
There is also school upcoming... So yeah, there are too many stressors at this moment.
The wait won't be long as it's just for a few days but I really wanted to update this since this is unfinished and I want to relay this... So pls understand...
I'll extend the 2nd day to the next chapter since my original plan was one chapter per day on the exam... But I'll make an exception for this one..
