Sage was shocked at his apology but she smiled at him before smiling at him.
"Thank you, Godric. Sookie had told me what happened between you and Katelyn. I'm sorry that she was unfaithful to you. I hope you can have a second chance in finding your mate."
However, before anyone else could say anything else Klaus spoke up from behind his mate.
"Love, if we are going to make our flight we must be leaving soon."
"Okay, Klaus. I'll miss seeing the both of you." Sage said, as Eric stood up from behind his desk and approached the young telepath.
"I will miss you, little mind reader. Stay safe, I know that your mates will protect you and know that if you ever need anything just give me a call," Eric said as he pulled his only friend into a tight hug.
Once Eric pulled away, Godric took his place and hugged Sage. Sage returned the hug and when the two pulled away Sage was smiling at the old Roman vampire.
"Stay safe, little Valkyrie," Godric whispered into her ear.
"I will. my Roman God," Sage said, smiling at the old vampire.
Sage smiled at her two friends before turning to her mates and taking Damon's hand while Elijah dropped his arm over her shoulders leading her out of the club and to the awaiting limo. After a forty-five-minute drive, the six mates reached the airport and the private jet that would take them to Seattle.
***Now***
When the private jet reached the airport it was about 4:00 AM and Sage was sound asleep leaning against Stefan's shoulder. Damon helped get Sage out of the plane and carefully placed her into the limo to take them to their new house. Kol sat next to Sage on one her left side and Klaus on the other side so that she could continue to sleep. Elijah, Damon, and Stefan got into the limo and sat across from their mate. After nearly two hours, the limo pulled to the elegant home where Sage would be living now.
After Kol got out of the limo, Elijah got Sage out and carried her into the bedroom, and placed her in the center of her bed before leaving to help the others unpack and get the house ready for when Sage woke up. As their mate slept the five immortals brought Sage's things into her room quietly so that when she woke up she can unpack her things. It was around 5:30 AM when the five immortals were finished unpacking everything and had retired to their rooms except for Elijah who had pulled the shortest straw and got to sleep next to his mate. After taking off his suit and putting on a pair of sweatpants, Elijah got into bed next to his mate. As if sensing her mate next to her, Sage rolled over, placing her head on his chest where he began to run his fingers through her hair before falling asleep.
It was around 11:45 AM when Sage woke up to see that she was still lying on Elijah's chest. Slowly leaning up above her mate, Sage studied his handsome face and chest. Sage couldn't help but bite her lower lip as she admired her mate.
"Like what you see, beautiful," Elijah asked his mate as he slowly opened his eyes to see Sage blushing at being caught looking down at her mate.
"Sorry," Sage said as she looked away.
"Don't be, I'm flattered to be checked out by my beautiful mate."
Sage's blush deepened as Elijah continued to look at her with love in his eyes. Leaning up to his mate, Elijah pressed his lips against Sage's in a passionate kiss. The kiss would have become more heated if Klaus and Kol didn't burst into her room with Damon and Stefan standing in the doorway.
"All right you two, it's time to get up and have something to eat. I'm sure Sage would like to see her mates as soon as possible before starting school tomorrow," Damon teased.
Sage couldn't help but laugh before she gave Elijah a quick peck on the lips before hopping out of bed. Turning to her other four mates, Sage gave each of them a quick peck on their lips before kicking them out of her room so that she could shower and get dressed. Leaving her room in an emerald blouse and tight skinny black jeans, and a pair of black heels, Sage made her way towards the kitchen.
Upon entering the kitchen Sage saw Elijah cooking, Kol making coffee, and the others setting the table. Sage couldn't help but smile at her mates, happy that they all could get along,l even if it was for her sake. Klaus had told her right after she met the Salvatore brothers that the two families don't really get along but because they all had to share a mate, they would try to get along for her. After watching her mates for a few moments, Sage walked into the kitchen and wrapped her arms around Kol's waist.
"Good afternoon, beautiful," Kol said as he turned around to face his mate.
"Hello handsome," Sage said as she gave him a more passionate kiss than she did before kicking him out of her room.
Sage repeated the action with Klaus, Damon, and Stefan. Since Elijah woke up next to her and was the first one she kissed upon waking she only gave him a quick peck on the lips. Smiling at his mate, Elijah handed her a plate of strawberry French toast and her usual cup of black coffee.
"Thank you, Elijah," she said as she made her way to the dining room to eat.
Shortly after everyone got their breakfast they all joined Sage in the dining room. While the mates ate the room was filled with laughter and talk. Sage told her mates that she was nervous about meeting the rest of her mates. Klaus and Damon reassured her that they will accept her right away. After breakfast, Stefan and Sage cleaned up the kitchen before Sage made her way up to her room to unpack all of her belongings before she met the Cullen coven later that evening.
Around 7:30 Sage had just put the last of her clothes away when there was a knock on her bedroom door. Turning around Sage saw her mischievous mate, Kol, smiling at her with love in his eyes. Smiling back at him, Sage walked over to him, wrapping her arms around his waist in a loving embrace.
"Hello, Kol what brings you by?"
"I came to let you know that dinner's ready," Kol said as he wrapped his arms around her waist.
As in on queue Sage's stomach growled causing her to blush and Kol to chuckle before he kissed her cheek. Playfully slapping him on the chest before getting out of his arms and making her way to the large kitchen. However, before she could make it, Kol had vamped up behind her, picked her up over his shoulder, and ran into the kitchen. Sage laughed all the way at her mate's playfulness. Her mates couldn't help but laugh at the two.
Once Kol placed Sage back down on her feet she gave him a quick kiss before going to her other mates and kissing them quickly on the lips. When she reached Damon however, he wrapped his arms around her waist, dipped her, and gave her a full-on kiss that became a short makeout session. The two broke apart when Elijah pulled sage from the oldest Salvatore's arms causing him to pout.
"Don't pout Damon," Sage teased, "There's more time later for that."
"Anyway, let's eat before we go over to the Cullen's so Sage could meet the last of her mates," Elijah said.
Sage looked even more nervous now that she would be fully complete with all of her mates. Stefan moved over to stand in front of his mate, gently pulling her to his chest in a comforting hug. Rubbing his hands up and down her back in a soothing manner Stefan tried to calm his mate.
"Hey now Sage, it'll be okay. We all will be with you. Plus your mates would never hurt you. Remember they also have been waiting a long time for you," Stefan said in a calm voice.
"Plus darling, Klaus and I are good friends with your mate Carlisle and his younger brother Jasper was Damon's Major in the Confederate Army," Elijah said as he came up behind Sage, wrapped his arms around her waist, and held her tightly.
"Okay, can we eat first I'm starving," Sage asked causing her mates to smile at her.
Elijah and Stefan led Sage to the table where the plates were already set out two large handmade pizzas sat in the middle. Sage smiled for she knew that Stefan had made the pizzas from scratch while Klaus made the salad while the others made other side dishes. Despite being petite, Sage was known to have a huge appetite almost like a werewolf. When Sage saw the table made with her favorite dishes she hugged Stefan and gave him a passionate kiss.
"You're the best Stefan," Sage said as she pulled away from the kiss.
"Lucky," Damon and Kol mumbled.
Sage couldn't help to chuckle before she replied, "Well, maybe learn to cook."
Damon playfully glared at his mate who couldn't help but laugh. Kol led Sage to the table where he pulled out her seat. Sage sat down after kissing him on the cheek in thanks. Once everyone sat down everyone started to dig in. However, Sage was still nervous because as soon as dinner was over she would be meeting her other mates. Elijah seemed to know that Sage was nervous and took her hand in his larger one.
"Sage sweetness, are you sure you're okay," Elijah asked her.
"Yeah, just nervous. I never expected to meet any of my mates, let alone all of them," Sage said.
"Hey now love, it'll be all okay. We will all be there with you, and if it all becomes too much we can come home," Klaus said as he cupped her cheek in a soothing manner.
"Besides princess, you took to us very quickly. I'm sure it'll be the same for your other mates," Damon said, taking her right hand in his while rubbing his thumb in circular movements on the back of her hand trying to keep his mate calm.
"You're right, I did take to you five quickly. I mean I did give Elijah my first kiss only after a few hours after meeting him," Sage confessed.
This was a shock to Sage's mates, they thought that Sage would have at least kissed one of the two vampires she was friends with. Elijah's face changed from shock to one of happiness as he realized that he was her first. Now he only hoped to be her true first and be the first to fully complete the mating bond with Sage. Sage had read Elijah's mind when she was his face changed to happiness and when she heard what he thought she blushed a deep red.
"What has you blushing sweetheart," Kol asked as he looked at his blushing mate.
"Nothing," Sage said looking down at the floor.
Sage's other mates couldn't help but chuckle at their mate. Obviously, she heard something in Elijah's thoughts that caused her to blush like that.
"Anyway, let's get going before it gets too late. Kol, Stefan, and I do start school tomorrow," Sage said as she took Stefan's hand and made her way to the front door.
Once outside Stefan picked up Sage bridal style so he could carry her at vamp speed over to the Cullen's house. As soon as they reached the Cullen's, Stefan placed Sage down on her feet and took her left hand in his where he started to rub comforting circles with his thumb across her knuckles. Damon appeared next to Sage and copied his brother by taking her right hand in his to help keep her calm.
"Whenever you're ready, sweetheart," Damon said as he smiled at his mate.
Taking a deep breath to help camp herself, Sage smiled at her five mates who couldn't help but smile at her with love. Kol got behind Sage as the two older Mikaelson brothers got in front of her. Both Salvatore brothers were still next to Sage on either side of her, and as the Mikaelson brothers surrounded their mate, Sage felt completely safe.
Klaus was standing right in front of his mate and Elijah was at the front of the group. When they reached the door, Elijah knocked on it and the mates only had to wait a few seconds before a man with blonde hair, gold eyes, and who appeared to be twenty - three answered the door. Sage didn't need to look up to know that the man who had answered the door was one of her mates for when he was only a few feet away from her she felt the stethoscope soulmate mark burn.
"Hello Elijah, it's good to see you again my old friend," the man said.
"Hello Carlisle," Elijah said causing Sage to let go of Damon's hand and grab her burning mark.
"Would you and the others please come in? Everyone is upstairs in the living room," the man named Carlisle said.
Stefan tightened his grip on Sage's hand as he led her into the Cullen's house. Damon now had his hand on Sage's lower back since her other mate marks began to burn as well. Carlisle could feel the bumblebee soulmate mark as soon as Stefan and the others arrived outside the house. It wasn't just Carlisle who felt the mark burn, Edward, Emmett, and Jasper all felt the mark begin to burn as soon as their mate arrived.
When the group reached the upper living room, Sage couldn't help but look around the elegant home. It was then that she saw someone who she hadn't seen in a year in a half. Letting go of Stefan's hand and gently pushed past her other mates to address her "brother from another mother" so to speak.
"Well, look what the gator dragged up from the swamp," Sage said as she looked at the black hair, the brown-eyed guy in the room.
This caused the man to look up at the sound of a voice he hadn't heard in nearly two years. When the man turned to look at who spoke he couldn't help but smile at the young telepath.
"Well, well, well Sage Stackhouse the spitfire of Bon Temps," the man said as he approached the young girl he saw as a little sister.
"Hello Aaron Hotchner," Sage said as she met him halfway and the two humans in the room hugged.
All of the immortals in the room were speechless. No one saw this coming, not even Alice. To say that they were surprised was an understatement.
