~Chapter Twenty Two : Unexpected Event~

You were all now walking to the city after you all exited Killua's home. As you were all walking, you and Gon explained to everyone the trick Gotoh used to the two of you.
"Ah, I see. He used that trick to me too." Killua said as his face turn in annoyance. "And once you find out the secret, it's so simple, it'll piss you off."
"Eh, really?" Gon said as he kept flipping a coin in his hand, wondering what the trick is. Then, the coin he's flipping was suddenly snatched by Kurapika who turned around and smiled.
"Assuming this was the trick he did." Kurapika said as he flipped the coin and catched it with his left hand. He raised his hands and turned to the four of you. "Which hand?" Kurapika asked.
"It's in your left hand right?" You said as you pointed to his left hand.
Kurapika chuckled and opened his right hand to reveal that the coin was actually in his right hand.
You and Gon once again widen your eyes in confusion. "How did you do that!?" You both asked.
Then, Kurapika opened his left hand to reveal another coin. "Gotoh used to coins."
"But he only has one coin." Gon said.
"He was hiding the other coin in his right hand." Kurapika explained as he flipped the coin once again and catched it with his left hand. "And then, he let us see him grab the coin using his left arm."
"But before he asked us which hand holds the coin," Kurapika continued as he raised both of his hands. "He will raise both of his hands and secretly slip the first coin into his sleeves."
"Oh!" You and Gon said as you both realized how simple it is.
"That left the coin in his right hand." Kurapika finished.
Killua closed his eyes. "You got that right." He said.
You and Gon grew a vein. "You're right, it actually made us mad..." You and Gon said.
"I'm assuming that Gotoh used that trick in his final turn." Killua said as he turned around to face the both of you. "Gotoh hates cheating even if it's just a game."
"That's even worse!"

You were all inside a train now, the same train that you, Gon, Kurapika and Leorio used to reach Kukuroo mountain. You were sitting between Killua and Kurapika as Gon was explaining how the three of you got here.
"Eh!?" Killua yelled in disbelief. "You're here on a tourist visa!?"
Gon nodded. "Yeah."
"Didn't you pass the exam!?" Killua asked. "Why didn't you use your hunter license!? It could let you stay in other countries as long as you want, right?" Killua said as he looked over to you, Kurapika and Leorio.
The three of you just sweatdropped and sighed. "That's what we told him." Leorio sighed.
"Because I've decided." Gon said. "I'm not gonna use my hunter license until I finished what I'm gonna do."
"What do you to do?" Killua asked.
Then, Gon took out something from his pocket and showed it to the all of you. It was a tag that Hisoka wore. "To return Hisoka's tag!" He said. "I'll return his tag when I punch in the face! That's what he told me."
"Until I've done that, I won't use my hunter license. I'm not going to go back in whale island either!" Gon said.
Killua hummed in understanding. "So, where's Hisoka?" Killua asked.
Gon widen his eyes in realisation and laughed nervously. Killua sighed. "Thought so..."
"I know where he is, Gon." You all turned to Kurapika.
"Eh? Really?" Gon said.
"How?" Leorio asked.
"He told me so." Kurapika replied.
"So that's what he said..." Leorio said.
"No, he told me that after the orientation." Kurapika said.
"But is it related?" You asked.
"I suppose so." Kurapika answered, closing his eyes as you hummed in understanding.
"I've been itching to ask you, what did he said to you that time?" Leorio asked.
Kurapika opened his eyes with shadows over it and looked up. "He told me that he has information regarding to the spiders." He said.
You widen your eyes. "Spiders? That's the..."
"The phantom troupe?" Leorio asked.
Kurapika nodded. "I didn't recall mentioning the spiders to Hisoka so I guess he heard it from someone or he overheard our conversation on the first phase." Kurapika said. "A spider with twelve legs is the troupe's symbol. So those that familiar with the organization refer to the troupe as such. I was interested in his information."
"I see..." Leorio said.
"After the orientation, I asked Hisoka about it." Kurapika said. "He said that he'll wait for me at Yorknew in September 1st."
"September 1st?" Gon asked. "Is there something happening in Yorknew in that date? Because you still got half a year."
Leorio snapped his fingers. "Oh, yeah! They'll be holding the world's largest auction!"
"Auction? What's that?" You asked, clearly haven't heard of the word before.
"A public selling that is sold to the highest bidder." Killua explained to you as you hummed in understand.
"Correct. from September 1st to September 10th, there will be an auction for unusual items, rare goods and national items from around the world. The event attracts all kinds of nasty folks and will do anything to satisfy their greed because it's the biggest money gathering in the whole world." Kurapika explained.
"So the phantom troupe will show up there?" Leorio asked.
"They're a group of bandits. There is no way they'll let this chance escape." Kurapika said. "Anyway, Hisoka will appear somewhere on Yorknew in September 1st."
"Okay. September 1st. Got it. Thanks." Gon memorized.

As the train stopped moving, the five of you got out of it and walked back near the airport. "So, now I shall depart here." Kurapika said, smiling.
You widen your eyes, sadly. "Eh?" You exclaimed. "Why?"
"We managed to see Killua, so I'm finished here." Kurapika explained as he smiled at you. "I'll need money to be able to participate in the auction so for the remaining time, I'll search for a patron to employ me as a hunter."
You looked down, sadly. "Oh..." You exclaimed, trying to sound like you understand. Actually, you did understand, but it's just disappointing and sad to depart with a friend that you spend time with. Kurapika noticed that.
"Well, I guess I'll go home too." Leorio said.
You then turned to Leorio. "What? You too, Leorio?" You asked.
"Yeah. I still haven't given up my dream of becoming a doctor after all." Leorio said. "If I'm accepted to middle school, I'll use this to pay the ridiculous fee." Leorio said as he holds out his hunter license. I have to go back and start studying like crazy."
You and Gon nodded. "Yeah, good luck."

You all reached the airport but as you were all walking there, Kurapika looked at you and noticed how sad you are about him and Leorio leaving. Kurapika narrowed his eyes. "I'll...Do it, today..." Kurapika thought.
You all stopped walking once you it's time for Leorio and Kurapika to go. "Until we meet again." Leorio said.
"Yeah, that'll be..." Kurapika said.
"September 1st, in Yorknew." The four males said while you just kept looking at the ground spaced out.
Kurapika noticed you and narrowed his eyes. He took a deep breath and crouched down to your height. "(Y/N)." Kurapika called, snapping you out.
"H-Huh?" You exclaimed. "What is it?"
Kurapika smiled as he put his hands gently over your cheeks and leaned in to you, nearing his lips over yours. The three males, Gon, Killua, And Leorio widen their eyes in shock as Kurapika closed the gap between the two of you, placing his lips over yours.
It took you a second to realise what's happening and when you did, you quickly widen your eyes in shock as you felt Kurapika's soft lips over yours. You turned so red, redder than Killua's face when he's embarassed but you didn't do anything. You just stood there, frozen in shock.
After a good 30 seconds, Kurapika pulled away and smiled at your reaction and face. "Listen to me, (Y/N)." Kurapika said.
You shook your red face and turned to Kurapika, wondering what just had happen. Kurapika just chuckled at your confusion. Hearing his laughter, you face became redder than it was earlier.
"(Y/N). I've been always wanting to tell you that..." Kurapika took a deep breath as finally, his cheeks are becoming red. "...That I have loved you ever since the exam." He said.
You blinked in shock not being able to say anything. Kurapika then continued. "That is why I kept trusting you. Enough to reveal my past to you. That is also why I'm protective to you in some time. I love you (Y/N)." He repeated. "And knowing you, you'll misunderstand my love for a brotherly love am I right? No, (Y/N) this love I'm feeling for you is not a mere friendship love nor brotherly love. This is the love every man feel once they found the woman that they're willing to spend they're lives with."
"I also do not care if I am much older than you." Kurapika added. "It is quite embarassing to admit this but, I believe in the little quote "Age doesn't matter for love"."
Kurapika smiled at you. "And I'm telling you this so that you won't be sad anymore about my departure. I promise, we'll meet again. In the September 1st, right?" He said. "So don't be sad anymore."
You bit you bottom lip as you looked up to Kurapika. Tears then began flowing down your cheeks as you hugged Kurapika. "Y-Yeah! I-I won't be!" You cried as Kurapika hugged you back.
Leorio smiled at the scene before him. "I knew this is gonna happen sooner or later..." Leorio thought. Then, he looked at Gon and Killua who was also watching the entire scene. "But I guess they aren't too happy about it..." Leorio thought as sweatdropped and moved away a little from Gon and Killua.
Gon and Killua was watching the whole scene with blank faces, well, Gon has a blank face while Killua has a clear scowl visible on his face. Gon moved a little to Killua. "Killua, I knew I shouldn't say this but, this kinda makes me mad. I don't know why." Gon whispered to Killua.
Killua turned to Gon with his scowl. "Of course it'll make you mad! It's already complicated that you and I loves (Y/N), now, Kurapika's gonna join in?" Killua whispered/yelled back as he pouted with a vein in his forehead. "Great. Kurapika just confessed to her first...What if (Y/N) falls in love with him now!?"
Hearing that, Gon widen his eyes and looked back at the two of you. Kurapika wiped the tears from your eyes and stood up.
Gon, without thinking, ran over to the two of you and grabbed you by the shoulder and hid you behind his back, protectively. Gon looked at Kurapika with his eyes narrowed.
Killua didn't even bother to stop Gon and just simply walked over to you. Kurapika looked at the two of them as they glared at him.
You swear you can see a trail of electric in their looks. Kurapika then smiled. "I already know about your feelings." Kurapika said.
Gon and Killua looked a little suprise. "And I would like to join as one of your rivals." Kurapika said as he, suprisingly, smirked.
Gon pouted at Kurapika. "Alright! But I won't give up!" Gon yelled.
Killua looked at Gon and turned to Kurapika. "Me too." Killua said.
You looked at each of them and wondered what's happening. Then, Kurapika chuckled. "Well then, it's time for us to go. Let's go Leorio." He said as he turned around.
"Yeah." Leorio said as he followed Kurapika.
You widen your eyes and got out of Gon's grip. "Kurapika!" You called.
He stopped walking and turned around to face you. "I...I..." You started but didn't continue.
Kurapika smiled. "It's okay. You don't have to force yourself to tell me you love me too. Take your time but I'll be waiting for your answer okay?" He said.
You blushed. "O-Okay!" You said as you nodded.
"Alright, see you, (Y/N)." He said as waved at you and turned around to keep walking.
"Bye-Bye!" You said as you smiled widely.

You, Gon and Killua were now watching Kurapika and Leorio's airship flew off in the sky. You were smiling at the airship and thinking about what Kurapika said but Killua interrupted your thoughts. Killua turned to you with a vein on his forehead. "(Y/N)! What was that!?" He yelled.
"What was what?" You asked.
"Earlier when Kurapika kissed you and said he loved you!" Killua yelled.
You turned slightly red. "W-What about it?" You asked.
Killua began poking your forehead, hard. "Why didn't you push him away or do anything to stopped him!?" He yelled as he flicked your forehead.
You crouched down as you put your hands over your forehead in pain. "Ow...Why would I do that? That's mean!" You said.
Killua's vein grew even bigger, indicating he's madder than before. You gulped. "Didn't you even realise what he'd done!? He stole your first kiss! First kiss!" He yelled.
"I thought my first kiss was Yumi-san?" You wondered as you stood up.
"Idiot! First kiss by a boy!" Killua yelled as Gon nodded.
"Hmm...I see..." You hummed.
"Don't 'Hmm, I see' me! That's not the reaction you should give!" Killua scolded.
You pouted. "Then, what kind of reaction should I give you!?" You yelled at him. "Be frantic about losing my first kiss?"
"Yeah!" Killua answered.
This time, you were the one who grew a vein. You punched Killua in the face, hard enough to make him stumble. "You idiot!" You said.
Killua "Tch"ed at you as he rubbed his cheek. Then, Gon come in between the two of you. "Anyway, let's just ignore what happen earlier, let's talk about what we'll do now since it's just the three of us now." Gon said as he smiled, but in the inside Gon is actually upset as Killua was.
"Do you really need to ask? We'll train, of course." Killua said.
Gon looked at Killua, confuse. "Huh? Shouldn't we have some fun?" Gon asked.
You sighed and face-palmed at Gon. Killua turned to Gon with a smile but also with a vein. "Listen here, do you remember what you said earlier?" Killua asked. "Do you think you can punch Hisoka in the face without some training?"
Gon's face paled as he realise what he Killua was trying to say. Killua poked Gon's cheek. "You couldn't land a punch in ten years let along six months!" Killua yelled as you tried to calm him down.
Once you manage to calm Killua down, Killua grab stick and began drawing on the ground. "Here, I'll make it easier to understand. This is Hisoka, this is Hanzo." Killua sais as he drew faces that looks like Hisoka and Hanzo with a gap between them.
"Uh-huh." Gon nodded.
"If this is the gap between Hisoka and Hanzo in terms of strength, then the gap between you and Hisoka are..." Killua said as he began to walk sideways while drawing a straight line on the dirt.
Killua continued to draw the line and stopped as he reached the far end of the ground where the dirt ends. "Here!" Killua yelled from the distance. "And I'm being generous!"
You sweatdropped as Gon grew a vein. "I'm kinda mad..." Gon muttered.
Killua walked back to the two of you. "(Y/N)'s place would be kinda unknown since her strength change depending on what animal she imitates." Killua said. "But her punches are strong even without her powers so I guess she's somewhere near Gon."
You smiled and turned to Gon who pointed at Killua. "Then, how about you, Killua?" Gon asked.
"Me?" Killua repeated and turned to draw his face in the middle of the line. "Probably around here..." He said as he looked up with a smile resembling a "3". "Yup...I'm so humble!" Killua thought.
You and Gon smiled, making Killua turn around to face the both of you. "What is it?" Killua asked.
"Nothing." You said. "It's just that you're amazing Killua!" You and Gon complimented.
Killua blushed and put his hands over his hips and turned away. "Cut that out...It's embarassing." He said.
"Actually, I don't know how to tell the difference between my opponent and I." Gon admitted.
"Me too, actually." You admitted as well.
Killua threw the stick, he's been using to draw. "Idiots. It doesn't matter." He said and walked away. "I'm only estimating. You both probably had a general idea" He said as the two of you followed him.
"Once you have enough experience, your guesses will be more accurate." Killua explained. "Besides, the stronger someone is, the better they are at hiding their true strength. So you both shouldn't rely on that method much."
"Oh..." You and Gon exclaimed.
"Well, in any case, Hisoka is strong, no doubt." Killua said as he stopped walking and turned to the both of you. "You won't land a hit on him within six months in normal means."
You and Gon nodded in agreement. "Hey, (Y/N), Gon, do you have any more money?" Killua asked.
You and Gon looked at each other and laugehd nervously. "Actually, I'm kinda broke." Gon said.
"I have some small amount of money in my pocket for now but it won't be enough for a day or two." You said, sweatdropping.
"I don't have much too." Killua said. "So, do you guys know where can we train and make money at the same time?" Killua asked.
You and Gon shook your head no. Killua smirked and raised his index finger.
"In the Heaven's Arena."

Woohoo! Did I just write that!? Oh my Gosh! My face is so red! Is this how other authors feel like when they were writing a kiss scene for the first time!? I really hope you like that, it took me a lot of time to calm my blushing. I'm pretty proud of myself in this chapter! I mean for the first time in my life, I wrote a kiss scene! Now, my bestfriend, cousin (uncle), and classmates won't call me innocent anymore! Except they'll never see this story and will never ever will!
And what's this? Another chapter in one day? Are you happy readers? Also, I'm sorry if you didn't like Kurapika to be your first kiss, I just felt that Killua and Gon will take more advantage of you, considering you will be joining them to the this Heaven's Arena (Whoops, spoilers are flying everywhere) Again, I'm so sorry but what has been done is done.
