Eren POV:
After an hour or so the bullhead makes it over to Patch. I have to say, even with knowing that it isn't MY family, I hate being here and almost feel scared. But...I'm way stronger then any of them. And this Eren. He should only have Vorpal. I haven't really tried Vorpal completely on its own but I don't think he could win against me.
Pilot: "Alright kid we're here."
Eren: "Thank you."
I stand up and make my way over to the door of the bullhead and open it. I look down and see the cabin nearby. It shouldn't look too suspicious from down there if they see the bullhead. They most likely couldn't see me anyways.
Pilot: "What exactly are you doing here anyways?" He yells from the cockpit.
Eren: "Family matter."
Pilot: "Family? They're Faunus though?"
Eren: "It's complicated and I wouldn't want to bore you with the details. Thanks for the ride!"
I jump out of the bullhead and descend down to the ground. Right before I land I spread my crystal wings and safely land on the ground.
Now...
What am I going to do with this family? I suppose time will only tell.
3rd person POV:
Yang: "He jumped out of the bullhead! Down there now!"
The purple ball flies towards Eren's location and hovers above him above the trees.
Ruby: "What is he doing at our house?"
Weiss: "This is your home? It's...actually kind of nice."
Blake: "Didn't you hear Eren and Velvets talk earlier? Or the part with Jaune? Clearly you guys are natural Faunus here and your family is taking advantage of humans just like the rest of them."
Yang: "You don't think he's gonna...you know?"
Dark: "We'll wait and see. I'm very interested in how this goes."
The girls look down nervously at Eren approaching the cabin.
Eren POV:
I make my way out of the trees and into the cabins front yard. I get up to the door and knock on it.
It all depends on who opens the door. Though in reality I guess it doesn't matter. Velvet said that I existed here. She said my name without me saying it out loud so these guys will recognize me.
The door opens and it's...
Summer: "Hello!... Wait...Eren?"
Eren: "..."
I didn't actually think of how to respond here.
Summer: "Why're you a human? Where are your Faunus features?! Quick, get in before someone might see you."
She quickly grabs me and the second she does I start to shake...I guess not seeing her since she would beat me alongside Yang doesn't make this easy. I keep my emotions in check and stay calm as she closes the door.
Eren: "Where is everyone?"
Summer: "Huh? You even sound younger too..."
I hear someone come down the stairs. I look past mom and see...woah.
Ruby: "Hey mom who's that..."
She gets one good look at me and looks really confused.
Ruby: "Um...Eren? Where are your ears?"
Some parts of her body finally fully developed. I guess being a couple years in the future would help with that. Those ears and tail too. Just like Blakes world and what Ruby can transform into.
Summer: "Ruby, dear, something isn't right. Call your brother on your scroll. This has to be a mistake."
Ruby digs her scroll out of her pocket and taps on it until she puts the scroll to her ear. I hear someone pick it up but I can't hear a voice since it's not on speaker.
Ruby: "Hey Eren. Sorry for calling so randomly. Something weird came up at home and I just wanted to know how you're doing and where you are."
...
Ruby: "Mistral? Sounds fun. How's little Rhodes doing?"
...who is Rhodes?
Ruby: "That's good. I need to come by and see how my cute nephew is. Let me know when you're back in Vale next time. Thanks, love you."
She hangs up the scroll and they both look at me.
But...Rhodes. Nephew? I have a son here...?
Summer: "Alright you stupid human. What are you?"
And here we go.
Eren: "What. Can't check on family? I don't know what you mean by not being Eren. I literally look like both of you."
Ruby: "You're a Human. We wouldn't have a human in our family."
Eren: "That doesn't mean I'm not Eren. Your eyes haven't been opened wide enough yet. But I guess you guys are a little stupid to process something that isn't actually that hard. You stupid pieces of shit."
Summer: "You little...Ruby! Get Crescent Rose!"
Ruby: "Right!"
I step out of the cabin and into the front yard. I extend my hand out and take out Eager Edge. I turn around and see my mother with her scythe. I never caught the name of her weapon but frankly I don't care what THIS ONE named it.
Summer: "That's...that's Vorpal. How do you have his semblance? You're a human...they can't have aura anymore."
Eren: "How do I have my own semblance? Kind of a stupid question really."
Summer: "Shut up!"
She dashes forward at me with her semblance which is just another version of Rubys semblance. I activate Wail and dash around her before she can reach me. She deactivates her semblance and attempts to swing at me but I dodge. She swings more and more but I keep dodging thanks to Wails multiplier.
Summer: "What?! What is that aura?!"
Eren: "Wail, mother. It increases its strength from emotional trauma."
Summer: "Don't call me mother, human!"
She swings her scythe down and I catch it with my own scythes attack. We clash blades, not having a clear sign on who's pushing who back, but I'm not trying here. After a couple clashes I fire a blast towards her and it connects. It hits her and sends her flying back. She manages to push the blast off her and sends it towards the forest. A red and purple explosion is visible through the trees.
Summer: "What the...you fight like Eren too! But how?!"
Eren: "Because I am Eren you dumbass. From what I know humans wouldn't be capable of shape shifting, right? So...if there are somehow two Erens here, there's something a lot larger at play correct?"
Mom stays on the ground holding her chest and starts to think. While she does that I notice Ruby step out from cabin. I turn around and stare her down. Her outfit appears to be the same as it is during Rubys current year of Beacon but...doesn't seem as red. Seems more black and grey.
Eren: "I'm not going to force a fight with my own sister. But if you really do want to fight, I'd only make it fair and tell you to call your team from Beacon."
Ruby: "Shut up! I don't need them! I never needed them! They betrayed me and I grew strong all on my own!"
Wait. What did she say?
Eren: "Betrayed? By Yang and the other two?"
Ruby: "If you are my brother then what are my two other teammates names?"
Eren: "Weiss Schnee and Blake Belladonna. Weiss is your partner while Blake was Yangs."
Ruby appears stunned by this and lowers her guard for a second.
Ruby: "H-How do you know that?"
I sigh and turn around to face my mom.
Eren: "Have you come to a conclusion yet?"
Her eyes are widened. Not by anything I said but by what I believe she believes is going on.
Summer: "Is it...something with time?"
Eren: "You could say that, yeah. I ain't exactly from here."
Mom slowly stands up and walks up to me.
Summer: "S-So you really are my son..."
Eren: "Yes I am. But it seems you guys aren't exactly friendly with humans unlike where I'm from."
Summer: "There...there are different rules where you're from?"
Eren: "From what I know about how these worlds work, we should be a family of humans. You guys being Faunus is already a huge change."
Summer gasps and holds her head like she's processing everything that's ever happened in the universe ever. I just gave her a massive existential crisis. I turn to Ruby who's walked up to us. I look past her and see Crescent Rose on the ground where she was originally standing.
Ruby: "You...You're actually Eren?! But I just called you! You're in Mistral!"
Eren: "If you tell me how you were betrayed by your sister and the other two members of RWBY then I'll explain my side. Deal?"
Ruby looks away for a second before sighing and nodding.
Ruby: "My team as you know consists of Yang, Weiss and Blake. Weiss...me and Weiss were dating for a bit. By the one year mark I was working some extra jobs to save up for this really expensive gift. Before I could even buy it though, Eren caught those 3 red handed. Weiss was cheating on me with Blake and my own damn sister." She says while softly sobbing.
I...I can't kill this Ruby...
Eren: "Oh...I'm so sorry to hear about that Ruby."
Ruby: "I...I came back home and dropped out of Beacon but I didn't stop training. While I work at other jobs now I train with Crescent Rose and my semblance every day to make sure I'm never hurt like that again."
She sounds just like me.
Eren: "You're starting to sound like me from my world Ruby. Suffered from an abusive household and ran away. Thanks to some otherworldly help I got my semblance and I'm the strongest thing on Remnant."
Ruby: "The Strongest you say?"
She looks back at her scythe and then back to me.
Ruby: "I watched that fight. I can see you using Vorpal but there was another power. Vorpal doesn't increase speed and strength like whatever you used. What was that?"
Heheheh...
Eren: "Heh. That, my dear canine sister, was my primary semblance. The gift from the Gods themselves. Wail was the gifted semblance and then years later I got Vorpal."
Ruby and Summer: "WHAT?!"
Ruby: "Primary semblance?!"
Eren: "Due to the abuse I suffered at home I couldn't manifest my own aura. I ran from home on our 13th birthday. A Grimm almost killed me but the God of Light and Dark intervened. They chose me as their entertainment and at this point I might even be a student...a Disciple even."
Summer: "Y-You just said Grimm..."
Eren: "The Grimm are very much still around in my world."
Ruby: "I...I don't even care about the Grimm part...you said you were abused?"
Well. I guess that's a pretty natural reaction.
Eren: "To put it lightly, my life at home was a bitch thanks to a certain Xiao Long and her." I point my thumb back towards my mother behind me.
I turn my head and look at my mother. She looks horrified at what her alternate self had committed.
Summer: "I-I would never do that! I never thought once about hurting my baby Eren here! Eren and Ruby were two happy babies growing up! They both looked up to Yang who loved them to death!"
Eren: "..."
My aura flares and I roar, looking up into the sky.
Eren: "RAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH"
3rd person POV:
Dark: "That's not pretty."
Weiss: "So. Eren here was raised normally? He would be at our level then here..."
Weiss looks back at Ruby who hasn't taken her eyes off of her future Faunus self.
Yang has her hands covering her mouth hearing what Future Ruby was talking about.
Yang: "I-I would never do that...that's d-disgusting..."
Blake stares at the two and then back to Eren.
Blake: Eren...I'm starting to understand a lot of things. Why you don't seem to care about much anymore. These worlds you explore and basically destroy...while I don't condone violence of this level, if these worlds were to be destroyed no matter what...so be it.
Blake: "This Ruby...she's been through a lot...I wish we could comfort her but it's probably a bad idea to see all of us."
Weiss: "Yeah...I would never even think of doing that act she was talking about. Though, me and Ruby together? Hm."
Dark: "I think I see what's going to happen here. If it does, your universe will become a true gem."
Weiss: "And what is that?"
Dark: "Be patient and just watch."
Eren POV:
I finally calm down and Wails aura settles. I'm in level 2 from my outburst. I look around me and see Ruby and my mother looking at me terrified.
Ruby: "Y-Y-Your hair!"
Summer: "It's glowing purple...your eyes are purple too..."
Eren: "Haaaa...Eren...you say he has lived a normal life here? As normal as a huntsmen can be?"
My voice...it sounds angrier then normal. I mean...I'm quite fucking angry that my life went to shit and his didnt...HE HAS A FUCKING SON.
Ruby: "Yes. As you heard from the call I had he even has a son. His name is Rhodes. Rhodes Rose."
Eren: "Rhodes. Weird to know another version of me as a son."
Ruby: "I guess so."
I finally relax and return to my normal state.
Eren: "I'm very sorry to hear about what happened Ruby. I guess Eren, Mom and Dad are the only ones you can trust now?"
Ruby: "Yeah. But that anger and determination to show that I don't need them has helped me push myself."
Eren: "That's good. Now...where would those 3 pieces of garbage be?"
I notice Ruby flinch before breathing deeply.
Ruby: "They have a house up on the other side of Vale."
They really are just trying to rub it in aren't they...
Eren: "Those fuckers..."
I chuckle and then start full on laughing.
Summer: "Eren? What's wrong? What's so funny?"
Eren: "Ruby. How would you like to come back with me after this little job I go through?"
3rd person POV:
Weiss and Blake: "WHAT?!?!"
Dark: "Called it."
Ruby: "I-Is he serious?"
Yang: "He must be...but if he's gonna do what I think he is...I don't know if I can watch."
Eren POV:
Ruby: "A job?"
Eren: "You're telling me you've never wanted revenge on them for fucking up your mental state?"
Ruby stops breathing for a second and looks out in the distance processing what I said. I turn back towards mom who looks a bit more relaxed but still nervous.
Eren: "Where's Dad?"
Summer: "He's still at Signal for the day."
Eren: "Did you disown Yang?"
Summer: "In a heartbeat. She didn't seem to feel remorse for it which was...uncharacteristic of her when it comes to Ruby."
Yeah. She's gonna fucking feel it. The last kill I got on Yang didn't feel satisfying enough. I didn't even get to kill Weiss and then obviously Blake I couldn't due to obvious reasons.
Ruby: "Yes. I want revenge. You think we could win a 2v3?"
Eren: "I could win if it was you four versus just me. Trust me, we'd be fine."
Summer: "A-Are you really just going to go kill her...?"
Eren: "You saw the damage she caused Ruby. She also isn't my Yang. Whatever the Eren of this world thinks isn't my problem either."
Mom looks away sad and starts to cry to herself. But she isn't telling me to not do it. So.
Ruby: "Even if we do this...you said I'd come back with you. Where would that be?"
Eren: "My world, Ruby."
Ruby: "Your world?"
Eren: "Yep. We'd travel back to my world and you'd live there instead."
Ruby: "T-There's gotta be some rule against that, right?"
Eren: "Oh I'm sure there is for most universes. Mine? I'm already an anomaly. My timeline was chosen to basically be a sandbox of entertainment for the Gods."
Ruby: "I assume me and the others exist there."
Eren: "Yes. Including a certain blonde hair boy you guys apparently used to own?"
I see the color in Rubys face go away.
Ruby: "J-Jaune...?"
Eren: "Yep. That's the one. Where I live the Faunus and Humans live in mostly peace. Some people still clinging to that old shit but it's whatever at this point. Once you get so strong like me you tend to not care about it anymore."
Ruby: "Wait...what else would happen? There couldn't just be two Rubys in one place!"
Eren: "I actually started dating Blake today while my main partner in crime for the past year has been a human version of Blake from another timeline I visited. Trust me, the rule book doesn't apply here."
Ruby sighs and looks at the floor processing what information she just got from me.
Ruby: "I...I see. Well. When do we go do this whole thing over there with Yang?"
Eren: "Whenever. I'm in no rush. I'm shocked you're treating me fairly. Both of you."
Summer: "Y-You may be a human but you're my son still. And now knowing that timelines and all of that exist...I don't care anymore. I love you the same as I love my own Eren."
That...that's really nice coming from her. Even if she isn't my own version of my mother, it's really heart warming to hear that.
Eren: "T-Thanks Mom."
She slowly gets up off the grass and puts a hand on my shoulder.
Summer: "How about we go in, okay? We can relax for a little bit until...that happens."
I nod and slowly walk towards the cabin with my Faunus mother and sister.
3rd person POV:
Ruby: "It's going to be really weird having another me around."
Blake: "Trust me. It's not going to be easy."
Weiss: "Does Eren have some grand plan behind this?"
Dark: "Doesn't seem so. He does all these kinds of things in the moment."
Yang: "I-I guess it's nice seeing Eren connect with mom even if it isn't our own mom."
Ruby: "What are we going to call that Ruby when she stays in our world?"
Weiss: "We can probably figure that out quickly once we meet her."
Blake: "We seriously going to ignore the fact that Eren has a kid in this timeline and we don't know who the mom is?"
Yang: "You're right! I have a nephew somewhere and I won't be able to meet him!"
Blake: "Their name is Rhodes Rose as well."
Ruby: "Seems like that name finally came in handy after all."
Weiss: "Are we just going to sit here outside while they do whatever?"
Dark: "Maybe you lot should meet them. It appears that Erens existence here has broken their perspective of how their own world works. Their own family being a human where humans are treated as dirt has shifted everything."
Blake: "I guess we could? You said this world is going to be destroyed?"
Dark: "Yes. Very much so."
Yang: "As much as I want to see this kind of world go away, especially with how most of us ended up, I feel really bad for Mom down there. Same with Dad and this worlds Eren."
Dark: "When it comes to this kind of thing that me and my brother and even Eren to a degree do, you have to throw your own morality out of the way and think for the greater good of everything."
Weiss: "Our world?"
Dark: "If Eren died and we didn't step in, your world would be an exact copy of the original timeline besides the permanent guilt of Erens death."
Yang and Ruby look down with shame and guilt on their face while Blake looks sad at the thought of a world where Eren is dead.
Weiss: "Let's go down there and meet them then."
The bubble moves down and lands in front of the house. The bubble dissolves and the 5 of them stand there near the front door.
Dark: "You lot have fun. Eren will press his button when we're finally ready to leave. I shall head back to the Throne World now."
And like that, he disappears.
Team RWBY are all in their own Faunus forms, besides Blake...because you know...already a Faunus, but they think they won't need to stay for long.
Ruby shakily walks up to the door and knocks. Thanks to her new ears she can hear the talking and moving behind the door. The older Ruby says she'll get it and walks towards the door.
It opens...
(F. Ruby = Faunus Ruby until she comes to the main world and I think of something)
F. Ruby: "Hello?..."
Ruby: "...hi."
.....
Eren: "Hm...? RUBY?! WAIT, HOW ARE YOU GUYS HERE?!"
Ruby: "C-Can we come in...older me?"
F. Ruby: "Oh! Yeah yeah come in..."
She steps aside and lets Team RWBY inside but doesn't keep her eyes off of the other 3 girls despite another version of herself being in the room.
Eren: "How the hell are you guys here?!"
Yang: "We...uh...got a little sneaky when you went through the portal."
Eren: "Ugh...I'm guessing Dark was being your guide?"
Yang: "Yep. I'm...I'm glad to see you though."
Eren: "How much did you guys see of me while we've been here?"
Weiss: "..."
Ruby: "..."
Blake: "..."
Yang: "Most of it. We didn't see you inside the bullhead but knew you were there."
Eren: "...so you saw me free Jaune, Cardin and the others and kill Velvet?"
Summer: "You killed Captain Velvet?!"
F. Ruby: "What?!"
Eren: "I don't think that's important anymore. Anyways...you saw a lot of stuff that I wished you guys wouldn't see...but it doesn't matter anymore."
He looks over at Blake with a saddened look.
Eren: "I'm guessing you're scared of me now? I just look like some relentless psycho killer to you now."
Blake: "N-No! I'm not scared! I watched you kill Adam on live television...I watched you power up into these monstrous levels of power. I watched you destroy an alternate version of Beacon. But you always have a positive reason to do these things. Yeah...you have a positive reason but the actual thing you do aren't exactly that. But the God of Dark told us the truth on why you come to these worlds specifically..."
Eren: "Because they're already..."
Blake: "Yes...But don't worry Eren. I still love you."
She walks over to Eren on the couch and sits with him, kissing his cheek and hugging him.
