The Search

You and Moon stepped out into the MegaPlex. Big as usual. The lighting was dim, dim enough to keep Moon out.
"What are we looking for?" You asked Moon.
"We're looking for Freddy. He seems like the only one who isn't corrupted." Moon answered.
You hummed in response. You stayed silent for a while as you searched the MegaPlex.
"You okay Starshine?" Moon asked.
"Oh, yea, I'm fine."
'What happens if the virus takes Moon over?'
"Hey, Moon?"
"Yes Starshine?"
"What happens if the virus takes you over?"
Moon paused. He shuddered.
"D-don't worry about it. That won't happen." He said, you could tell he was scared.

Moon was scared for Y/N, what would happen if the virus took over. They'd have to be running all over the place.
As if the daycare was big enough already. The architects just had to make an even bigger shit hole.

You searched the MegaPlex for hours until the lights flashed back on.
You glanced at your watch
4:30
Ninety minutes until opening.
"Are you tired Sunshine?" Sun asked.
"Hm?" You questioned, you couldn't focus on anything with how tired you were.
"Oh, I'm fine." You lied.
You were the exact opposite.
You were miserable.
"You haven't slept since you got here." Sun said worriedly.
"I can assure you that I'm fine." You snapped, you quickly put a hand over your mouth. You didn't mean to yell at him like that.
Stupid sleep deprivation.
Sun let out an exasperated sigh. "If you say so Sunshine." Sun said.

You and Sun searched the MegaPlex for hours and you found nothing.
What a waste of time.
"Hey, we should head back.." Sun said.
"I was going to say the exact same thing." You replied.
"Glad we're on the same page Sunshine."
