Y/n: Tae, breakfast is ready. Come and eat before we start the day. After that, I'll help you with your tie.
Taehyung: On my way, Mrs. Kim
He replied as he made his way downstairs
My cheeks flushed crimson at his endearing nickname for me. It was unexpected, yet it warmed my heart

As I adjusted his tie, I sensed his intense gaze on me, something he hadn't done before
Taehyung: I'm heading out now. Goodbye, honey
Y/n: Uh, g-goodbye
As he was leaving, he paused, leaving me perplexed. He leaned in and pressed a tender kiss to my forehead before departing
My heart fluttered at the unexpected gesture. Why was I feeling so flustered? I couldn't help but burst into laughter, feeling a mix of excitement and confusion.

I couldn't shake off the warm feeling that lingered from the morning's encounter. While standing under the shower, thoughts raced through my mind about what to do next. A mischievous grin crept onto my face as I contemplated my next move

Taehyung: Hey, sweetheart
Y/n: uh, y-yeah
Taehyung: Did you enjoy?
Y/n: Enjoy what?
Taehyung: This morning
What is he getting at? Is he talking about that kiss? But he was asleep, right? Or was he? Oh no, what should I say? Why is he bringing this up? - She thought in her mind
Y/n: Um, how was the dinner, Tae?
He struggled to contain his laughter
Taehyung: Delicious, as always, sweetheart
His use of 'sweetheart' echoed loudly, causing her cheeks to flush
Taehyung: Y/n, I'll take care of the dishes tonight, okay?
He chuckled and left
What's going on today? He's making me blush so much, goodness - She thought in her mind

After finishing the dishes, I went in search of her and found her standing on the balcony, gazing up at the sky. I quietly approached
"What are you doing?" I inquired
She flinched slightly. "You scared me!"
I chuckled, but then my phone rang
"Whose call is that at this time?" she asked, her curiosity piqued
"My ex," I replied casually
"What!? You said you don't have any girlfriend-" she started, her voice rising with surprise
"Kidding, Mrs. Jealousy," I interjected, flashing a playful grin "It's just my mom calling
"Sure, Mrs. Jealousy," I teased, noticing the hint of a blush creeping onto her cheeks as she rolled her eyes.
"I'm not jealous," she retorted, rolling her eyes as I smirked
"I can see that," I replied with a smirk, enjoying the playful banter
"Pick up the call, Mr. Kim!" she urged, her impatience evident
"Ayyy, I forgot," I admitted, feigning innocence. "I was just lost in you..."
As I reached for the phone, I couldn't help but notice how adorable she looked trying to suppress her blush
"Put it on speaker, I wanna talk to her too"
I smiled at her request and obliged, putting the call on speakerphone
-On Call-
Taehyung: Hello
Mrs. Kim: Yahhhhh Kim Taehyung!! What's taking you so long to pick your mom's call, huh?
Taehyung: Aish, lady, calm down... I just got lost somewhere
I chuckled, sneaking a glance at her. She swiftly turned away.
Mrs. Kim: Lady?? Such a-
Taehyung: Mom! Is it okay now?
Mrs. Kim: That's my son! How are you guys doing?
Taehyung: We're doing good. How about you and dad?
Mrs. Kim: We're good too! Where is Y/n? I miss her a lot
Y/n: Mom, I'm right here! I missed you too...
Mrs. Kim: You're with her right now!! Taehyung, I understand now why you took so long to answer... It's okay, I forgive you
We both burst into laughter, and I glanced at her, noticing her flushed cheeks
Taehyung: Thanks, Mrs. Kim, for your forgiveness
Mrs. Kim: You find it hard to call me mom, uh?
Taehyung: Aishhh, Mom, alright? And yeah, why the sudden call?
Mrs. Kim: Oh, I totally forgot about that! Tomorrow's the weekend, so I was thinking, why not have you and Y/n here for just one day? Son, I know you're swamped with work, but your appa and I miss you both terribly! Especially me, I miss my daughter so much
Y/n: I miss you so much
Taehyung: I'm feeling betrayed...
Both ladies chuckled softly, yet my lady appeared exceptionally endearing

Taehyung: Okay, mom, we'll come
Y/n jumped in excitement, and I gently ruffled her hair, causing her to immediately stop
Aish, don't be this cute
Mrs. Kim: That's my son!! Okay, goodnight, both of you. Sleep well and ENJOY!
With a laugh, she hung up. "Aish, this lady is really something," I remarked, hanging up the call and turning to look at Y/n, who was slowly stepping back as I was walking closer to her
-Y/n POV-
My heart is pounding so hard, he staring at my soul while walking closer. For my heart's safety, I gave him the excuse of needing sleep, but he's too smart for that. He ignored it while stepping closer to me while I was freaking out. Finally, my back hit the wall, leaving only centimeters between us. I thought something.... I just closed my eyes tightly

Taehyung delighted in teasing her, although his heart raced every time he did so. As she closed her eyes tightly, hoping for a kiss, he instead gently brushed her hair back behind her ear before playfully making his way towards their bedroom, stifling a laugh. leaving her surprised when she opened her eyes
•In The Bedroom•
She walked in, feeling embarrassed. Avoiding eye contact, she quickly headed to the bed, closed her eyes, and turned her back to him, not wanting to face him
Taehyung: Are you asleep already?
She remained silent
Taehyung: Y/n, there's a lizard on your nightstand....
Startled, she quickly opened her eyes and sat up, which made him laugh
Taehyung: Pretending huh?Y/n: uh, What is it?
Taehyung: Why were you pretending to sleep? you just got here few seconds ago
Y/n: It's just... Lets sleep, Good NightShe said it so quickly, which he found cute, chuckling before saying
Taehyung: Alright, Alright. Can I do that?
He asked, sitting up straight and facing her
Y/n: Huh... What are you talking about?
Taehyung: What you did this morning
Y/n: I---
Suddenly, he leaned in close and gently kissed her cheek. He grin bashful and glanced down, noticing how her cheeks flushed red at his gesture, feeling the same warmth spread within him
-Next Morning-
As they made their way to his parents house, Taehyung drove and engaged in casual conversation with her. After thirty minutes of driving, they reached their destination
From the car, they spotted Mr. and Mrs. Kim standing by the doorY/n quickly got out of the car and embraced Mrs. Kim tightly, while Taehyung and his dad watched with smiles on their faces
After a warm conversation and lunch, the day came to an end, and it was now 7 in the evening
Mrs. Kim headed to the kitchen to prepare dinner, with Y/n following closely behind, saying
Y/n: Let me help you, MomMrs.Kim: No, sweetie, I've got it..
Y/n: Please, mom
She slightly pout, which made Mrs.Kim to giggle
Mrs.Kim: Alright

While eating dinner, Mrs. Kim reminisced about Taehyung's childhood antics. Y/n laughed heartily as she listened to all the cute stories about him
Mrs. Kim: Yes, he just fell into the water... Your dad immediately jumped in to pick him up. Back then, we didn't have mobile phones to record it
Y/n, Mr. Kim, and Mrs. Kim burst into laughter
Taehyung: Mom, please stop... It's so embarrassing. You should understand I was small back then
Mrs.Kim: Even now, you're still my baby
The three of them laughed again, but Y/n quickly stopped when she noticed Taehyung becoming increasingly embarrassed. She swiftly changed the topic to something else, diverting attention away from the embarrassing moment. A smile formed on Taehyung's face watching how quickly she understands him
Mrs. Kim: It's getting late, we've talked enough. Let's head to bed now, Taehyung?
Taehyung: Yes, mom?
Mrs. Kim: You both can sleep in your old room, alright? I've already tidied it up
Taehyung: But, Mo--Before he could finish, she cut in
Mrs. Kim: Good night
She winked at him and left for her room with her husband
The fact was, the room she mentioned only had a bed meant for a single person, and she intentionally put them there
Taehyung chuckled while looking at Y/n, who was waiting for him, obviously unsure of where the room was and waiting for him to guide her
Taehyung: Let's go
Y/n: Tae, how are we going to sleep here?
Taehyung: Um, yeah! There isn't another bed
She nervously looked at me. I chuckled and intentionally said
Taehyung: You go ahead and sleep, okay? I'll sleep in the living room on the couch--
Y/n: No, don't sleep outside. It's not comfortable, and it's cold. Let's just sleep here. It's just for tonight
He smiled warmly at her understanding words, feeling fortunate to have a wife like her
As she lay down on the bed, Taehyung joined her, lying behind her. She felt his warm breath on her neck, causing goosebumps to erupt all over her body. She tried to calm her racing heart, but when Taehyung wrapped his arms around her waist, she couldn't help but feel overwhelmed, Then taehyung said
Taehyung: Y/nieeee, if my touch bothers you, just let me know. I don't want to make you feel uneasy. But if you're comfortable, face me and cuddle up. That way, I'll understand you're at ease with me
Y/n in her mind - His words melt my heart. How can someone be so kind and considerate? If he only wanted physical intimacy, he would have acted on it from day one. But he didn't. Now, he's deepening my feelings for him even more. Mom was right when she said, 'You won't regret this marriage, I promise' I smile at the memory of her words. Though I lack the courage to look at him, I tightly close my eyes, turn to face him, and cuddle up
Taehyung waited impatiently, and suddenly she turned to face him, hugging him tightly while burying her face in his chest. This time, his heart raced wildly, the feeling he experienced was pure bliss
Both of them smiled uncontrollably. Taehyung could feel her smile against his chest. They didn't exchange any words. Taehyung hugged her even tighter than before, and she let out a shy chuckle
