Dave POV:
"Yo I'm really ready to knock Karin ass out bro real talk" I said rolling up talking to CJ
"Bro relax you know how women get with shit like this" he said
Karin was stressing me out with this wedding shit, I told her to do what she want and she don't have no budget. I know she want me more involved in the decisions but I got so much going on with all my clubs right now. We working on opening one in New York right now and this was something special to me because that's my hometown. Which also means I haven't been home much and I'm traveling more so I know she feel a way but I still do every thing I can to show her how much I love her and that's not enough.
"I don't know shit but I know I'm about to fly Kenn and Lexi in so she can nag them about this and they can help her" I said lighting the weed
Kenn moved to Atlanta with Rari once they had the baby, CJ & Lexi was still in Texas. I'm not gone lie I miss my Niggas I'm ready to fly every body out and I want to see my nephew.
"Yo you heard me bro?" CJ said snapping me out of my trance
"Naw but y'all tryn come out here soon?" I asked
"Yeah that's cool just give me til the end of the week to handle a few things with the club" he said
"Ard cool. I'm gone hit you up later be safe bro" I said

I walked back in the house after smoking by the pool and clearing my thoughts. I walked into our bedroom seeing Karin sitting on the bench on her laptop.
She been beefing with me lately because it seem like I don't care about our wedding but I just got other shit going on. I trust her enough to handle every thing plus she has one of the best wedding planners, both our moms, her best friends and I did tell her what colors I want to wear and I'm going to the food and cake tasting with her.
I been working so hard so by the time we get married I can be home more with her and hopefully starting a family instead of always being inside the club. She don't see the bigger picture so we barely speaking right now.
It's getting late and I'm hungry I know her petty ass not gone cook but instead of me being petty too I'm gone get both of us food.
"Bae what you want for dinner?" I asked
No response, see this the dumb shit I be talking about
"Yo Karin !" I said getting louder
"What David?!" She yelled
"I asked what do you want to eat! Get rid of that dumb ass attitude cause I'm not feeling that shit" I yelled back
"I'll get my own food don't worry about me, go to your club or whatever else it is you do that keeps you out all night" she said flagging me
"You really getting on my fucking nerves with this shit! I have to be inside my club until I find somebody trust worthy enough to run the club. You think I don't want to be home in the bed with ya dumb ass?" I yelled
"Nigga you act like I'm asking you for a million dollars I'm asking you for quality time what the fuck?! If this is how it's gone be being your wife then I—" I cut her off cause now she about to make me snap on her
"THEN WHAT?!" I yelled getting in her face and she backed up towards the bed
"Every thing I'm doing is for a better future for us but you don't give a fuck about that! I put half a mil on your finger fuck is you talking about? I do everything right, I do whatever you ask of me & I'm not home a few days here and there and you making it a big deal. I told you months ago from the beginning I will have to travel so what the fuck is the problem now?" I asked with a mug on my face
"I'm tired of fucking being here with your security, sleeping alone. This wedding isn't just for me either it's for both of us, one of the biggest moments in our lives so yeah it means a lot to me for you to be here. This shit isn't easy like you think and honestly your mom is getting on my last fucking nerve" she said rolling her eyes
I sighed heavily
"Ma trust me I want to be home with you more, that's why I'm doing what I've been doing. I'm tryn put a baby in you right after the wedding and be at home with you and our baby. I want to get us a new house built from the ground up with both our inputs. I got so much shit in store for us baby you just gotta stick it out with me and know that I'm not neglecting and I love you a whole lot" I said wrapping my arms around her waist and kissing her cheek.
She leaned into me closing her eyes and wrapping her arms around my neck.
"I know pa and I love you too, this is just overwhelming on top of still working at my salon and when I have those long days you're not here with me." She said removing her arms from my neck and sitting back
"Next week I'm flying all your friends in so you can have some help while I'm not here and I can be able to see my nephew when I get back" I said massaging her shoulders
"I miss his badd ass" I said chuckling in her ear
"My god son is not bad he's busy" she said laughing
Brix was 5 months now but he's so advanced he's already crawling and pulling hisself to a stand and getting into everything
My phone started ringing breaking me out of my trance
"Yo" I answered
"Bro I found us flights for tomorrow I got somebody to run the club we'll be there in the afternoon" Rari said
"Ard send me your info so I can grab y'all from the airport" I said
"Ard bro I'm sending it now" he said hanging up
"I'm about to head out mamas give me a kiss" I said getting in her face
"Ok" she said pouting
"I won't be gone long 3 hours max" I said kissing her multiple times
"Ok I love you pa" she said
"I love you too baby" I said walking out the room going to the garage to get in my car
I feel bad as shit because I started fucking with this lil bitch in New York I met traveling back and forth for the new club. Shit wasn't nothing serious but I know when I fly out there this weekend I gotta end shit with her she don't know I'm engaged.
My phone started ringing through the speaker of my car and speaking of the devil
"Yo" I answered my phone
"Wassup baby? I'm seeing you this weekend?" Jade asked
"Yeah I got time for you" I said smirking
"Ok because I miss you papa" she said sounding sad
"Don't worry you'll see daddy soon baby" I said chuckling
"Keep talking like that and ima have something wet waiting for you" she said
"I like the sound of that but let me hit you back I'm about to handle some shit" I said
"Ok talk to you later papa" she said blowing a kiss into the phone
"Ard" I said hanging up
Getting out the car I walked into the club going to check on shit before I fly out to New York this weekend.

I'm Jade & I'm 24 years old, I live in New York born and raised just like Dave. I met him 2 months ago he was getting his hair braided by my home girl & hit her up about me once he left. We went on a date and shit has just been good with us since. Now I'm no dummy I've seen his Instagram, I've seen the shade room on New Years I know that he was engaged but neither of them have been posting each other since and I figured since he came at me they probably called off the engagement. Im not one to nag but I definitely gone ask him about it this weekend because it's been lingering in my mind. Dave is good to me he pay my bills and give me anything I want on top of the good ass dick he be giving me but, I want to be more than whatever we are right now even if I gotta get that bitch Karin out my way it is what it is.
After hanging up with Dave I FaceTime my best friend Alyssa
Alyssa: hey sis what's up?
Me: Girl what is you doing to your face? I asked laughing
Alyssa: I always do a face mask after I take my makeup off
Me: soooo Dave is coming to the city this weekend and said he gone spend time with me
Alyssa: girl you need to be figuring out if he still with that girl or not?
Me: Girl and if she is that bitch gone have to move right on over because I'm coming for what's mine period
Alyssa: girl you are crazy but I feel you cause I be crazy over my nigga too , she said laughing
Me: yeah Im not coming off that nigga until I feel like it
Alyssa: period !!
Me: I can't wait to see him this weekend and get some dick, I said sticking out my tongue
Alyssa: finally cause I'm tired of your ass walking around with an attitude
Me: hold on this Dave calling me back
I switched over before she could answer
Me: hey baby
Dave: baby girl I'm flying in sooner than I thought so I'll see you tomorrow. You got to work?
Me: no I took the week off but you better come straight to me when you land
Dave: I got you baby you know I'm trying to slide up in that , he said smiling
I playfully rolled my eyes blushing
Me: and you know I'm gone let you slide up in me papas
Dave: I like the sound of that but I'm about to leave the club and go home to pack I'll hit you tomorrow

I hung up smiling like a teenage girl. I got up to start cleaning up the apartment so everything can be in order like it was last time he came over
I tried calling Alyssa back but she didn't answer so I connected my Alexa and blasted R&B while I cleaned.
