Caesar opened his eyes and saw someone familiar.
It was Aika.
He quickly rose from laying down. He forgot that he has wounds in his hands.
Without the presence of alcohol, he felt every pain.
Caesar: ughhhhhhhhhhhhh...
Aika quickly assisted him.
Aika: slow down Caesar. Your wounds are still fresh.
Aika saw the bandages getting red. She was worried.
Aika: wait I'll call the nurse.
But Caesar held her hand.
Caesar: No!! Don't go. Don't go.. Aika please stay. I'm okay.
Aika: But your hands are bleeding!
Caesar: No!!!
He held her still. Aika didn't have a choice. She reached out for her phone and called Tricia.
Tricia: Hello ate?
Aika: Hi Trish, I'm in Caesar's room. He woke up and his hands are bleeding. Di ako makaalis to get the nurse.
Tricia: Bakit hindi ka makaalis, ate?
Aika: Ayaw niya akong bitawan.
Tricia laughed at the other line. The two were like kids.
Tricia: sige ate, will go there.
Tricia arrived in the room with Cedrick. She saw all his bandages were red.
Tricia: What happened!?
Aika: He got up suddenly after waking up.
After Tricia finished checking and wrapping his wounds again, the two decided to leave them so that they can talk.
The two were silent.
He was laying on his bed and she was seating near him.
Caesar broke the silence.
Caesar: Aika...
Aika: Don't ask please, Caesar.
Caesar: But.....
Aika put her finger on his lips.
Aika: No questions... I just want to be with you even if its ....
She didn't finished her sentence.
Caesar: Aika, just tell me please. I can work this out.
She shake her head. She kissed his forehead and lay down on his side. Her face facing his.
Aika: Stop asking questions hon. I just want this moment with you.
Caesar: Aika, madami akong tanong.
Aika: At di ko lahat masasagot Caesar. Baka may mga tanong lang talaga na hindi dapat masagot.
He moved in closer, grabbing her and moving her closer to him.
Caesar: Isa lang ang gusto ko malaman Aika.
His face in front of hers, his lips centimeters away from her.
Caesar: Aika, ako pa ba ang mahal mo?
But Aika didn't respond, instead, she wrapped him in her arms. His head on her chest.
She couldn't say anything. But she wanted to atleast let him hear her heartbeat. Her heartbeat saying yes each time it beats.
She was afraid to let go.
She knew after this day, after this day,
Everything would come to an end
Caesar hearing her heartbeat felt at peace. He didn't want this to end.
He reached out for her lips, she let him be.
His lips touching hers. His hand around her body. Aika let him be. As she played with his hair. touching his skin.
She just can't get enough of him and kissed him again.
How she wished she could stay with him
How she wished she could be with him.
But no, she can't. This was the end to it.
But how she wished if only the world could just let them be.
Aika: Caesar, if someone can give you a wish, what would you wish for?
Caesar didn't hesitate.
Caesar: You, Aika. It would always be a wish where you would be with me forever.
He kissed her again. Yeah, that wish was enough. It was enough for him.
But that was a wish she couldn't grant.
Caesar was still recovering from his wounds. He had to rest well and get some sleep but he was fighting the sleepiness because he didn't want to take his eyes off of her.
But she noticed.
Aika: Hon, you need to sleep.
Caesar: Its okay, I'm not sleepy.
Aika: Hon.
Caesar: Ayoko. Baka mawala ka bukas pag gising ko hon. I won't let that happen.
Aika smiled at him. She kissed him to assure him that everything would be alright.
Aika: Close your eyes. Pag gising mo. I'll be by your side.
Caesar: You promise?
Aika kissed his forehead.
Aika: I promise. I'll be here when you wake up.

Morning came, Caesar woke up. Aika was sleeping by his side.
He smiled. He imagined her being his wife, waking up with the same scene.
That would be perfect.
He kissed her forehead that made her woke up.
Aika: Goodmorning.
She said with a groggy voice. Caesar kissed him on her lips and said.
Caesar: Goodmorning hon.
She smiled at him but her eyes were full of sadness. This was the day. The day that she was gonna tell him.
Aika hugged him. Tightly.
The nurse came in and brought breakfast for the patient. Aika got off the bed and arranged everything for him
Caesae looked at the food. This was good enough for two.
Caesar: Hon, come here. Let's eat.
Aika smiled. He always make her his priority. No matter what. She sat by his side as she feed him some food. He was delightfully eating everything she fed him.
Aika: Caesar, you should always be like this okay?
Caesar: What do you mean hon?
Aika left the words she wished for him to be. From the bottom of her heart, she said.
Aika: You should always be happy.
Caesar looked at her.
Caesar: Are you gonna leave me again?
Aika hugged him.
Caesar: Aika, please stay.
He was now crying. She's gonna leave him again.
Aika wiped his tears.
Aika: Don't cry hon. It's gonna be okay.
Caesar: How can it be okay when you're gonna leave me Aika!?
Aika: I don't know how, but I know you will be.

Caesar: I can still fix this hon. please.
Aika kissed him one last time.

Aika gave him the ring he bought in Dublin.

Caesar looked at her, tears in his eyes as he said

But Caesar had enough.
Caesar: No Cedrick.
This time I wanna go home.
Dahil wala na akong babalikan dito, Cedrick.
He has decided as well.
He has decided to let it all go.

On the day of Caesar's flight.
Caesar already decided. He was leaving for good. As he was leaving, he was still holding on to the ring that Aika returned to him.
He looked at it.
Sayang.
It was the perfect ring for her. It was the one and only ring made exclusively for her.
But now, it's nothing more than a waste.
He proceeded to go to the nearest trash bin.
And he threw the ring.
As he threw it, he said the words with a firm decision on his mind.
Caesar: I'll make sure to get back what was stolen from me.
I'll make sure those people will pay.
And this time.
I'll make sure I'll be happy even if it's not with you, Aika.
He said these words and left.
But little did he know, someone saw what happened and heard his words.
It was her. Aika.
She knew he was leaving so she decided to look at him one last time but what she saw, what she heard affirmed that he had also decided to move on.
Just like how she planned it should be.

Eugene was getting impatient.

He decided to get her back.
Eugene knocked on Robredos condo unit door and it was Aika who answered.
He grabbed her immediately. Hurting her wrists.
Eugene: Lumakas ang loob mo nung nagkita kayo ah. Kala mo papakawalan kita. Ikakasal ka sakin Aika, sa ayaw mo o sa gusto.
Leni heard the quarrel and immediately went to check on it.
She saw her daughter being abused by Eugene.
But as she was about to yell. Aika fought back at him.

Eugene was surprised. She shouldn't be acting like this. She should have been tamed already.
Aika: Kasal? Akala mo papakasalan kita? Never Eugene. Mamamatay ako kesa pakasalan kita!
Aika never wore the ring Eugene gave after the hospital scene. She got the ring and threw it at him.
Aika: Ayan ang singsing mo, ibigay mo yan kay Cha at magsama kayo!! Magsama kayo mabulok.
Eugene was pissed. But he knew her weakness. Caesar, yes he can always use Caesar.
Eugene: Ahhh. So paano si..
But Aika cut him off.
Aika: Caesar???
Aika laughed.
Aika: Gagamitin mo ako ulit para saktan siya? Pwes, Eugene di mo na yan magagawa.
Eugene was confused.
Aika: Dahil wala na Eugene. Wala na siyang babalikan dito.
I made sure he can move on and he will move on.
So kahit patayin mo ako dito, kahit gamitin mo ang pangalan ko, wala kang makukuhang reaksyon sa kanya.
He will take everything back
He will make sure both of you will pay.
So kung ako sayo, magtago kana.
Dahil mismo ako, hindi makakapigil sa galit niya.
Eugene wanted to punch her but as he was about to. Someone stopped his hand.
It was Cedrick with Tricia at the back.
Cedrick threw Eugene outside the Condo. As he was laying there, he stepped on his fingers.
This made Eugene scream.
Eugene: aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Cedrick: My brother is not that kind. So if I were you, I would hide myself well Eugene.
Eugene was scared and ran away from the scene.

Caesar arrived in the office. Aya was setting up everything.
Caesar: What's the update Aya?
Aya: I recovered some but not all Caesar. It's quite hard. You came back early. We can still recover everything but....
Caesar: But??
Aya: It's complicated.

Aya looked at him and said.

Caesar kneeled in front of her, taking out the ring he wanted to give to Aika.
