VERA DAVENPORT'S HEAD was a broken, twisted, tangle of wires. Why she was like that, no one could be sure, and quite frankly almost no one knew of the madness inside her head.
Her family knew. Her mom birthed the mess and didn't bother to fix it, her dad ripped her apart to "build" her into his perfect daughter, and her brothers gave her the tools to manipulate anyone she wanted, so much so that she began to manipulate herself.
Everything that seemed to go wrong in her life wasn't her fault - how could it be her bad when she was so perfect ( as her dad told her so ). It tended to hurt people, her knack of never admitting she was wrong.
And the one time she admitted she was wrong, the one time she took the fall for something she just *had* to do something about it. And something she did.
That "something" just so happened to be deadly, and wild and twisted, all of the things she was.
That "something" just so happened to lead her to create a group of smart, action-led student with an intimidating amount of closeness to the president - the same president she planned to kill with the same group of smart, action-led student's that led her into the whole thing in the beginning!
What could she say? Every girl needs to have a little bit of fun with a man.

━━ ii . . . make things make sense! this apply fic is set in arlington Virginia and DC, and the students go to a rich private school - it's a very rich area, old money type of vibe. your oc doesn't even have to come from money but make it realistic - give me parents with careers in journalism, law, congressmen, people that work close to the president as staff agents, hell, even give me oc's with parents and jobs working minimum wage jobs in the white house ( maids, cooks, interns ). your oc has to make sense - they have to have a motive to hate the president, and they can't have a perfect personality- they are planning to kill the president after all.
━━ iii . . . also, make oc's interesting and diverse! don't apply with a basic, white, cishetero mary/gary sue and expect to be accepted. your more likely to be accepted if you apply with males, poc, nonbinary ppl, DIVERSE CHARACTERS.
