PHOENIX, ARIZONA - PRISON HOSPITAL ROOM

Emma was giving birth in a prison hospital room while doctors and nurses tended to her. The clock struck 8:15.

"Big breath," the doctor said. "Breathe away, breathe away."

"Okay, here we go," the nurse told her.

"You're doing great. Hang on, hang on."

"You're almost there."

"You're doing fine."

"Keep breathing."

"You're doing fantastic. That's it. Breath, breath, breath! Doing great. You're doing great. Here you go. Keep going. Yep. Breathe, breathe. Take a deep breath. Okay big push, big push." Emma screamed. "Push, push, push!" The lights flickered and went out as Henry was born.

Emma sighed in exhaustion.

The doctor held the baby. "Great. Here we go. That's good. That's beautiful." He looked at the baby. "How you doing?" He looked to Emma. "It's a boy, Emma."

Emma looked away.

"Emma?" the doctor called.

Emma shook her head and the nurse whispered in the doctor's ear.

After a moment, the doctor said, "Oh. Emma, just so you know, you can change your mind."

"No, I can't be a mother," Emma told him, crying as the doctor took the baby away.

MAGIC BEAN'S PORTAL

Emma, David, Mary Margaret, Mr. Gold, Jefferson, Nevaeh and Regina held tight to the ropes on the Jolly Roger with Hook at the helm as the ship crossed through the portal. They finally landed on Neverland's waters. The group looked around in confusion.

"Is that it?!" Emma cried.

"Aye, Neverland," Hook confirmed.

Emma and Nevaeh gazed at the island with determination.

NEVERLAND ISLAND

Henry and Grace landed on the shore after falling through the portal. They attempted to get up and run.

"No, uh-uh, uh, uh, uh," Greg said, grabbed Henry and Grace by their coats and shoved them. "Slow down, pal, little girl. You got nowhere to go."

Tamara sighed. "We made it. Mission accomplished."

Henry narrowed his eyes. "Are you sure about that? 'Cause my mom is coming to get me. Both of them. Her parents are coming to get her."

"You might wanna take a look around, kid," Greg said. "Do you see any clock towers? You're a long way from Storybrooke."

"It doesn't matter! Our family's been to the Enchanted Forest before, and they can get here again."

Tamara heard a weird howling noise and looked around. "Well, we're not in the Enchanted Forest. This is Neverland."

"Neverland?" Grace repeated. "You're here to destroy Neverland?"

"It's the mother lode of magic." She turned to Greg. "Where's the communicator? We need to sign the Home Office."

Greg took the communicator from his backpack. "Here you go, T."

"An office in the jungle?" Henry questioned. "Who works there?"

Greg stood and walked towards the twins. "Who we work for is not your concern, kid. Just know that they take care of us."

"Do they? Can they tell you how to get back home after you destroy magic?"

"We don't ask questions. We just believe in our cause."

Tamara was trying to operate the communicator. "Greg?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm not getting a status light on this thing." She handed Greg the communicator.

"Did you check the batteries?" He opened the battery compartment and sand fell out.

"What the hell is this? A toy?"

Henry and Grace smirked as the former said, "It's a good thing you guys don't ask any questions."

Greg looked at Tamara. "Let's go." He turned to the children. "Walk!"

JOLLY ROGER

Hook slowed the ship and Regina noticed.

"Why are you slowing down?" Regina asked. "In case you didn't know, my son's life is in danger, as is an innocent girl's!"

"Oh, I know, my hot-headed Queen," Hook replied. "The plan is to bring us to the far side of the island, link up with the widest part of the river, and... then we sail right through, take him by surprise. The irony..."

"What irony?"

"Oh, I spent more time than I care to remember trying to leave this place to kill Rumpelstiltskin. And here I am, sailing right back into its heart with him as my guest of honor. It's not quite the happy ending I was hoping for."

"Greg Mendell said something funny to me. He said I'm a villain, and that villains don't get happy endings. You believe that?"

"I hope not, or we've wasted our lives."

Jefferson walked up to his wife and pulled her into his arms. "We'll find them, Veah."

Nevaeh nodded. "I know. I have hope."

"Good. Hold onto it, don't let it get snuffed out."

Emma was standing along the ship's railing, gazing out at sea. Mary Margaret and David approached her.

After a moment, Mary Margaret said, "What happened to Neal, and Henry and Grace, it's not your fault. You can't blame yourself."

"I don't," Emma replied. "I don't blame you. All this happened because I listened to you. You say good always wins? It doesn't. I didn't grow up in some fairy tale land. My experience is different, that's all I can go on."

"And all we have to go on is ours, so if you would just let us share our wisdom-"

"I appreciate you trying to be parents, but we're the same age. We have equal amounts of wisdom. And all I want is Henry back. All Nevaeh and Jefferson want is Grace back. I should never have broken the curse. I should've just taken Henry and-"

"You're right. Th-Then you'd be together. We missed you growing up Emma, and it haunts us every day."

"And that's why we're here now," David said. "We don't want you to have to go through the same thing, too, and you won't. We are gonna get our family back."

"How can you two be so infuriatingly optimistic?" Emma asked.

"It's who we are."

"Why? Ever since you got your memories back, ever since you remembered that you're Snow White and Prince Charming, your lives have... they've... well, they've sucked!"

"No. No, we found you."

"And lost Henry! And Neal, and countless other people! Nevaeh and Jefferson lost their daughter!"

"Emma, the minute I let go of that belief that things will get better is the minute that I know they won't," Mary Margaret said. "We'll find them."

"No, you won't," Mr. Gold corrected.

Everyone turned to see Mr. Gold standing at the helm in his Rumpelstiltskin outfit.

"Oh, that's a great use of our time -- a wardrobe change!" Hook commented sarcastically.

"I'm gonna get Henry," Mr. Gold told them.

Regina frowned. "We agreed to do this together."

"Actually, we made no such agreement."

"Why are you doing this?" Emma and Jefferson asked.

"Because I wanna succeed."

"What makes you think I'm gonna fail?" Emma shot back.

"Well, how could you not? You don't believe in your parents, or in magic, or even yourself."

"I stayed a dragon, I think I believe."

"Only what was shown to you. When have you ever taken a real leap of faith? You know, the kind where there's absolutely no proof? I've known you some time, Miss Swan. And, sadly, despite everything you've been through, you're still just that... bail bonds-person, looking for evidence. Well, dearie, that's not gonna work in Neverland."

"I'll do whatever it takes."

"Well, you just need someone to tell you what that is. Sorry, dearie, our foe is too fearsome for hand-holding. Neverland is a place where imagination runs wild. And, sadly, your doesn't." He spun his cane, which fell to the deck.

Seconds later, Mr. Gold was gone from the ship and only his cane remained.

NEVERLAND'S ISLAND

In the jungle, Greg started a fire.

"We making s'mores?" Henry asked.

Grace smiled. "S'mores are delicious."

"No," Greg replied as he patted the palms. "Building a signal. Help me gather some dry leaves. We need to let the Home Office know that we're here?"

"And what if that's not enough?" Tamara asked. "What if the empty communicator wasn't an accident?"

"Don't let the kids get in your head."

There was a rustling and Greg asked, "Who are you?"

"We're the Home Office," a blond boy said. "Welcome to Neverland."

Tamara frowned. "The "Home Office" is a bunch of teenagers?"

"They're not teenagers. They're the lost boys," Henry corrected.

"Look at that," the boy said.

"Why do the lost boys want to destroy magic?" Grace asked.

"Who said we wanna destroy magic?"

"That was our mission," Greg said.

"So you were told. Yes. Now the boy and the girl. Hand them over."

"Not until you tell us the plan... for magic, for getting home," Tamara said.

"You're not getting home," the boy told them.

"Then you're not getting the boy or the girl," Greg retorted.

"Of course we are."

A shadow swooped in and ripped out Greg's shadow.

"Aah!" Greg cried before falling down dead.

"Run!" Tamara yelled.

"Get the boy and the girl," Mystery Boy ordered.

Tamara was shot in the back with an arrow.

As Henry and Grace ran, they tripped, got up, and continued running.

They continued running and tripped again and were picked up by a hooded boy who pulled them off the trail.

"Come on," the hooded boy said as they panted.

"Where'd they go?!" a lost boy asked.

"This way!" another lost boy guessed.

Henry and Grace looked at their LM bn rescuer. "Thanks."

"Pan and his forces are in tune with every grain of sand on the island. We must be careful," Hooded Boy warned.

"Are... are you a lost boy?" Henry asked.

"I was." Hooded Boy cut the ties around Henry and Grace's wrists. "But I escaped. And now they're after me, too."

"How? What happened?"

"No time for questions. We must keep moving. Come on."

JOLLY ROGER

Emma was doing pull-ups in the ship's crew quarters while Nevaeh brandished a sword and Hook joined them.

Emma grunted and was breathing heavily and let out a deep exhale.

"Oh," Hook commented. "Don't stop on my account."

"Wouldn't think of it," Emma replied, rolling her eyes and resumed her pull-ups.

"What are you doing?"

"Getting ready for a fight," Emma and Nevaeh replied.

"Well, I've never known either of you you to need to get ready for a fight. I thought it was a natural state. Don't let Rumpelstiltskin get you down, luvs."

"What do you want?"

"To give you something. You know, Baelfire and I once spent a lot of time together."

"He was always "Neal" to me," Emma said.

"Yeah. Right." He unlocked a chest and took out a sword, which he held out to Emma. "This was his."

"I didn't realize you were sentimental."

"I'm not. I just thought you could use it where we're going. You know... To fight."

Hook gave Emma and Nevaeh a shot glass, uncorked his flask with his teeth, and spit the cork out. He poured Emma and Nevaeh a drink.

"Thanks," Emma and Nevaeh replied.

"To Neal," Hook toasted.

"To Neal." They clinked glasses and drank.

THE ENCHANTED FOREST

Neal laid on a flowered bed as Mulan approached.

He inhaled and exhaled sharply.

"Who are you?" Mulan demanded.

"Neal," he replied.

Footsteps approached and Aurora asked, "Is he well?"

"Well enough to be questioned," Mulan replied.

"Here. Drink. Drink. You must be thirsty." She handed him a cup.

"Where am I?" Neal questioned.

"You're in our kingdom."

"Where's your... where's your kingdom?"

"The Enchanted Forest," Phillip informed.

"I'm back," Neal whispered.

"Back?" Aurora repeated. "You mean you're from here?"

"He's lying," Mulan said. "Look at his clothes. He's from the same world Emma, Nevaeh and Snow are from."

"Emma? Nevaeh? Emma Swan? Nevaeh Hatter? You know them?" Neal inquired.

"How do you know them?"

"They're, Emma's..." His voice strained. "She's my... I... I don't know. But they're in danger. I have to get back to them. Oh! I have to help them!"

"You need to rest," Phillip told him. "You were gravely injured when found you. Were you hit by some kind of arrow?"

".45 caliber arrow. Look, I... I need your help. I need to know that Emma, Henry, Grace and Nevaeh are right."

"You're... You're Henry's father?" Aurora realized. "I was once under a sleeping curse. Snow taught me how to control the nightmare. And with practice, I'm able to walk the dream world, find others like me who have passed through. It's possible I can make contact with them. If I can, what would you like me to tell them?"

"Tell Emma I'm alive, and I love her."

JOLLY ROGER

Emma and Nevaeh sat with Hook in the crew's quarters.

"How long was he with you two?" Emma asked.

"Long enough for me to know that I miss him, too," Hook replied.

The ship creaked and banged and a loud thump shook the ship.

"What was that?" Emma wondered.

Waves splashed and the wind gusted.

"What the hell are you two doing?!" Regina demanded.

"Trying to keep it steady!" Mary Margaret yelled.

"Hold on!" David called.

"Prepare for attack!" Hook told them.

"Be more specific," Regina said.

"If you've got a weapon, then grab it!" Hook and Jefferson yelled.

Hook grunted as he fought for control of the wheel and there was a screeching in the distance. Nevaeh rushed to help him and nearly toppled into him.

"What's out there?" Emma asked. "A shark?! A whale?!"

"A kraken?" David added.

"Worse," Hook replied as the screeching sounded underwater. "Mermaids."

The screeching grew louder.

"Mermaids?!" Emma repeated as the screeching continued.

Hook nodded. "Yes, and they're quite unpleasant."

"You think?" Regina shot back.

"I'll try and outrun them."

"How many of them are out there?!" Emma wondered.

"I will not be capsized by fish!" David yelled as he loaded a cannon.

"Emma!" Mary Margaret called as the cannon fuse fizzled.

"What are you doing?!" Emma cried.

"Fishing."

Mary Margaret and Emma lifted a heavy net overboard.

The cannon fired and a mermaid swam into the net.

"We caught one!" Mary Margaret told the others.

"One?" Regina repeated. "There are dozens of them."

After a moment, Regina added, "Enough of this."

Regina threw three fireballs into the water. Mermaids screeched and swam away.

"There," Regina said. "They're gone."

"Not all of them! What about that one?!" Mary Margaret pointed out.

Regina used magic to transport the mermaid on deck.

NEVERLAND'S ISLAND

Henry and Grace were hiding in the forest with the hooded boy.

"Where'd they go?" a lost boy asked.

After awhile, the hooded boy said, "I think we lost them."

Henry panted. "Okay. Can we rest for a minute?"

The hooded boy nodded. "You're both new. Did the shadow take you, too?"

"No. She and I were kidnapped by some people who work for Pan."

The hooded boy let out a sharp breath. "I'm sorry. If he sent for you two, he wants you. And if Pan wants you, he will get you."

Howling sounded in the distance.

"Why does Pan want you?" Grace asked.

"Pixie dust," the hooded boy said. "I stole it from him 'cause I thought I could use it to fly away and go home. But it doesn't work. It's useless."

"Don't worry. Our families are coming to rescue us, and you could come with us."

"You really think you're the first boy and girl to believe that their families are actually coming for them?"

"My family's different," Henry said. "So is hers. We always find each other."

"You better hope they don't, or else Pan will rip their shadows into oblivion."

"It's gonna be okay. I promise. Don't lose hope. All we need is time. Is there a place where we can hide from the lost boys?"

The hooded boy sighed. "There's a place they can't track us. The echo caves. But it's far."

The leaves rustled and Henry said, "Then what are we waiting for? Lead the way."

ENCHANTED FOREST

Phillip watched Aurora as she slept. Neal and Mulan sat a distance away.

"Feeling better?" Mulan asked.

"Yeah," Neal replied.

"How did you get here?"

"I fell through a portal. I thought... I thought I was gonna die, and... and I thought about this place. I thought about growing up here. That's how portals work. They take you to wherever you think of."

"Well, what's it like, the other world?"

"Uh, well, for starters, they think that this place is just a fairy tale. Like a... like a legend, like we're all just characters in a story."

"I'm in a story?"

"Yeah. They made a movie about you. It's actually pretty good."

"What's a movie?"

"Uh..."

Aurora cried and woke up. "It's worse than I feared. I couldn't make contact. I wish I could be more help. I... I fear no one can."

"My father can," Neal told her. "He always had a plan. Uh, he would've left something behind, if he ever found himself back here. Something that can be used to contact Emma or Jackie, to get to them. I know it. I just need to get to his castle."

"Who's your father?" Phillip asked.

"Rumpelstiltskin."

NEVERLAND'S ISLAND

Mr. Gold walked through the forest and found Tamara lying on the ground with an arrow in her back.

Tamara gasped and grunted as she dragged herself along the ground.

"So where are they?" Mr. Gold asked. "Henry and Aubree." His voice dropped to a whisper. "There, there. I can help you speak."

Mr. Gold used magic and removed the arrow and healed Tamara's wound.

"Thank you," Tamara replied.

"Where's Henry and Grace?" Mr. Gold asked. "They killed them?"

"I don't think so. I told them to run, and they did."

"Where?"

"The jungle. Pan wants them. He's behind all this. Look, Mr. Gold, I didn't know who I was working for. I'm sorry about Neal. I'm so sorry."

"I know. You were merely a pawn."

"Can... Can you forgive me?" Tamara whispered.

"No." He ripped Tamara's heart out and crushed it.

JOLLY ROGER

The group examined the mermaid they'd caught.

"Get that thing off my ship!" Hook demanded.

"No," Regina said. "Now we have a hostage."

"I hate to say it, but I'm with Hook," David said. "Those things just tried to kill us."

"And perhaps we should find out why."

Mary Margaret frowned. "How? By torturing her?"

"Well, if need be. Sure."

The mermaid grabbed a conch shell and blew into it like a horn.

"What the hell is that?" Emma and Jefferson asked.

"A warning," the mermaid replied as thunder clapped. "Let me go... Or die."

ENCHANTED FOREST

"Can I ask you a question?" Mulan asked.

"Yeah, I don't know how to explain what a movie is," Neal replied.

"You say that you're fighting for Emma. But she never mentioned you when she was here. Why is that?"

"Because I broke her heart. I let her go so that she could break the curse and fulfill her destiny. And when it was broken, I could've gone after her. I could've told her I loved her." He sighed. "But... I was afraid she would never forgive me, so I wound up taking the easy way out, which is not trying."

"Your belief in love wasn't strong enough to overcome your fear of rejection."

"Yeah. Greatest regret of my life, not one I wish upon anyone."

NEVERLAND'S ISLAND

"They're close," Henry said. "She and I can see them."

"We're almost to the caves," the hooded boy told them. "Come on. Follow me."

An arrow whooshed past them.

Henry took a moment to look around. "They cut us off. They knew about the caves. We have to go this way." They ran in another direction.

JOLLY ROGER

"What is this?" David asked. "What did you do?!"

"Let me go," the mermaid ordered.

"Not until you tell us," Regina said. "Or we make you tell us."

Mary Margaret frowned. "Threatening her on't the way to motivate her."

"Well, I'm all out of fish food."

"Doesn't matter if you get her to talk," Hook said. "You can't trust her. Mermaids are liars."

"Of course they are," Emma muttered.

"Maybe they're just scared of Pan," Mary Margaret guessed. "If we let her go, maybe they'll be on our side."

"Or maybe she and her friends will come right back to kill us," Regina shot back.

The mermaid glared. "Oh, I don't need my friends to kill you. You'll kill yourselves. Now let me go."

Thunder clapped and David and h
Jefferson cried, "What the hell?!"

"It's a storm," Hook told them. "She called it. Don't let her go! She'll swim off and leave us all to die. At least with her, we've got leverage."

David pulled out a blade and threatened the mermaid. "Stop the storm. Then we let you go."

The mermaid shook her head and David threatened to slit her throat.

Regina laughed, "That's more like it, Charming. Filet the bitch."

The mermaid gasped and whimpered.

David released her and stepped away. "No. We're not barbarians."

Thunder clapped again and Emma said, "What we're going to be is dead."

"Hold on!" Hook yelled. "I'm gonna turn her around. I've outrun many a storm. Jefferson, an assistance please."

"Make it stop or die," Regina demanded.

"We are not killers!" Mary Margaret yelled.

"Yes, you are," the mermaid corrected. "And you've brought this death upon yourselves."

"This is why we should free her!"

Regina turned to her. "That feel-good nonsense, Snow, might play in the Enchanted Forest, but this... this is Neverland."

Thunder clapped yet again.

"Keep your grip, pirate, Hatter!" David yelled.

"It wasn't us, mate!" Hook replied. "It was the ship! We're taking on water!"

"Now may I resume killing her?!" Regina asked.

"No!" Mary Margaret and David cried.

"You kill her, and her kind have a personal vendetta against us," Mary Margaret said.

"Look, the queen is right," Nevaeh pointed out. "They've already tried killing us."

"Stop!" Emma cried. "That's enough! We need to think this through!"

"I already have." Regina turned the mermaid to wood. "There. That should stop the storm."

"Regina! What did you do?!"

A tidal wave loomed over the Jolly Roger and Regina's eyes widened. "No."

"What have you done?!"

The Jolly Roger climbed the side of the waves as water poured over the deck.

ENCHANTED FOREST - RUMPELSTILTSKIN'S CASTLE

The doors creaked and Mulan looked around. "It appears abandoned."

Neal picked up a glass from a small table and dipped one finger in it to taste the contents. "No. Someone's here."

An arrow whooshed and Neal cried, "Whoa!"

Mulan drew her blade and Robin Hood said, "That was a warning, milady. Chivalry and all that."

"Who are you?" Mulan asked.

"The name's Robin Hood."

"No way," Neal breathed. "Robin Hood."

"I'd bow, but this quiver's rather tight. Now... What are you doing trespassing in my castle?"

"This castle belongs to The Dark One," Mulan said. "It is you who trespasses."

"He hasn't been seen since the Queen's curse. If he ever shows up, I'll be happy to vacate."

Neal shook his head. "No, no need. In fact, you can have it. I just... I need to look around for a bit."

Robin Hood frowned. "And who would you be to grant such title?"

"In this land, I'm known as Baelfire. I'm his son."

Robin Hood exhaled and chuckled. "My apologies. Go ahead."

"You don't want to see ID?"

"Who would claim to be that who wasn't?"

"Yeah. Good point."

"Your father would not stand for imposters. He had quite a temper."

"You knew my father?"

"We crossed paths once, yes."

"Most crossings with my father don't end well."

"It was touch and go. He spared my life. I owe him a debt."

"Well, I'm happy to collect. I'm looking for something he left here. A magical item."

"Well, I'm very sorry to disappoint, but I arrived shortly after the curse. The place was cleaned out. Nothing of any value remains."

"Well, thieves and looters would only take what they could see."

"What's magical of a knotted old cane?" Mulan asked. "It probably belonged to one of the looters."

"No, it belonged to him. See these markings? He was keeping track of me growing." Neal twirled the cane again, which caused a cabinet door to magically appear high on the wall.

"I've handled that walking stick a dozen times. It never released a cloaking spell before."

"My father enchanted objects so that what might a useless piece of wood in the hands of a looter would become magical in his.

"Or in the hands of his only son," Mulan realized.

Neal nodded. "He called it blood magic. Might not always seem like it, but family was important to dear old dad."

"So... What's in there?" Robin Hood asked.

"Let's find out."

JOLLY ROGER

As waves crashed and thunder clapped, Emma said, "I thought you said you could outrun a storm!"

"This isn't a storm. It's bloody damnation!" Hook replied.

The wind howled as Mary Margaret turned to Regina and asked, "Why would you do this?"

Regina frowned. "You're going to blame me?"

"You turned the mermaid into wood!"

"I did something about it, which is more than what you can say!"

"Undo your spell!" Thunder clapped. "Bring back the mermaid!"

"And what, you'll win her over with your rainbow kisses and unicorn stickers?!"

"Considering that your plan failed, at least we could try!"

"You're such a naïve princess!"

"And you are such a..." She slapped Regina as thunder clapped again.

"Huh. Is that your best?"

"Not even close! I am so tired of you ruining my life!"

"I ruined your life?"

"Hey!" David and Jefferson called.

Lightning struck the ship as Regina punched Mary Margaret.

"Aah!" Mary Margaret cried.

"Hey, let the slags go," Hook said. "Jefferson and I need you at the mast."

"Aah!" Regina yelled.

"Don't call my wife a slag!" David shot back as he was hit. "Uhh!"

Hook and David began fighting.

Emma and Nevaeh looked between the group fighting and realization dawned on them. "Stop it! It's not the mermaid. It's us!"

Lightning hit the ship as the fight continued.

"No. If you don't stop fighting, we're all gonna die!" Emma told them. "Don't you see we're causing the storm?! Hey! Stop! You need to listen to me and Nevaeh!"

No one paid attention to Emma and Nevaeh, so Nevaeh pushed Emma to the side and dove off the side of the boat.

"Nevaeh!" David and Jefferson called.

"Nevaeh!" Mary Margaret yelled. "Nevaeh! Oh!"

A top snapped and a metal pulley landed in the water, striking Nevaeh.

NEVERLAND'S ISLAND

Henry, Grace and the hooded boy were still running through the forest.

The lost boys shouted in the distance.

"Watch out!" Henry and Grace cried.

They skidded to a stop before a giant canyon.

"They're over here!" a boy yelled.

"What do we do?" Henry wondered. "Is there any other way to the echo caves?"

"No," the hooded boy replied. "We're done for. I'll give 'em the pixie dust. Maybe they'll let us live."

"You wanna give up?"

"We don't have a choice. They got us. The is the end."

"No. It's our way out."

Henry yanked the pixie dust off the hooded boy's neck and pulled them all back from the ledge.

"What... what are you doing?" the hooded boy asked.

"Getting a running start," Henry replied.

"For what?"

"Everyone knows pixie dust is for flying."

"Don't you remember? The dust doesn't work."

"That's because you have to believe."

"I definitely do not believe."

"That's okay..." Henry began as he opened the vial of pixie dust. "Because she and I do."

Grace smiled and nodded as she took Henry's hand.

They jumped off the cliff as the pixie dust glowed green and they flew to the other side.

JOLLY ROGER

"Nevaeh!" Mary Margaret and Emma called.

"Idiot!" Regina yelled.

"Regina, get her up here!" Mary Margaret said.

"I... I... I can't! Not in this storm. I... I can't even see her. I'll just bring up water and half her leg."

Jefferson climbed up the rail and prepared to dive in after Nevaeh.

"Wait!" Hook called.

"She'll drown!" Jefferson shot back.

"And so will you! Let me and David help."

Hook and David passed Mary Margaret, Emma and Regina a rope. "Here, tie him."

Jefferson slipped the loop over his head to his waist, dove in, found Nevaeh, grabbed her, and surfaced.

"He has her!" Hook told them. "Pull!"

"Aah!" Mary Margaret groaned.

"I've got it," Hook and David said, putting the rope into a pulley and hauled Jefferson and Nevaeh on deck.

"Nevaeh?" Mary Margaret and Emma called.

"No," Mary Margaret whispered.

Jefferson stared at Nevaeh's unmoving figure sadly. He tenderly stroked her cheek as his head dropped.

Nevaeh spit and coughed up seawater. She looked up at the moon coming through the clearing clouds. "Emma and I told you."

Jefferson hugged her tightly, then pressed a gentle, slightly rough kiss to her lips.

NEVERLAND'S ISLAND

"Come out and say hello, dearie," Mr. Gold called.

The foliage rustled and Felix said, "Hello, Rumpelstiltskin. Pan welcomes you to the island. He wanted me to tell you he is excited to see you again."

"Oh, yeah. I'm sure he is."

"He wanted me to let you know you're welcome in Neverland, for as long as you wish to stay... With two caveats."

"There's always something with him."

"If you're here for the boy and the girl... Well... That makes you Pan's enemy."

"Then nothing's changed."

"If you go against him, you will not survive."

Mr. Gold chuckled. "Well, the question isn't, will I survive? Because we both know I won't. No, no. The real question is... How many of you I take with me."

"So is that your answer?"

"That's my answer."

"Well, then, I suppose that means I'll see you again, in less friendly circumstances."

"Count on it."

"One last thing. There's something he wanted you to have." Felix threw a straw doll and Mr. Gold's feet and Mr. Gold's face crumpled as he bent to pick it up. "Isn't it funny... The things we haven't thought about in years still have the ability to make us cry?" He chuckled as Mr. Gold cried softly. "See you around... Dark One."

Felix walked away and Mr. Gold sobbed.

ENCHANTED FOREST - RUMPELSTILTSKIN'S CASTLE

"I spent my entire life running from magic," Neal said. "Now it's the only thing that can help me. It's not working. Why isn't it working?"

"Don't think of a place. Think of her, of Emma, and more than that, how you feel about her."

The crystal ball glowed purple and showed Emma in a jungle.

Neal gasped. "Oh, no. It can't be."

"What's wrong?" Robin Hood asked. "Isn't she there?"

"Yes, but that's not Storybrooke. Emma's in Neverland."

NEVERLAND'S ISLAND - BEACH

"We don't have to do it this way," Regina said. "I can fix the Jolly Roger. My magic is powerful enough. We can execute the pirate's plan."

"Sneak attack?" Emma said with a frown. "Let's not be naïve. Save your magic. We'll need it later, because Pan already knows we're here. It's time we stop running. Gold was right. This land is run on belief. All of us have been too busy being at each other's throats to be believers. I was as wrong as anyone else. It's time for all of us to believe... not in magic, but in each other."

"You wanna be friends? After everything that's happened between all of us?"

"I don't want or expect that."

Nevaeh nodded. "Emma and I know there's a lot of history here and a lot of hate."

"Actually, I quite fancy you from time to time, when you're not yelling at me," Hook commented, smiling at Emma.

Emma frowned at him. "We don't need to be friends. What we need to know s the only way to get Henry and Grace back is cooperation."

David gestured to Regina and Hook. "With her? With him? No, Emma, we have to do this the right way."

"No, we don't. We just need to succeed. And the way we do that s by just being who we are... a hero, a villain, a madman, a redeemed queen, a pirate. It doesn't matter which, because we're gonna need all those skills, whether we can stomach them or not."

Regina narrowed her eyes. "And what's your skill "savior"?"

"I'm a mother, and now I'm also your leader. So either help me get my son and his friend back or get out of the way."

Emma drew her sword and walked into the forest. Her parents followed and Hook, Jefferson and Nevaeh shrugged at Regina before they followed.

NEVERLAND'S ISLAND

Henry, Grace and the hooded boy flew over the trees and landed in a clear area and grunted.

"See? If you believe, anything is possible," Henry said.

"Belief, even in the smallest amount, can lead to big things," Grace told the hooded boy.

The hooded boy smiled. "You couldn't be more right, Henry, Grace."

Henry frowned. "How... how'd you know our names? We never told you."

"Let's make it a game, a puzzle to solve," the hooded boy told them.

Grace narrowed her eyes. "You lied to us. You are a lost boy. You work for Pan."

"Not exactly. I am Peter Pan."

Henry frowned. "But you told Greg and Tamara that magic was bad, and that you'd help them destroy it. Why?"

"Because I needed their help. And it is so much easer to get people to hate something than to believe."

"Why did you bring us here?"

"For quite some time, I've sought something extremely important, something more elusive than the greatest of all mysteries."

"What?"

"The heart of the truest believer And the bearer of a kind soul. And when you took that pixie dust, Henry, and you jumped off that cliff..." Pan knocked on a tree and signaled the lost boys to come  out. "You proved yourself. You're the lucky owner of that very special heart. Grace is the very owner of that kind soul, going out of her way to help a stranger. And now? You two... and them... are mine." Pan drew his knife. "Come on, boys! Let's play!"
