The next day I woke up feeling happy. The night before I spoke to my brother and I also told Jake everything that’s been going on...well most of it.
I told him about how saw Spencer with Ms. Simmons, and of course his insensitive male mind was happy for Spence. I told him that Spence and I were getting along really well till he lied about seeing Ms. Simmons and when he found out about us getting drunk and hooking up. Then I told him how overprotective Spencer has been, and I even told him that Spencer didn't really like him, which didn't surprise him. I also told him that Spencer kind of almost kissed me and ever since then he's been really weird.
Of course Jake immediately thought the most irrational impossible thing of all time...that Spencer had a thing for me, which make sense at all so I completely ignored the idea totally...well at least I tried to.
But overall it felt good not hiding this from him, and especially letting it all out felt like a weight was removed from my shoulders.
Before I went to school mom left a note on the counter saying that she should be home pretty late and not to wait up...great. I was not in the mood for some awkward quality time with Spencer.
"I have the perfect solution for your problem." Jake said when I got into his car.
"And that is?" I asked curiously.
"To just try to get over all this bullshit with Spencer. Its senior year Babe, the year to have fun not stress." He said as he drove away from the curb.
"It's not that easy." I said.
"Yes it is, and I'm going to help you." He said with a smile as he focused on the road in front of him.
"Oh God, this can't be good." I said as Jake parked his car in the school parking lot.
"Babe have I ever let you down before?" He asked as he turn the car off and looked at me with his beautiful blue eyes.
"No." I said with a small smile.
"So just trust me." He said and I just nodded.
I was incredibly reluctant to walk to first period when I heard the bell, but I knew I had to.
The bell rang 5 seconds after I got into my seat, thankfully Spencer was late and I didn't have to face the short but awkward walk from the front door to my desk.
"Hey Lainey." Rob said.
"Hey Rob." I said with a smile.
"A bunch of us are going to get pizza after school I told Jake to ask you but I think he forgot." He said with a nervous smile.
"Sure, sounds fun."
"Mr. Moore, Ms. Price the bell has rung, and even if I'm not here the class is silent." Spencer said as he walked into the door.
I looked up at him to see that he glanced at me for a second, and in that second I could see a bunch of emotions filling his eyes.
"Sorry Mr. King." Rob said when I remained quiet.
After that he didn't look at me for the rest of the class, not that I wasn't expecting he would.
"Alright class make sure you study for the quiz tomorrow!" He said as the bell rang and everyone began to gather there things and leave including myself.
Thankfully the quiz was on what Spencer tutored me on before and I didn't have to endure another tutoring session today.
At lunch I sat in my usual seat with Jake and everyone but Rob sat across me which was unusual.
"So Lainey Rob tells me that you'll be coming with us after school." Jake said.
"Yup." I said with a smile.
"Now that I was sitting across from Rob I examined his features better, and he was hot.
He had short brown curly hair that was placed perfectly on his head, light tan skin, hazel eyes, and a pretty hot body.
"So Lainey do you know that Rob has a dirt bike and lies to ride it when he goes to his country house." He said.
"Really? That’s cool. My brother and I use to ride when we were younger." I said.
"Wow, never met a girl that actually liked to ride." He said surprised.
"Yeah, I'm pretty unique." I said with a smirk.
"Maybe we can ride together some time." He said nervously.
"Yeah that would be great. But I'm pretty good so I don't know if you want to go up against my mad skills." I said playfully.
"I think I can handle you." He said with a smirk.
"We'll just have to wait and see." I said.
I talked to Rob for a while he was really funny and he made me laugh.
I was totally unaware of the pair of eyes on me until Jake nudged me under the table and I looked around to see Spencer at the other end of the cafe glaring in my direction as he paid for his lunch.
I just ignored him and went back to my conversation with Rob.
After lunch classes went by pretty quickly. I also didn't see Spencer for the rest of the day.
After the last bell rang I met Jake outside and as we drove to meet everyone at the pizza place I texted Spencer telling him I wouldn't be home for dinner, he didn't reply back.
We all met up and sat at a table talking and laughing about embarrassing moments, stupid mistakes and funny memories.
"Remember when Lainey was so drunk at a john’s party she started dancing on John’s kitchen table wearing a sombrero." Matt said.
"Oh my God I can't believe you remember that! I was putting on a show." I said as I laughed along with everyone else.
"Please Jake you're the last person that should be laughing Mr. I went streaking in the middle of winter." I said.
"It was a dare!" He said.
Sitting here reminiscing really put me in a great mood. It reminded me of a time where I was just young and having fun, now things are just so complicated.
After we all finished eating and were about to leave I went to throw out some of the garbage left on the table.
As I was walking to the trash can I could hear someone walking up behind me.
"Hey Lainey can we talk?" Rob asked.
"Sure, what's up?" I asked after I threw the garbage out.
"Well I know you’re going to homecoming with Jake but I was wondering maybe you'll save me a dance?" He asked nervously.
"Of course." I said with a smile, and I could see him releasing all his nervousness.
"Cool well see you tomorrow." He said with a smirk and then walked away.
"What was that about?” Jake asked when I got into his car.
“Well he asked me to save him a dance at homecoming.” I said with a smirk.
“Just one dance I hope?” He said with a smirk as he focused on the road.
“Yup only one, don’t worry.” I said happily.
As he pulled up to the front of my house I reluctantly got out of the car and went inside.
“Hello? I’m home.” I said as I walked inside, but there was no response.
“Alright.” I said lowly to myself.
I lie down on the couch and put on The Notebook.
I must have fallen asleep on the couch because I woke up to the sound of the jiggling of the doorknob. Whoever was on the other side seemed like they were having trouble? I looked over to the TV to see that it was 11 o’clock and I wasn’t even sure if my mother was home or not.
I quietly got up to look through the front window to see Spencer outside.
I quickly walked over to the door and opened it. Spencer standing outside wobbling.
“Oh my God Spence.” I said as I tried to help him stand up and move into the house.
“Are you drunk?” I asked as I smelled the alcohol all over him.
“Nopeeeee.” He said laughing.
“You’re so pretty Laineyyyyyy” he said loudly.
“Shushhhh!” I said as I did my best to guide him over to the couch.
He had his arm around my neck, and I wrapped my hand around his back. But he was wobbling and leaning his weight on me and it was difficult to get him to the couch, and when I finally did I could barely breathe.
I checked my texts to see if my mom texted me or not. She sent me a text saying that she should be home at 1, because there is a lot of traffic. I silently thanked the Gods of traffic and then turned my attention back to Spencer.
Spencer was staring at me with such interest and it was making me feel just a little bit uncomfortable.
“Spence I’m going to get you some coffee just stay here.” I said but as I got up I felt a grip around my forearm.
“Don’t go…” He said.
“I’ll be right back, I promise.” I said and then when he finally let go I went into a kitchen and made him a cup of coffee, and got him 2 slices of bread.
“Here Spence drink this.” I said as I helped him take sips of the coffee.
“You’ll be the death of me.” He said lowly.
“What do you mean?” I asked trying to take advantage of his drunkenness.
“You’re so booty-fullllllll.” He said attempting to gently caress my face, but he didn’t do it too gently.
“We should probably get you upstairs before my mom comes.” I said and as I got up I tried to pull him up from the couch which wasn’t easy at all, but he finally let me push him up.
Getting him up the stairs had to be the hardest part. He wouldn’t go, he would just stop every few steps to look at me and tell me I’m Purtyyy.
When I finally got him into his room and laid him on the bed I took out a pair of pajamas for Spencer.
I was a little uncomfortable trying to pull off his pants, and I did my best not to look but there wasn’t must to see since he was wearing a plaid pair of boxers.
As I tried to pull his pajama pants up as he lay down on the bed my hand ran up his strong legs which sent shivers throughout my body. I lifted up his shirt over his head and it revealed his beautifully sculpted body, and pulled plain white shirt over his head.
After he was finally fully dressed I put him under the covers and began to leave.
“No, don’t…” He said as he held on to my arm.
“I have to.” I said.
“I lied…I very drunkkkkk…you made me madddddddddddddddd.” He said
“It’s okay Spence…” I said.
“No it’s not. I lie to you a lot; you don’t deeee-serve it. You like boys….” He said, pouting his lip when he said the last part.
I couldn’t help but laugh at the way he was speaking, even if it didn’t make much sense.
“Yup I do…” I said.
“That makes me maddddddd.” He said stretching the word.
“Just go to bed Spence.” I said as I sat on his bed beside him waiting for him to fall asleep.
When he finally did fall asleep I went down stairs cleaned up the mess, and took out 2 Advil’s and a glass of water. I went up to his room and put the pills and the after on the nightstand, and then went back to sleep.

I woke up remembering everything that happened last night.
I couldn’t believe that I forgot to ask Spence about the almost kiss, but it was over now.
I walked into his room to see that his bed was empty.
When I went downstairs I saw 2 notes on the table.
‘Home late don’t forget to pick up A.J at the airport at 6:30- Mom’
And the other one was from Spencer.
‘Thanks for your help last night Lainey- Spence’
That was all he said, which clearly wasn’t enough for me. Last night I was tried and I wasn’t looking for answers I was just looking to get him upstairs and to bed. But now is the time for answers.
School went by pretty fast, because I was looking forward to seeing A.J. Again Spencer barely looked at me in class, and basically pretended that I didn’t exist. After everything I did last night you think he would give me a little more than a 7 word note.
When the bell finally rang I couldn’t wait to go home. The sooner I was home, the sooner I’d be picking up A.J.
I wasn’t even thinking about the awkward ride with Spencer, but that would change pretty soon.
“Make sure you come over when I text you! I’d rather not relive my child hood with Spencer and A.J again.” I said to Jake as I got out of the car.
“Don’t worry Babe, I’ll be there.” He said.
I was watching TV on the couch when Spencer finally came home. I didn’t even acknowledge the fact that he came inside.
“We’ll leave around 5:00. There might be a lot of traffic, especially around this time.” He said, and I just nodded.
When it was finally 5 I just followed Spencer outside and got in the car. The music was on and I just looked outside the window watching everything passing outside.
The silence was killing me.
I couldn’t believe we were sitting here not talking to each other when there was so many things to talk about…or at least I thought there was.
My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of my phone going off; it was a text from Rob.
‘Hey its Rob, I hope it’s ok that Jake gave me your number. - Rob’
I couldn’t help but smile when I read the text. Rob is so nice, I should spend more or my time on a guy like him then a guy like Spence.
‘Yeah of course its ok. - Lainey.’ I responded.
I heard Spencer let out a deep breath and I turned my attention back to him.
I could see his eye totally focused on the road, but as he drove he clenched the steering wheel so tightly I could see his hands turning red.
“What’s your problem?” I asked.
“Nothing.” He said.
“Stop lying.” I said.
“You think that you would just chill out with the boys like first you’re hooking up with Jake then you’re all over that Moore kid. Didn’t think that you were that type of girl Lainey.” He said without looking at me.
My jaw dropped at what he was implying.
I can’t believe that he would stoop so low like that.
“You’re joking right? Who the hell are you to judge me?” I asked in disbelief.
“Just saying the truth…” He said.
“You honestly are an asshole. You know it’s nothing like that, and what the hell I don’t need to explain myself to you.”
“Whatever Lainey.” He said.
We drove the rest of the way there in silence. I couldn’t even look at him so I just kept looking out the window.
When we finally got off the exit for the airport, I could feel the excitement running through me.
My brother was finally coming home. Of course he came home to visit for a few days here and there but he’s been so busy that he wasn’t able to come visit us over the summer, and this time he wasn’t only staying for a few days but for almost a month.
Spencer followed the signs and finally got to the spot that A.J was supposed to be in.
He parked the car in a parking lot and we walked inside to the baggage claim.
I already could see the back of A.J waiting for his bag. I was so happy I could cry. A.J was a pain in my ass most of the time but he was my brother and I was so glad to see him.
I quickly walked up to him, and as his back was still turned to me I took a leap and jumped right on his back.
“A.J!” I screamed as I clung to his back. People were staring but I didn’t care at all, I was too excited to notice anyone but my brother.
“Little sis!” He said as I hopped off his back. He turned to me and picked up in a big hug holding me tightly.
“Lainey you got so big!” He said as he held me.
“Hey man.” I heard Spencer say from behind me.
“Brooo!” A.J said as he gently let go of me and gave Spence one of those Boy fist pump hug things.
“Man have I got some things to tell you.” A.J said with a smirk.
“Of course when the minor isn’t here.” He said rubbing my head.
Here goes the little kid jokes, oh how I’ve missed them…..NOT.

“So how about we go and get some drinks tonight my treat.” A.J said as we were driving back home.
“Seriously A.J, you just got home and you’re going to go out tonight?” I said annoyed.
“Lainey come on it won’t be long, just gotta catch up with my friends.” He said, and I just rolled my eyes in response.
I could feel my blood boiling from my anger.
‘Rob do you want to come over my house and hang out with me and Jake?-Lainey.’ I texted Rob.
I wasn’t going to be home alone like a jerk while my brother and Spencer went out. I grew up and I’m not little lainey who needs to hang out with her brother and his friend all the time.
‘Sure, is 8ish okay?-Rob.’ He responded.
‘Yeah that’s fine. See you then.-Lainey.’ I answered back.
I had to listen to Spencer and A.J reminisce about their crazy times in colleges. What made it worse was that they barely finished their sentences because apparently whatever they were talking about was ‘Rated R’.
I couldn’t wait to get out of the car when they finally pulled up to the house.
I ran into the house at quickly as I could.
When I went inside I saw Jake sitting on the couch watching television.
“Made yourself at home?” I asked
“Yup, got here a little early so I decided to get comfortable.” He said and I just laughed.
A few seconds after I walk into the house A.J and Spence did.
“A.J you remember my friend Jake Mason.” I said with a smile.
“Jake Mason look at you looking less scrawny than the last time I saw you, working out?” A.J asked Jake as he gave him a fist pound.
I looked at Spencer who looked annoyed at the way A.J was talking to Jake.
“Yup.” Jake said with a smirk.
“I bet the girls like it…”
“They sure do.” Jake said with a grin.
“Yeah every girl but my sister kid…”
“Of course.” Jake said nervously, which made A.J and I laugh.
“A.J since you’re going out I invited my friend Rob to come over.” I said without looking at Spencer.
“Lainey if you think I’m leaving you alone with 2 boys you’re on crack.” A.J said.
“Oh I forgot that I was still 13 and afraid of the dark.” I said sarcastically.
“I don’t care if you’re 17 or 47, I’ll go out later tonight.” He said.
“Blah, blah, blah.” I said.
The bell rang and I went to open it to see Rob outside.
“Hey Rob, come in.” I said with a smile.
“This is my brother A.J, and you know Mr. King.” I said.
“Hey.” He said nervously.
“I don’t like you.” My brother said immediately.
“Don’t listen to him, he doesn’t like anyone.” I said and then grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the couch.
“Hey A.J remember when little Lainey used to follow us around wherever we went.” Spence said as he leaned on the wall by the steps.
“Yeah she was cute.” My brother said.
Oh God, Spencer was about to make me relive my child hood and I didn’t want that at all.
“Remember that time when she wanted us to hang out with her so we told her to get us ice-cream and she tripped on the skateboard and the ice cream fell all over her.” He said smiling.
“Oh yeah! That was hilarious.” A.J said.
It wasn’t funny at all. I remember it like it was yesterday. All I wanted to do was hang out with them and I honestly would have done anything for them to just let me hang out with them. They told me to get ice cream for them and then they would let me hang out with them. But as I was walking to give I to them I tripped on the ice cream and it fell all over me. A.J and Spencer were with 5 other people who all started laughing at me. After 5 minutes of laughing my brother helped me up and took me home.
All I wanted to do was cry. I looked over to Jake who looked sympathetic and angry, and Rob just looked uncomfortable.
“Can you guys just go?” I asked.

“Fine. We’re just going inside so if anyone of you goes near my sister your dead.” A.J said before he left.
I could feel Spencer burning a whole in my body but I refused to look at him. I wanted nothing to with him at all; I just wanted him out of my life.
“Sorry Rob they were supposed to leave.” I said.
“No its fine...” He said with a smile.
The rest of the night went by quickly. I lay down on the big couch, Rob sat on the floor up against the couch and Jake sat on the love seat.
We watched some scary movie that I had to watch case I was outnumbered.
But Jake said that he let me hold his hand which made me smile, but in the back of my mind I couldn’t help but think of when I watched the scary movie with Spencer. Even after all the horrible things he’s done I can’t get him out of my mind.
I held on to Robs hand tightly as I watched the girl go into the dark empty hallway.
“Don’t go in!” I cried.
As soon as I screamed I heard the door open from behind me which made me scream even louder, and hold on to Robs hand even tighter.
My mom came inside and then A.J and Spencer came in and turned the lights on.
I didn’t even notice that I was still holding Robs hand until I saw Spencer clenching his fist and glaring at my direction.
My mom of course hugged A.J and told him how much she missed him. Rob and Jake left after that since it was pretty late and it felt like a family moment.
I got up and hugged my mom. She held me with one arm and A.J with another.
“I have finally had all my babies.” She said.
“Spencer you better get over here right now!” she said. And he came behind me and wrapped his arms around us.
“Now I have all my babies.” She said.
All I wanted to do was break away from this family hug and get far away as possible from Spencer.
When I finally went upstairs to sleep, Spencer and A.J went out. I couldn’t get him out of my mind. All I could think about was what he was doing, and who was he doing it with. I don’t know why it bothered me so much, like I understood that I had a small crush on him but he was a jerk and I needed to get over him.
He was just all over the place and it confused me. One minute he’s nice, then he’s angry, then he’s an asshole, then he ignores me.
It’s a never ending roller coaster ride and all I want to do is get off.

hey guys, I knowI havent updated in a long time its just if you read my message I broadcasted you knew that I was very stressed out and just very busy. this was 10 pages on word so It should be pretty long,.
My keyboard isnt working to well I have to push extra hard on some keys so if you see any mistakes that spell check didnt get sorry. But soon Ill be getting a new laptop for my birthday and I reaally cant wait.
And the spacings are kind of messed up but whateverrrr.
Also katy Perrys Hot n cold really goes along with the chapter so im goin to put iit on the side.
