The day in Chara's house went so fast, it was 3 pm when I left because I needed to study, today is monday, and for my bad luck, I caught a cold so I couldn't go to school, I hated catching cold since I was a kid, I had the urge to punch someone in the face but I can't because I am too tired and can't move, and now I can't even go and see Chara, I am so worried about them..
~~3 days later...~~
I was finally healed and now I can go back to school, I was so excited and in hurry, I wanted to see Chara, it has been 4 days since the last time I saw them
I arrived school and everyone was greeting me as usual, I swear to god I said that I caught a cold almost 100 times that hour, I sight as I entered the class, Chara wasn't here 'they are probably still asleep' I smiled 'classic Chara' I sight, I am glad everything will be the same...I wish
The first lesson started and they are not here yet, I was getting worried but I told myself to not, they will be here at any moment
The second lesson started, the third, the fourth, the fifth, the sixth and the seventh, they didn't attend any of them, I quickly ran back home ignoring the students who tried to talk to me, I reached home and into my room, I grabbed my phone and called them, I paced back and forth in the room waiting for their answer, but they didn't, I called again, and they didn't answer, I sat on my bed and wrote them a message
Call me when you see the message, don't ignore it please
I sight and sent it, they are ok, they are ok, I kept telling myself that, I couldn't even study after this, I was all thinking about them, did they hurt themselves? Did their parents do something to them...can I go see them in their house? I sight 'three hours, I will give them three hours' I thought
I felt that my stomach was upside down and I lost my appetite, 'I will take a nap' I thought, I layed on the bed and covered myself with the blanket, I tried to sleep but I was thinking of what I heard the students saying, Chara didn't attend school for the past three days, I clutched into the blanket, shall I go and check on them now? Ignoring the three hours I gave them
Half an hour passed "ok I am done" I said, I got up and put on my shoes and run downstairs, I wanted to leave but I heard mom calling for me so I turned, she looked worried and nervouse "is something wrong?" I said as I walked over to her "you don't look ok"
She sighs "there is something I need to tell you", "can it wait more? I have something to do now" I said
"No dear, it waited for 17 years, now I am ready to tell you the truth" she guide me to the couch and we both sat "mom you are scaring me, what's it?" I said
She opened her mouth to speak but her phone ring interuptting her, she held it and I read the name, it was Olga, a nurse work with her, "wait a second" she as she answered the phone, my mom was a doctor, Olga was her favourite nurse, I didn't pay attention for what were they talking about but mom wasn't glad with it, she hang up and stand up "they need me in the hospital now, we will talk once I am back, ok?"
I nodded "alright mom, take care" she smiled and kissed my forehead then left the house
'I think she will be late, I can go check on Chara before she come back' I thought, I went out and headed to Chara's
I reached in few minutes and knock the door, I stared at the window waiting for a sign that they are inside, the house was dark, as if all the lights were off, I got worried and knock again, I kept knocking and calling for them to open but there was no sign, I tried to open the door and for my surprise, it wasn't locked, I gulped and entered, the lights were off
"Chara?" I called as I walked in, I looked for the light switch, I found it and turned it on, "Chara are you here?" I looked in the kitchen and it was empty, there was no sign of them, I went to their room, I knocked on the door "Chara?" But there was no answer, 'just a peek' I thought, I opened the door and looked inside, there was no any sign of them, but the room was so messy, I sight and shut the door behind me "where could they be?!"
I sat on the couch and sight, I noticed their cell phone on the coffee table, I held it and saw my calls and message, I throw it back and sight 'could they be in their parnets house?' I thought 'no they wouldn't leave their phone, and the door won't be open' , 'maybe if I waited, they will be back' I layed on the couch and sight 'I had to write a message to mom so she won't get worried' I looked for my phone in my pocket and I didn't find it, 'I left at home' I thought, 'stupid' I graoned and slmmed my face into the couch and I started to doze off...
I opened my eyes with fear 'shit! What time is it?!' I looked at the clock and it was 8 pm, 'my mom must be worried at me' I thought, I quickly went to get out but then I realized that Chara didn't come, no one did, I got extremly worried and decided to ask their family, they said that their family lived in the nearest house, I went out and knock their door
A man opened and he was surprised to see me, "who are you?" He asked, "I am Y/N, Chara's classmate, I was worried since they didn't attend to school for the last three days"
"They didn't?" Asked the man
"Yes, that's what I heard from other students because I didn't attend there for two days, but today they didn't come" I said
"Did you check on the other house?" He pointed at the house Chara lives in
"Yes sir, I checked and the door wasn't locked, and there was no one there, which got me worried"
He covered his mouth and I saw a hint of fear in his eyes "I will talk to their mom and we will see what to do" he said, "that's it? You are not calling the police?" I said
"Why would I?" He said, "wh- dude your kid was lost for three days! They didn't get in a fight in school so you will talk to their mom! Please tell me you are kidding!" I argued "I am here trying my best to not cry because they may be in danger! And you..."
"You don't know anything about Chara, you have no right to judge me" he said clearly mad that I talked back
"Oh yeah I do know more than you know about Chara! They even told me about their sitiuation if that was why you don't want to call the police, and you know what? You are a jerk"
"Where are your manners! You can't speak to an adult like that! Your mom didn't rise you well, I am so disappointed that my kid is a friend with someone like you"
"My mom taught me to do the right thing, unlike yours, what a cowrd, go cry to your wife that a demon is free ignoring the fact that they are your kid"
He looked clearly angry with me, and I believe he almost slapped me but I didn't care, I gave him one last look before heading away
I was on my way home, then I remembered a conversation I had with Chara ...
~~Flash Back~~
"What if I disappeared to make everyone safe?" They said
"I would look for you in every corner" I said
"Even if it was an abandoned mountain?"
"Of course"

Please tell me they were kidding when they said that! I turned back, mountain Ebott, my mother warned me from getting close to it, she said there is people stuck inside it and they will absorb your soul if they sensed you, thats what she was telling me when I was a kid, so it had to be just a kids story, right?
The mountain wasn't very far, if I took a taxi, I will be there in 15 minutes, now it's about 9...mom must be worried, I will just go check if they were there, and come back home, it wont take more than an hour, I sight and stopped a taxi
"To the mountain" I stated, the man was confuesed but he didn't question me, he drove us to the mountain, I realized that I forgot to bring money "hey umm...listen, wait for me to come back, then you will drive me back home then I will give you your money, and here I will give you my address if you were scared that I won't pay" he thought about it but he accepte my offer, I gave him my address and climbed the mountain
The mountain had a straigh way that surrounded the mountain, so it's easy to cilmb it, in few minutes I reached the top, there was no sign for Chara, I turned and I saw a cave 'of course, they will stay in a cave, like movies' I thought as I entered the cave, I hit something with my leg, I looked down and it was a chocolate bar, "Chara" I smiled and bent down to grab it "their favorite brand" I looked around but there was no sign of them, I was confuesed, the bar wasn't expired, and it wasn't covered with dust, so it was here for no longer than 3 days, and it's late now I don't think Chara would be roaming around ...
I heared a noise guiding me deeper in the cave, I followed like any stupid main character in horror movies, but this isn't a movie and a wierd creature isn't going to surprise me and eat my head, I snickered at the thought, it was getting darker and darker and I couldn't see a thing "Chara couldn't be here" I said
I heard a cracking noise, I screamed and shut my eyes...but nothing happened so I opened them again, I looked down and it was just a tree branch, I chuckled and picked it up "I am glad that nobody saw that" I throw it away and turned to leave, but I stopped after few steps 'I didn't hear the voice of the branch contacting with the ground' I thought
I turned to check and walked into where I throw it, I was taking careful and slow steps 'I don't even know why am I doing this!' I sight and continued my way forward, and the last step I took, I couldn't feel the ground beneath me, I lost my balance and fall, before I can processe, my head hit something and I blacked out ....
