Anuj looked at Devika. Did she say 'Anupama'? Of course! He heard it right! Devika's friend Anupama, the same girl he's been dreaming about!
Anuj: Ha, theek hai mai sir se aaj baat kar leta hu, iss class ke baad jaake. Jaha tak ki mai jaanta hu, sir mana nahi karenge, unhe toh khushi hogi ki ek aur member add ho raha hai, but still I'll ask him! Don't worry!
Devika: Thank you soo much Anuj!
Devika said this went headed back towards Anupama. Anuj's eyes trailed her until they reached Anupama. She was wearing a blue kurti. Anuj looked at her for a while and then smiled and started looking at the other side.

The moment the class was dismissed, Anuj ran outside to talk to the committee in-charge. Anupama looked at Anuj, she wondered what his urgency is that he ran out of the class. Then Devika started talking to Anupama while everyone else from the class exited the room. Both Devika and Anupama had decided to stay inside till their next class which was after 1 hour.
On the other hand, Anuj reached the cabin of the professor in-charge. The cabin was locked but from another professor he got to know that Professor Kamal, their committee in-charge, must be coming back to his cabin from his class. Anuj waited outside the faculty room for the professor.
After 20 minutes, Professor Kamal came back to the faculty room. He saw Anuj waiting outside.
Prof. Kamal: Anuj, tum yaha? What's the matter boy?
Anuj: Sir, woh, aapse baat karni thi..
Prof. Kamal: Ha bolo..
Anuj: Sir woh humare class me ek ladki hai, she wants to join the committee.
Prof. Kamal: Sorry beta, ask that girl to try next year.
Anuj: but why sir? Anyways we require more people on board..
Prof. Kamal: Beta the announcement was made yesterday, if she was really intrested she should've participated and vouched her name yesterday itself.
Anuj: Sir yesterday she was giving her name for the competition, due to which she wasn't able to come for the committee..
Prof. Kamal: Beta, these types of girls only join the committee for gossip and chit chat..
Anuj: Sir woh aisi nahi hai..trust me..
Prof. Kamal: Anuj..dekho beta..
Anuj: Sir aap usse ek mauka toh dijiye..please..agar mai galat sabit hua..toh..umm..toh aap mujhe bhi nikal dijiyega committee se..I will personally take her responsibility sir, please 🙏
Prof. Kamal: Anuj..theek hai beta, but remember your promise, okay?
Anuj: Ji sir..aapko complaint karne ka ek bhi mauka nahi milega sir, I promise!
Prof. Kamal: alright! Aaj ke meeting ke liye usse sath me le ana!
Anuj: Ji sir! Thank you soo much!
Anuj ran away from there after thanking the professor.
Prof. Kamal: ummm..lagta hai Anuj ko woh pasand hai! Isiliye toh usne apni membership ko dao pe lagake uss ladki ko team me shamil kar raha hai! Yeh bacche bhi na! Saare ek jaise hi hote hai iss age me!
Professor Kamal laughed and headed inside the faculty room.

Anuj was on his way back to the classroom when he saw Sanjay with a few new people.
Anuj: Sanjay, mera bag?
Sanjay: Anuj tera bag wahi class me pada hai! Jaa le aa!
Anuj: class me?!
Sanjay: Ha! Woh kya hai na, yeh log aaye aur mujhe invite kare toh mai tumhara bag wahi chodke aa gaya! Don't worry, class me do ladkiya hai abhi!
Anuj: (sarcastically) Oh! Thank you soo much Mr. Sanjay Ji! Abbe! Mera bag wahi chod aya! Tujhe toh baad me dekhunga!
Anuj left from there. He feared anyone reading his diary with all his shairis. He ran towards his class. Upon arriving, he saw that Anupama and Devika were the only people in the class.
Devika: Anuj! Baat hui?
Anuj: Ha! Ho gayi!
Anuj crossed Devika and Anupama and picked up his bag.
Devika: Kya bola sir ne?
Anuj: Mana kiya..
Devika: WHAT!! Kal toh khud keh rahe the ki "kitne kam bacche hai! Aur chahiye!" Aur ab hum aage se bol rahe hai ki join karna hai toh mana kar rahe hai woh!
Anupama: Devika, rehne de ne! Gussa mat kar! Shaant ho ja! Nahi le rahe toh rehne de!
Anuj: arre kaise?!
Anuj said it impropto. He then looked at Anupama, he felt very conscious at the moment. Devika broke the ice.
Devika: Exactly yaar! Anuj is right!
Anuj: Arre meri maa! Meri poori baat toh sunn le!
Devika: Accha! Bol toh!
Anuj: pehele woh mana kare, par phir, 10-15 minute persuasion aur minnate maagne ke baad woh maan gaye hai! So, welcome to the committee and team!
Anupama looked at Anuj is utter shock! She had not thought that the professor would ever agree to adding her to the committee.
Devika: Abbe you idiot! Agar Anu ko le liya tha team me toh pehele kyu nahi bataya?!
Anuj: bata raha tha! Par aap bolne de tab toh batata mai!
Devika: accha bacchu! Phirki le rahe the humari tum?
Anuj: bol sakte hai! Aur ha, iss se yaad aya, aaj 2-3 pm committee ki meeting hai 205 me, toh aa jaana time pe!
Devika: Ha sure! Don't worry!
Anupama: umm..Suniye..
Anuj looked at Anupama, she had just addressed Anuj as 'suniye' . She wanted to talk to him! He looked directly at Anupama.
Devika: Anu! What is this suniye and all? Uska naam bhi hai bhai!
Anupama: Devika, chup reh ne!
Devika: Anuj! Anuj hai uska naam! Ab usse tu Anuj karke bula!
Anupama: Devika! Choti si baat karni hai!
Devika: Nahi Anu! Tu jab tak isse Anuj nahi bulayegi, mai baat hi nahi karne dungi!
Anupama got frustrated at Devika behaving like a child. But Devika was also very stern at her point. She didn't let them speak. Finally Anupama gave up.
Anupama: Anuj..suniye ne..
Anuj: H..ha..boliye..
Devika: how wonderful! Thank you Anu! Ab tu baat kar sakti hai!
Anupama: Thank you ha Devika!
Devika: 🤭
Anupama: Anuj..woh aapko....
Anupama was about to speak when Sanjay came barging in.
Sanjay: Anuj! Jaldi aa!
Anuj turned around. He was angry but looked at Sanjay and was indeed shocked.
Anuj: Sanjay! Tu?!
Sanjay: Jaldi aa!!
Anuj: Sab theek toh hai na? Kya hua? Tu toh apne naye dosto ke sath tha na?!
Sanjay: Anuj! Jaldi chal mere sath mere bhai! Woh, woh ek ladka, unn dosto me se ek railing se latak raha hai! Woh gir gaya tha, par ab agar uska hath chuta toh woh neeche gir jayega! Jaldi aa!
Anuj: Sorry girls..
Anuj ran away with Sanjay. Hearing the situation, even Anupama and Devika ran with them. Before leaving, Anupama saw that Anuj had left his bag behind. She picked it up with her before leaving the class. They both were following Anuj and Anuj was following Sanjay. They all reached the place and saw that this guy was hanging on the second floor. He had his grip on the railing and was screaming for help. Many students had gathered there but none were able to help as of now. They all were thinking of a way to get that boy out of the situation. Anupama held onto Anuj's bag while Anuj went near the railing where he had his grip on.
