That day after everyone left the room, Anuj accompanied Anupama. Devika and Sanjay met them outside the class itself.
Devika: Hey guys! Maza aaya na?!
Anuj: Ha..I mean..umm..kuch zyada khas nahi tha, just ki teams ko re build kar diya sir ne..
Sanjay: I know yaar..nahi toh we both were on one team! Kitna maza aata!
Anuj: I know! But, mujhe meri nayi team bhi pasand hai..it's just ki bohot se log hai jo ki humare class ke nahi hai..in fact it's only me and Anupama jo ki humare class se hai.
Devika: I know....waise Anu, tujhe teri first meeting kaisi lagi?
Anupama: acchi thi..
Devika: Bas?
Anupama: Devika, aur kya chahti hai tu? Mai kya bolu? Bata!
Anuj: Exactly Devika! Atleast Anupama ko meeting acchi lagi, mujhe toh normal lagi!
Devika: Theek hai baba! Anuj tu protector mode on kyu kar baitha yaar?!
Anuj: Woh..aisa kuch nahi hai!
Sanjay: accha accha let it be! Chalo ab ghar chalte hai! Anuj drop kar de!
Anuj: Theek hai Sanjay, chal! Bye Devika! Bye..Anupama..kal milte hai phir..
Anupama: Ji zarur! Jai shree Krishn..
Anuj: Jai Shree Krishn🙏
Devika: Bye boys!
Anuj left with Sanjay and Devika took Anupama's hand in hers and they also started walking. Anupama saw Anuj and Sanjay head to the other gate and exited the college. Anupama was dragged by Devika to a corner.
Devika: Anu..tu theek hai na?
Anupama: Ha, kyu?
Devika: 'Kyu?' Isiliye kyuki tu baar baar Anuj ko dekh rahi hai..sab theek hai na?
Anupama: Ha Devika! Woh..aaj Anuj ne mere liye bohot kuch kiya ne meeting ke dauran..isiliye..
Devika: Bas? Isiliye?
Anupama: Ha bas! Aur kuch nahi!
Anupama brushed passed Devika and started heading towards the gate alone. Devika followed her quickly.

The other day morning, Anuj was sleeping and his mother, Damini had come to wake him up while GK woke Mukku, Anuj's sister Malvika, up.
Damini: Anuj! Anuj! Beta uth jao! College ke liye late ho jaoge!
Anuj: Nahi mumma..aaj nahi jaana!
Damini: Anuj! Mere lal aaj college ka teesra din hai beta! Chalo ab uth jao!
She caressed his forehead and Anuj turned around and kept his head on his mother's lap and stared sleeping. His mother kissed on his forehead.
Damini: Beta uth ja na! Tere Papa ne dekha ki tum aaj college nahi jaa rahe ho, toh unhe kitna bura lagega! Chalo mere lal, ab uth jao aur tayar ho jao!
Anuj:
Hay! Yeh subah kyu hai aai!
Pasand thi mujhe yeh tanhai!
Thode der aur soone do na meri maai,
Odh ke garam garam yeh rajai!
Damini: Anuj! Uth nahi sakta par shaiyari kar raha hai! Chalo ab utho!
Anuj rubbed his eyes and sat up on his bed. He looked soo sleepy that his mother was confused if he actually woke up or not! Anuj looked at the time and all of a sudden Anupama's face flashed in front of his eyes.
Anuj: Time!! Arre itna lage ho gaya! Mujhe jaldi se tayar hona hai! Bye mumma!!
Anuj stood up on his bed and in lighting speed went inside his bathroom. His mother was extremely confused as to what had happened to him all of a sudden! She smiled and cleaned his bed and went outside after hearing the sound of water splashing, she knew Anuj was bathing. She went down and quickly prepared the breakfast and called Mukku and Ajay, Anuj's father, and kept all the food on the dining table. Anuj called GK on top of his voice from his room.
Anuj: GK!! GK!! Jaldi aao na please ek minute ke liye! Aapki zarurat hai!!
GK ran towards Anuj's room. He wondered what the urgency might be!
GK: Ha bolo man! Kya baat hai?
He entered and the sight was one to laugh at. Anuj was standing there in his vest and a towel wrapped around his waist. He had 4 top wear in his hands and 4 pants in the other.
Anuj: GK, iss poore ghar me aapse behtar dressing sense kisika nahi hai, mom aur Mukku toh mujhe ladki bana de agar unka man chahe, aur papa ko toh suit aur kurta ke aage fashion nahi aata, par aap bataiye na, mai kisne best lagunga?
GK: Arre man! Tum kuch bhi pehenlo! Tum toh aise ho rahe ho jaise college nahi, ladki dekhne jaa rahe ho!
Anuj: (whispered to himself) Wahi toh karne jaa raha hu..
GK: Kya bola?
Anuj: ku..kuch nahi!
GK: Man, tum mujhe old zarur samajhte ho par mai abhi bhi young hu! Mere kaan itne kharab nahi!
Anuj: Ab GK aapse kya chupana..par abhi mumma ya papa ko mat batana..
GK: Mai sunn raha hu..
Anuj: GK, mujhe ek ladki pasand hai..I like her, mere class me hai woh..isiliye..
GK: Samajh gaya mai! Isiliye janab ko sajh dhaj ke jaana hai!
Anuj: Ha..
GK: Alright man! Toh yeh wala top pehenlo, aur yeh wala pant.
GK helped Anuj pick his clothes for the day. Anuj quickly went and changed into the selected clothes. He went down and quickly had his breakfast. He looked at the watch and realised that he is already late. He ran outside and his father followed him. He took Anuj with him in the car.

On the other hand, Anupama had woken up on time. She had bathed and currently was wearing a normal dress which she wore at home. She took out her option of clothing and started selecting one of them. Her mother Kanta came in.
Kanta: Anu..yeh kya kar rahi hai beta?
Anupama: Ma woh..aaj kya pehenu?
Kanta: kuch bhi pehen le! Tumhe kab se kapdo ki pad gayi hai?
Anupama: Ma aap jaanti nahi! Yaha ki saari ladkiya hai ne, sab kitne modern se hai! Sab kitne modern modern se kapde pehente hai, phir mai jis team me hu, usme toh sabse zyada yeh problem hai! Isiliye thoda dekh ke kapde chun rahi hu aaj ke liye..
Anupama's brother, Bhavesh also goes to the same college as her. Bhavesh is in another stream thus not much interaction happens of the two inside college.
Bhavesh: sirf wahi hai ki..
Anupama: ki kya?
Bhavesh: Ma, iss umar me ladkiyo ko bohot kuch hota hai! Uss me se koi baat toh nahi..
Anupama: Ma! Eh Bhavesh tu bhi ne!
Kanta: Bas bhi karo! Bechari ko kitna tang karoge?!
Anupama: Aur nahi toh kya! Bhai aap jao yaha se, Ma, aap batao ne, mai kya pehnu?
Kanta: tu kya kar..yeh narangi wala kurta pehen!
Anupama: Ho theek hai ma! Mai abhi aai!
Anupama got ready in her kurta and came out. She had her breakfast and then left for college with Bhavesh. Today Bhavesh had a longer day than Anupama. Earlier, they had had a pact that whenever possible they will wait for the other to come and then go home. Till now, Anupama usually came back home with Devika, but she told Bhavesh that today she'll wait for him and they both will return home together.
Upon reaching college, Bhavesh went off to his wing to attend his classes and Anupama met up with Devika and they both headed towards their class. Upon reaching the class, Anupama looked around for Anuj, he was nowhere to be seen.
