"So then I left because mfs had me blew and if I would've stayed any longer I just might have stole off his goof ass" I ranted to Kamora and Kai while eating some pineapples
"His ass.. ion know he can be cool sometimes but his attitude on a whole different level." Kamora said shaking her head
"That's what I'm saying how the fuck he gon blame you when he the one involved in all this." Kai added
"That's what I'm saying like his ass be blowing me wit that. Like make me not even wanna be around him." I said getting annoyed all over again
"What that mean?" Kai asked
"Right.." Kamora said raising her eyebrow

In the middle of our conversation my phone started vibrating from my back pocket and saw it was my dad.
"Hold on" I said getting up and walking outside
"Hello?.." I said awkwardly
"Hey Kianna. How you been?"
"I've been okay.. wassup though."
"What you mean wassup though?"
"I mean you didn't bother calling me no other time so what's the change of heart?" I asked
"Change of heart.. Kianna I was dealing with some personal stuff and I couldn't reach out. It's been a lot going on and I'm sorry for not reaching out"
"So you saying your own child getting shot isn't as important.. you haven't called or spoke to me since I saw you at the hospital.. I don't feel like having this conversations right now. Bye" I said hanging up
Like what did he expect.. he expected me to be forgiving or something? That weak ass apology and excuse I swear I can't stand niggas.

"So Kianna we finna go on our trip since y'all are back from the bahamasssss" Kai said when I walked back in
"We going to Miami right?" I asked

"Ok so everybody need to let me know when y'all getting y'all hair did, nails, outfits, and allat so I can book tickets."
"Well how long are you we staying?" I asked
"5 days, well we gon leave the morning of the fifth day."
"Well I lowkey could get my hair done tomorrow, and honestly I could get my nails did too." I said looking at my phone to see my schedule.
"How u getting ur hair?"
"Small Knotless but Knee length." I said going to my hairstylist's website to see if she was available.
She normally doesn't do squeeze ins but this month been kinda slow for her so she should let me get my hair did
"I know that getting braids would be the smarter, and more logical thing to do but I really want a wigggggg" Kai whined covering her face
"Then get a wigggggg Kai" Kamora said rolling her eyes
"But it's gon get messed up and end up lifting Kamoraaaaaa" she mocked
"Y'all irritating" I chuckled
"I'll just get some braids. Finna see the soonest I can" she said pulling her phone out of her back pocket.
"Ughhhhh a bitch is HUNGRY" Kamora shouted getting up and storming her way into the kitchen
"It ain't Shit to eat in here!! Why don't we ever got shit to eat bro our ass is on the verge of being homeless" she complained while me and Kai stayed in our phones
"Y'all not hungry??"
"Not really" we said in unison
"Hmmm .. Oouu y'all want quesadillas??!" She asked

"Yes Kamora I want a quesadilla." I sighed
"I jus said I wasn't hungry damn" Kai said still typing
"I don't like neither of y'all fr.. like I'm so serious I do not like y'all like what is up with the God damnn attitudes- Kamora shut the fuck up" I cut her off annoyed
"POINT PROVEN RIGHT THERE!" She yelled pointing at me
"I'm going to sleep." I said getting up walking to Kamora's room. I was tired of her and I was just tired in general.

At first it was silent, and then when I had realized what she said I spoke up nearly infuriated

"It's been a while.. well for you and Dae Dae. Alexis has seen him a couple of times over the years." She said nodding at her

"Ight Ma." I said dismissing the conversation cause I didn't even feel like hearing nothing she had to say bout allat forgiveness shit. Everybody don't need to be forgiven nor does everybody deserve it.
"Youn got to if u don't want to" Alexis shrugged
"I know." I said not in the mood to talk
"Well he's asked about you and stuff.. he really does wanna see you. What happened between y'all anyway?" She asked continuing to talk.
"nun" I said getting frustrated but I tried my best not to mug her cause I was in the process of fixing my attitude..
"Alexis did u get shot" Dae Dae asked out of the blue
"Oh.. yeah a few months back right here, here, and here" she said pointing over her thighs and legs.

"What happened" he asked. Normally ion like his nosy ass but he need to keep asking cause I wanna hear this.
"Got caught up in something, doing dumb stuff" she chuckled nervously looking at me
"Anyway Keon how Kianna been?" She asked tryna switch the subject. She think she slick but I caught on to that shit.
"This ha calling rn" I lied getting up going outside.
I was tired of being talked to. Just cause I'm here don't mean you gotta acknowledge me every change you get.
I decided to just leave, I didn't feel like going back in there
I needed to get back on good terms wit Kianna actually. I was tired of having petty arguments and shit and then we stop talking fa some time.
I got in the car and drove to this lil flower shop and bought her roses that were a mixture of light pink, pink, and red.
Them mfs was sexy asl Ian gon lie.
Then I drove to Walmart to get her a 'I'm Sorry' card and then a big ass teddy bear cause why not.
I bought the stop and brought it back to my car. Then I wrote her a lil letter inside of the card that said:
Dear Kianna
I sincerely wanna apologize ta you for being the way I am. I'm not just talking about this time, I'm apologizing again for all the other times I den fucked up wit u so I hope you can forgive me fa that. I don't think you understand how much I love you fa real.. it's like when I hurt you it hurts me emotionally and mentally and Youn deserve that shit I be saying or how I be treating you at times, so yeah I'm sorry. & you betta accept my apology cause yo li ass ain't goin nowhere. I love you ugly ♡

After I finished writing I slipped it in the envelope and closed it making sure it was sealed all the way.
I then taped it into the flowers and put the bouquet in the passengers seat. I pulled out the parking lot and began driving to her house.

About 13 minutes later I made it to her house and thankfully her car was parked outside meaning she was home.
I walked up to the door and unlocked it with my spare key.
I walked in and saw her coming down the stairs with a confused frown until she saw it was me and then her face softened.
"Hiiii" she said smiling looking at the flowers as I sat them down on the island
"Wassup" I said looking her up and down
"This all for me?" She asked smiling picking up the flowers
"Yeah" I said sighing
She then ripped the card off the flowers and opened it reading the letter I had wrote for her. I stood there nervously because I didn't know if she'd like it or not.
"Awnnn you gon make me cry" she pouted hugging me tightly
"U like it?" I asked hugging her back
"Yesss I love it, that was so sweeeet" she said and when I looked at her face her eyes began watering
"Man don't start allat crying" I said huffing
"No cause that was so heart warming" she said putting her hand across her chest
"Uggghh" I said laughing
"I love you toooo" she said laughing hugging me again
"I kno" I said smiling a little
"Well what have you been up to" she asked grabbing a vase from under the cabinet and some scissors out of the drawer
"Nun, oh and I gotta tell u. G Alex is a opp"
"Who is Alex?"

"Ohhh your sister? And I thought her name was Alexis" she said laughing
"Whoever she is, I don't trust ha ass foe" I said sitting down

"Cause look, first my og randomly talkin bout we should go visit my pops, just bullshitting so I'm lowkey ignoring ha. Then the hoe talkin bout she went to go visit him and that he asks about me.. why she just now saying she been visiting this nigga?"
"Well I'd be upset if Marie did that so that's understandable, but is that ur only reasoning?"

"ok.. talk" she said rolling her neck waiting
"why she got shot some months ago"
"What?" she said cocking her neck back frowning

"So what u think? I mean yeah it's a little odd she hasn't brought it up or said anything but I don't see where this is going" she shrugged

"Did the bullets look months old?"

"hm.. well Keon I really don't know." She said placing the flowers in the vase after cutting them and filling the vase halfway with lukewarm water
"What ever" I muttered tilting the bag in my mouth
"U hungry?" She asked opening the freezer showing a display full of groceries
"Yeah u got some shrimp"
"No but u do"
"IM JUS PLAYING!" She said before I could even react
"You're not funny" I said shaking my head
"Oouuu what about breakfast?" she suggested
"It's six o'clock .."
"Ion care" she shrugged getting pancake mix out the cabinet
"uhhh" I said as she pulled me up
"So you can make the pancakes, and I'll make the eggs and sausage"
"Why eat that sausage when u can eat mine" I said making a sad face
"Boy shut up" she laughed pushing me
"Why I gotta do the hard shit? All u gotta do is put the sausage in a skillet and them eggs gon take 2 minutes" I said squinting at her
"Cause I can't make pancakes to save my life, now stop complaining boy, get in the field" she said patting the back of my head
"Stop playin wit me Kianna" I said grabbing the milk out the refrigerator
"Mi no hablo engles!!" She shouted
"Stupid ass" I chuckled

"So guys I just made this wonderful 5 start dish meal and my boyfriend will be tasting it- why is u lying" I said squinting at her
She was recording us on the camera app as if she was ever gon even post this
"It's why are you and I'm not lying I did make this jiggbo" she said popping me on the side of my head
"Don't get folded" I warned waiting impatiently cause she wouldn't let me eat till she recorded
"Anyway guys that's all I wanted to show you, bye" she said stopping the video
"Let's feast!" She said in a English accent
"Finally" I muttered eating
"Eating like a jail bird" she mumbled laughing
"Bro shut yo ass up!!!!!!!!!" I said with my hand over my mouth cause it was full but she just continued laughing even harder
"No!!!!!!!!!!!" She struggled to say cause she continued laughing
"I'm done wit u" I said getting up going to sit on the couch
