"You're on pills?" he asked quietly. She nodded.
"why?"
"I just .. I was not sure if I was re-"
"No I mean why didn't you tell me?" he cut her off.
"I .. don't know" she looked down.
"You thought I was going to be mad?" he asked. She looked at him.
"I didn't know you much. I still don't. And I don't think it's the best time for us to have a child"
"I'm not mad. Or sad about you being on pills Hannah. I'm just disappointed that you thought you couldn't talk to me about it"
She looked down again.
"Hannah" he took a step closer and placed her hands in his.
"From now on, I want you to talk to me about anything. Simple or complicated doesn't matter. Talk to me, okay?"
She looked at him again.
"okay" she said softly and nodded.
"okay" he said and kissed her knuckles.
"So Hannah was on pills?" Josephine asked Layla. Layla is a maid in the castle. She's also Josephine's spy.
"I heard it myself mam" she said.
"Why though?"
Layla shrugged.
"okay. Here" Josephine gave her a golden coin. Layla bowed. She took a step to leave.
"Wait"
Layla stopped and faced her again.
"Can you do something for me?"
"Anything"
"Your majesty we need to go outside of the castle." Layla told Hannah.
"why?"
"It's important"
"Is everything okay?"
"A lady wants to talk to you"
"who?"
"I don't know"
"Fine let's go"
They walked outside and went behind the castle. Layla bowed and left.
Josephine removed the shawl covering her face. Hannah sighed.
"I have no time and energy for your dramas Josephine" Hannah turned to leave.
"You are on pills" Josephine said causing Hannah to stop.
"Why?" Josephine asked. Hannah turned around.
"How do you know?" Hannah asked.
"I have my sources. But why are you on pills?"
"It doesn't concern you"
"You really didn't want to marry him ha?"
Hannah remained silent.
"I have an offer" Josephine said.
Hannah waited for her to continue.
"I will help you to be free. I will help you to go back home and free of all this royalty. I will help you to get a divorce."
Hannah stayed silent for a few more seconds. She then looked at Josephine.
"If you made this offer to me a month ago I would've accepted with no buts and ifs. But now, I can't accept it. Sorry" she said and once again turn around to leave.
"You like him? Josephine asked.
"I don't know. But what I know is how I feel now is different from a month ago." she said without facing her and walked back inside.
Hannah entered the castle from the back door which was closer to her. She heard some voices coming from her left. No one was there though. She looked around and saw a wooden cabin. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. She heard laughter. A familiar laughter of a woman. She heard chuckles. A familiar chuckle of a man. She knocked and opened the door slowly. Her eyes widened.
"H-Hannah" Maura stuttered.
They were caught. Maura and Calum were caught. By Hannah.
"Listen" Maura cleared her throat. "It's not what you think."
"It's not my place to judge" Hannah responded walking out and closed the door.
Maura and Calum looked at each other for a second.
"Will she tell Niall?" Calum asked.
"Oh God Niall!" Maura rushed out. "Hannah" she called running after her. "Hannah" she reached her.
Hannah stopped. "Is everything okay?"
"Don't tell anyone about what you saw. Especially Niall"
"What I saw?" she asked confused.
"You know the cabin"
"What cabin?" Hannah acted confused.
"You know the wooden cabin"
"I don't know what you're talking about. All I saw was Emmett gardening the plants" Hannah said and walked away.
Maura smiled knowing they were safe. Hannah won't say anything to anyone. "I like you after all" Maura said happily and walked back to the cabin.
The next day arrived.
"Your majesty telephone for you" Heather said.
"Who is it?" she asked.
"Your mother"
Hannah took the telephone.
"Hello?"
"Hi honey"
"Mom. How is everything?"
"Everything is good. Your sister wants to talk to you"
"okay" Hannah smiled.
"Hi Hannah"
"Hi Harriet"
"I miss you"
"I miss you too"
"Why won't you come and visit us?"
"I'm sorry"
"Mom said we can't always barging in the castle either"
"I promise I will visit you soon."
"pinky promise?"
"pinky promise"
"okay then I am waiting for you"
"okay" Hannah smiled lightly.
"love you"
"love you too"
Harriet hung up. Hannah placed the phone down and sat behind the breakfast table.
"Is everything okay?" Niall asked.
"Yeah. Just my sister missing me. She asked why won't I visit them" she giggled.
"You know she can come here whenever she wants to right? Your whole family can."
She smiled softly nodding at him.
"How about this? After breakfast you and Jasper go and pick her up. She can spend the whole day here. Even the night. She can spend the night here. Tomorrow we'll drop her off at her home again" Niall suggested.
"I don't think you can handle that chipmunk for the whole day"
"Challenge accepted" he said causing her to laugh lightly and shake her head.
As Niall said Hannah picked Harriet up and brought her to the castle.
"Hi Harriet" Niall said once they entered.
"Hello your majesty" she said and bowed.
"Call me Niall. No need to be formal today" he said.
"okay"
On cue Elizabeth came to place Harriet's bag in the room she was staying.
Harriet gasped a bit and hid behind Niall holding a his arm as well.
Hannah and Niall looked at each other confused.
"Are you okay?" Hannah asked Harriet.
Harriet didn't answer her. She just looked at Elizabeth in fear.
"You can leave" Niall told Elizabeth. She bowed and left.
"Okay she's gone now" Niall turned around facing Harriet. He knelt down at her eye level.
"Did she hurt ya?" he asked. She shook her head negatively.
"Then why are you afraid of her?"
"She's a witch. I saw her doing magic the night we came here for dinner. The same night that the young woman came."
"Harriet where did you see the maid?" Hannah asked crouching down as well.
"At the end of the yard. I hid behind a tree."
"What did you see?" Niall asked.
"She was standing by a fire and saying stuff I couldn't understand"
Niall and Hannah looked at each other.
"I couldn't understand what she was saying but she kept saying Hannah's name" Harriet said. Niall stood up.
"You take her to our room. I'll be back. I need to take care of something" Niall said and walked to his office.
"Daniella. The king wants to see you in his office" Heather told Elizabeth.
She nervously walked to his office.
"Your majesty" Elizabeth bowed.
"Pack your stuff" King Horan said stamping a paper handing it to Liam.
"Please your majesty. What did I do? Please don't ban me from the castle"
"Oh I am not banning you from the castle"
She sighed in relief.
"I'm exiling you" he said. Her eyes widened.
"Sir. Please don't. Sir"
King Horan nodded at Liam and Liam signaled his guards. The guards held her arm and kept dragging her out.
"PLEASE DON'T! PLEASE! SAMANTHA!"
Samantha was busy kissing Louis in his room. He was on top of her making out with her.
"SAMANTHA!"
Samantha stopped kissing him and furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.
"Who else knows your real name?" Louis whisper asked.
"THEY'RE EXILING ME! SAMANTHA!"
Samantha's eyes widened. Her mother was being exiled. But she was in Louis' arms. She couldn't ruin it. As much as it hurt her but she once again connected her lips to him ignoring her mother's scrams and pleas.
"SAMANTHA!"
And just like that Elizabeth was exiled.
The whole day the castle was in peace. Harriet was having fun spending her day with Niall and Hannah.
"Alright. Just because you're spending the night here, it doesn't mean you can stay up past your bedtime. So get ready for bed" Hannah said.
"No" Harriet whined.
"Yes now come on"
"No" she ran to Niall. He picked her up.
"Come on Harriet. Niall's tired don't bug him"
"Nah it's fine" he said placing her on his shoulder causing her to giggle.
"No bedtime. No bedtime" Niall and Harriet chanted.
"I thought I was babysitting one child. Apparently I was wrong" Hannah joked.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Niall raised his eyebrow.
"Nothing" she laughed lightly.
"Niall tell your wife I don't want to go to bed" Harriet said.
"Excuse me?" Hannah asked.
"You heard the princess" Niall said.
"Only until I get ready for bed" Hannah warned Harriet.
"Deal" she said.
Hannah shook her head and went to the washroom to get ready for bed.
Niall took Harriet toward the window.
"Whoa. That's so much guards" Harriet said.
"I know" he said smiling.
"Hey that's Louis!" she said.
"Who's Louis?" he asked.
"Harry's friend" she said.
"Oh what a coincidence" he said placing her on the floor.
"Niall" she said cutely.
"yeah?"
"Before marrying Hannah, did you love someone else?" she asked innocently.
"No"
She nodded looking out the window. He looked out as well.
"Hannah loved Louis" she said while her eyes were on Louis.
Niall faced her knitting his eyebrows together.
"When?" he asked.
"Just before you married her." she said still looking at Louis.
"Did he breakup with her? Or she broke up with him?"
"No. Louis had some work to do outside the town. And then you proposed to her."
"Alright Harriet time for bed" Hannah came to the room.
Niall looked at her intensely.
"What?" she asked smiling.
