I looked at the Man for a few moments, surprised
Y/N: "Hashira?"
Oyakata: "Yes."
Y/N: "Why am I..?"
Oyakata: "It's because you have killed a member of one of the '12 Demon Moons' all by yourself did you not?"
Well, he isn't wrong.. on my second mission I easily took down Lower Moon 2, the demon that not even those who were a higher rank than me was able to take down
Y/N: "..I did, yes.."
Oyakata smiled "Then that is why, I am offering you the title of the Sun Hashira, so, Y/N Kamado.. Do you accept the title?"
A Moment of Silence passed before I gave my answer
"Yes.. I accept the title, Master Oyakata."
Oyakata smiled "Very well.. from now on, Y/N Kamado, you are officially appointed as the Sun Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps."
Later after the short meeting... Urokodaki came up to me
Urokodaki: "This is certainly a great achievement for you, Y/N, just 2 weeks after completing the Final Selection, you've become a Hashira Already." He smiled at me and patted my shoulders
Shinjuro: "Mhm! No other Slayer has achieved that as far as I know! I can see why Kyojuro talks about you so much!" He chuckled and patted my Shoulder also
Y/N: "Kyojuro, talks about me?"
Shinjuro nodded "Yes, he does, after completing the Final Selection he talked about meeting you and how your Breath Style was amazing."
I nodded "I see."
Urokodaki: "Now then, Master Oyakata gave assigned you an Estate to live at right?"
Y/N: "He did.."
Urokodaki nodded "Then why don't you go and check your estate?"
Y/N: "Sure I will, but it was nice seeing you again, Mr. Urokodaki." I smile
Urokodaki nodded "It was nice seeing you again, Y/N."
After my reunion with Mr. Urokodaki, I chatted with the other two Hashiras, Gyomei Himejima and Shinjuro Rengoku, as I talked with them I learned the Man who was called "Oyakata" was actually just a title and the real name of the man was Kagaya Ubuyashiki, The current head of the Ubuyashiki Family and Head of the Demon Slayer Corps
As soon as I finished chatting with my fellow Hashiras, I arrived at my Estate which was now called "The Sun Hashira's Estate", why was I given an Estate? Because, every Hashira is given once they earn their title and as I entered my estate, I immediately walked around the house to get more familiar with it and as I walked around the house, I noticed that there were already furniture set inside
I walk inside the Master's Bedroom and open the closet
Y/N: "I should rest.. I haven't gotten much for the past week.." I thought as I slowly took my attire off and got into a new one
After changing into a new attire, I began to write a letter which was for my family and beside me was my crow, which was currently eating some bread pieces I gave it
During the 1 Week, I had gotten news from my mother that she was pregnant again, but at the same time I was informed that my Father, Tanjuro, was diagnosed with a terminal illness, so after received that message, I had bought some medicine which could possibly help my Father get better, so during the 1 Week I had sent letters to them and some medicine to help him
After Finishing my letter, I fold the paper and placed it in a small container where the medicine was also placed in
I slowly push the small container towards my crow who in return took it and slowly hovered
Y/N: "Take it to my family, please."
The Crow nodded and it flew out of my window and up to the sky
I sigh and looked around the house "I should.. buy new clothes and furniture.." I thought and I grabbed my wallet
I open it and counted how much money I currently had
Y/N: "..20,000 Yen.." I mutter and close my wallet "..It's enough.."
-(Time skip)-
Throughout the Entire Day, I used up most of my money to buy new clothing, food, and new furniture, for the entire day I had set up and replaced some of the old furniture with the ones I bought
The Next Day, I had set up training dummies on my backyard, practicing my 'Sun Breathing' and 'Water Breathing' forms but it was mostly 'Sun Breathing'
On the Third Day, I decided to do Breathing Exercises by blowing into Gourds until they broke, throughout the entire day, all I had done was just Breathing Exercises and usually some physical ones
..For the Entire Week, all I had done was practice my Sword Forms and Breathing Exercises, Usually Mr. Urokodaki came by to visit me, sometimes it was Himejima who passes by my estate at times
During the week, I usually did sparring matches with Himejima or Mr. Urokodaki which I won all the time, sometimes missions were assigned to me but it was usually to take care of weaker Demons
But as the Week passed, I had gotten news that Shinjuro Rengoku, the Flame Hashira, had suddenly retired for unknown reasons and soon after that Mr. Urokodaki had also retired from being a Hashira, leaving Me and Gyomei Himejima as the only two Hashira left
I do understand why Mr. Urokodaki had decided to retire but for Shinjuro, I was left wondering why he retired, we didn't talk much but just like Kyojuro he always had a burning passion of slaying demons, so I didn't really understand why that passion died so suddenly
Now back in the Present, I was currently walking back towards my estate with The Stone Hashira beside me after completing a mission that was assigned to us both, needless to say it was an easy one
Himejima: "I have to say, Kamado, the way you fought those demons were certainly amazing."
Y/N: "I could say the same to you to, Himejima, I never really saw a Slayer who uses weapons like you do.."
Himejima nodded and we continued to walk forward all while just talking about random topics
But then I suddenly stopped
Y/N: "..A Demon is.. nearby.."
Himejima quickly gripped his weapon and looked around "Where?"
Y/N: "It's not here.. it's somewhere near here.."
Himejima: "If you know where the demon is, don't wait for me Kamado, go."
I nodded at him and soon I sprint away at high speeds, leaving The Stone Hashira to follow behind
I then stopped sprinting as I found myself in front of a House, I looked around the area and noticed the windows of the House were broken and blood was splashed around the walls
Y/N: "A Demon.." I mutter as I quickly ran inside the house,
As I entered the house, I heard the screams of 2 girls coming from one room, as I heard the noise I gripped my sword tightly and ran towards the room
I then ran into the room I noticed a Demon, currently munching on a dead body, I then looked behind the Demon and noticed 2 Girls that were currently hiding in a corner, 1 had a black, Long, straight, black hair that reached towards her shoulders, and had eyes that were a pale violet and slanted towards the sides of her face, bright and bug-like, with many notable white sparkles reflecting light off of them and this girl sported a pair of green and pink butterfly hairpins that was adorned on either side of her head
And the other Girl had black wavy hair that faded to dark purple, styled at the back of her head, and she had a pale complexion and large, compound-like eyes that lack pupils, only a haze of gradient purple
Currently the two girls were in a corner, hugging each other and protecting each other from the demon
As I looked at the two girls, I noticed their similarities and concluded that these two girls were sisters, the first one being the eldest since she looked like she was the same age as me and the other one was the Younger Sibling
After my observation, I looked towards the Demon and at the Body he was munching
Y/N: "This demon.. it must've attacked them in the middle of night probably while this family was asleep.." I thought and clutched my blade tighter "Why couldn't I have been here sooner?" I thought
The Demon swallowed and looked at me
Demon: "..More... Food..!" The Demon laughed and lunged at me
I quickly took a stance and took a deep breath
"Raging Sun." I unleashed two powerful horizontal slashes on the Demon and in one move, it's head was severed from its body and it's head fell down on the ground and rolled past me
I looked down on the body with a sympathetic look before I eyed the two girls who seemed to have calm down a little but were still afraid
Y/N: "Are you okay?"
???: "Y- Yes.. we're.. fine.." The eldest replied
Y/N: "I see.." I turn to the body "..Was this man.. a relative of yours?"
The girl nodded
Y/N: "I see, may I ask what your names are?"
Kanae: "Kanae, Kanae Kocho and th-this is my sister.. Shinobu Kocho.."
