We use R.E.X. to traverse under the Endless Sea.
"We're almost to the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master." Zane informed as I gazed at all the fishes and sharks
"Yeah. Can't believe we're almost there after all we've been through." Cole replied
"I can't believe I'm underwater." Kai whimpered
"You? What about me? Just how thick is this glass?" Cole asks as he taps the glass a couple times.
"We're heading to your location now. With Morro already ahead of you and able to foresee the traps protecting the tomb with the Sword of Sanctuary, it's going to be up to you five to find the Realm Crystal before he does." Sensei Wu stated on the screen
"Hehe, Cole's a Ghost, Kai can't swim, we have no magical sword or Elemental Powers except for Y/n." Jay laughs nervously. "What could go wrong?"
Misako started talking on the screen. "I may not know the three tests you're about to face, but I discovered a riddle that makes reference to it that may help, A Spinjitzu Master can. A Spinjitzu Master cannot. To move forward, don't look ahead, to find his resting spot."
"Huh. That's food for thought." Cole commented
I look out the window to see a Leviathan. "We are all gonna die!" I yell pointing at the creature.
"We have to go faster. Much faster." Kai replied freaking out as The Leviathan cracks R.E.X.'s glass. "Why did the tomb have to be underwater?" Kai sighed
"Ugh! What kind of weapons is this thing equipped with?" Jay questioned as an alarm started blaring
"We don't need weapons. Aim for that rock!" Zane ordered
"On it." Cole replied going through the rock for the Leviathan to get stuck.
"Yeah! All right!" We all cheer and Jay pats the seat "Thatta Boy, R.E.X.! Thatta boy!"

We arrive at the tomb's entrance. Walking in the sand "If you wanna hide a tomb, this looks like a good place. We're here." Cole stated
Jay picks up a green cloth. "Argh! There goes any hope Morro couldn't find this place."
"Hey, stay positive. We're about to risk our lives going through traps we know nothing about. All we have to rely on is each other. At least feel lucky we got this far." Kai encouraged
"Oh, I'm sorry. You're right. What was I thinking?" Jay asks in a sarcastic tone. "Hey, there goes any hope Morro couldn't find the tomb! We're not alone! Yay! Now we're gonna have to fight him again! Sure we got our tails handed to us last time, but you never know in the future, because ninja never quit!"
He then goes back to his normal tone. "Better?"
"Eh, I'll take it." Kai shrugged
Zane points to a statue. "Look!"
"The First Spinjitzu Master. Creator of all Ninjago." I breath out as Jay shoved my arm playfully "hehe that's your grandfather."
"I am aware Jay." I reply sighing
"Destination reached. Auto return initiated." R.E.X stated making us all turn around
"Auto return? No, no! Bad, R.E.X.! Bad!" Jay shouted as we chase after R.E.X., but it submerges underwater.
"Our Aeroblade weapons were in there." Zane said
"Ugh, not to mention our only way back." Kai groaned
"Typical Ronin." I roll my eyes
"Hey, stay positive! Who needs a way back when we gotta go that way?" Jay asked laughing
"No sword, no powers, no problem. We can do this, guys. As long as we got each other, right?" Kai asked happily as we go to the first test and see doors with symbols on each.
"This could be the first test." Cole said
"Ooh! Why did it have to be tests? Why can't the tomb just be protected by Dragons? We're good with Dragons." Jay said
"I think we're supposed to pick a door, but which one?" I ask looking around
"Um, what was it Misako said?" Jay questioned
"A Spinjitzu Master can. A Spinjitzu Master cannot. To move forward, don't look ahead, to find his resting spot." Zane recited
"A Spinjitzu master can. Can what?" Kai asked
"Sixteen doors, for Sixteen Realms?" Jay pieces together
"Well, could be. But let me guess, pick the wrong door and we'll be in a realm of hurt." Cole replied
"Oh, I wish we had the Sword right about now." Jay groaned
"We can figure this out." I state as we all come together "A Spinjitzu Master can. Can..." I trail off trying to think
"The symbol above this door, it's a tornado. This could be the one, right?" Jay asks as we approach
"You could be right." I respond as he goes to open the door
"Jay, wait!" Zane yells "Step away from that door, Jay." He pulls him away.
"W-what is it?" Jay stuttered
"We're inside a zoetrope." Zane informed
"A zoe-what?" Kai questioned
"A zoetrope. The engravings in rapid succession creates a moving image." Zane explained
"Uh, I don't get it." Cole stated
"A Spinjitzu Master can. Do Spinjitzu!" Kai smiled jumping up
"Exactly." Zane does Spinjitzu. "He's creating some sort of shape." He stops and points to a door with the corresponding image. "That one. That's the door out."
"I don't know, Zane. Isn't that the same door we came in? Are you sure?" Cole doubted
"Are you sure you want to doubt a Nindroid?" I ask
"Open the door. Let's find out." Kai replied as Jay opens it and we find the second test.
"But...that's wasn't here before. How can it be the way, if that's the way we came in?" Cole questioned as I shrugged
"Well, welcome to the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master." Kai commented and I saw a room with rocks and a staff in the middle
"Hey, hey! Nice one, Zane. Who needs the Sword of Sanctuary when you've got a Nindroid?" Jay chuckles
"The Staff of the First Spinjitzu Master." Kai pointed going to it
"Wait!" I yell stopping him. "This is the second test, remember?" I reminded
"Zane, what do you think?" Cole asks
"P.I.X.A.L. can see no pattern. For this riddle room, I'm at a loss." Zane answered
"Think about it. The first test was A Spinjitzu Master can. So this one's A Spinjitzu Master cannot. Though, saying it out loud, I don't like the sound of that." Jay said as Kai steps on a tile that activates a trap.
"Uh-oh!" We yell dodging it.
"Is everyone okay?" Cole questioned
"Oh, that was a close one." Jay replied
"Every step, a trap." I say not moving
"How does one reach the staff if it becomes more difficult with every step to get there? If I'm correct, this riddle room poses quite the conundrum." Zane shared
"So if a Spinjitzu Master can't do it, how are we supposed to reach the staff?" Cole pondered
"Watch and learn." Kai remarked as he uses Airjitzu, but activates another trap. "Huh? What—uh-oh!" He dodges it, but activates more traps in the process.
"No. Wait!"
"Not that one!"
"Just stop!"
"Kai!"
We all yell protest dodging many attacks on us. Jay steps back and accidentally hits a tile causing more traps
"Oh, no!" I whisper jumping up to dodge a wrecking ball.
Cole is hit by an obstacle, but is unaffected. "Wait, I'm a ghost. What am I worried about?" The wrecking ball pushes a button and water starts leaking out. "That! That, I can worry about!"
"I can make it." Kai shouted
"Kai! Stop!" I yell moving after him
"Will everyone please stop moving!?" Jay panicked. We all stop and after no more traps are active, we are each standing on our own tiles.
"I can make it. It's just a hop, skip, and a jump." Kai replied as he tries to use Airjitzu, but the tiles under him fall, making him crawl back.
"But what else comes with a hop, skip, and a jump? You trigger one more trap, I don't know how much more we can take." Cole stated
"The clue clearly said this is a test a Spinjitzu Master cannot do. So why are we not listening to the clue!?" Jay spazzed
"Trust me, I can make it." Kai assured
"Wait. What if it's a trick? What if the reason we can't do it is because we were never meant to reach the staff? What is the first rule of being a ninja?" I questioned piecing it together
"A ninja never quits." Zane stated
"Exactly, and that's why we can't do it. Because a ninja would never give up." I explained
"What are you trying to say? We just quit? Are you insane?" Kai freaked out
"I know I lost some of your trust with the Ronin thing. But trust me this time." I jump off the tile as they all shout my name
I landed on some ice slide "Whoo-hoo! Haha! Come on down and enjoy the ride!" I yell back hearing the ninja jump down
We all suddenly got on the same path. "Seriously? Try to stay together!" Kai called
"Stay together? I'm just trying to stay in one piece! Aah!" Jay remarked as we all got separated again
"Aah!" I shouted landing on top of Cole "Sorry."
Suddenly I felt someone land on top of me "Sorry Y/n." Jay said as I winced from the weight "It's okay Jay."
Suddenly Kai ran into all of us causing us to scatter. But we still end up on the same path. Suddenly we all go through a snow wall leading us to the third test.
"Is everyone okay?" Zane asks
"What did we get ourselves into?" I whisper
Jay climbs up a wall. "Oh, it's a maze! I'm great at mazes!"
I walk into the maze and gaze into the ice seeing my reflection it was me but older. "Guys what's happening?"
Zane stops next to me stunned at his reflection. "I don't believe these reflections reveal our inability to escape, but a mere glimpse of our future selves."
"Misako said To move forward, don't look ahead. Is that what it means?" Cole asks
I simply take a closer look at my reflection when someone comes into view. "Who's that?" I mumble looking closer to see it was Cole but older we were hugging each other and he wasn't a ghost.
We were together officially. I looked around to Cole he's gonna see it too. No no no that's so embarrassing. I quickly run over to him standing in front to block his reflection. "Y/n?" He asks trying to carefully push me out of the way.
"Cole don't look." I reply nervously
"Why." He laughs before moving around me
"I-"
"Wait a minute, what." He eyes it sadly
"Cole it doesn't mean anything who-"
"Why is it I can't see my reflection? Where is my reflection?" Cole freaks out ignoring me
"It's probably because you're a Ghost." Kai replied
I eyed him confused but my reflection showed something different.
"Ghosts cast reflections, Kai. He's probably just looking in the wrong place." Zane stated, him and Kai come up to us.
"I am looking at the same place you are." Cole remarked
"Hey, guys, guess what. I get an awesome eyepatch!" Jay shouted gleefully "And there's something else." He gasps making us turn around
"What, Jay? What is so great that you see that I clearly cannot?" Cole shot back
"N-nothing. Just an eyepatch." Jay stuttered
"Wait a minute, I think I see me." Cole said as he takes a closer look. "It's Morro! He's in the maze too!" Cole yelled as Morro broke the ice
"All you ninja do is talk. Blah, blah, blah. I'll stop you from talking!" He swings his sword at Jay.
Jay runs away. "Aah! He's attacking an unarmed man!"
"Just keep running Jay!" I yell
"We're coming for you!" Kai shouted as I followed Zane Kai went somewhere else.
I see Morro and lunge myself at him before he hits Jay.
"Zane's and Y/n are here, but Cole, where are you?" Jay asks
"I don't really know. But I'm coming!" Cole yelled as Morro pulled me off of him. Cole fell into Morro. "Huh, why didn't I do that sooner?"
Morro grunts running up to Cole. I quickly grab icicles from off the ground. "Cole!" I hold one up and he nods as I toss it to him.

"Quick, how do we get out of here?" Jay panicked as we successfully trapped Morro in icicles
"To move forward, don't look ahead." I repeat trying to think
"Don't look ahead. Look below!" Jay yelled
"There's light. Everyone, dig!" Kai yelled as we fall through the hole we dug.
"Ow! What? What is it?" Jay panicked
As I ran down to the skeleton "It's him. The First Spinjitzu Master. My grandfather." I stated as we all knelt down to honor him.
After a few moments of silence. "The Realm Crystal." Zane said grabbing it slowly and carefully
"How does it work?" Kai asks
"How it works is you'll hand over the Crystal, or say goodbye to your friend." Morro yelled coming into view with Lloyd
"I'm sorry. I couldn't stop him." Lloyd groaned
"So what'll it be?" Morro asked
"We hand him the Crystal, he'll usher the reign of his master, cursing Ninjago and every realm." Zane informed
"But if we don't, when has he never made good on a threat? Look at Lloyd. He's too weak to protect himself." Cole replied
"We should help save Lloyd." Kai added
"Ugh, either option totally stinks. What do you think, Y/n? What do we do?" Jay asked as Zane holds the crystal out to me. I carefully take the crystal in my hands.
"Looks like the decision is up to you, Y/n. So choose." Morro threatened as I thought about a plan for a moment what should I do to get both.
"Stop stalling! Give me the Realm Crystal, or else!" Morro yelled pushing Lloyd out to the edge of the river. Lloyds definitely not strong enough to swim if he's pushed.
"We're not stalling! We're thinking!" I argued pulling the ninja in for a huddle. "He's totally right, I'm stalling." I admitted nervously "What are we gonna do?"
"Ugh, this guy really chaps my hide. I swear, when this is all over..." Cole said as his anger makes the ground tremble slightly.
"Our powers. Now that Morro's out of Lloyd's body, they're starting to come back." Kai commented
"Yeah, but like Lloyd, they're weak. And we're in no position to fight back." Jay replied
"Leave that to me. Be ready." I stated
"Time's up! You leave me no choice." Morro said as I created an air pocket under the crystal so when he grabbed the crystal it would spiral out of hand.
"Wait! We'll give you the Realm Crystal!" I shout tossing it to him Morro laughs as he catches it, for a spilt moment. But it spiraled falling into the river. "The Crystal! What have you done!?" Morro screamed as he used Wind to push Lloyd in the stream.
"Lloyd!" We yell in unison
We all begin chasing after Lloyd. "I can't get to him. I can't swim!" Kai yelled
"You can't swim? I can't touch the water! I'm a Ghost, remember? You at least had a reflection! What happens to me?" Cole questioned while I jump in the water to get Lloyd.
I grabbed Lloyds body to hear him mumbling things. "It's okay." I reassured "you're safe now I promise." He held up his hand up weakly to a fist bump. I chuckled hitting his fist and trying to swim to the shore line but the current was too strong.
NOT TO MENTION A WATERFALL WAS COMING UP!
"You have to grab them, Cole! Before they both go over!" Zane yelled as I reached my hand out. I felt someone grab my hand pulling me up with Lloyd. I started coughing trying to regain my breath along with Lloyd.
"We're okay." I state to the ninja who were gathered around us I turned my attention to Lloyd helping him up. "It's time you get home."
We walked out of the cave to hear the cheers from the Bounty.
"You all sacrificed so much to save me." Lloyd said
"You're my little brother. If dad were here and I didn't save you..." I shuddered at the thought "I would be learning lessons of teamwork for years."
"But now Ninjago's gonna be cursed." Lloyd responded
"Yes, but now we have you." Zane stated
"And now our powers are back." Jay added as I took off my bracelet feeling the wind blow from my fingertips
"As you get strong, so will we. And they haven't even seen us at full strength." Cole replied

I was sitting at my desk in my room before hearing a knock. "It's open!" I shout not bothering to see who it was. I continued reading my book.
"Can we talk?" Jay asked making me look up
"Uh sure. Sit down." I gesture to the seat across from me
"I consider us close friends Y/n." Jay said to me as if he were looking to see if I felt the same way.
"Yeah I guess we are." I reply and he nodded
"Which is why I'm trusting you with something because I get the feeling this happened to you too." Jay stated
"Okay..."
"When we were looking at our future reflections I was with Nya. There! That's what it was!" He confessed then sighed happily to take it off his chest
"Wow Jay that's great!" I reply giving enthusiasm and he laughed nervously "yeah let's hope it actually happens. I'm pretty sure I know who you saw."
"I'm sure you do." I comment sighing and looking away. "But it's never gonna happen because he didn't even see me in his. So what does that mean?" I ask knowing Jay wouldn't be able to answer
"Don't think about his. Think about yours. Was he still a ghost?" Jay questioned
"No he was back to normal." I stated
"Then you need to tell him!" Jay jumped up
"Woah! Woah! Slow down." I say pushing him back in the seat
"This would make him so happy! Because he would be with you! He wouldn't be a ghost! He would know he has a future!" Jay spazzed
"Jay slow down. How do I even know if he wants that?"
"Trust me he does." Jay chuckled looking away
"What do you know?" I pry for Jay to become nervous
"No way! I'm not getting beat up for you." Jay refused holding his hand up
"Oh Jay please!" I begged shaking his arm
"Fine!" Jay shouted making me smile and sit back. "One day during training Ronin came up to us and said something like you had repaid your favor, and you know me, naturally I was curious. So I asked what it was, and Ronin said you guys had went on some date and even kissed! I mean Y/n when I heard that I was a little mad at you not gonna lie-"
"But that didn't happen!" I defended and he put his hand up shushing me
"I know just listen. This is the best part. So Cole starts getting all mad. He's like, what do you mean? You guys kissed? Then he starts going crazy on Ronin, punching him. Kicking him, saying that he took advantage of you. I just couldn't believe it. Kai and Zane broke them up and then Ronin said the worst thing ever. He said that Cole doesn't stand a chance with you because he's a ghost. After that Cole stormed off." Jay finished gossiping leaving me shocked
"I never knew." I shook my head in disbelief. "Oh when I see Ronin." I glare hitting the table. "Jay why didn't you tell me sooner?! Why didn't anyone tell me sooner?!"
"We didn't want to talk to you, Y/n because number one we were on Cole's side. Number two it was kinda private. Number three I just didn't know how to bring it up." Jay admitted
"I have to fix this now." I stated getting up for Jay to grab my arm
"No! You can't tell him I told you! Cole said you can never find out!" Jay groaned
I took a breath before nodding my head. "Okay, okay!"
Jay smiled giving me a hug "thanks Y/n! I'm gonna go talk to Nya now." I nodded as he pulled away exiting my room
I feel like a jerk now I mean sure I didn't do anything but in a way I did. Poor Cole...
