Caspar's POV
Joe and I had invited some of our friends ( Dan, Phil, Jim, Tanya, Niomi and Marcus) round for the afternoon. When they had asked us why, we just told them there was something we had to tell them that I didn't want to say over the phone.
A mixture of excitement and dread filled my mind. I knew that they would be understanding, but... ugh I don't know.
"Joe?" I called down the stairs to Joe, he was in his room and I was upstairs, attempting to tidy up.
"Yeah Caspy?"
I walked down to him and gave him a feeble hug.
"You ok?" Joe frowned at me.
"W-what if they don't like it? What I-if they don't u-understand?" I stuttered.
"Oh Caspy! Don't think like that, I'm sure they will be fine with us! And if not, they weren't proper friends" he let out a half-hearted laugh.
I smiled at him and squeezed him tighter, he really was the best.

"Guys..."
Everyone had arrived and were huddled on the sofas.
I looked at Joe and he nodded as if to say 'tell them'.
"Me and Joe are together!" I blurted out.
A mixture of surprise, delight and confused looks were shared about. I nibbled on my lip nervously wondering what they were going to say.
The first person to do something was Tanya.
"Oh guys!!!!" She squealed.
Joe and I were engulfed in a hug by her as she continued to smile.
"I knew it" was all Marcus said, however he came up and hugged us both as well.
"Congrats guys!" Dan and Phil high-fives us.
Niomi nodded and smiled as she gave us an enormous hug.
"Congratulations" Jim said as he patted both of our knees.
Surprisingly not much more was said apart from the odd 'I knew it' and 'such a cute couple'. I didn't know why I was so worried before, they took it a lot better than I imagined.
I smiled at Joe and we ordered pizza for us all, I hadn't realised quite how hungry I was.
