"Okay we need to find the wood section" Scarlett says
"Where the hell is that at" Ares says
"That's why I said we need to find it" she says rolling her eyes
"Lio I challenge you to a sword fight" Halston says
Oh lord.
"You're on" Lio says grabbing a broom stick
"I- WHA- THATS NOT FAIR" Ares says going up to Julie
"Jules I challenge you to a-"
"Just give me a broomstick Auggie" she says rolling her eyes
Now there are four mature adults sword fighting in the broomstick isle
"I honestly think if we leave now, they'll still be here" Scar says from next to me
"Yeah let's go" I say as we slowly back up and leave the isle
"YOU BITCH YOU HIT ME" I hear Julie yell
"HELLO THATS THE POIN- AHH" There goes poor Ares
Good thing it's almost empty since it's almost 9 but I still feel bad for the workers
Ten minutes later
After what feels like eternity we finally find the wood section thanks to a worker, we would have never found it on our own
"How much do you think we're gonna need" I say looking at the wood
"I don't know a lot I think" she says arms crossed next to me
"Just put it in the cart and whatever seems like enough should be enough" she says
"Okay" i say putting the wrapped wood in the cart, it's a little heavy
"There you guys are" I hear from down the isle
"Who won?" Scar ask
"Does it ma-"
"I did" Lio says smiling
"Yeah because I wasn't feeling well" Halston says rolling his eyes
In all fairness Lio looks like he lives at the gym.
"Mhm" Lio says poking Halston's cheek
"Stop" he says slapping his hand away
"Boop" Lio pokes his cheek again
"Stop that" Halston says slapping him on the stomach
"Who's gonna make me" He says and they start slapping eachother
"Hellooo, children are you guys not gonna ask who won between us" Ares says
"We don't need to ask we already know who won" Scar says making us laugh
"Some friends I have" he says going towards the wood and putting two at a time in there
Once Halston and Lio stop fighting like the children they are, they help too, once we think we have enough, we go to the lighter section to get a long reach one, and once we have it we make our way to the front.
We pay for the stuff, and by we I mean Halston, and once we get everything in the car we get in.
"We have to go early tomorrow so we might as well have a sleepover bitches" Ares says from the back
"We can swing by the cove house so you can get your stuff, either way we have to stop by either house to pack stuff" Lio says from the drivers seat
"Yeah let's do that" Scar says from behind me next to Ares
"Put your seatbelt on fuckers" Julie says right before driving like we all have 9 lives to spare.
15 minutes later
"Baby you look fine In anything" Halston says from my bed
Im currently packing a bikini, a hot one might I add, I've been doing all the first moves and I'm tired of feeling like a horny teenager, so I'm gonna make him a horny teenager.
"You're just saying that because-"
"Because what" he says and I can hear the smirk in his voice
"Because yo- becaus- Ugh ur a jerk" I finish when I hear him laughing
10 bikinis after I find the perfect one and fold it to put it in my overnight bag, instead of taking my toothbrush, toothpaste, and makeup remover I just do my routine now
"Hey ima take a quick shower" I say knowing it won't be quick to him because he's a guy
"Oh good I need one too"
"Halston" I say giving him a look
"Kidding" he says "maybe"
"Mhm" I say before going into my drawers and getting my sleep shorts and a sports bra along with my undergarments, and head to the shower closing the door behind me
30 minutes later
"I thought you said it was gonna be a quick shower" Halston says from my bed
"That was a quick shower" I say all ready
"They're all downstairs already so we should go" he says staring at me
Nope I'm not making a move this time.
"Okay cool let's go" I say walking past him and out the door
We meet everyone downstairs and head out making sure to lock the door.
We're walking to the car when Halston puts his arm around me, still walking but a just a bit behind everyone else.
"Hey, are we fine" he ask
"Yeah why wouldn't we be"
He stares at me for a moment before saying "okay just making sure"
Sucker.
We all get in the car once again and head to the tag house.
15 minutes later
Sleeping arrangements weren't clear but I'm sleeping with Halston, Scar is sleeping with Ares, and Julie said she would sleep in the guest bedroom and when she was leaving to find it, Lio chased after her.
"Do you think something's up with Lio and Julie"
We're currently laying on his bed, and true to my word I am not making any move to romanticize him, so I keep my hands to myself and hold the good amount of distance we have
"I don't know" he says on his phone
"I think there is, I mean the way they act around each other, you'd be blind not to see it" I say staring at the ceiling
"Mhm" he says smiling at his phone texting, no doubt, one of his sex buddies
He's not even paying attention, Jesus what am I doing.
I turn around and decide to just go to sleep and I feel the bed tilt and hand goes around my waist
He's such a jerk.
"Get off me Halston" i say not wanting his attention now
"I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention but now I am, you were saying something about Julie and Lio" he says tightening his grip on my waist
"Im serious Halston get off me I'm tired" In one way out of many.

"Goodnight Halston"
His hands slowly let me go and the bed shifts letting me know he turned around.
He can be so confusing sometimes, and I get so sidetracked by his charming ways, that sometimes I forget how much pain he put me through back in high school.
