-Author's POV-
It took everything in Kimberley not to grab her girlfriend by the waist and kiss her in the middle of a packed arena. But, she controls herself. It was a long night of singing and dancing for the five girls; they sit with their jammies and a cuppa in the bus. Chatting away nonsense.
"So tomorrow is an off day no?" Sarah asks, cautiously sipping her steaming brew.
"Yeah, then we have rehearsals and soundcheck early the next day" Kimberley sighs and relaxes back into the cushioned seat; the telly plays softly in the background. Cheryl discreetly edges closer to her girlfriend, needing some sort of contact from her.
"Maybe we can all go out for some dinner tomorrow?" Nadine pipes in, finishing the rest of her cuppa and setting down the empty mug.
"Yeah-" Cheryl cuts off her girlfriend.
"Why don't we all kind of catch a relaxing break or something?" She speaks, trying not to sound rude.
"You want to go out on your own?" Nicola asks with a light laugh.
"No not like on me own-"
"With Kimberley?" Sarah raises her eyebrow, her blue eyes looking at the closeness of their position.
They think I'm stupid. She thinks to herself.
"No-" Kimberley cuts off her girlfriend.
"Yeah I wanted to show her around-"
"You're not from Manchester Kimberley, it should be me showing Cheryl around.. Seeing as this is where I'm from?"
"Well then you can show her around-"
"Kimba" Cheryl's eyes grow wide, she whispers for her girlfriend to change her words.
Sarah watches with amusement, the other two girls have grown bored with the conversation, both busying themselves with a phone in hand.
"So that's settled then, I'll be showing Cheryl around tomorrow." Sarah hides her smirk and stands to her feet.
"Bright and early the next morning," She fakes a yawn. "Well, goodnight you lot. I'll see you tomorrow." She walks off before anyone can say another word.
"Yeah reckon I'll follow Saz. Good night girls" Nadine stands, Nicola mirrors her bandmates actions. Leaving both Cheryl and Kimberley alone at last.
Kimberley laughs the second they are left alone.
"It's not funny Kimba!" Cheryl smacks her girlfriend's chest.
"You gonna enjoy your day with Saz?" The blonde teases.
"Fix it now." The Geordie demands, her arms folding across her chest childishly.
"You promised we'd share a day together" She adds.
"I know baby-"
"No you don't know, you've practically got rid of us" She huffs; Kimberley smiles and pulls her girlfriend quickly onto her lap. Kissing her cheek repeatedly until the upset brunette smiled once more.
"Stop it" Cheryl giggles, her dimples out in full.
"I'll come with you's" She whispers, wrapping her arms firmly around the Geordies slim waist.
"No," Cheryl sighs and buries her face into the crook of Kimberley's neck. "I wanted it to be our day like"
"We've got plenty of those" The blonde runs her hand into her girlfriend's sleepwear, calming her nerves down instantly.
"Can I sleep in your bunk tonight?" Kimberley pouts and shakes her head.
"I'll leave early-"
"I know you wont."
"Please baby," Cheryl whispers, sounding close to tears.
"I'm not even spending the day with you tomorrow, and you're now not allowing us to sleep-"
"Don't start with that.. Come on. We've got plenty of days to cuddle and-"
"I want today to be one of those" Cheryl was stubborn, and nobody knew that more than Kimberley.
"Hey," The blonde whispers, her hand still roaming under the Geordie's top. "Let's share some kisses before bed, I've missed your lips" she ignores her girlfriends previous whining. They kiss softly, Cheryl's arms wrap around Kimberley's neck. Their tongues always swirling in a slow and sensual rhythm.
They recline back into the sofa, their lips never releasing from the passionate kiss.
Kimberley's hand roams further up, resting against Cheryl's perky bra clad breast. Squeezing it with tenderness.
"You can sleep in my bunk" The blonde murmurs against her girlfriends lips, this gets Cheryl to grasp the back of Kimberley's neck, kissing her with hunger as a reward.
They spend another few minutes taking in each other's tasteful tongues.
"Come on." Kimberley breathes; she carefully shuffles off the Geordie and helps her to stand. They quietly tiptoe to Kimberley's bunk and climb in with no troubles or sound.
"Can we talk for a bit?" Cheryl whispers, Kimberley doesn't reply until her curtain was closed securely, not allowing a single light through from the small aisle.
"What do you want to talk about?" They speak in a hushed tone.
"I don't know, baby I can't see you.. Turn on your lamp" Kimberley tuts playfully and turns the small light on, finally allowing both women to see each other clearly.
"C'mere" She whispers, pulling a smiling Cheryl into her arms.
"I love you" Kimberley whispers sweetly, she places kisses to the Geordie's smiling lips.
"I love hearing you say that." They smile at each other, it's filled with lust and something else. Something only the two of them will ever know, it was sacred and intimate. It was their special look. Eyes sparkle and dance with the low light beaming down above them, they were lovesick and they wouldn't change it for the world.
"Do you know what I wish?" The blonde whispers, Cheryl remains quiet. Her eyes and ears focus to the words spilling out of her lovers lips.
"I wish I can tell you how much you mean to me" She begins, her voice grows with emotion. "I wish I can love you the way you deserve to be loved.. They way I want to love you.." She trails off.
"I want--" Cheryl begins but Kimberley wasn't finished with her admiration.
"I want to kiss you in front of everyone, I want the whole world to know.. I want them to know exactly who you love, and who loves you." Kimberley's eyes begin to water, she's unable to keep her emotions together. Soon enough, she's in her girlfriends arms crying and sobbing softly.
Cheryl's arms envelope Kimberley and encase her into love. The blonde lies atop of her, clutching on like her life depended on it.
"I-It's so hard" She weeps, it was Cheryl's turn to be strong. She needed to hold her lover and tell her that everything would be okay, even if it wasn't.
"C'mon baby.. Shhh" Their voices were always low, their sound would automatically turn into hushes when around others. It was something they couldn't control.
"I..I want to be with you .. Only you" Kimberley hiccups her words.
"I feel trapped and controlled.. I'd give it all up for you" Cheryl is unable to utter a single word, she's taken back. It was usually her breaking down.
"I'd run away with you--"
"Baby, you said it yourself.. We can't--"
"I changed m-my mind. Please, please if you love me-" Cheryl cuts her off with a kiss, Kimberley's lips tremble into the passion that's eased it's way into their bunk. Cheryl is quick to readjust her position, allowing the distraught blonde to lie beneath her while she kisses her deeply.
"You know I love you," She speaks breathlessly, "I'd do absolutely anything for you--"
"Then do this for me.. For us" Her brown eyes bore into the blue-greys and suddenly, they can't look anywhere else.
"Please" Kimberley pleads, their eyes never shifting.
"For us" Cheryl repeats her girlfriends words in a whisper and returns to their passionate kiss.
"I'll do anything for you" The Geordie reassures her, their lips mingle and fuss together. They lock each other in a tight embrace, kissing until sleep took over.

"Please Kimba," Cheryl pleads and yanks her girlfriend back to her. "I don't want to go without you." She breathes.
"I've already said I can't go, it's going to look suspicious if I suddenly agreed to go just because you spoke to me-"
"Please!"
Sarah stands around the corner, and listens in to every word the couple utters.
"Baby, please." And with those words spoken, it was all confirmed to Sarah. Her best friends were much more than two overly affectionate friends.
"If you want to come Kimberley just come.. Don't upset your girlfriend" The couple jolts apart, their hearts rise in speed.
Sarah finally turns the corner in the back do the bus and meets her friends flustered expressions.
"Care to share something?" She asks, folding her arms across her chest.
"We.. I.. Kimba's going to come with us." Cheryl laughs nervously.
"I'm sure Kimba has been coming with you plenty--"
"Sarah!" Kimberley hisses and steps forward to look I anyone else was in the bus.
"Explain." Their band mate demands.
"We just... We.."
"We are together." Kimberley takes it upon herself to finish her girlfriends stumbling words. "Please don't tell anyone.. We just-"
"You're cheating on Justin and Ashley together?!"
"Not like he didn't cheat first!" Cheryl says childishly.
"How can you cheat on Justin?! He's been nothing but amazing to you!" Sarah ignores the Geordie and points a finger at Kimberley.
"You don't know a thing-"
"I know he's been amazing to you-"
"Sarah just," Kimberley sighs in frustration. "Just please, I don't want to explain and go into detail-"
"How long has this been going on for?" She pushes.
The lovers stay silent.
"How long?!" She snaps.
Kimberley murmurs her reply.
"What was that?!"
"A few years.." She trails off, her face burning up.
"A few years?! A few fcuking years?!.. Oh god. I need to sit down" they follow their uneasy friend to the front of the bus, and watch her quietly as she takes a drink of water.
"How could you not tell me?! Or anyone else for that matter!"
"We don't go sharing our business to everyone Saz!" Cheryl steps in, her hand firmly grasped around Kimberley's forearm.
"I can't believe you wouldn't tell me though.." She whispers sadly.
"You have to understand where we were coming from babe" The Geordie feels terrible now, she releases her hand from Kimberley's and takes a seat beside her friend.
"Is this just a.. Sex thing?" Sarah asks, the thought needed to be said aloud.
"No" Cheryl and Kimberley say in unison.
"We love each other" They continue their words of love to each other, and it was then that Sarah noticed the fire in their eyes. The only fire a true lover could have.
"I won't say anything," Their bandmate begins with a sigh "I won't say anything until you're both ready--"
"We can't come out just Sarah--"
"You's have been together for years and you're not ready?" She asks with a scuff.
"There's Justin and Ashley in the mix.. And management.." Kimberley trails off, leaving all the details out.
"Maybe this tour will help you's kind of come to terms?" Cheryl smiles at her friends sweet words.
"Yeah.. Maybe" Kimberley approaches her girlfriend and friend, with a swift action she takes them both into a cuddle.
"Thank you for understanding"
They sigh into the affection.
Kimberley locks eyes with Cheryl and mouths an 'I love you' and she meant every single vowel.
