I may have made Obito a bit more hesitant than confident😓 it just
kinda happened 😂
"Don't worry Obito! You've got this!" Rin cheered for Obito.
Obito and Rin stood behind a couple of trees, she eagerly awaited Obito's response.
"I have to wait for the right moment!" Obito argued as he fiddled with the flowers
in his hand.
"We've been waiting for 'the right moment' for two and a half hours Obito! I'm leaving.
otherwise you tell him!" Rin stood up and walked off.
"Wait! I really need support Rin.. I'm scared" Obito looked down nervously.
"Just go for it Obito. You got this" Rin patted his shoulder.
Obito tensed up and nodded his head. He turned around to see the
silverette, mildly unaware of the two genins.
Obito walked out, holding his breath as Rin silently cheered behind him.
"You got this! Just say what we practiced Obito!" Rin whispered.
Obito walked up to Kakashi, closing his eyes tight. "Bakashi here!" He handed
him the flowers and he looked at him skeptical.
Kakashi glanced at the flowers, then he started to realize "ooooh, you want me
to give these to Rin? Are you that nervous about telling her you like her?" Kakashi
smiled.
"Uh...well..." Obito glanced at Rin who was giving him a 'your on your own' face.
"Something like that?" Obito said shakily.
"I honestly don't know why you don't just tell her you like her, but I'll
give them to her!" Kakashi jumped off.
"Wait! Uh.." Obito looked down sadly "their actually for you.." Obito felt
a tear run down his face.
"Hey! It's okay! We'll try again, I'm sure if-"
"It's impossible.. he's convinced I like you!" Obito closed his eyes.
"Obito... I have a few other plans. They will work! I promise!" Rin cheered.
Obito looked up at her and sighed "fine.. what's next?"
*rins master plan✨*
"You really think this'll work?" Obito whispered.
"Yes! Just don't stutter this time" Rin said sarcastically.
Obito breathed in and out nervously "alright.." Obito looked over
to Kakashi who was looking at a book in his hand.
"I can't- he's... he's gonna think I'm weird" Obito ruffled his hair.
"Obito!" Rin slapped him "snap out of it! Do it for love!" She protested.
Obito straitened up nodded. He stood and walked to Kakashi who
looked up at him.
"Here.. I know you like them" Obito gave Kakashi two books and looked
the other way. Personally, Obito didn't know why Kakashi liked these
types of books but he found it attractive.. for some odd reason.
Kakashi took the books and smiled.
Obito glanced at Rin and she gave him a thumbs up. He grew enough confidence to
kiss Kakashi's headband and he pulled back, expecting him to be disgusted.
"Thank you so much Obito! Your such a good friend" Kakashi smiled
and hugged him. Then he walked away, leaving Obito distressed.
"F-friend?" He whispered.
Rin face palmed herself "oh you've got to be kidding me.. Kakashi can be
so dense sometimes.." she walked over, to the sulking Uchiha.
Obito sat on the ground, looking like a child who had his candy taken away.
"Alright, get up! We're trying something else" Rin grabbed his arm and tried to
hoist him up but he wouldn't budge.
"Friend" Obito whispered, right now he looked ridiculous, a 14 year old boy, sitting
on the dirty street, looking like a sad panda bear.
"Come on Obito! I bet he likes you! He was blushing when you kissed him!" Rin
protested as she placed her hand on her hips.
Obito sighed "what's the next option...?"
*rins master plan✨... part 2..*
Rin shoved Obito down and pointed at a white board.
"Compliments!" She screamed as Obito took out a notepad.
"Compliments are one of the easiest ways to a man's heart" Rin walked back
and fourth.
"Easiest ways..." Obito took notes.
"Compliments to make Kakashi individually special would be saying he looks
nice or your impressed with his overall personality" Rin continued.
Obito raised his hand.
"What?" She asked.
"How do I spell individually?" He asked.
"Forget the spelling!" She knocked the notepad out his hand.
"What you need are nice things to say! Let's find him and make him feel
special" Rin smiled.
Obito and Rin found Kakashi talking with guy.
Rin looked at Obito. "Know what to say?" She asked him.
He slowly nodded and stood. He walked to Kakashi and hesitantly tapped
his shoulder.
"Oh, hey Obito" Kakashi smiled.
"Uh.. Bakashi I saw you here and I wanted to say that you looked
pretty" He said smoothly.
"Thank you Obito, I think you look nice too" He blushed.
"Woah it's actually working!" Rin thought.
"Maybe if you want we could-"
"I was actually gonna ask Kakashi, my sworn rival, if we could duel later" Guy
announced with his usual loud voice.
"Sorry Obito, maybe later" Kakashi waved.
Rin face palmed herself again "Dammit guy..."
"Oh no that's fine! See you later" Obito said disappointed.
After Kakashi and Guy were out of view, Rin came jumping out the
bush.
"You've got to be kidding me!" She wined.
Obito folded his arms "maybe we aren't meant to be together... it feels
like everything's pushing us apart.." Obito sat down on a bench.
"Don't say that.. we still have a whole bunch of ideas! Let's put it to use" Rin
smiled.
"Your right!" Obito cheered.
*after 52 failed attempts of love*
Obito sat down on a bridge and looked up at the sunset.
"Rin... thanks for helping.. we'll try again tomorrow" he smiled sadly.
As Rin was about to jump away, she looked back "don't beat yourself up for
this... I'm sure one day.." she jumped away.
Obitos sighed as he looked up at the orange sunset.
"Hey Obito" Kakashi sat beside him. Obito swore he felt a sensation of
warmth go through his body.
"H-hey" he smiled stupidly.
Kakashi looked at him a laughed "your funny when your embarrassed.. thank
you for all the nice things you did for me today"
Obito looked away calmly "yeah... you know Kakashi.." Obito could basically
hear his rapid heart beat "I really like you.. and I think your a really beautiful, nice, and
perfect person.."
"Thank you Obito.. I like you too! Your such a nice friend to me, and my first
friend" Kakashi rested his head on Obitos shoulder.
Obito internally face palmed himself "I didn't mean friend but sure..." he mumbled.
"If this is any step closer to getting with him then I'm fine with friends for now"
Obito rested his head on Kakashi's, his blush basically overheating himself.
"I honestly was wondering how hard you would try, just to tell me
you love me" Kakashi whispered.
Obito looked at him quickly "wait, wait what!?" He asked.
Kakashi was already fast asleep. "He... he knew.. how- when- what!?" Obito
decided to drop it and just sleep next to the small silverette cuddled next to him.
"So daman mysterious sometimes"
