Finally

I think,
it'll feel like sunlight.
A deep breath after struggling to take in clean air for so long, that final breath that lets you know you're okay now.
My chest will be full with gratefulness
instead of fear or uncomfortableness.
I won't have to beg for acknowledgment,
or accountability.
My body won't tense, my mind won't race.
I'll be okay with knowing who I'm with.
I'll feel respected and loved,
and I'll give it back in fullness without being taken advantage of.
This love will be the kind everyone
deserves from the start.
This love will be a home for everyone
who didn't get a home.
It will shine brighter, and break through
all the darkness from before
