"Here babe. Have a dumpling." Jennie said before harshly shoving it into Lisa's mouth. She was still angry about Lisa's insinuation that morning but she had to keep up appearances in front of Chaeyoung and Jisoo.

Lisa chewed on it furiously before grabbing some kimchi and doing the same to Jennie.

"You should really eat more, you're too skinny." Lisa said as she shoved multiple helpings of kimchi and rice into Jennie's mouth.

"Pot. Kettle." Jennie answered, grabbing some seaweed, rice, and meat and shoving it into Lisa's mouth again.

Lisa grabbed two dumplings and did the same to Jennie. Their cheeks were so puffed out from the amount of food in their mouths that they could have taken Chaeyoung's "chipmunk" title away by now.

Chaeyoung watched on amused, eating contentedly. She knew they must have fought over something or the other that morning, it wasn't a rare sight to see Jennie and Lisa arguing but now that they were together Chaeyoung could see the noticeable difference in the way they fought. There was more bark and less bite. More affection despite them acting angry. They were feeding each other despite the fact they had obviously just had some sort of disagreement.

Jisoo on the other hand watched them in bewilderment as they continued to over feed each other.

"They're psychotic." Jisoo said under her breath.

Chaeyoung giggled.

"Have some rice." Lisa barked.

"You have some rice!" Jennie countered.

Jennie and Lisa both grabbed a massive spoon of rice and spoon fed each other as they glared at each other angrily.

"Chipmunk? Should we just break them up? I think they'll end up killing each other with love at this rate. I don't think that's any better than before. Honestly this is much freakier."

The girls ignored Jisoo's comment, too busy fighting.

Chaeyoung chose not to answer, preferring to give Jisoo a kiss on the cheek and then feeding her just like the other two were doing to each other, but more gentle.

Jennie and Lisa finally stopped their feeding war once they ran out of food, they were both too full at this point to continue anyway.

"I have to go study." Jennie said, getting up from the table.

"Good, Lisa can go with you." Chaeyoung answered.

"What, no!" Lisa complained.

"You have a test tomorrow Lisa." Chaeyoung reminded her.

"Is that tomorrow already?" Lisa answered nervously.

"Lisa I've been telling you all week, you can't put it off anymore. Go study." Chaeyoung warned.

Lisa grumbled under her breath and Chaeyoung leveled a scary look at her.

"Ugh, fine. It's just one test though, I don't know why I need to study. What does psychology even have to do with photography and dance anyway?" Lisa reasoned.

Jennie gave her a skeptical look and it just made Lisa groan even harder.

They were forced to go to the library together. Jennie took advantage of Lisa's need to be a good fake girlfriend and made Lisa carry all of her books. She was still angry about that morning toothbrush incident.

"Okay, I need the Anatomy one. Biology. Chemistry." Jennie punctuated each one by loading Lisa up with each thick book. "Probably Physics. Aaaannnnd this one too."

Lisa grunted as Jennie set the last of her books book on top of her. Jennie draped her book bag with all of her notes over Lisa's shoulder next, dusting her hands off with a smirk.

"Why do you need so many books?" Lisa asked bewildered.

"I have to study."

"Do you have a test?"

"No."

"Then why do you have to study?!"

"I'm planning to be a surgeon Lisa."

"So?"

"So I have to know this stuff to be a surgeon, obviously! Do you only study when you have tests?"

"Lisa doesn't even study even when she has tests!" Chaeyoung shouted from the other room.

Lisa huffed.

"I just don't see the point." She said shrugging.

"You're hopeless." Jennie said, rolling her eyes at her.

"No, I just don't like to waste my time." Lisa said as she walked behind Jennie holding all of her books for her.

Lisa followed Jennie to her favorite table in the library. It was in a secluded corner, the lights were dim and the smell of books surrounded them and Jennie had all but written her name on that table to claim it, she was there so much.

Jennie spread out all of her books, intently focusing on the flash cards she was making. Highlighting all the important bits in her books and making tabs. She was so focused she wasn't paying much attention to Lisa.

Lisa, who had opened her own Psych book and immediately unfocused. She was currently doodling on the edges of her notebook.

She got bored of that quickly too and started spinning her pencil on the table instead and Jennie finally noticed as she heard the sound.

"That's not studying Lisa."

"I'm taking a break."

Jennie shook her head and went back to her work.

Lisa started drumming with her pencil, staring off into nothingness twenty minutes later.

"Lisa." Jennie warned.

"Oh. Sorry."

Lisa put her face in her hands. She started dozing off and her face almost met the table a minute later.

"Lisa!" Jennie hissed.

"What? Huh—what what what?" Lisa said bewildered, looking around as she was harshly snapped out of her sleep haze.

Jennie sighed.

"Where's your study guide?" Jennie asked.

Lisa fisted it in her hands, almost crumbling it as she brandished it at Jennie. Jennie rolled her eyes and snatched the paper from her hands, laying it on the table and straightening it out.

"You haven't even filled it out yet and your test is tomorrow?" Jennie asked incredulously. "How are you passing your classes?!"

Lisa shrugged. "I was going to wing it."

Jennie grabbed Lisa's Psych book from her and started looking up the answers, filling them out for Lisa. Too frustrated with her at the fact she was always neglecting her work.

"What are you doing?" Lisa asked.

"What does it look like." Jennie answered back sarcastically. "I'm helping you, obviously."

"I can do it myself."

"Clearly." Jennie answered dryly.

"You're wasting effort, it's not like I'm going to study it anyway."

"You are absolutely going to study."

"Says who."

"Me."

"I won't."

"You will."

"Not everyone does what you say baby brat."

"You do."

Lisa wasn't sure how Jennie had filled out the answers so quickly but she handed the study guide back a few minutes later.

"Memorize it." Jennie demanded.

"I don't want to."

"And I don't want an idiot girlfriend. Memorize it."

Lisa was flabbergasted. She choked on air.

"I'm not an idiot!"

"Prove it."

Lisa frowned as she looked at the study guide. Her competitive side rising.

Jennie snatched it away from her thirty minutes later.

"What are the seven traits of a sociopath?" Jennie quizzed Lisa.

Lisa wasn't expecting that, she wracked her brain for the answer to no avail. Despite her competitiveness taking over Lisa had pretty much zoned out five minutes into reading the answers Jennie had written for her so she didn't remember any of it so she answered in the only way she could, sarcastically.

"Short, looks like a mandu, loves Chanel, rich spoiled kitten, complicated coffee orders, baby brat, Jennie Kim." Lisa finished smirking.

Jennie rolled her eyes in response.

"I knew you were an idiot."

"I'm not!" Lisa protested.

"Then get it together, I'm not ruining my reputation by dating someone who fails a simple psych test! Do you even know what my father would say!"

"I don't care what your father would say."

"Neither do I, but we have a target on our backs you stupid idiot. Do you really think he won't look into your background, your grades? Do you really believe he'll just leave us alone? He's probably talking to your professors right now trying to see if they hate you!"

"My professors love me."

"So what if they do Lisa? You still need to try harder! Don't give my father ammo to put you on academic probation. Do this for yourself too, not just my father. Don't you care about your future?" Jennie didn't know why she was so angry but the thought of Lisa failing out of college frustrated her to no end. Didn't she know she had a great opportunity, that if she graduated from SNU her life would be set?

"Of course I do."

"Then act like it Lisa! Grow up."

Jennie slammed her books shut, letting her irrational anger take over. She stacked them and started walking away.

"Jennie! Wait." Lisa tried to follow her and Jennie shoved her back.

"If you don't ace that test tomorrow our deal is off. I'll break up with you! Get it together Lisa!"

Jennie marched out of the library leaving behind a reeling Lisa.

Lisa wasn't sure why she was even listening to the baby brat but she spent the rest of the afternoon and half of the evening actually, earnestly studying for once in her life.

Chaeyoung looked at her like she had grown a second head when she finally made it back to their dorm room and Lisa told her she had been in the library the whole time when Chaeyoung asked where she had been. Chaeyoung had figured Lisa would have ditched studying thirty minutes in like she usually did.

Lisa felt like she had grown a second head too when her professor handed her the test the next day and she found that she actually knew all of the answers. She was the first to finish and the skeptical look her professor gave her was enough to bring on a smug smile.

Lisa knew he had probably thought Lisa had guessed on most of the questions just so she could get out of there quickly. It's not like she hadn't done that before. He skimmed through her answers when she handed her test to him and the look of wide eyed shock in his eyes made Lisa's day. She skipped giddily out of the room after that. Knowing she had gotten the answers right.

Maybe studying wasn't so bad after all.

_________

Jennie jumped, startled as a pint of ice cream was placed in front of her. They were having lunch at their usual picnic table and Jennie had been looking over her flash cards, ignoring Jisoo and Chaeyoung. She hadn't even noticed Lisa had come up to them too.

Jennie looked at the smug smirk on Lisa's face and she wanted nothing more than to slap her. That stupid smirk had always irritated her, it made her feel funny any time she ever saw it. Her stomach tumbled too much every time Lisa grinned like that.

"What's this?" Jennie asked grumpily, trying to stop whatever was happening to her body because of Lisa's smile.

"Ice cream."

"Obviously, but why?"

"It's a thank you ice cream." Lisa said grinning again and sitting next to her.

"Why?" Jennie asked again, a little dubiously, looking at it and making sure the pint of ice cream was still sealed. She wouldn't put it past Lisa to poison her through her favorite ice cream flavor.

"Cus I'm pretty sure I aced my test for the first time ever thanks to you."

"Oh Great. So we're not breaking up now?" Jennie said sarcastically. "Damn it."

"You were going to break up?" Chaeyoung questioned, having heard that part.

Jennie backtracked. She momentarily forgot this whole thing was supposed to be a secret.

"I threatened Lisa with a break up if she didn't keep her grades up." Jennie responded. That was technically true.

Chaeyoung smiled hard. "No wonder she spent the whole day at the library. I wish she would have gotten together with you sooner. I have to threaten her with much worse when she has schoolwork and she only listens to me for about five minutes. You've got our Lisa whipped already if you managed to get her to actually focus and study for once."

Lisa was blushing for some reason. She wanted to argue with Chaeyoung but she really couldn't could she, not without exposing their fake dating secret. She got up instead.

"I'm still hungry. I'm gonna go back to Bambam's." Lisa said hastily, needing to escape.

"Ooooh he's here again? Can you bring me some Tom Kha Gai! Oh, and some mango with sticky rice!" Chaeyoung shouted and Lisa just nodded her head as she walked away from them.

She spotted Bambam's food truck and just as she was approaching it she was cut off. Lisa wasn't in the mood for this so she snapped.

"Out of the way Richie Rich." Lisa said as she tried going around him.

Kai only smirked, blocking her path again. Lisa sighed, she really, really wasn't in the mood.

"What!" Lisa said sharply. "Why is your stupid Gucci face still in front of me?"

"Just wanted to tell you I'm on my way to get my girl back."

Lisa scowled. "You wish. She's my girl now."

"Watch me."

Lisa didn't like his tone. She watched him walk away. Lisa shook her head. She went to Bambam's food truck and placed her order. She felt antsy though.

"What's wrong with you?" Bambam asked as he noticed Lisa's anxiety. Lisa was bouncing on the balls of her feet as she waited.

"Nothing."

"Bullshit."

"It's nothing." Lisa affirmed as she reached out for the food Bambam was handing her. He moved it out of the way, not letting Lisa grab it at the last second and Lisa glared at him in retaliation.

"Tell me what it is that's bothering you or you're dealing with a grumpy hungry chipmunk because I won't give you this." Bambam threatened. Getting Lisa to talk when she was upset was like pulling teeth sometimes. Only Chaeyoung was good at drilling her and Bambam knew that was only because the blonde girl was unusually perceptive and could read most people like a book.

"It's nothing!" Lisa said grumpily again.

Bambam took the food away and shouted "Next!" To the crowd of customers behind Lisa, making good on his threat because he knew that was the only way he could get Lisa to talk.

Lisa sighed heavily, rolling her eyes.

"Fine! I just ran into Jennie's ex. That's all."

Bambam smirked.

"Are you jealous?" He asked her.

"No. He just irritates me."

"Why?"

"Because he said he was on his way to get Jennie back. Insolent jerk. As if."

"What are you still doing here then!" Bambam asked bewildered.

"What do you mean?"

"He's probably with Jennie right now you dummy! Are you really going to let him try and take your girl away?!"

Lisa groaned. Her anxiety spiking even more.

"Here. Go!" Bambam ordered her as he finally handed Lisa the food. He didn't need an angry chipmunk coming after him either. "Hurry up and put him in his place!"

Lisa walked back to their table, trying to calm herself down. It's not like this was real, it's not like Jennie was actually her girl. What was she even freaking out about?

Jennie wasn't at their table though. She looked to Chaeyoung and Jisoo in question and they pointed.

Jennie looked like she was halfway into an argument with Kai a few yards away. Lisa frowned. She was about to sit down when she watched Kai grab the back of Jennie's neck and leaned in to kiss her.

Lisa dropped the food she was holding.

"Oh shit." Jisoo said, standing abruptly from the table. Lisa looked livid, Jisoo was fully intending on holding her back because she had never seen Lisa look so murderous before and she wasn't sure who Lisa would kill first, Jennie or Kai.

Even Chaeyoung followed too. The last time she had seen her best friend so angry was when Lisa beat up a girl during senior year after Chaeyoung's parents adopted Lisa and the girl had insulted them, calling them awful names for taking in a foreigner and Lisa ended up getting arrested for the third time in her life for that assault.

Chaeyoung and Lisa's parents would kill her if she let Lisa end up in jail again.

Lisa basically sprinted to them after seeing the kiss though so neither Jisoo nor Chaeyoung could have stopped what happened next. Lisa grabbed the back of Kai's collar roughly, ripping him away from Jennie and then proceeded to punch him straight in his rich and handsome face. He crumpled to the ground. Lisa had hit him square in the jaw and his body followed quickly, unable to hold itself up from the force of Lisa's blow.

Jennie looked on in shock.

"Lis?" Jennie asked tentatively as she watched Lisa tower over Kai, looking entirely too angry.

"We're breaking up." Lisa said to Jennie, turning on her heel angrily and storming off.

Kai tried to follow Lisa for payback but by then Chaeyoung and Jisoo had caught up to them and they both blocked him.

"Nope." Jisoo said, stiff arming him, shoving him back. She was so not about to let him touch a hair on Lisa's head, even if she had punched him first and started the whole thing.

"I don't think so." Chaeyoung added.

"Limario just beat your ass with a single punch, do you really want some more?" Jisoo continued, hoping the taunts would discourage him.

"It's embarrassing really. Give up while you're still ahead Kai." Chaeyoung finished.

Jennie ran after Lisa, not paying any mind to anything else.
