It was thundering out loud, it seemed only a few moments or so, it'd begun raining. The atmosphere reeked of something, something which sounded, felt like a surprise something in the form of a disaster, and yet, in the middle of the town of Seoul, zooming in, in one of the well-lighted areas, the door to a villa opened, welcoming the 'guests.'
'Hello, welcome Mr. and Mrs. Kim, please come in.'- with this, entered a lady in a white bodycon dress, hugging her curves, she looked too fit for her age, being 40 and mother of many sons, and yet she managed to look really pretty with those black long wavy hair, and wheatish tone of the skin. Beside her stood her husband in a black formal suit, pretty much handsome for his 42-year-old self, his expressions stony, yet something about him spoke of dominance and power. Jet black hair and tanned honey skin tone, both looked like the power couple and emitted the same vibes.
'Oh hey boys, how are you all?'- the lady that had welcomed them, asked after the couple stepped inside their villa.
Seven boys, all of them wore sickening sweet smiles, much too sweet when compared to their father's expressions. Their outfits shouted out 'Nerds', with hair gelled, and perfect looking striking features, all of them wearing glasses as if it was a tradition. And yet, if one looked too closely, they'd recognize, that the smiles, were nothing but 'fake'. But only someone who mastered body language would be able to do so, and since, here we're talking about no such person.
The boys bowed, all in sync, and the lady, dressed in a black dress, with her blonde hair, and white skin tone, backed off slightly, breaking into a smile just a second later.
'Oh, how well mannered they are, Mina, you did well with bringing them up!'- she hugged Mrs. Kim.
Her own husband came from behind, wearing a formal suit of contrasting off-white, his hair, dark and slightly curly at the edges, his face sharp, and yet carrying a small smile. He stood beside her wife and nodded at the Kim couple.
'Come on in, let's sit down first.'- he spoke and made sure, the couple as well as the boys followed the maid, towards the living room, in their villa, big enough to hold a couple of people at once, without making it uncomfortable.
The Kim couple sat down, beside each other, on a double couch, Mrs. Kim Mina crossing her legs in a very elegant manner, her husband doing the same in a manly manner.
The Choi couple, the host of the guests, sat down on the opposite double couch, whereas all the boys settled themselves in the middle, remaining silent, waiting for their parents to speak.
'Where are your children, Areum?'- asked Mrs. Kim.
Choi Areum, got up, smiling, 'Just wait a minute, I'll call them all.'
'Boys! Come on, come downstairs!'- She shouted.
A few seconds passed by, as all of them heard footsteps, and turned to look at the stairs.
Five boys, stepped downstairs, wearing wide smiles on their faces too, all of them, bowed and greeted the guests, taking their places on the remaining area of the couch too.
'Where's your sister?'
'Oh, she went out earlier for her classes, don't worry mother, she'll be here soon.'- one of them replied, to which Choi Areum nodded.
'I'm sorry, don't worry, she'll be here soon, she might be on the way.'
'No worries, we can wait.'- Mina spoke.
Soon enough, drinks were served, juice for the boys who refused to have Tea, while the elders had their choices set.
The couples talked among themselves, while the boys sat in front of each other, with awkward faces, passing smiles when either of their eyes met and nodding to nothing in specific.
...
The horn of a car sounded, to which the boys excitedly smiled at each other, knowing their sister was there.
'Oh, she's here, Y/N-ah, come here in the living area!'- Areum shouted.

The mentioned girl soon made her presence, walking in, with a bag hung on one of her shoulders, headphones around her neck, short wavy black hair, wheatish skin tone, wearing aviator glasses, a book in her hand, and casual clothes, which included an oversized shirt, lying loosely over her skinny jeans, and sneakers on feet.
She smiled and greeted the Kim couple, turning and smiling at the seven boys too, who returned it gladly and then turned to her brothers, whose smiles widened if possible.
'Sit down, dear, the maid will get you something to drink.'
Y/N nodded, and sat down, on one of the empty cushioned chairs, keeping her bag on the table to his side, and removing her headphones.
She passed a smile to the maid and picked up the glass of apple juice, gulping two or three sips, and holding it, as she crossed her legs, and looked at others.
'Okay, now that all of you are here. Firstly, children, why don't you introduce yourselves to each other.'- Areum spoke.
'They can start first, come on boys.'- Mina spoke to the seven, who nodded.
'Hey, I'm Kim Namjoon, 23, and working with my father in his company.'- the guy with particularly visible dimples spoke, pushing back his glasses, and passing over a smile to the one who sat beside him.
'I'm Kim Seokjin, you can simply call me Jin. 24, and I have my own cafe.'- this one had wide shoulders, and a soft smile, face one of those similar to Greek gods.
'Min Suga, I'm the adopted son of Kims, but they are my one and only parents. 24 too, and I am the director of xxx music company.'- surely, this one's gummy smile literally brightened the area around him.
'Hello everyone! I'm Jung Hoseok, people usually call me J-hope, I'm a dance teacher, 23 and I'm also adopted son of the Kims, but they are my parents for me.'- wow, that sunshine smile, damn, how could someone smile so bright?!
'Hey! I'm Park Jimin! 22, and I'm currently studying in college, this is my last year though, arts field, adopted too~'- damn, those mochi cheeks and those crescent eyes.
'I'm Kim Taehyung, 22, Jimin's like my own soulmate-cousin brother, anyway, I'm with him, in the last year of college, and the same field. Nope, I'm not adopted, hehe.'- the way his mouth broke out into a box, surely too much to handle at once.
'I'm Jeon Jungkook, 21, in the second last year of college, and studying computers. I'm adopted, but I don't think so, my hyungs and parents give me all the love I could ask for.'- the boy smiles a bright bunny-toothed smile and looked at his hyungs who all looked at him in adoration.

'Hello, I'm Choi Yeonjun, 22, and I'm too, in my last year of college.'- the boy spoke with a cute smile.
'Hey, I'm Choi Soobin, 22, same as Jun, and in my last year of college too!'- the one with a dimpled smile spoke.
'I'm Choi Boemgyu! I love talking and I'm 20, in my second year.'- the one with glasses spoke, waving cutely.
'I'm Huening Kai, the youngest of all of us, 18, and I'm in my last year at high school. Hehe.'- he smiled quite cutely, his face showing the innocence of young age.
'I'm Kang Taehyun, my and Kai are adopted and yet we have the hyungs who love us a lot, and parents whom we adore, and of course our sister. Anyway, I'm 20, like Gyu, in my second year.'- he smiled, looking more mature than his age.
All the attention was now on Y/N who shook her head,
'I'm Choi Y/N, 21, in my third year at college, studying maths and computers.'- she smiled at her mother, clearly wanting to not be the center of attention anymore.
...
'Now that the introduction part is done, we'll come straight to the point guys, we've been hiding stuff from you, but...alas, we think the time has come to let you all know about it, clearly.'- Choi Hyunjae, husband of Areum spoke, making the atmosphere really serious.
'That's right, it's something you won't be able to digest, it'll come as a surprise, but it's true.'- Kim Seowon spoke, making it slightly uneasy, for the youngers to handle.
Both the couples stood up, the Choi couple holding hands, same with the Kims.
'We're divorcing.'
First shock. Reaction to it- frozen bodies and ragged breathing.
'And...'
Choi Areum walked towards Kim Seowon, while Kim Mina walked towards Choi Hyunjae, now holding each other's hands,
'We're marrying.'
Second shock. Reaction to it- gasps, and shocked faces.

Story extra info-
The villa is not particularly bought by the Choi's, it was inherited by Choi Hyunjae, after his marriage to his wife, Choi Areum, given to him as something that resembles his family generation before him. And that's why it was slightly ancient designed. However, they have a modern villa, which will be presented later on~
I hope you liked the chapter. I honestly wasn't thinking of uploading this any soon, but someone, under my conversations area particularly asked for another stepbrother fanfiction, and so here I am. The plot, I can assure you, has a nice story twist in the middle, just sit back, and read, relaxed, you'll see some gripping scenes soon, Ig, only if you like them. Hehe. I'm still working on the rest of the plot.
