Kakashi: When do you plan on letting me go?
Obito: When we reach the gates of the village.
Kakashi: And how long will that take?
Obito: 'bout an hour.
Kakashi: And what am I supposed to do until then?
Obito: I dunno, "get lost on the path of life" as you say?
Kakashi: How am I supposed to get lost on the path of life if I can't even walk on the path of life?!
Obito laughed.

Kakashi: Obito.

Obito: What?!
Kakashi: Can you let me go now?
Obito: Not if my life depended on it, which it does, so no.
Kakashi: Please?
Obito: No.
Kakashi: Please?

Obito dropped Kakashi and let him walk himself.
Obito: If you even think about running away I will catch you and not let you go till the day you die.
Kakashi: Hmm. Let's put that to the test, shall we?
Obito: Kakashi I swear to god-
Kakashi had already jumped into the trees.
Obito ran after him.
Obito: That wretched escape artist!
A/N this is an AU where obito and kashi both teach team 7 and basically they were on a mission together and during the end of it kashi ran off and obito nearly had a panic attack from worry. kashi was cool tho which made obito even more annoyed and namikaze knew that was gonna happen and therefore gave obito the mission of watching over kakashi just to see how far things could get out of hand. also rin alive and she laughed when they came back to the village and heard the story.
