3rd POV:

When you arrive at school the next day and sit down sheepishly in your seat, instead of Kalego-sensei Dali-sensei walks in. "Hey everyone! I'll be substituting Kalego-sensei today since he got a really bad case of an evil cycle yesterday and didn't get any better attitude since then, so he will be on forced leave until it's over. As for the challenge you made, I will be here to check it on his behalf in case he won't make it back in time." The teacher announces before making the roll call in Kalego's stead. It only makes you more anxious, because you know that the next time you see him he will have a clear mind and will remember what happened yesterday... Still, him being gone means you will have a different duty than to keep him off of your classmates. "Tch, that means we can't get Kalego's diary and bribe Morax with it." Jazz murmurs, getting a nod from Iruma who then looks at you. "Since Kalego-sensei isn't present, you can help us out with other things. After our classes end, meet with me in the garden. We'll make a battle plan for dealing with the New Magic Battler head, someone definitely cast a spell on him." Iruma says and you nod, ready to put on a performance to hide your guilt. Even though something tells you he knows already.

The day passes by slower than usual, your mind weighted down by your troubles. Finally, the school bell goes off, and you make your way to the garden where Iruma stands. You can feel his confrontational aura already as his eyes are on you. Still, you walk up to him without hesitation. "I know it was you. No one else in the school is capable of manipulating minds using a spell. There was this guy who not long ago changed the personality of the Student Council President, but it wasn't with a spell. And the Battler head was affected using a spell, not a potion or an item. As for the papers you have used, you are easily capable of inventing spells of any sorts, so this isn't something you couldn't have done. But one other point is that you had all the time to do it you could have ever wanted, you were set to observe Kalego who actually spent his yesterday looking for you, so you wouldn't have issues keeping him in check. The last piece of evidence is your and Kalego's relationship. It's safe to say you're the one in the class who respects him the most, and in turn Kalego gives you tasks to let you grow. Still, one thing is unclear – how could you go against your classmates? You have friends in the class, why make it harder for them?" Iruma accuses, standing there with his arms crossed. You sigh, knowing there's no easy way out of this one. "Simple. It was your plan, and I don't respect you." You straight up admit, making his eyes widen. "Usually, you are friendly and don't carve your own path, instead simply focusing on enjoying life. That's not something that would make me like this, but it was the flip of you going into an evil cycle, calling the class and the surrounding area your territory. That came out of the blue and was simply arrogant. I wasn't amazed nor enchanted by your confidence, because unlike my classmates my mind isn't so easily swayed. I'm not going to blindly follow you if I can't respect you." You explain, not holding back your dislike. He goes silent, looking right at your face and then finally sighs. "If that's the case, then I'll just have to make you." Iruma says, lifting his hand so the ring is visible as he adjusts the power output gauge. A duel. "So be it." You say, cracking your fingers.

"Raffire!" He casts, extending his ringed hand and casting a strong flame that's way over your safety level. "Cruel creator." You cast, a golem rising just in time to take the hit and crumble, working like a living shield. This fight isn't going to be easy since his borrowed power can pack a serious punch. "Libera!" Another attack goes your way, this time a Chinese dragon mindless spirit, most commonly used to give strength to projectiles. But now it's a raw attack, and you barely dodge its high speed before another wave of fire comes your way. With a high speed cast, you use the other spell you have been practicing and erect a wall of stone, which shatters under the pressure, and you have to block with your arms, so you don't get a concussion from a rock hitting your head. If Iruma was fighting someone other than you or Kerori who can also make a barrier out of ice, it would have been a very one sided beating. Before the dust from the barrier can clear, another libera strike comes out of nowhere and sends you flying, and you fall down on your side. If his attacks weren't crazy strong, you would have stood a chance. "Or if you wouldn't go easy on him. After all, only a half of you is fighting." Says a familiar voice, and you look up at the Oracle standing next to you, a smile on their face. The dust clears and Iruma is walking over, no doubt to smear your loss in your face and make you submit. Before that happens, you get to your feet and look him in the eye. "If you're going to fight with no restraint like this, then I should do the same and not use just a half of me now, should I?" You say, the Oracle's smile growing into a smirk as excitement courses through them.

The back of your uniform is torn and out of the slit in your back comes a strip of flesh covered in the very familiar eyes with golden irises. Another follows, three, four, ten, twenty and all of them coil and create a larger mass beside you, some poking out the sides and clinging to the surrounding terrain like vines. The larger mass has its very own features, as bright yellow sacks of semi-transparent fat hang from the underside, at least 30 legs rise from the side and the rest are intestines, eyes and fingers. The gore catches Iruma off guard, and he backs away a little. At the same time, the Oracle is ecstatic as you finally are going to weaponize your shared insides and use their gifts to fight. The flesh just behind your back shifts and coils, changing form until two hands are set on your shoulders. Iruma is frozen as he looks at the person behind you, the Oracle in a physical form. Their eyes are shut, then the normal two with dark irises open and they give a soft smile, before the hidden third eye with an iris of gold opens, this is far from natural. You hear the thoughts of you both bouncing around in your head and follow the plan, casting one fire spell after another as Iruma dodges them, too caught off guard to try to counterattack this soon. Finally, in a few moments you are satisfied as you hit almost every spot on your little battlefield, and Iruma lifts his ring to strike back. This is when the Oracle takes your hands and leans over you with their superior size due to standing on some of the flesh, lifting one of your hands to their face while the other goes to your own. "You're done, Iruma." You say, and he freezes in confusion. "You lost the moment you didn't run off the battlefield, as even your superior dodging that works less due to your confidence won't save you now." The Oracle says, and you both grin in sync.

"REVERSE!" You both shout, using a skill of the Erythrae of controlling time to affect all the fire spells you casted earlier, reversing their flow as they come out from the impact and fly up, several of them pelting his back and sending him flying in turn. You cast another fire spell and aim to where he is bound to fall, hitting him in the chest with another fire spell. A raspy cough comes from your opponent, lifting his hand and he starts to cast another spell, but your flesh reacts, and his leg is grabbed, distracting him and flinging him into the school building's wall. As you start walking over to finish the fight and knock him out, your flesh shudders as the Oracle's form is undone, they hid. "They were fighting here!" You hear the Student Council President's hurried voice closing in and turn your head. You see her, Ameri, jog in, her fox ears down in an upset expression, her long orange hair behind her. Next to her is Balam-sensei who went with her to stop your fight. Both of them stop, their eyes on the large mass of flesh that clings to the surrounding area like some sort of disease, shivers running down Ameri's spine as the eyes dart to them on instinct with the exception of a few that stay on Iruma. As they are frozen, you relax yourself and the flesh retracts like measuring tape into your insides, their form broken as it all comes back.

A question for 5 points: What happens when your insides were on your outside, and then they contract into a small space?

A) You get stronger, all of those organs packed tight have more energy

B) You get hungry, it takes energy to use way more flesh than usual

C) You get very nauseous, and you wish you were dead

Correct answer: C.

The moment it finishes, your blood pressure goes up and everything you ate suddenly wants to be on your outside. As everyone stares at you, your hand is about to dart to your face but it's slower than your urge throw up which wins, your head spinning like crazy and it's a miracle that when you fall you don't face plant into your very own vomit. "[Y/N]!" You hear Balam shout, but then all that blood pressure getting to your ears gets you deaf for a moment. Before it can pass, you pass out yourself.

Balam POV, 30 minutes later:

After a short conference with other teachers and some communication magic with [Y/N]'s family explaining what's going on and what I know about him, I was given the green light to take care of him at the school grounds instead of the nurse office. I look down at the demon in my arms, his eyes shut and body shaky as a natural consequence of vomiting. I don't exactly know what's wrong with him, but I can do my best to take care of him. When we get to my cabinet, I put a pillow and blanket onto the examination table and tuck him in there, then get a bowl with warm water and a rag, then a thermometer with clear crystals inside that react to temperature. I put the thermometer under his shirt and put the measurement part into his armpit, and then take the rag which I soak in water and wash his face. I should request a change of clothes for him from home, being in an uniform is bound to be uncomfortable. After a bit of standing around, I take it out and to my relief the stones are yellow, not orange. Still, who knows when he'll wake up... I can't just sit here and watch him, so I sit down by the desk and grade the exams from earlier today. Time passes by, and when there's just two papers left, I hear something stirring. Wasting no time, I get up and get to [Y/N]'s side, seeing him open his eyes which are zoned out as if he's not exactly there. With a noise of nausea(won't describe it, it's nasty), he turns to his side and throws up on the floor before promptly passing out again. Naturally, I quickly take care of it.

Well, I'll be staying overtime today.
